Can I change my travel plans?

There is no fee to modify a reservation but you may be subject to a fare difference if modified to a date less than seven days from your date of modification. Please note, trips modified inside 2 hours of a departure can only be modified once and are no longer eligible for future travel credits or modifications. You can login to your account at vonlane.com to modify trips departing greater than two hours in the future or call, chat online, or email your modification request to [email protected] . If you simply cancel your existing trip and purchase a new trip, your credit card will be charged for a second booking. Your cancellation will be governed by our normal cancellation policy which may result in a loss of fare or an issuance of Vonlane credit only.

Can I receive a refund?

Yes, all Vonlane tickets are fully refundable as long as you cancel 24 hours prior to the first leg of your trip. Tickets cancelled inside of 24 hours and prior to 2 hours before the departure time are re-usable for future travel at a value equal to the original fare paid. Vonlane credit for cancelled trips expires and is removed from a passenger's account six months after the cancellation date. There is no refundable or re-usable value for a "no show" ticket. Tickets cancelled less than 2 hours prior to the trip departure time are non-cancellable and nonrefundable. Trips booked within 24 hours of departure are not refundable to the purchaser's credit card.

Are there other fees?

When traveling with Vonlane, the only additional fee you may incur is if you choose to park your personal vehicle. Our terminal locations offer parking fees that are competitive with typical airport parking fees; therefore, you can still plan to pay less overall for your entire trip.

Are there baggage restrictions?

In order to ensure all passengers are accommodated, please limit your luggage to 2 bags of 50 pounds or less and 1 carry-on bag.

Is there a restroom?

Yes, every Vonlane Passenger First motor coach has a full restroom for your convenience. Unlike the airlines, you won't be sharing it with more than 100 people. Our coaches only hold 22 passengers.

Can pets travel?

Small dogs, weighing less than 10 pounds , in a carry-case that can fit by a passenger's legs, are allowed on a Vonlane coach. The carry-case must be fully enclosed and the dog fully secured in the case. The case is not permitted on any table, seat, or in the coach aisle. The case, with dog inside, must remain quietly on the floor by the passenger’s feet throughout the trip. The carry-case must not impede the personal space of any other passenger, their seat, or leg rest. Dogs that cannot remain quietly in the carry-case should not be brought aboard and passengers with loud animals may be asked to disembark the coach at a rest area. This is strictly enforced by our attendants. Cats and other animals are not allowed aboard the motor coaches.

Service animals that are "trained to take a specific action when needed to assist the person with a disability" are allowed aboard without being in an animal carrier. All service animals must be harnessed and controlled by the passenger at all times. Vonlane adheres to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA does not cover emotional support dogs. Therefore, emotional support dogs that cannot adhere to the pet policy above cannot travel aboard Vonlane. Hawaiian Explorer (8 Days)

We were told by Tour Radar that we could not plan “individual outings” before our trip. “Wait until you get there and your tour guide will help you”. At least that was my interpretation. So by the time we got to Hawaii a couple of the events we wanted to participate in were already booked. I was quite disappointed. Our plane was 3 hours late arriving so we never really met fellow travelers. It was the first tour I have been on where I did not know most of the participants. Our Director was awesome but overall this was an OK vacation. Service was great, Mother Nature provided lots of whales but so many things went wrong it will not go down as a memorable experience.

The Tour Director and driver were first class, keeping us both very amused, and very safe. Some of the downsides were due to the weather, at times, which nothing could be done about, so we got on with it. Some of the main downs were due to my naivety, in thinking some facilities (like cash paying taxis from SLC airport; I persuaded a friendly Uber driver to accept cash!) were what I was used to, and that I wouldn't have to re-enter security when changing planes from LHR to SLC, at PHX, even though I was on a connecting, booked, flight, and my baggage had already been labelled for both airports appropriately, at LHR. Altogether, a very good, and memorable holiday, where I visited some parts of the Parks that I visited before, but saw many more, and different sights in them.

On our first ever program was a river cruise in Russia which had just started opening its doors to western visitors. Sure enough, the sailing along the mighty Volga departed in July of 1993 with 207 passengers on board. Boy, what a trip that was! First time cruisers…first western passengers aboard a Russian ship….crew that spoke no English…food that was limited to cabbage, boiled potatoes and cucumbers… a most memorable experience indeed!

