Cheap Trick Announces Fall 2023 North American Headlining Tour

Cheap Trick is in the throes of a monthslong North American tour, and they show no signs of stopping. The road warriors just announced new headlining dates that will keep them on the move through late October.

The newly announced tour leg begins on Oct. 2 in Springfield, Missouri, and ends on Oct. 22 in Reno, Nevada. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday. You can find more information on Cheap Trick's  website and see all of their upcoming tour dates below.

Before they embark on their headlining run, the power-pop veterans will spend all of August opening for Rod Stewart . They'll also visit West Salem, Ohio, for the inaugural Dragway 42 Music Festival at the end of July and the Tennessee Soybean Festival in September.

Cheap Trick released their most recent album,  In Another World , in April 2021. They've toured rigorously in support of it over the past two years, notably playing 66 different songs during a four-night stand in Las Vegas in 2022.

Cheap Trick Announce Fall 2023 US Tour Dates

The rock legends have beefed up their extensive 2023 itinerary with new dates in October

Cheap Trick have announced a string of Fall 2023 US tour dates, adding to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame act’s robust concert itinerary.

The newly announced dates kick off October 2nd in Springfield, Missouri, and run through October 22nd in Reno, Nevada.

Artist and VIP ticket pre-sales begin Wednessday (July 12th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster using the code CTLIVE , while general sales start Friday (July 14th) at 10 a.m. local time. You can also get tickets via StubHub ,  where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.

Ahead of the October dates, Cheap Trick will continue to make their way across the continent through the summer and into fall. Next up, the Illinois natives have a sold-out date at the Metro in Chicago on Sunday (July 16th). The concert slate also includes festival performances, benefit shows, and support dates for Rod Stewart.

CHEAP TRICK Announces October 2023 U.S. Tour Dates

Legendary rockers CHEAP TRICK have announced a series of new headlining dates for this fall. The trek kicks off on October 2 in Springfield, Missouri and ends on October 22 in Reno, Nevada.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 14.

CHEAP TRICK will spend August opening for Rod Stewart and will also make a couple of festival appearances — in late July at the Dragway 42 Music Festival in West Salem, Ohio and in September at the Tennessee Soybean Festival .

The bandmembers are true pioneers with an unparalleled streak of certifiably classic tunes, from "He's A Whore" , "California Man" and "Dream Police" to "Surrender" , "I Want You To Want Me" and the worldwide No. 1 hit single "The Flame" .

Carlos stopped touring with the band in 2010 and was replaced by Nielsen 's son Daxx . Rounding out CHEAP TRICK 's current touring lineup is Robin Zander 's son, Robin Taylor Zander , on rhythm guitar and vocals.

CHEAP TRICK 's 20th studio album, "In Another World" , was released in April 2021 via BMG . Produced by longtime associate Julian Raymond , the LP saw CHEAP TRICK doing what they do better than anyone — crafting indelible rock 'n' roll with oversized hooks, mischievous lyrics, and seemingly inexorable energy.

"In Another World" — which marked CHEAP TRICK 's first new LP since 2017's double-header of "We're All Alright!" and "Christmas Christmas" — showcased CHEAP TRICK at their most eclectic, touching on a myriad of distinct sounds and song approaches, from the swampy Chicago blues number "Final Days" (featuring fiery harmonica from Grammy Award -nominated singer and WET WILLIE frontman Jimmy Hall ) to a timely rendition of John Lennon 's still-relevant "Gimme Some Truth" , originally released for Record Store Day Black Friday 2019 and featuring the instantly recognizable guitar sound of erstwhile SEX PISTOLS guitarist Steve Jones .

Cheap Trick announced new tour dates in the United States and Canada for 2023, the band have scheduled shows next July, August, September and October. In selected dates they will be Rod Stewart’s opening act.

Their current line-up has Robin Zander (Vocals, guitar – Since 1974), Rick Nielsen (Guitar – Since 1973), Tom Petersson (Bass – Since 1973), Robin Taylor Zander (Guitar – Since 2014) and Daxx Nielsen (Drums – Since 2010). Their most recent album “Another World” was released in 2021.

