Just saw on my travel summary that we'll be getting two "Cruise Night Coupon Books". Can anyone tell me what's in them?

The ones I received this year expire on 12/31. So don't know what will be in the 2019 ones. The best one is a BOGO free at a speciality dinner the first night. Another included free bottled water at a speciality dinner. There were coupons for spa treatments, internet, drinks, photos, etc.. Sort of worthless except for the BOGO free dinner.
I found a link for this years (hopefully someone will post next years):
We never found anything worth while

Thanks so much Coral. I had pre-paid for our 1st night dinner at the Crown Grill, which I'll now cancel. Hopefully the 2019 books will have the BOGO coupon as well.

The cruise Night Coupon book in your cabin , from your TA has the First Night
Speciality Restaurant BoGo and Water coupons . Other than that , not much
worth anything .
However , many delay opening the book not realizing the BoGo is for the first night only.
Not to be confused with the other Coupon book in your cabin that is completely worthless .
We're doing a 2nd Princess cruise right after this one. Will our second Cruise Night coupon book's BOGO first night Specialty Restaurant coupon be able to be used on that 2nd cruise's first night?
3 minutes ago, canadarocks said: We're doing a 2nd Princess cruise right after this one. Will our second Cruise Night coupon book's BOGO first night Specialty Restaurant coupon be able to be used on that 2nd cruise's first night?
Yes. I mailed mine to a friend and she used it on a B2B on the 2nd cruise (on the first night of the 2nd cruise).
I just hope they don't eliminate that coupon - it is the only good one in the group.

If you are traveling alone is the specialty dinner coupon worth anything?
9 hours ago, Sea Day Cruiser said: If you are traveling alone is the specialty dinner coupon worth anything?
Not unless you go with someone from your roll call.
Sailing in a full suite I have a complimentary specialty dining the first night. Would the coupon work on another night?
14 hours ago, Sea Day Cruiser said: If you are traveling alone is the specialty dinner coupon worth anything?
No , but don’t let it go to waste . Give it to someone else as only those who book with TA’s who offer them, get them.

If it were me I would move the free complimentary first night meal to another night, and use the bogo the first night. Go to the specialty DR soon after boarding and the maitre'd there will very likely meet your request.

Since we prefer meeting our table mates and wait staff the first night we find the coupon books great for lining our garbage can.

Why miss out on a good deal when they still be there the night after.

Simple. For us more important to meet table mates and servers than go to crown grill. We only go to the Grill every 2-3 cruises as DW is not a steak eater

I know this is an older tread but it is the latest I could find (beats starting a new one).
Just wondering, what good does it do that both my DW and I get a " CRUISE NIGHT COUPON BOOK" if we only can use the BOGO specialty restaurant on the first night. Maybe we can hand in both coupons and get a complete freebee 😉 and get a full bottle of water.
If not we will offer the second one to one of our fellow cruisers on our roll call unless they are exclusively for our use only.
Does anybody know if there will be a cabin # or name attached to those coupons.

Who knows how a person qualifies to get one of the Cruise Night Coupon books?
Is it the TA that has control over it or does the book come from Princess during a special booking period?

We were selfish and kept our second one as we have another cruise coming up. However, if we receive additional coupon books on this cruise (no indication we will), I guess we can find a beneficiary as no more cruises before Dec 31/19. Nothing on the coupons indicates the ship/voyage - just an expiry date.

No idea but on the one we have recently had and another one coming up it credits our TA with getting it for us.
Personally would be happy to sway it for a cup of coffee as we find it useless.

It often comes when TAs have a special $100 deposit time (even if you don't use the $100 deposit and use a FCD).

