Multi-platinum pop rock band LANY announces the North America leg of their a beautiful blur World Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 30+ dates kicks off at Raleigh’s The Ritz on February 13 and continues through the U.S. and Canada this March and April 2024. Fans can register for Artist Presale HERE via Seated. The Seated Registered Artist presale begins Tuesday October 10th at 10am through Thursday October 12th at 10pm local. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale starting Friday October 13th at 12pm local.

LANY Drops ‘A Beautiful Blur’ North American Tour Dates 

The pop-rockers of LANY are heading out on a massive tour across North America next year to support new music.

‘A Beautiful Blur” tour will kick-off in Raleigh on February 13, followed by gigs at Atlanta’s Coca Cola Roxy, the BOK Center in Tulsa, Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. They’ll also appear in cities like Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, and Boston before wrapping-up at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on April 12.

LANY Announced The North American Leg Of Their ‘A Beautiful Blur World Tour,’ Set To Kick Off In 2024

LANY is continuing their critically acclaimed A Beautiful Blur World Tour . Today (October 4), the band announced the North American leg of the tour, which is set to kick off early next year.

The tour comes in support of the band’s fifth studio album, A Beautiful Blur , and LANY is scheduled to play various venues throughout the US and Canada. Fans can register for a pre-sale via Seated , and will be able to purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, October 10. General on-sale begins Friday, October 13.

Los Angeles trio LANY will embark on a North American tour in support of their forthcoming album gg bb xx this fall. keshi will support on all North American dates. The tour will also follow a limited run in the U.K. this fall with more dates to be confirmed soon.

Tickets go on sale July 23 at 9am local time. LANY will offer VIP packages for each show that include an intimate acoustic performance, a Q&A session, a group photo with the band, access to the soundcheck and more. Additionally, Citi is the official presale credit card of the LANY: gg bb xx Tour . As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning July 20 at 9am local time until July 22 at 10pm local time through Citi Entertainment.

About Surfaces:

Surfaces is a Texas-based duo comprised of Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki. LPGA veteran Mariajo Uribe is one of those athletes looking to make her country proud in the Games this summer and is taking advantage of deep Epson Tour fields, like the one at last week’s Atlantic Beach Classic, to make that happen.

“I always knew the depth of this tour, but coming out here and playing, it's definitely unbelievable,” said Uribe after Saturday’s final round in Atlantic Beach, Fla. “This week especially, it's been great. It feels like an LPGA event. We've been treated like LPGA players, and the course was in great shape.”

A 5-under final round at Atlantic Beach Country Club saw Uribe ultimately finish in a tie for fourth in her second Epson Tour start of the year, and she is now ranked 17th in the Race for the Card. With the Olympics and her impending retirement both looming, the top-10 finish has given the 34-year-old some momentum as she works to finish the final months of her golf career strong.

“I'm playing only these last six months before the Olympics. I'm going to retire, so now I’m just getting some first times,” said Uribe. “I haven't played on the Epson Tour that much, so it's nice to get a good finish and be in contention no matter what tour it is.

“I didn't think I would say that in my 15 years on Tour, I would have firsts in my last year. But it's my first year really playing on Epson, meeting new girls, playing with a lot of young girls, so I'm just enjoying every round. Every point counts for me in the rankings, so I just need to fight every day on the course. And we'll see what happens in June.”

Forget the stuffy tour buses with their idling engines: From the country’s first electric tour boat to a Cinderella-worthy e-carriage, these five low-impact EV sightseeing tours cater to eco-friendly exploration.

EV “storytelling cars” in San Francisco

San Francisco’s GoCar Tours’ compact, yellow Gocar EV Sport vehicles offer a futuristic take on a three-wheeled motorcycle. Rentable from the Fisherman’s Wharf area since 2019, the tandem two-seater “storytelling cars” are geared toward independent, self-paced city exploration, thanks to built-in GPS-guided tours with perky audio commentary. Granted, horse-drawn carriages were never motorized, but that didn’t necessarily make them sustainable: The controversial industry has long drawn the ire of animal rights groups for perceived animal cruelty . Philadelphia—a city where horse-drawn carriages had once been a mainstay of the visitor experience (though the last of the industry’s stables shuttered in 2023)—has become a testing ground for a 21st-century alternative: e-carriages. Philadelphia-based animal advocacy group Carriage Horse Freedom rolled out its first carriage, dubbed “Caroline,” in 2023, as a more ethical alternative to horse-drawn models (“all of the charm, none of the harm,” as its website states).