However, as a result, we discovered a new way to explore the world, via the inland waterways of various countries, long before river cruising became a staple that it is today! Building on Russia’s popularity, we started expanding our river cruise offers to include Ukraine in 1995, Danube in 1996, China Yangtze in 1997, Egypt Nile in 2002, Mekong Delta Cruises in 2004 and most recently cruises in India & Myanmar (Burma).

So here we are, twenty eight years later, with more than 70,000 passengers that have traveled with us, some of them as many as 11 times over the years! We have survived wars, famines, bird flues, economic crises and Lord knows what else and yet, older but no wiser, we are still as passionate about our business as the day we started it! 13 Posh Campervans for a Luxury Camping Trip

Imagine elevating your van life experience with luxurious amenities, without the need for a cumbersome motorhome. Visualize enjoying the comfort of on-demand hot water in your shower, a dedicated sleeping space, and the privacy of elegant cabin dividers.

The newest models of luxury campervans combine reliability with convenience, ensuring they are straightforward to drive and park, offer ample space, and are built to last.

Here are our top picks!

1. Thor Motor Coach Tranquillity

The Tranquillity campervan by Thor Motor Coach is a short and agile camper van that can take you anywhere thanks to its all-wheel drive.

While this van is on the smaller end of the spectrum, you’ll find plenty of comforts inside.

The kitchen has a fridge, convection microwave oven, stainless steel sink with a cover, dual-burner gas cooktop, thick countertops, and a fold-out table to use outside. There’s also a living room area where you can chill out, relax, and eat at meals. The bathroom is enclosed, so you can do your business or shower in privacy. Not bad, huh?

The Tranquillity has two floor plans: the 19LT and the 19PT. One features a rear sleeping area that’s permanently set up, while the other has a fold-out sleeping area at the back, so the lounge area is a lot bigger.

2. Outside Van Approach

Every single detail feels premium on board the Outside Van Approach 170 camper van. It’s an off-grid ready camper with 17″ wheels and all-terrain tires on a 4×4 chassis so that you can take it on any adventure. The roll-down cabin divider really sets it apart from other models, as it allows you to create “rooms” inside your van.

This is one of the few vans with a dinette and a living room. The front seats swivel to allow four people to eat at the table. At the back are two sleeping platforms; one is suspended in the air, while the other is a bench system that turns into a sleep area. There’s also a hidden water box with a toilet and shower. Set up the black curtain when you need a shower.

Outside Van is also launching Syncline, a camper van built on the Mercedes Sprinter 144, in 2024.

3. Storyteller Overland Beast MODE

The Storyteller Beast Mode AWD camper van features a dinette at the front, a sleeping platform, a decent-size galley, a toilet, and a fold-out couch called the “Groove Lounge.”

Think of a cool, unusual feature, and the Beast Mode has it. Awning extension, onboard air compressor, cargo carrier, removable cabinetry, garage area… if we gave you the whole list, we’d be here all day!

The Storyteller Overland Beast MODE is also available as a 4×4 for $218,620.

4. Roadtrek Pivot Slumber

The Roadtrek Pivot Slumber is a camper van built on the Ram Promaster Chassis with a sleek interior look. The Duo Space bathroom has a pivoting wall that creates a shower room and keeps the rest of the bathroom dry. We love this clever idea!

The dining table hides a swivel extension, so you can make it bigger at meal times or when you need to work on the go. Handy.

The pop top means you can sleep four people in this luxury campervan.

5. Thor Motor Coach Sequence

The Thor Motor Coach Sequence is a luxury camper van for couples who prefer a spacious interior to a big bathroom.

The kitchen has all the essentials , while the dinette is super cozy. The bathroom is compact but big enough to have a nice warm shower after a day spent adventuring. At the back of the van, you’ll find the king-size sleeping area, which needs to be assembled at night.

The Sequence comes equipped with a bike rack and patio awning. If you like, you can add a pop-top SkyBunk to add a separate bedroom to the floor plan.

6. Pleasure-Way Plateau TS

The Pleasure-Way Plateau TS looks like a luxurious modern boat inside, thanks to the big windows, white cushions, and cream (Champagne) furniture.

Don’t worry – the upholstery also comes in flint, a better color for van lifers who regularly get muddy.

The guys at Pleasure-Way used every inch of space inside while keeping the furniture as big as possible. Great, innovative design.

