The singer-songwriter will kick off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her recent Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift will release her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, so the Swiftie hype will continue this spring.

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options . You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift international tour dates

The Eras Tour international dates resume on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. Multiple shows have age restrictions for younger kids and specifics on seating and adult accompaniment. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table. 

Taylor Swift North American tour dates

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows, Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

How to buy tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 tour

Original standard tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 sold out long ago for both international and domestic dates. All US tickets and many international tickets were sold through Ticketmaster , although select international locations used different services. 

Tickets for most dates are available on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . These are generally higher-priced than the originals, which are no longer available. Keep in mind that some countries have rules regarding reselling tickets.

On StubHub, UK tour dates come with a note that ticket terms don't permit resale through unauthorized channels and might not be valid for entry. If this ends up being the case, StubHub notes that its FanProtect Guarantee will cover purchasers.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date and location. International resale tickets tend to be a bit cheaper than US resale tickets. It's worth noting that some of the cheapest tickets have restricted views.

StubHub's cheapest European tickets range from $311 (Madrid, Spain, on May 29) to £916 (London, England on August 19). The latter is around $1,139 in USD. The lowest prices for most shows are around $450 to $1,000. On Vivid Seats , the cheapest tickets for these dates go for $455 and $819, respectively. 

When it comes to North American shows, the cheapest StubHub tickets range from $1,228 (Vancouver, Canada, on December 8) to $2,125 (Indianapolis, Indiana on November 1). Most of the cheapest tickets are priced between $1,200 and $2,000. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets on these dates start at $1,249 and $1,995, respectively. The two resale vendors generally have similarly priced offerings, but this varies from show to show.

The concert is already about 3 hours and 15 minutes long, so it might be hard to add a full era to the setlist, but the surprise song portion of the show allows for some wiggle room. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Sales in France Halted on Ticketmaster

UPDATED: Ticketmaster France posted the following note several hours after ticket sales were paused on Tuesday (translated): “The onsale date and time for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in France is being rescheduled and tickets are still available. This morning’s sale was disrupted by an issue with a third-party provider and they are working to resolve this matter as soon as possible. As soon as we saw fans experiencing issues, queues were paused. All codes that were not used to purchase tickets today will remain valid. Fans previously selected to participate in the onsale will be notified directly of the new onsale date and time. “

Ticketmaster said on Twitter that “The Taylor Swift sale | The 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold.” The ticketing website added that it will keep people “posted with a new on-sale time as soon as possible.” It also said that “all codes not already used will remain valid.” An hour later, the Lyon show received a similar notice .

The issue appears to stem from a technical glitch on Ticketmaster causing people to be unable to log into the website with their passwords. At one point, there were more than 700,000 fans in the queue to purchase tickets.

Swift is slated to perform in Paris at La Défense Arena on May 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2024 and Lyon on June 2-3, as part of the Eras Tour international run. Her global trek is expected to become the first tour in the history of the business to gross a billion dollars, according to a recent report by Pollstar, which is estimating that the final gross will wind up around $1.4 billion.

The technical difficulties call back to the first day Swift’s Eras Tour went on sale in the U.S. , which resulted in delays, skyrocketing prices and cancellations of ticket sales. Ticketmaster then canceled the public on-sale date entirely, as all the shows completely sold out.

Taylor Just Extended Her Eras Tour Again With 2 New Dates

Swfities, this is not a drill: Taylor Swift has extended her Eras Tour again . After recently adding an additional show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, along with a ton of international dates across Europe, Asia, and Australia, the Midnights singer has tagged on even more shows. This was already the singer’s largest tour to date, and it keeps on getting bigger and bigger. With so many stops, this is the opportunity for Swifties everywhere to live out their Eras dreams.

On Aug. 3, Swift announced a mini-U.S. and Canada leg of her tour on Instagram. Specifically, between mid-October and November 2024, the singer will visit cities in Florida, Louisiana, Indiana, and Ontario across 15 dates. “Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era,” she wrote in the post. She also shared that Gracie Abrams, who served as an opener for the tour this summer, will return for these dates.

But it didn’t end there. On Nov. 2, Swift’s team revealed an additional three dates in Vancouver on Dec. 6, 7, and 8. And just a few days later, Swift added two more dates in London on Aug. 19 and 20. These final dates mean the Eras Tour will run until nearly the end of 2024.