Day 0: Arrive in Anchorage (late)
Day 1: Full day in Anchorage
Pick up rental car , Earthquake Park, Tony Knowles Coastal Trail . Possibly Trolly Tour or Anchorage museum if we have the time and energy after a late flight .
Day 2: Drive to Glacier View (2.5 hours)
Matanuska Glacier tour at 3pm through Glacier Tours. On the way, do 1 hike: Thunderbird Falls, South Fork/Barbara Falls, Albert Falls at Eagle River Nature Center, Reflections Lake or Boddenburg Butte. Too many to choose from, so we’ll probably let my daughter choose the night before based on how far we want to go and how early we want to get out of the hotel. Stop at Eklutna Historical Park. Time permitting, stop at Mat Rec Site and do the short Edge Nature Trail walk. (Intentionally skipping Reindeer Farm and Musk Ox farm in lieu of more hiking adventures.) Staying at Alpenglow Luxury Camping.
Day 4: Drive to Denali , with a stop in Willow for Dog Sledding
QUESTION: How much time should we allow to get from Alpenglow Luxury Camping where we are staying to Snowhook Adventures in Willow? Google Maps says 2 hours, but I know not to trust that!
After dog sledding, fingers crossed for a clear day. If clear, hike Moose Flats Loop Trail. If not a clear day, open to other suggestions for a hike or activity. Possibly Talkeetna to the Riverfront Park. Or may just head straight to the Denali Visitor Center to get the Jr. Ranger back pack and booklet and do an entrance hike. Staying at Aurora Denali.
Day 4: East Fork Transit Bus into Denali
7:30am bus ticket. Will definitely get off to hike at some point, likely along the river bed, but will talk to the rangers and bus drivers for other ideas. We are prepared hikers, but getting lost makes me nervous, and not up for big elevation gains.
Day 5: 2nd full day in Denali
Hike Savage River Loop, maybe an additional hikes around the visitor center. Sled dogs.
Day 6: Drive back to Anchorage (5 hrs)
Choose to do this long drive in one shot so that we would have more time for stops the following day. Do one of the hikes we didn’t do on the way up to Denali. Stop at Iditarod Headquarters.
Day 7: Drive Anchorage to Seward (3 hrs)
Hike Virgin Creek falls or the waterfall at McHugh Recreation Site. Gold Panning at Indian Valley Mine or Crow Creek Mine. Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center . Would love to fit in Tonsina Creek Trail this day, but that is probably overly ambitious. Once in Seward, planning to stop at the visitor center to pick up a Jr. Ranger book and drop off our laundry at Suds N Swirl to pickup before we get on our cruise a couple days later. Possibly also dropping off the rental car (TBD). Staying at Northern Nights B&B.
QUESTION: Beluga Point – What are the chances of seeing Belugas if we are there at low tide? I think it’s pretty low likelihood, so probably would make this a quick stop.
QUESTION: For Gold Panning, is India Valley Mine or Crow Creek Mine better? Any reason to choose one over the other?
Day 8: Kenai Fjords Cruise with Major Marine
Doing the 11:30 cruise , so we will likely just walk around Seward/along the waterfront in the morning.
Day 9: Exit Glacier & Board Cruise
If we’ve kept our car , will drive; if not, will take a shuttle/taxi. Hike Glacier Overlook Trail (possibly ranger-led if we time it right). Explore the nature center and get Jr. Ranger badge. Head back to our hotel to pick up bags and head to the cruise terminal. Plan to arrive by 4pm for an 8pm departure.
QUESTION: If we’ve decided not to keep our car , is it feasible to get to the cruise terminal with all our bags on the free shuttle? Or is cab a better option? Not sure how cruise crowds affect either of these options.
Once on the cruise , we have the below plans (all excursions booked)
- Juneau : Mendenhall Glacier Rafting. Maybe do the tram afterwards if it’s a nice day (not planning to purchase anything ahead of time)
- Skagway: Grizzly Falls Zip Lines. Visitor Center to get Jr. Ranger Badge.
- Icy Straight Point: Nothing booked, but depending on weather and what we feel like doing, either walk along the beach, take the Gondola then hike. If we have not seen whales by this point in our trip, we may consider doing whale watching. QUESTION: Are there options to book whale watching (through a reputable company) last minute? Any recommendations on who is good vs. who we should stay away from? We know we would pay more by not booking ahead….just hoping we’ll see enough whales without booking separate whale watching.
- Ketchikan: Traitor’s Cove with Island Wins, booked
After the cruise , we are going to stay an extra night in Vancouver, and likely go to Stanley Park, Granville Island and maybe Queen Elizabeth Park.
And if you made it all the way to my VERY long post, extra extra extra thank you. :-)
I also wouldn’t miss the Sealife center in Seward . :)