The full kitchen is super long, the wardrobe is huge and the lounge is extra comfy. If you travel as a couple, this camper van definitely offers a glamorous camping experience.

Airstream Interstate 24GT

The Airstream Interstate 24GT is an elegant camper van with many windows and a huge lounge where you can chill out. It’s perfect for people who love to cook from scratch, thanks to the extra-long kitchen. If you enjoy having a guest over now and then, transform the cockpit into a guest bedroom with the inflatable bed, which comes as standard from Airstream.

We love the idea of having continuous hot water in the Airstream Interstate 24GT shower with the tankless water heater. That’s true luxury in our book. If you like, you can upgrade the vehicle to four-wheel drive.

8) Coach House RV Arriva

The Coach House RV Arriva is a luxurious Class B motorhome best suited to couples – only two people can sit at the table inside it.

What makes this camper van stand out is the huge dry bath at the rear of the van. It takes up the entire vehicle width and features a separate shower cubicle – that’s unheard of on a van!

Having a “proper bathroom” is well worth not being able to have guests for dinner inside. Just invite people over when the weather is good – simple.

9. Winnebago Revel

The Winnebago Revel is an agile camper van with a practical interior and plenty of storage for your adventure gear. The dinette seating is designed to be comfortable when camping and driving on rough terrain. The power lift bed is super helpful, as it turns the back of the vehicle into a garage with lots of storage space.

Being light and equipped with a 3-liter turbo diesel engine, you can take it up steeper tracks, through mud and snow, or on sand.

10. Grech RV Turismo-ion

The Grech RV Turismo-ion camper van packs a lot of luxuries in only 19 feet. It features a big sofa bed, a wet bath, and a luxurious-looking kitchen.

We haven’t seen a porcelain toilet and power window shades on any other van that’s on the market.

When it comes to choosing a luxury camper van, it’s all in the little details. There are so many out there by now. Well done, Grech RV.

11. Entegra Coach Ethos

The Entegra Coach Ethos is a modern, luxurious camper van featuring a big couch that turns into a sleeping area, a wet bath, and a dining area. The guys at Entegra Coach designed a smaller kitchen to allow for a more extensive sleeping area – an excellent decision!

If you like, you can add a pop-top roof to the Ethos to create a second bedroom.

12. Earthroamer

This is not technically a van, we know. But we couldn’t not include the EarthRoamer SX. If you dream of the ultimate luxury experience in the wilderness, you’ve gotta take a look at it. It’s got 350 horsepower and a 6.6L turbo diesel V8! Did we mention it comes with 43″ Military Grade Goodyear Tires?

Inside, it looks like a hotel. The platform bed has wooden steps going up to it. The shower looks like it’s come out of a spa. The living room is spacious and comfortable. Can you even imagine how cushy van life would be with a washer-dryer?

While the interior is to die for, the EarthRoamer SX is also designed to provide a fantastic outdoor camping experience. It features an electric awning, LED lighting all around, and an outdoor kitchen.

13. Jayco 2024 Swift

The Jayco 2024 Swift camper van packs a lot of comfort in a small space. The floor plan features a kitchen, a wet bath, and a couch or benches, which turn into a sleeping area. This is king-size, which is pretty awesome for a vehicle with such a small footprint.

We like the extra details like the winterization drain system and the heated holding tanks. They surely make van life easier!

We were a few months ago as bussines trip , enjoyed the train RZD.ru were very disappointed with dirty "Kurski" railway station and railway trip

While maybe the train station was not ideal for you, there is no way you want to use a bus...or any other motorized form of transport...it will take forever...

Yes, forever!, 12 hours overnight sleepless train it`s was like one way ticket to hell. Anybody?

Try the express train...way faster. 4 hours. The only 12 hour train I am aware of is one that is more of a milk run roiute that takes a rather circuitous route,,,otherwise, almost all are 8 hours, not that that helps much.

Yes, come to think of it, I grabbed one out of StP one time, admittedly a bit out of greed, only to find that it left from a totally different station. Nonetheless, it did not take 12 hours. But I think the one that is mentioned here may be one that goes up through Vologda if I am not mistaken.

Bottom line, seems like you had an issue with sleeping. You MIGHT want to try one of the more typical 8 hour overnights that leave out of Leningradski Station, at least they make fewer stops. Else, simply catch the Sapsan up there, and 4 hours later, voila!