These exciting additions follow another round of new dates. On June 27, Swift announced she included a new show at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. This addition (which fell on Aug. 7) extended her once five-night stay at the iconic venue to six. She then added eight more dates for the European leg of the tour, lengthening her appearance in cities such as Warsaw, Munich, London, Vienna, Hamburg, Paris, Stockholm, and Zurich in 2024.

Just a few days later, Swift announced another 14 new dates for the European Eras Tour, extending her weekends in major cities like Paris, London, Dublin, and more to include an extra concert. She also revealed Paramore would be the opening act for these new dates.

Before that, she announced her international roster of Eras show. “EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY. I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!” Swift wrote on Instagram . These new dates will see Swift and new opener, Sabrina Carpenter , trekking through cities such as Tokyo, Melbourne, Paris, and Milan from February to August 2024. As seen in the multi-colored tour poster, this six-month excursion will follow the end of her Latin American leg of the tour, which stars Sabrina Carpenter as the opener. Clearly, Swift’s booked and busy.

Swift first announced her Eras Tour on Good Morning America in November 2022. There, she shared the gig would include music from her entire 10-album discography, including her record-breaking Midnights project.

“I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time. I’ve been planning for ages and I finally get to tell you. I’m going back on tour,” Swift said on Good Morning America last year. “The tour is called The Eras Tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

Since then, the singer has performed hidden and popular gems from all her eras, and released her re-recorded versions of Speak Now on July 7 and 1989 on Oct. 27.

According to Today , the site — which fell in hot water after Swifties infamously crashed their site when trying to buy tickets — adopted a new process that requires fans to pre-register for the tour’s pre- and general sales.

Registration is currently open for the three newest concert dates. Fans can access the registration for selected dates on Ticketmaster or Swift’s official website . This added step reportedly signs fans up to receive additional information about their selected tour date and location.

Swifties are eagerly awaiting the resumption of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour.”

After a two-month break, the pop star will hit the stage again in Nanterre, France, for four concerts - May 9 , May 10 , May 11 and May 12 at Paris La Defense Arena.

Her next album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” is scheduled to be released on Friday, April 19.

May 17, 18 and 19 the “Cruel Summer” singer will be in Stockholm, Sweden, followed by concerts in Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Austria and Wembley Stadium in London through Aug. 20.

The “ Eras Tour ” is heading to Paris, France starting Thursday, May 9.

Taylor Swift will embark on four international dates in Paris following her 52-date, 17-state-wide U.S. and abroad tour . The Paris tour dates will wrap up on May 12.

Ticketmaster Pauses Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Sale in France

Fans trying to purchase tickets to six of the pop superstar’s concerts faced long queues and technical issues before the company said that a new on-sale time would be announced.

Ticketmaster has once again cracked under the weight of a Taylor Swift ticket sale — this time in France.

As French fans prepared on Tuesday to purchase tickets to six concerts in May and June 2024 on Swift’s Eras Tour —  four shows in Paris, two in Lyon — Ticketmaster’s website displayed a gigantic queue of customers ready to buy; one screenshot appeared to tell a fan that 1,023,504 shoppers were in line ahead of them.

Soon, Ticketmaster announced that sales for those shows had been placed on “pause.” The company said that a new on-sale time would be announced, and that “all codes not already used will remain valid.” But some fans’ social media posts seemed to show technical errors on Ticketmaster’s website, including a progress icon that “keeps spinning and spinning and spinning,” as one fan — speaking English with an American accent, but with 762 euros’ worth of tickets in their shopping cart — put it.

A few hours later, the French branch of Ticketmaster offered some more detail on social media, blaming the problem on a “third-party provider” that the company did not identify, and adding that tickets were still available. A representative of Live Nation Entertainment, Ticketmaster’s corporate parent, said that the provider works with Ticketmaster only in France.

The situation in France appeared to be a frustrating repeat of the problems that plagued Swift’s North American presale in November, when an influx of millions of fans — and bots — overwhelmed Ticketmaster’s systems, and fans reported issues like tickets in their shopping carts disappearing before they could be purchased. Ticketmaster shut down its public sale as a result, though the company also said it had sold more than two million tickets to the tour in a single day.

Problems like those at Swift’s presale in November — as well as long-simmering concerns over Ticketmaster and Live Nation’s market dominance — led to a brutal Senate Judiciary hearing in January. Senators from both parties flatly called the company a monopoly and were skeptical of an executive’s explanation that Ticketmaster was unable to defend itself against an onslaught of bots during Swift’s presale.