See Four Seasons' upcoming ultra-luxury cruise with a $350,000-a-week suite bigger than most homes
- Four Seasons says it will begin sailing an ultra-luxury yacht cruise in January 2026.
- The 222-guest vessel would have 95 spacious suites and 11 dining options — but food wouldn't be free.
- The largest suite would have four floors and bedrooms, a spa, and a price of $350,000 per sailing.
Four Seasons plans to expand its high-end hotels and resorts portfolio with a luxury 222-guest cruise ship.
The company says the 95-suite vessel will debut in January 2026 and cost a minimum of $20,000 per weeklong sailing.
For that price, the luxury hospitality giant says travelers would enjoy a one-to-one guest-to-staff ratio and massive suites spanning as many as four floors. If all goes as planned, the 679-foot-long Four Seasons I could become one of the most expensive and opulent options in the cruise industry.
The ultra-plush 14-deck Four Seasons I is scheduled for 19 voyages in 2026 to more than 130 Caribbean and Mediterranean ports.
Reservations opened two weeks ago. Those interested can register to join a waitlist or book through a travel agent.
So far, "sales have been very encouraging, and the demand is exciting to see," Thatcher Brown, chief commercial officer and head of joint operations for Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, told Business Insider in a statement. The company is a joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts.
Renderings make the Four Seasons I look as opulent as the brand's land-based properties.
Four Seasons says its vessel will have 95 suites ranging from 537 to 9,975 square feet, some with three bedrooms.
The smallest suite starts at $19,700 for a five-night roundtrip voyage to Athens, Greece.
No windowless interior cabins here: Like other ultra-luxe cruises, the suites would all have terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Customers could expect upscale amenities like a walk-in closet, down-filled duvets and pillows, and marble dual vanity bathrooms, per Four Seasons.
The most premium suites would also feature additional accommodations for "personal assistants," such as au pairs or security personnel.
Some options, like the 7,952-square-foot Loft Suite, could be adjoined with seven other cabins to accommodate up to 20 people.
Without connecting cabins, the Loft Suite would already have three bedrooms and bathrooms, a powder room, and a sauna.
Others, like the largest Funnel Suite, would have its own spa and kitchen.
Four Seasons says the 9,975-square-foot mansion, partially perched in the ship's glass-lined funnel , will span four floors, four bathrooms, three bedrooms, and three powder rooms.
Not to mention the private elevator, pool, and $350,000-a-voyage price tag.
Accommodations of this price and size are generally unheard of in the cruise industry.
Luxury operator Silversea says the largest suite on its upcoming 728-guest Silver Ray will be 1,324 square feet. Competitor Regent Seven Seas' new Seven Seas Grandeur debuted in 2023 with a more expansive six-guest 4,443-square-foot option.
Both suites' sizes and prices — Regent's starts at $42,000 per person for a total of $252,000 at maximum occupancy — would be stunted by Four Seasons' promise of a 9,975-square-foot, $350,000 floating mansion.
But cabins with six-digit prices aren't unheard of.
While not a luxury cruise line, Royal Caribbean's popular three-floor townhouse on the new Icon of the Seas is being booked at an average of $100,000 a week — although it's about four times smaller than Four Seasons' largest.
Royal Caribbean and other mass-market cruise lines are beloved, in part, for their unlimited complimentary food options.
Regent Seven Seas' all-inclusive fare also covers caviar, foie gras, and Champagne.
But don't expect any of these to be free on the Four Seasons I.
Breakfast would be complimentary. Lunch, dinner, and booze would not.
The vessel's 11 restaurants and lounges would be priced similarly to Four Seasons' on-land properties. (A dinner entrée at its resort on the Caribbean island of Nevis — also one of the ship's destinations — ranges from $34 to $163.)
The pricing structure may sound odd to most cruise traditionalists. (Hey, at least WiFi would be "free.")
But some of the ship's amenities could look familiar: Like most cruise liners, the Four Seasons I would have a pool, spa, and clubs for children and teens.
The company also promises a lounge and marina that will open onto the water, giving guests direct access to activities like snorkeling or windsurfing.
Four Seasons Yachts plans to take delivery of its $399 million vessel, now being built by famed Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, in late 2025.
A second Fincantieri-built ship would join the hospitality company's fleet the following year. The next vessel would cost more than 400 million euros, about $429.2 million, Four Seasons says.
This isn’t Four Seasons' first foray into itinerary-based vacations.
The company has also found "tremendous success" in its private jet-based "cruises," Alejandro Reynal, the president and CEO of Four Seasons, told BI in a statement.
Its 2024 vacation-by-air itineraries started at $135,000 for a 16-day Asia tour. Demand has been growing, he said, "signaling that luxury travelers are looking for immersive, exclusive, end-to-end travel journeys that allow them to explore the world with their favorite brands."
But its new ultra-luxe cruise arm would be entering an increasingly crowded luxury market, soon to be dominated by like-minded hospitality giants.
High-end Aman Resorts and Orient Express plan to launch their own luxury cruises in 2027 and 2026, respectively.
Staying ahead of the competition, Ritz-Carlton debuted its first 149-suite Evrima yacht cruise in 2021, with a second 224-cabin ship scheduled to begin sailing later this year. Its least expensive itinerary is currently $5,100 per person for a six-night voyage from Barbados to Puerto Rico in early 2025.
Interested in a hotelier-owned vacation at sea but don't want to pay the luxury price tag? Margaritaville's cruise is an affordable $75 for two nights.

