Dear friends . After checking trustpilot I have booked one service from Klook for today at Manali. I am super disappointed as they have spoiled my whole trip. Please don’t run behind the law price they offer .. they just don’t keep the promises and your money will be blocked for few days. Places to visit in Dubai with your Family

Dubai mall & downtown dubai., at the top – burj khalifa.

Visiting the world’s tallest tower is at the top of a lot of Dubai visitors’ lists but the one you also need to give the most thought and planning to. On-the-spot tickets to the Burj Khalifa observation deck “At The Top” can be as much as 4x the online prepurchased price. And slots to popular sunrise and sunset timings can go fast over busy school holiday periods.

Because of the popularity of this attraction, it is difficult to get CHEAP tickets, but you can get value by combining your Burj Khalifa tickets with other attractions.

The Burj Khalifa observation deck entry is attached to the Dubai Mall. You can easily spend a whole day, if not 2 or 3 just in the Dubai Mall, especially over the hot summer months.  Other attractions well worth checking out include:

This 10-m illion litre water tank makes it the largest of its type in the world and home to more than 140 different species of aquatic animals. A brilliant indoor and educational experience in Dubai.

Dubai Theme Parks

Dubai has a growing collection of world-class theme parks to choose from. They are all slightly outside of the city so you will need to factor in transport, but the good news is, off-peak times you can get virtually no queuing at these venues and endless rides!

Dubai has two major water parks –  Aquaventure  at Atlantis The Palm and  Wild Wadi near Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. There are also smaller water park and splash park options including Laguna and Legoland Dubai Water Park .

Things to note before booking attraction tickets in Dubai

• Weekends in the UAE run from Thursday evening through Saturday – everything is MUCH busier at these times.
• School holidays are MUCH busier times too, particularly winter around Christmas (which coincides with UAE school holidays) and April/Easter (not always at the same time depending on dates).
• Resident rates advertised by attractions direct only apply to full-time UAE or GCC residents with valid Emirates ID cards that must be presented on ticket collection – no being clever and asking friends to buy on your behalf!
• Dates and opening change can change significantly over the Holy Month of Ramadan.

I've seen mixed reviews on the Singapore forum; some apparently have had poor experiences. When a purchase went sideways you're stuck with buying the tickets again and also chasing a refund; whereupon Klook will (correctly or otherwise) lay the blame at the feet of others.

But, personally, I haven't used them ...

Never heard of them

As with all these things, allow time to read, check (and check again) all the small-print and contractual aspects, especially regarding refunds and complaints process. Not saying it's the case with the online reviews/feedback that seems poor about Klook, but buyers don't always do their due diligence.

May be interesting to see how the deals stack up against similar apps/sites/operators, especially if possible to a comparison that is 'like for like' eg same criteria, or even operator?

Look at the bottom of the home page, and it looks like they are based in Singapore, Taiwan, or similar as they mention having Travel Agents licences.

@ Dipti P - why exactly was your ticket invalid? Any chance you could perhaps elaborate on the ticket/package that you purchased and the reasons for refusal? Had you read the terms/conditions and other 'small print' on the ticket?

There's no 'one best way' to get the best deals for attractions; it is sadly a case of shopping around and comparison.

Here are a few tips though...

1) Start with Entertainer (as there's a surprising amount of kids attractions and tours like hop/hop off buses in there, just ensure you fully check the search, articles and offers to find them!) but don't overlook the other deals/voucher sites

2) Look at the specific attraction's main website - usually they have special offers - or social media profile/mailing list, as occasionally they have flash sales/online promos. Be careful the deals are not just for UAE or GCC residents, as you will likely be asked for ID on redemption and if you're only visiting they will likely make you stump up full cost.

4) Consider a multipass/city pass or similar - if you Google you will find there are many different options. Be wary here of the 'small print' as often they have restrictions such as certain entry times or limitations. It's also worth weighing up the cost against the total value and if you would visit all of the sites/attractions.

5) Viator - although it's a reseller, it's one of the best collective groupings of tours in UAE and worldwide, and it's a Trip Advisor company. Usually, the providers are amongst the best, and the customer service is good whilst they also offer a price matching service too. Think of it as McDonalds - you pay for convenience and reliability rather than the best burger.