“This is unbelievable,” Senator Marsha Blackburn, Republican of Tennessee, said at the hearing. “Why is it,” she added, “that you have not developed an algorithm to sort out what is a bot and what is a consumer?”

Yet the demand for Swift tickets has been extraordinary, with Swift selling out stadiums everywhere she plays and tickets going for thousands of dollars on the secondary market. She is scheduled to complete the North American leg of her tour next month, then play in Latin America, Asia and Europe.

The Justice Department has separately been conducting an antitrust investigation of Live Nation. The Justice Department has not confirmed that investigation, but Live Nation’s chief executive, Michael Rapino, has spoken about it openly.

Taylor Swift fans get Ticketmaster shut down again

The company paused ticket sales for Swift's Eras Tour in France. It feels like we've heard this one before.

The new era of Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour looks a lot like the last era. It involves fans struggling to get their hands on tickets when shows go on sale.

Swift has planned six Eras Tour dates in France — four concerts in Paris and two in Lyon — but when tickets went on sale Tuesday, Ticketmaster was quickly overwhelmed and paused sales.

"The 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold. We will keep you posted with a new on-sale time as soon as possible," the company announced on Twitter . It added that "all codes not already used will remain valid."

Just over an hour after fans were stymied by the Paris on-sale, fans attempting to buy tickets for shows in Lyon were greeted with a similar message .

Hours after the halt to ticket sales, Ticketmaster posted an update . "Ticket sales for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in France is postponed and tickets are still available. This morning's sale was disrupted by an issue with a third-party vendor who is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible," it said, as translated from French by Twitter. "As soon as we saw fans having problems, the queues were put on hold. Any codes not used to purchase tickets today will remain valid. Fans previously selected to participate in the on-sale will be notified directly of the new on-sale date and time."

The message from Ticketmaster likely did little to ease frustrations for fans — at one point more than 700,000 people were in the ticket queue, according to Variety — but it does indicate that the shows have not been canceled. The "Shake It Off" singer is scheduled to perform at Le Défense Arena in Paris on May 9-12, 2024. She will follow that up with performances in Lyon on June 2 and 3, 2024. (Yes, that is still the Eras Tour, which is scheduled to run through August 2024 shows in London .)

The ordeal in France is reminiscent of when the Eras Tour went on sale in the U.S. There was a cascade of problems, including delays, enormous prices, ticket cancellations, crashed web pages, and even lawsuits .

At that time, Swift said , "There are a multitude of reasons why people had such a hard time trying to get tickets and I'm trying to figure out how this situation can be improved moving forward. I'm not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked them, multiple times if they could handle this kind of demand and we were assured they could. It's truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them."

Eras Tour: Taylor Swift visits Paris La Défense Arena, France

The 34-year-old love song composer, Taylor Swift, is set to make her debut appearance in Paris, “The City of Love,” France, on the 9 th of May, for the Eras Tour 2024 leg. May 9 th will be the first time France hosts the “Invisible String” Singer, and the Eras Tour since it started in March 2023.

The Eras Tour has been a life-changing tour for Taylor Swift, and her fans. Including people who are connected to her, like her lover, Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs Football star who experienced massive sales due to Swifties showing support for their idol, Taylor Swift.

As the popularity of Taylor Swift precedes her, getting tickets to her Eras Tour concerts is gradually becoming a hectic process, leaving unlucky fans heartbroken by the fact that they couldn’t get access to the concert venue since they lack tickets because of the overwhelming demands usually met with every available ticket.

Act 1 is built upon Taylor Swift’s 7 th Studio album, “Lover,” released by the singer in 2019. Upon its release, “Lover” climbed up to  No.5 on French Albums. To show her appreciation to her fans in Paris for their support during its release, Taylor will perform 6 songs from “Lover.”

This includes  the popular “Lover,” amongst other globally recognised songs like “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince.” “Cruel Summer,” is also on the setlist, alongside “The Man,” with “You Need to Calm Down,” and “The Archer” closing the “Lover” Era.

Her 2 nd act will then take her fans way back to when she was still taking baby steps in the music industry.

Taylor Swift’s 2 nd act in the Eras Tour setlist is built upon her 2 nd studio album, since the start of her career, “Fearless.” Unlike “Lover,” Fearless has just 3 songs in the Eras Tour setlist, solidifying that the Eras Tour is more about love, which makes it perfect for the Swifties in Paris.

When Taylor puts up her 2 nd act, expect the performance of “Fearless,” “You Belong to Me,” and also, “Love Story.”