We just got off a cruise and had the Cruise Night Coupon books. Pretty much the same as the books everyone used to get but don't unless their TA offers them. There's a first-night BOGO for the specialty restaurants, a coupon for a free bingo ticket, a gift for a cheap necklace at Effy and maybe one or two that someone else would find useful.
It's not combinable with other offers. Example: In the spa, we got 15% of for doing the service on a port day. This invalidated our 10% platinum discount and the coupon book discount. Same in the shops. We did get $10 in free play from the casino.
It was a coupon book designed to get you to buy something you didn't want or need by saving you a very minimal few dollars. It also was sent by email, so would need to print ahead, or make sure to have good internet before trying to use. Edited December 17, 2021 by iamaqt2. 3.
The CRUISE NIGHT COUPON BOOKS are similar to what we've received in the past, except for the 2 for 1 restaurant. The other booklet had coupons 10-15%, which I used to stack with the 10% elite discount, and it came in really handy when buying hundreds of dollars worth the cosmetics. For me, that coupon was worth more than a $29 free dinner.
Montana. #21. Posted May 12, 2018. This is the most worthless coupon of all. Anybody, with or without the coupon, can purchase an FCD and get (up to) $150 on that next cruise. By the way, $150 is if you book a suite for 17 days or more. A five-day cruise in an inside cabin is good for $15.
I am an elite passenger and for the first time ever my reservation reads that hubby and I are each getting cruise night coupon books. what are these? In the past, we use to get coupon books with stuff for the stores (raffles) and sometimes something for the casino. But it was never printed on our...

Hi, We are booked on our second Princess cruise in March, going from San Francisco to Victoria and Vancouver. One of our perks is a "cruise night coupon book". We've never heard of that and I cannot find anything about it on this forum.
Just saw on my travel summary that we'll be getting two "Cruise Night Coupon Books". Can anyone tell me what's in them?
We are receiving cruise night coupon books for our b2b cruises in Nov. What are they, where are they when we board? Is it an actual coupon book, is it in the app? Thanks for any info.

2. Moscow St. Basil's Cathedral. Moscow's St. Basil's Cathedral, located on the Red Square, is simply not possible to pass by. Deservedly, St. Basil's is one the most beautiful and attractive viewpoints both because of its history and ornate exteriors. The stunning cathedral was built in the 16th century to honor Vasily the Blessed.

Normally the boats sail between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. although there are also companies that offer night cruises with dinner included. I recommend that you take advantage of the afternoons for a boat tour, when the monuments and museums are closed. Going on a night cruise to see the Moscow city lights is also a very good option.
