About JCC Princeton Mercer Bucks & Abrams Camps

Since 1911, the JCC has served as a welcoming hub for the community, dedicated to enhancing Jewish life for all ages through engaging social, cultural, recreational programs and services.

The JCC Princeton Mercer Bucks (JCC PMB) and JCC Abrams Camps is located on a stunning scenic 10 acre property in East Windsor, NJ. In the summer time, our JCC Abrams Day Camp & Teen Travel (PreK - 10th) grades offers a premier exciting full day camping program with over 25 specialist & elective areas in Aquatics, Sports, Performing Arts, Creative Arts, Outdoor Adventure, Woodworking, Nature & STEM, Jewish Values & more! Our JCC is a place where people from all background and interests can come together in a warm and welcoming environment.

It’s Open House Week!

Summer camp, exciting days filled with adventure and learning.

Our summer camp program is available to all children — campers don’t have to be enrolled in a Lightbridge Academy year-round program to join in the fun. It provides a safe, structured environment perfect for building new friendships, learning through exploration and enjoying the days of summer!

Keep your child active

This program is designed to keep children moving, enjoying the great outdoors and exploring their creativity, while providing parents with the peace of mind they need.

New themes every week

Every week has a unique theme to keep our campers engaged and entertained. One week they may be exploring the Wild West and creating stick horses to ride … the next they are a mad scientist with STREAM experiments and bubbling volcanos … or clowning around and preparing their own carnival.

The perfect first summer day camp experience!

Lightbridge Academy campers will enjoy a fun, safe and structured camp experience. Your child will make new friends, learn important life skills, enjoy adventures, and create many memories! We learn through play with engaging lesson plans focused on expanding academic knowledge, as well as social-emotional growth. Our program is based on Common Core State Standards to achieve age-appropriate goals.

Parents will enjoy peace of mind with the Lightbridge Promise, which includes enhanced health & safety standards, an advanced air purification & filtration system, and our extended hours will cover your every need, we can even take care of lunch and snacks!

Your child is experiencing big changes in kindergarten, and you’ll want to closely follow his or her progress. Lightbridge Academy offers many programs to facilitate open and direct communication with your child’s teachers that you simply won’t find anywhere else. Additionally, we offer other helpful conveniences to provide you peace of mind and help simplify your life as a busy working parent..

Flexible Schedules

There are many different schedules available to accommodate your needs — book the entire summer or just a few weeks. Choose a schedule that covers an extended-day, full-day or another option that work best for you.

Peace of Mind

Our Summer Camp is staffed with members of our Lightbridge Academy team, all of whom are experienced with young children, CPR and first-aid certified, and meet all state licensing requirements for mandatory background checks.

Options for Lunch

Children will enjoy nutritious snacks as part of the summer camp program. However, it is your option to pack your child’s lunch or choose one of our delicious Meal Plan options.

JCC ABRAMS CAMPS AND TEEN TRAVEL has been serving the greater Princeton Mercer Bucks Community for 60 years. JCC Abrams Camps was founded on and celebrates the principles of Jewish values, culture and traditions.

OUR GOAL is to provide a safe, fun filled camp experience for youth and teens. Our highly trained and compassionate staff enables each camper to grow in an atmosphere, which promotes integrity, self-esteem, positive values, and good sportsmanship.

OUR BELIEF is that campers of all ages and diverse backgrounds will walk away from their summer experience with their lives significantly impacted from learning life-skills and making new friends in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment.

Campers per Session

Staff to camper ratio, lunch provided, transportation provided, swim instruction, dietary needs, meet the director.

Wendy Soos is an accredited ACA Camp Director. Together with her camp's Leadership Team, her goal is to provide youth and teen with the single best Jewish Day Camp experience. A summer of self-discovery all while feeling safe, respected and loved. Camp traditions are created and life-long friendships are made that will forever change them.

Registration now open for east windsor summer camp, the east windsor recreation department hosts summer camps for students entering grades 1 through 6..

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Registration for summer camp is now open.

The East Windsor Recreation Department hosts summer camps for students entering Grades 1 through 6, the township said Friday morning.

The Explorer Camp is designed for campers entering Grades 1 and 2, and the Adventure Camp is designed for campers entering Grades 3, 4, 5 and 6.

A 2017 Travel Camp is offered for campers entering Grades 6 through 9. Campers entering 5th Grade who participated in Travel Camp last season are also welcome to register.

Camp Care for before and after care of campers is also available for an additional fee.

We are excited to announce that Summer Fun Camp is back for 2021!

Registration will open on Monday, May 3rd. We highly recommend updating your household account on our website ( www.EastWindsorRec.com ) to ensure you are ready to go prior to the opening of registration on Monday! New families can also create an account at www.EastWindsorRec.com .

Due to COVID regulations, we will be making a few operational changes for the 2021 Season:

-Camp will be open to children Ages 4-10

NOTICE: Due to the everchanging nature of the pandemic, East Windsor Parks & Recreation reserves the right to adjust programs and services as deemed necessary to ensure the health and safety of all participants and staff.