The arrangement of the songs has some magic to it. It represents a person in love, but one who is totally in control of the situation. The arrangement also represents the stages of falling in love. At first, you’re Fearless. And then you begin to want that person to be yours and yours alone. When that is certain, you two go on to write your love story.

There may not be enough songs from “Fearless,” but the 3 we got are enough to represent the Eras Tour in Paris when Taylor comes.

Taylor’s 3 rd act in the Eras Tour is based on her 9 th Studio album, “Evermore,” which was released in 2020. The album upon its release topped charts in some parts of Europe, like the UK Albums Charts, where it was at No.1 for more than 2 weeks after its release, that is aside from other charts that it topped, like the US Billboard 200 chart.

Altogether, “Evermore” contributed 5 songs to the Eras Tour Setlist. The 4 th song added in Act 3 from “Evermore” is, “Champaign Problem.” Taylor Swift has shown to have a special place in her heart for “Champaign Problem.”

Going through Taylor Swift’s relationship timeline, you’ll realise why “Champaign Problem” drives everyone’s emotions to another level whenever she performs it. Taylor hasn’t been lucky in her love life, and her fans know this. Most of the time, her prince charming isn’t who he claims to be. Even though “Champaign Problem” tells the story from a different perspective, it isn’t far off from how her love life always plays out.

Act 4 is based on Taylor Swift’s 6 th Studio album, “Reputation.” The album was released in 2017 and it features some of the bangers we now have in the Eras Tour setlist.

When the time comes for Taylor to go into her 4 th act for the night, expect “Delicate” to be on the list and also, “Look What You Made Me Do.”

The amazing thing about the Eras Tour is that Taylor Swift has managed to keep up with the outstanding performance of every act, regardless of how many times she has had to do each one since the Eras Tour began in March 2023.

But that shouldn’t surprise you, especially if you know how much effort Taylor has put into making the Eras Tour the best in her career so far. Plus, the welcome “Look What You Made Me Do” received when Taylor dropped the music video on her YouTube channel, also certified its position in the Eras Tour setlist. The video has more than 1.5 billion views on YouTube. That is an insane number of views, to state the least.

Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now” is her 5 th act in the Eras Tour and it contributes just one song to the setlist of the Eras tour, and that is, “Enchanted.” “Enchanted” tells a sad love story, where the love fakes everything just to be with her lover.

The lyrics carry regret, that the love knows pretending doesn’t make sense, but she’s doing it nonetheless just to be with her enchanting lover. And so, a line in the song goes, “All I can say is, it was enchanting to meet you.”

In the same way, Paris, the city of love, is enchanting. All the songs selected in each of Taylor Swift’s eras match the energy needed in Paris to make one’s experience of Paris befitting. Safe to say, everyone who will make it to the Paris La Défense Arena, starting on the 9 th of May, to the 12 th of the same month, will never view Paris the same way again after the tour.

Luckily for the Swifties in France, Taylor Swift will return to France again after her May visit. After she finishes her 4-day show in Paris, Taylor will visit Sweden, Portugal, and Spain. Then take the Eras Tour back to France, spending 2-days in Décines-Charpieu, performing in the Groupama Stadium.

Her first upcoming tour stop will kick off at the Paris La Defense Arena in Nanterre, France, on May 9.

The “Anti-Hero” singer will return to the States to perform in the U.S. and Canada — including New Orleans, Toronto and Miami — beginning in this fall . Swifties got a chance to score presale tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program last summer .

The Eras Tour , Swift’s first tour in five years, was announced in November 2022. Presale tickets for the tour went on sale via Ticketmaster that month. Another batch of presale tickets for her 2024 tour stops in Vancouver and new tickets for Australia and Sweden went on sale late last year.

Swift partnered with Capital One on exclusive tickets available for Capital One cardholders. As can be expected, passes to see Swift live remain one of the hottest concert tickets on the market, so we’re breaking down what you need to know so you can secure a seat.

How Much Do Last-Minute Eras Tour Tickets Cost?

Resale tickets for The Eras Tour are currently available online for concerts in France, Germany, Portugal, Spain and other locations.

How much are last-minute tickets? There’s more than one way to score Eras Tour tickets, but expect to spend at least a few hundred bucks on a ticket, depending on the seats and date of the show.

Fans can find last-minute tickets to The Eras Tour at StubHub and Viagogo . Prices range from approximately $300 to more than $1,800 for her concert in Nanterre on May 9. You’ll find cheaper tickets for later dates on the tour such as shows in Australia (tickets are available at StubHub for as low as $216 for select dates, but you’ll have to do some digging to find the cheapest prices).