Band extends summer touring slate into fall

Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Cheap Trick have announced fall tour dates that will begin October 2nd at Springfield, MO’s Gillioz Theatre and then make stops across the country through the month. Stops include Omaha, Albuquerque, Bakersfield, and others before wrapping October 22nd in Reno.

Artist and VIP presales begin Wednesday, July 12th at 10 am local time with local presales beginning Thursday, July 13th at 10 am local time. All presales conclude Thursday, July 13th at 10 pm with local time with the general on-sale starting Friday, July 14th at 10 am local.

Long-known as one of rock’s hardest-working live acts, Cheap Trick is currently poised for a busy summer schedule that includes North American headline shows, festival performances, benefit concerts, and an eagerly awaited tour as special guest to Rod Stewart. The dates get underway July 16th with a sold out show at Chicago, IL’s iconic Metro and then continue through October.

Founded in 1974, Cheap Trick are an indisputable American institution, beloved around the globe for their instantly identifiable, hugely influential, brand of pop rock ‘n’ roll. The band – Robin Zander on vocals and guitar, Rick Nielsen on lead guitar, Tom Petersson on bass, Daxx Nielsen on drums, Robin Taylor Zander on guitar – are true pioneers with an unparalleled streak of certifiably classic tunes, from “He’s A Whore,” “California Man” and “Dream Police” to “Surrender,” “I Want You To Want Me,” and the worldwide No. 1 hit single, “The Flame.”

Cheap Trick Announce Fall 2023 Tour Dates

Cheap Trick recently announced that they will be hitting the road once again for a fall tour! The band took to social media to share upcoming tour dates with fans and followers, and to detail ticket presale dates. The "I Want You To Want Me" artists are currently on tour with Rod Stewart until the beginning of September, with a few solo shows mixed into the schedule. Their highly-anticipated fall tour will begin on October 2nd in Springfield, Missouri.

Additional fall tour stops include Omaha, Nebraska, Salina, Kansas, Sioux City, Iowa, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tucson, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, Temecula, California, Bakersfield, California, Fresno, California, Modesto, California, Oroville, California, and last but not least, Reno, Nevada on October 22nd.

Interested individuals are able to order pre-sale tickets for the tour today with special code, CTLIVE. General ticket sales will begin on July 14th at 10:00 a.m. local time. Cheap Trick's next performance is set for their home state of Illinois, and will take place in Chicago on Sunday, July 16th. The band is also scheduled to perform at a few festivals this summer including the Tennessee Soybean Festival in Martin, Tennessee, and the Dragway 42 Music Festival in West Salem, Ohio.

Cheap Trick has officially announced fall tour dates that are set to begin n October 2nd at Springfield, MO’s Gillioz Theater. The band is set to make several stops around the US throughout the month. VIP and artist presale tickets are set to begin on July 12th with local presales beginning on July 13th. General on-sale will begin on Friday, July 14th at 10 am.

Cheap Trick was founded in 1974 and quickly skyrocketed in the entertainment world becoming a global sensation. The band consists of Robin Zander on guitar and vocals, Tom Petersson on bass, Rick Nielsen on lead guitar, Robin Taylor Zander on guitar, and Daxx Nielsen on drums.

Some of their major hits include “Dream Police,” “He’s a Whore,” “The Flame,” “California Man,” and fan favorite, “I Want You To Want Me.”

The band, known for their unique rock sound, is getting ready to have a busy summer, with shows all around North America, as well as festival performances and a long-awaited tour as special guests to the legendary Rod Stewart .

Back in 2016, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Throughout the years they have earned more than 40 international Gold and Platinum certifications and have sold over 20 million record sales.

In 2021, the band released their twentieth studio album, Another World , which included hits “The Summer Looks Good on You” and “Gimme Some Truth” which is a John Lennon Cover.

Fans in the Northeast can catch the classic rockers live too when they play Bethel, NY’s Bethel Woods Center For The Arts with Rod Stewart on Sept. 1.

Wall to wall sound, anthemic vocals and hard charging guitars on the record’s first two tracks “The Summer Looks Good On You” and “Quit Waking Me Up” wouldn’t be out of place in the group’s output from their heyday by our estimation.

Our favorite though has to be the bombastic “The Party” that has a groove line you won’t be able to get out of your head for weeks.

Louder Sound agreed and called “In Another World” one of Cheap Trick’s “best albums yet.”