6) Check out local media - websites such as Insydo, Lovin  Dubai  or magazines/websites such as Time Out or What's On, as often there are sponsored promotions.

Ultimately, the value is there if you're willing to spend time researching and shopping around. Of course, be careful not to get too bogged down in research as you need to value your own time against any financial savings 😉

We have the same problem. We bought 3 tickets to Atlantis Aquaventure which cost 810 UAD and upon ticket counter at the Atlantis they told me these vouchers have been used by someone else. I had to call Singapore office and they offered no help. I asked Klook staff to talk to Atlantis staff to certify the case.

I had to buy 3 new tickets and I wrote to Klook many times to request for refund but now 3 weeks have passed they have not sent the refund to my account.

Anybody know how I can claim my money back, should I write to Hongkong Tourism authorities?

I had the most embarrassing moment in front of the Aquaventure counter with this used up ticket. Everyone thought I was trying to cheat the reality is Klook cheated me. The Aquaventure manager said that Klook is a repeat offender here with this fake tickets.

Its almost 3 months with lot of email to Klook I still did not receive any refund, the support center for Klook is a joke.

I have used them few times for hongkong visits. And always have been very satisfied wothout any glitches.

Can’t recommend, they never refunded me when the tour operator cancelled on me.

I used Klook for booking various activities in dubai lately (April 2019). Everything went on smoothly.

The instant confirmation also worked fine (I booked 4 tickets at Atlantis Aquaventure right at the gates, before the counters, and received confirmation mail instantly, with 0 problem for entry)

additionally, i have booked the safari, dubai aquarium tickets, sim card in malaysia and so on.

My suggestion is to read the booking conditions very carefully and try to book well in advance.

Beware of this company!

I tried calling the number listed on the Klook app for Dubia support and the number would not even ring - 971 52 546 3245. It was very distressing for me and my friend and put a damper on our trip. I tried using the chat on the Klook app many times. There was always a long queue and I waited and waited but almost every time the chat would become disconnected.

Finally I was able to speak with customer service and asked her to confirm that our other two trips were confirmed which she did. But I also requested to be refunded for the initial trip from the airport to the hotel since the driver never showed but the chat disconnected before she responded. During the chat Maria did give me another number to call for support (which was not listed anywhere on the app so I found this very confusing).

The morning of the 20th which we ordered a car to take us from the hotel to the airport, no one showed up. So I tried calling the number given to me by Maria. When I called all I got was a "Hello", there was no indication that I had even reached Klook, No "Hi this is Klook, how can I help?". It sounded like he was taking calls from his home or something, not customer support from a business. I told him about the issues. That the driver never showed at the airport on May 17th and that I wanted a refund and that our driver was not there to take us to the airport on the 20th at that time. Rather than apologizing or being concerned that our driver never showed on the 17th I was matter of factly told that there was no record of any trips not being completed that weekend. Then he said give me 10 to 15 minutes to call the driver who was supposed to take us to the airport at 7am and it was already after that timing. I told him we cannot wait 10 to 15 minutes as we do not want to miss our flight . The fact that he had no sensitivity to the fact that we were trying to rush to an international flight shows his unprofessionalism. Then he said ok Ill call back in 3 minutes time. He never called back. I tried calling him and no response. We then had to rush and find a cab from the street to ensure we got to our flight on time.

I also sent multiple emails without the issue being resolved. I finally had to resort to contacting my credit card company for a refund because your company was completely uncontactable and would not reply about the $100+ I was owed for failure to deliver the service I paid for.

The only light in all this is the driver we hired for our drive to Abu Dhabi , Fares. He messaged me the night before to confirm on whats app. He showed up on time and was a safe driver. He was also friendly and was willing to answer our many questions about Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He was also driving us while fasting and was late to break fast but still insisted he did not need to stop to eat. He was a very kind person. This was because of his own personality and integrity to be great at his job and was not thanks to Klook. Fares deserves kudos for being more professional than the company he works for.

I hope that Klook will improve their service and ensure that their customers are't stranded and then denying them a way to get a refund.

We visited Qasr al watan abu dhabi through klook vouchers everything went smooth ,did not have any issues and saved some money too got cheaper from over the counter tickets. Great place to visit.thank you klook