Swift will perform in France from May 9 to 12, and Sweden starting on May 17 . Tickets are scarce and selling fast — especially in the last hour (over 50,000 people were looking at tickets when we last checked). The Eras Tour will make its way to Spain, Sweden, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Poland, the U.K. and more countries before circling back to the U.S.

Tickets for next year’s North American leg are currently available at StubHub , Vivid Seats and Seat Geek , although pricing ranges from around $1,000 and up, most of the tickets are around $1,200+ at StubHub. For fans who want to catch Swift’s opening night in Miami on October 18 , tickets prices are currently spiking to more than $1,600 .

Looking for the cheapest tickets ? Searching different sites will give you a better chance of landing tickets at a lower price point, but we did some of the digging for you.

At press time, tickets to the shows in France start at around $300 , although most of the in-demand tickets are priced in the $450-$600 range at StubHub , which is around the same prices that you might find on sites such as Ticketsmarter .

The Eras Tour is a celebration of all 10 of the studio albums Swift has released since 2006. The massively successful tour has raked in over $1 billion . But with the launch of a new album era, it’s unclear if Swift will incorporate any of her new music into the tour.

In 2022, Swift shared a poster advertising the tour’s initial 27-date U.S. leg on Instagram featuring a collage of photos of herself through the years, from the time of her self-titled debut to  Midnights , which dropped less than two weeks prior to the tour news.

“I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time. I’ve been planning for ages and I finally get to tell you: I’m going back on tour,” Swift said on  GMA , announcing the news. “The tour is called the Eras tour and it’s a journey through all of the musical eras of my career.”

Traveling to see Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour in 2024? Luckily, she’s headed to a bunch of badass places that happen to be outdoor-adventure meccas, too. Make the most of your fan-filled trip by adding these must-dos to your itinerary, all synced up with international and domestic dates on The Eras Tour’s 2024 schedule .

My wife and I flew to Chicago last June to see our favorite artist in concert, and had such a good time we almost immediately bought tickets to the next show we could find, which happened to be in Lyon, France, in June. Talking about getting tickets to a Taylor Swift show would take up an entire article on its own—it’s famously difficult and most easily navigated if, like us, you’re a super fan. But, if you are currently holding tickets for a future concert, that’s exciting, since it may be a reason to explore a part of the world you’ve never seen before.

Why Taylor? I was obviously introduced to her music through my wife (and sister-in-law), but it’s hard not to find stuff to like in her catchy, cleverly-written songs about female empowerment. If nothing else, standing in a stadium alongside tens of thousands of young women having the best night of their lives is something that’s hard to walk away from without having a good time.

Eras Tour Paris and Lyon, France

Show Dates: May 9 – 12 (Paris); June 2 and 3 (Lyon)

Flying all the way to Paris just to see Taylor would probably be worth it on its own, but because we’re going there at the nicest time of year, we figure we should make the most of it. So, we’ve booked a few nights at our favorite hotel on Île Saint-Louis, plan to visit my parents at their farm near Limoges, and will then rendezvous with family and friends in Lyon for the concert, plus a few nights of gorging ourselves on that city’s  famous culinary scene. After all that, we’ll be ready for some exercise.

A few years ago, we took the opportunity on a similar trip to visit France’s Écrin National Park, and spent two days backpacking through its high alpine backcountry . There, we slept under a 500-foot waterfall, watched wild ibex and chamois frolic while golden eagles soared overhead, and were positively swarmed by marmots. The best part? We saw zero other people. Compare the park’s 800,000 annual visitors to the 4 million who visit Yellowstone , and you can see why, with a little hiking, it’s not hard to find yourself a slice of the French Alps you can call your own for a night or two. And we’ll return to the park after June’s concert in order to recreate the experience.

If you want to do the same, the easiest way to make it work is by backpacking, and bringing what you would for any high-elevation summer trip . You’ll need to rent a car (either drive from Paris, or take the train to a nearby city), but as compensation for that additional expense, you’ll get to drive in the Alps, which includes some of the most fun and visually stunning roads in the world. (There will be no need to travel off-road, so a small, sporty car is fine.) Leave your nice clothes in the trunk, out of sight, and make sure you throw your passport and wallet into your pack while you camp—vehicle break-ins are a problem at trailheads in Europe, just like they are in America .