The elegant e-carriage, which swaps out horsepower for battery power, has since become a star of the city’s parades and events, with plans for scheduled public tours slated for a spring launch—in coordination with the city’s American Vegan Center and themed on the history of vegetarianism and veganism in Philadelphia. (More general sightseeing tours of the Old City, pending city permitting approvals, are expected to start this summer.)

The Chicago Electric Boat Company prides itself in sustainability on the Chicago River, offering a fun twist on its all-electric, zero-emissions fleet with the launch of its “hot tub boats” in 2023. The soak-ready, slow-moving sailings (which don’t reach speeds greater than one mile per hour) launch out of the docks at Marina City and are primed for eyeing the Chicago cityscape.

Book the bobbing blue, circular vessels for 90-minute outings with up to six passengers; they can be captained by any licensed driver 21 or older. Plus, they come with all the extras you could need: coolers, floating cup holders, nifty underwater lights, and waterproof Bluetooth speakers. Bonus: The boats are BYOB (for all but the driver, naturally)—with the important caveat that there aren’t any bathrooms onboard. And note they’re only available from November through March, given the crowds on the waterway in-season.

Rockabilly Legends Stray Cats Announce US Tour in 2024

S trays Cats reunited back in 2018, but they haven’t done much touring in the years since getting back together. Luckily, that’s about the change. The rockabilly legends themselves are kicking off a summer tour across the United States with their OG lineup of Brian Setzer, Lee Rocker, and Slim Jim Phantom. Midnight Cowgirls will open for the band on each tour date.

The Stray Cats 2024 Tour will launch on July 27 in Woodinville, Washington at Chateau Ste. Michele Winery. The tour will end on August 17 in Bridgeport, Connecticut at Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater. It’s worth noting that some of the tour dates are 21+ only.

There will be a few presale events for this tour, including an artist presale, Official Platinum presale, and Spotify presale. All presale events will begin on March 27 via Ticketmaster.

Samuel Adams brewery tour gets national nod. Did Adams himself even brew beer?

Sam Adams beer has gained a loyal audience over the last 40 years, and now the Boston-based brewery has made in onto the Top 10 list of best brewery tours in the country.

USA Today's Readers' Choice Awards for 2024 includes a number of beer-related categories, including best beer bars, gardens and festivals and best new breweries and labels, with Weymouth's Vitamin Sea Brewing making the latter list.

The Samuel Adams Boston Brewery came in 10th on the list of the best tours, with Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey, Pennsylvania, taking top honors.

The company offers several variations of its brewery tours, with options lasting from 30 minutes for the VIP tour to an hour for private tours. Tour prices range from $10 to $45, excluding group rates, which vary according to group size.

The "Sam Signature Tour" is the least expensive of the tours at $10. The 45-minute tour offers a chance for guests to learn about the brewing process and the company's research and development programs. The tour of the brewhouse includes a tasting. Supervised people younger than 21 are allowed on this tour and don't need tickets.

Other tours include "Beyond the Brewhouse," "Keller Crafted: Artisan Beer and Cheese Experience," "VIP Pass Experience" and the private tours.

The tours fill up quickly, according to the company, and can be booked online .

Why did the founder name his company's signature brew after Adams?

According to the Samuel Adams website, CEO Jim Koch, who founded the Boston Beer Co. in 1984, named his beer after the Founding Father "because he shared a similar spirit in leading the fight for independence and the opportunity for all Americans to pursue happiness and follow their dreams."

Koch's family had been in the brewing business for 150 years. Jim Koch broke with that tradition when he left for college.

After college and graduate school, Koch began a career in management consulting, according to the company's website . Koch opened the craft beer company in 1984.