We like to stay another night in Paris before we fly out. Since driving in the city is a nightmare, I return the rental car to the airport on our way back into the city, then take the metro (RER) into town. While planning your route, don’t forget how small Europe is. On that same trip, we popped into Italy for lunch after hiking back to the car, and still made it into Paris in time to shower and head to a fancy dinner.

Eras Tour Stockholm, Sweden

Show Dates: May 17-19

If you have tickets to see Taylor in Stockholm this May, you’re making me jealous. Late spring in Sweden is gorgeous. Take advantage of the spring weather by getting on the water. Get Out Kayak will rent you boats and other equipment, or take you on a guided tour of some of the 30,000 islands on the archipelago. Day trips start at under $95-a-person. Like other nordic countries, Sweden has a right to roam law that enables you to explore most wild places, so if you have time, rent camping gear from Get Out too, and enjoy a night under the stars on one of those islands.

Eras Tour Lisbon, Portugal

Show Dates: May 24-25

Portugal’s Atlantic coast is famous for its big waves. Even if you don’t surf, head over to watch people ride the famously huge waves in Nazare. More accessible (read: easier) surf can be found in nearby Coxos. Tours, lessons, and gear are available from Lisbon Surf Connection . A day trip to Nazare costs $60-a-person if you just want to watch, while a rental board and wetsuit can be had for about $38.

Eras Tour Madrid, Spain

Show Dates: May 29-30

It’s going to start getting hot in Madrid in late May. The 125-acre El Retiro park in the city center is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and includes expansive shaded gardens and a pond you can row boats in.

On the west side of the Manzanares river, you’ll find the even larger, 3,800-acre Casa de Campo. Use the city’s bike share service, Bicimad , and pedal under the pine trees. Rates run just 50 cents per half-hour.

Eras Tour Edinburgh, Scotland

Show Dates: June 7-9

June in the Scottish Highlands may be marked by as much as one or two hours of clear skies. Pack rain gear and hike to the most remote pub in the countr y, which is 18 miles one way. Food at The Old Forge , in the Knoydart Peninsula, is said to be better than is typical in the country, but there’s no accommodations to spend the night. Rather than carry heavy camping gear, we’d rent a room or house in the nearby village . You’ll appreciate having a roof over your head and a place to dry out your socks. Just make sure you book ahead of time.

Eras Tour Liverpool, England

Show Dates: June 13-15

The neatest thing about northwest England is the canals. Built before the advent of rail to connect British industry with ports sailing to America and elsewhere, the canals are now almost-forgotten byways that wind their way through the pastoral English countryside. You can stay on a canal boat in downtown Liverpool  (or plenty of places elsewhere), hike or bike paths that run along them, or rent canoes or kayaks to paddle them starting at under $40-a-day.

Eras Tour Cardiff, Wales

Show Date: June 18

Once there, skip town and make the drive to the Cwm Gwdi trailhead for Pen y Fan, which at 2,910 feet is the tallest peak in the Brecon Beacons. Don’t worry, all road signs are in English, too. The United Kingdom’s Special Air Service famously conducts its selection trials on the mountain, but the 7.5-mile hike to the summit from Cwm Gwdi is much easier than their 22-mile trek. Don’t be fooled by the sub-3,000 foot elevation, terrain on Pen y Fan can be treacherous and Wales isn’t famous for its sunshine.

Eras Tour London, England

Show Dates: June 21-24; August 15-20

Take the tube out to Richmond and walk up the hill to Richmond Park, making sure you walk up the terrace for the views over the Thames. You can hike the park’s 7-mile trail that follows the perimeter while watching the 600 plus head of red and fallow deer that, unlike wildlife in the U.S., belong solely to the King. Head back down to town for a pint at The Prince’s Head , and make sure you entertain the locals with your best Ted Lasso impression.

Eras Tour Dublin, Ireland

Show Dates: June 28-30

Get away from the hokey tourist attractions (think: the Blarney Stone) and drive the two hours   over to Galway on the west coast to hike the Cliffs of Moher. The most popular route runs 12 miles between the scenic villages of Liscannor and Doolin . You know what I’m about to say: pack rain gear and waterproof boots.

Eras Tour Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Show Dates: July 4-6

Rent a stand up paddle board from Canal SUP (from $16-a-day)   and see the city from its most famous attraction. Amsterdam is also famous for its cycling. There’s plenty of places to rent one, or you can take advantage of the city’s bike share program for about $5-a-day.

Eras Tour Zürich, Switzerland

You’ll be 30 miles from the Swiss Alps , some of the most beautiful mountains on earth. Rent a car and drive into them, where virtually any activity is possible. From mountain biking to via ferrata to paragliding, you won’t go wrong. Heck, just driving around is about as good as it gets, too. For a basecamp check out Camping Arolla , the highest campground in the country. There, you can rent accommodation (glamping tents start at $118-a-night) or bring your own tent or camper. Parking spots start under $10-a-night).  

Eras Tour Milan, Italy

Show Dates: July 13-14

Rent a car (or preferably a motorcycle) and drive up to Lake Como. There, take one of the car ferry routes across the lake at sundown. For just a few bucks, you’ll get views Lake Como regular George Clooney might be jealous of. My favorite town on the lake is Mandello del Lario. Home to the world’s oldest motorcycle factory, you can tour Moto Guzzi headquarters , or simply enjoy the town’s working class heritage to enjoy an honest, affordable meal. Bring your hiking shoes and take the 5.6 mile loop up to Alp d’Era for stunning mountain views.

Eras Tour Hamburg, Germany

Show Dates: July 23-24

Taking a rowboat (from $16-an-hour ) across the Alster Lakes is the definitive experience here, but Hamburg is also a great place to cycle. The city’s StadtRAD bike share program is everywhere and costs only 12 Euros per day.

Eras Tour Munich, Germany

Show Dates: July 27-28

Most people visit Munich to drink beer, but you can also do that after hiking. Germany’s highest peak, Zugspitze, stands 9,718 feet tall, and takes most of the day just to climb the 14 miles, let alone descend. A faster option is the cable car (tickets are about $67 per-person), and you can also take a classic cog-wheel train for the same price to the plateau, about halfway up, where many shorter hikes are available.

Eras Tour Warsaw, Poland

Did you know that Warsaw is home to stunning river beaches ? Located on the Vistula river, you can sunbathe, swim, or even enjoy a campfire. And visiting one won’t take you too far from the city’s stunning architecture and many historic castles.

Eras Tour Vienna, Austria

Show Dates: August 9-10

Vienna maintains 14 excellent hiking trails right inside the city. The free Vienna Hiking Passport contains all the maps and information you’ll need, and you can fill it with stamps collected from each route. Earn all 14, and the city will   reward you with a commemorative pin.

Vienna is better known for its many spas . So you can unwind after all those hikes in a thermal pool or with a good massage. Therme Wien is the largest thermal pool in the city, day passes start at $22.

Eras Tour Miami, Florida

Show Dates: October 18-19

October is hurricane season in Florida, so I’d travel armed with backup plans. I’d also take the opportunity to go see the Everglades before they’re destroyed by climate change. There’s all sorts of ways you can do that, from self guided tours of the national park, to guided boat experiences. But if it was me, I’d help out with local conservation efforts by booking a guided python hunt. The species is invasive, and kills just about every native species of wildlife there is, and the hunting season is open year-round. You don’t even need to know how to shoot or hold a hunting license if all you want to do is tag along as locals catch their own. A night with the Python Huntress goes for $1,800 for a group of three. Plus, you’ll get to experience Florida culture at its finest.

Eras Tour New Orleans, Louisiana

Show Dates: October 25-27

Sure, y0u can visit to eat and drink like everyone else does, but New Orleans is another swamp town, and the best way to spend time in that unique environment in a or kayak. A three-hour kayak tour of the bayou can be had for as little as $65 per-person. You can also fish for speckled trout in Lake Ponchartrain on your own; the cooler weather in October starts getting them active. Or, head to the marsh to catch redfish on a fly with a guide for $805-a-day, per-boat.

Eras Tour Indianapolis, Indiana

Show Dates: November 1-3

Indianapolis isn’t exactly a mountain town. So if you want to have an adventure, you’ll need to get creative. Indy Acres offers four different outdoor paintball fields, with both public events and private rentals available. Games are run seven days a week, and start at just $28 per-person, including equipment rental.  Nearby Parke County is also famous for its covered bridges , boasting 31 total. Those would make a great day-long driving tour. Hiking trails are available in Fort Harrison State Park. I’d take the 4-mile Lawrence Creek Trail , which will offer the best odds for solitude. There should be plenty of fall colors left in early November.

Eras Tour Toronto, Canada

Show Dates: November 14-23

Add a few nights to your trip before or after the concert, and head to a cottage on one of the 250,000 lakes   north of the city. It’s the definitive Ontario activity. Fall on the lakes is particularly beautiful, and you’ll be getting dustings of snow by November. Make sure you rent a winterized cabin and pack warm clothes. Look for cabins in Muskoka or Georgian Bay if it’s your first time, those areas enjoy more facilities and services than more rural climes.

Eras Tour Vancouver, Canada

Show Dates: December 6-8

December is stormy in Vancouver. Sure, you could chase some early season snow in the nearby mountains, but I’d head for nearby Vancouver Island, and the many hotels and cabins located on its pacific coast. There, you can take in full might of the ocean, while staying safe inside facilities that run from basic to ultra luxury. The most famous hotel on the island is Wickaninnish Inn, where rooms during storm season start at $400-a-night. I’ve never not seen orcas on the ferry ride over.

There’s no time like the present, Swifties.

On April 19, Taylor Swift dropped her 11th studio album “The Tortured Poet’s Department.” As expected, the 34-year-old singer-songwriter became the internet’s main character.

Some raved about the sprawling, ambitious double album; others criticized the record for its length, subject matter and lyrics.

Paramore  will play alongside Swift after mounting a massive 2023 tour of their own. The group, fronted by lead singer Hayley Williams, reunited in 2022 after a five-year hiatus. For fans that want to check out their latest, you can listen to “This Is Why,” their sixth studio album, which dropped in February 2023.

Gracie Abrams , the daughter of film director JJ Abrams and producer Katie McGrath, is a star in her own right. Her song “I miss you, I’m sorry” has upwards of 100 million streams on Spotify, she opened for Olivia Rodrigo on the 2022 “Sour Tour” and headlined her own tour last spring as well.

Swifties who want to snag tickets to Taylor Swift’s colossal Eras Tour know the experience won’t come cheap.  

This year, the billionaire will only visit three U.S. cities – Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis – and prices for the in-demand shows are astronomical . For the Oct. 18 show in Miami, for example, cost of a single ticket ranged between $1,615 and $8,524 on StubHub.com as of Wednesday afternoon.

So, how else can fans see one of the world’s biggest singers? Go abroad .

In the past 30 days, searches for ‘Taylor Swift Europe tour 2024 tickets’ have increased by 300% in the U.S., indicating that some people are ready to take a long-haul flight to see the wildly popular artist live, according to travel website Islands.com .

Concert-goers who head to Europe for their Swift experience may actually save more money in the long-run . Not only are ticket prices across the pond cheaper, but many European cities, like Warsaw and Lisbon, are also budget-friendly, offering inexpensive food and lodging.

To determine the most affordable Eras Tour stops, Islands.com researchers compared the cost of a two-night trip, including one cheap ticket on StubHub.com, two nights at a four-star hotel, six inexpensive meals, two five-mile taxi rides, and one domestic beer. However, researchers didn’t account for airline tickets or concert merchandise.

With safety at the top of travelers' minds, the researchers also factored in the city’s safety rating out of 100. 

To stay extra safe, the State Department encourages travelers to register with the U.S. embassy in the country they're visiting any time they travel abroad. That can be done at step.state.gov .

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour sales in France halted on Ticketmaster

Taylor Swift ’s French fans are in disarray as sales for the singer’s  Eras Tour  in the French cities of Paris and Lyon were abruptly halted by Ticketmaster on Tuesday.

Ticketmaster said on Twitter that “The Taylor Swift sale | The 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold.” The ticketing website added that it will keep people “posted with a new on-sale time as soon as possible.” It also said that “all codes not already used will remain valid.” An hour later, the Lyon show received a  similar notice .

The issue appears to stem from a technical glitch on Ticketmaster causing people to be unable to log into the website with their passwords. At one point, there were more than 700,000 fans in the queue to purchase tickets.

Swift is slated to perform in Paris at La Défense Arena on May 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2024 and Lyon on June 2-3, as part of the Eras Tour international run. Her global trek is expected to become the first tour in the history of the business to gross a billion dollars, according to a recent report by Pollstar, which is estimating that the final gross will wind up around $1.4 billion.

The technical difficulties call back to the first day Swift’s Eras Tour  went on sale in the U.S. , which resulted in delays, skyrocketing prices and cancellations of ticket sales. Ticketmaster then canceled the public on-sale date entirely, as all the shows completely sold out.

In a statement regarding Ticketmaster at the time, Swift said: “I’m not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked them, multiple times, if they could handle this kind of demand and we were assured they could.

"It’s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.”
