Guided tours of Parliament, Senate of Canada Building

Parliament Hill free tours and programming

Parliament Hill is one of Canada’s most iconic sites and a must-see when visiting Canada’s capital. The historic, neo-Gothic Parliament Buildings stand tall on a hill overlooking the majestic Ottawa River in downtown Ottawa. And although the buildings are home to the country’s federal government (Prime Minister Justin Trudeau works there), visitors are welcome on-site for free tours and programming all year-long. Whether you visit Parliament Hill for a selfie, for a tour, or to experience one of the many free events, you’ll never run out of things to discover!

Visitors can take free guided tours the Parliament Buildings.

  • House of Commons (West Block on Parliament Hill):  From 2010 to 2018, traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies were used to create a greener, fully accessible and barrier-free West Block. One of the spectacular new spaces is the glass-roofed structure built into the courtyard. The new state-of-the-art, underground Visitor Welcome Centre (located between West Block and Centre Block) is the tour starting point, and also houses the Parliamentary Boutique.
  • Senate (Senate of Canada Building):  This Beaux-Arts-style building has a storied past and beautiful architecture: Originally built as Ottawa’s train station in 1912 (the same year as the Fairmont Château Laurier which is located directly across the street), it later became the Government Conference Centre. It was rehabilitated to temporarily house the Senate in part due to its convenient location just one block from Parliament Hill.
  • Parliament - The Immersive Experience:  This innovative experience allows you to explore the main Parliament Building, also known as Centre Block. This is a 360 degree multimedia self-guided exhibition that lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Tours of these new locations are subject to Parliamentary activity and all tour participants must go through security screening, similar to an airport.

Online reservations system

You can  reserve tickets online  for guided tours of the House of Commons and the Senate. The online booking system shows real-time availability and allows advanced reservations. Reservations are also available on a first-come-first-serve basis at the door of each location, dependent on ticket availability.

Free year-round programming

The grounds of Parliament Hill are a welcoming and photogenic place, with large grassy spaces, dozens of monuments and the symbolic Centennial Flame. (Note: On-site construction may affect access to certain areas). Plus, many special events are held year-round on the large front lawn, and they’re all free! Here are some highlights you can expect:

  • Changing of the Guard : This free ceremony – modeled on the one in London, England – takes place each morning from late June to late August. Watch guards in scarlet uniforms and bearskin hats as they march with precision to the sound of the accompanying military band.
  • Winter Lights Across Canada : From early December to early January, hundreds of thousands of dazzling holiday lights glow throughout downtown Ottawa, and a winter lightscapes multimedia show is projected onto Parliament Hill’s Centre Block.
  • Yoga on Parliament Hill: Join hundreds of yogis each Wednesday from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. from May through August.
  • Fortissimo : This spectacular presents massed military bands, pipes and drums, guest performers and the soldiers of the Ceremonial Guard over three days in July.

Ottawa: 4 official and free tours of the Parliament of Canada

Ottawa: 4 official and free tours of the Parliament of Canada

Last updated: 02/20/2024

Check out the free tours available to explore the Parliament of Canada's interior while the massive, multi-year renovation is underway.

THE PARLIAMENT OF CANADA

As a Parliamentary Federal Constitutional Monarchy, the Canadian State has a bicameral legislature, divided into the Upper House (Senate) and the Lower House (equivalent to the Chamber of Deputies and also called the House of Commons). The beautiful buildings of the Parliament of Canada were built in neo-Gothic style, between 1859 and 1876, on a hill known as Parliament Hill , located on the banks of the Ottawa River. The site was originally home to a military base and began to develop as a government district after Queen Victoria chose Ottawa as her capital.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE PARLIAMENT OF CANADA

Located on Parliament Hill and surrounded by beautiful statues, monuments and memorials , the main building is known as “ Center Block ” and the side buildings like “ East Block " and " West Block “. In 1927, Parliament gained a central tower, known as Peace Tower (Peace Tower), a tower about 92.2 meters high that houses the Canadian flag. In the Center Block there is also a beautiful library, known as Library of Parliament .

Ottawa: 4 tours of the Parliament of Canada (official and free)

The grassy area in front of Parliament always hosts events such as public ceremonies, political events and national celebrations. There is also the Centennial Flame (Centenary Flame), which was lit in 1966 to begin celebrations of Canada's 100th birthday. Just below the Centennial Flame, there is a reflecting pool that never freezes due to the temperature of the fire.

RENOVATIONS AT THE CENTER BLOCK

Since 2002, the Canadian government has been working on an extensive Center Block renovation project that began in 2018 and which should be completed between 2030 and 2031 (or later)! This is the largest and most ambitious heritage rehabilitation project ever seen in Canada. Because of this, the main areas of the building are closed, including the official rooms of the Senate and House of Commons, the Peace Tower and the beautiful Library. Therefore, visitations to Parliament had to be changed, as the two Chambers were moved to nearby buildings while renovations are underway.

4 TOURS IN THE PARLIAMENT OF CANADA

Due to the reforms, visits to Parliament were divided into 4 free tours distinct, each of which begins in a different location. The four available tours can be seen below and are located on the interactive map. Then see details about each of them.

  • House of Commons (West Block)
  • Senate of Canada
  • Parliament: The Immersive Experience

1. HOUSE OF COMMONS (WEST BLOCK)

The tour of the House of Commons begins in the new Visitor Center , located on the left side of the Parliament Center Block before heading towards the West Block through a tunnel during the guided tour.

Ottawa: 4 tours of the Parliament of Canada (official and free)

After passing through security, go down the escalators to wait for the guide to call the group in the language and time you chose. There are sofas to sit on and wait for the tour time and there are also bathrooms and a gift shop.

Ottawa: 4 tours of the Parliament of Canada (official and free)

The guide will lead the group through a tunnel that connects the Visitor Center to the West Block, where the House of Commons meets during the renovation period. Just like in the British Parliament, government and opposition parliamentarians face each other. The building that temporarily shelters The House of Commons has relatively modern architecture, with stone walls, a glass ceiling and wooden furniture. Our guide provided a series of interesting information and historical data about the parliament. Our guide was very fun, made several funny jokes and made the tour very interesting and light.

2. EAST BLOCK

Crossing the lawn of Parliament Hill Square, you reach the East Block . The building is much older than the previous one, as there are preserved historical offices there. There is no space to wait inside the place, and access is only possible during the tour.

Ottawa: 4 tours of the Parliament of Canada (official and free)

You also need to go through security, with metal detectors and searches of bags and backpacks. The tour group is much smaller because space is more limited. During the tour, 4 historical rooms are visited. Are they:

I. OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR GENERAL

The Governor General is the representative of the British monarch in Canada. The former grand office was restored to reflect the period around 1872. At that time, the Governor General and visiting royalty accessed the East Block through a special entrance, and a red-carpeted staircase led to the room.

  • TIP! Currently, the Governor General's residence is in Rideau Hall (1 Sussex Dr, Ottawa, ON K1A 0A1, Canada) which can also be visited free of charge.

II. OFFICE OF SIR JOHN A. MACDONALD

In 1867, Sir John A. Macdonald was formally convened by Lord Charles Monck, 4th Viscount Monck and the then governor-general, in order to form the first government of the Canadian Confederation. He was the 1st Prime Minister of Canada  from 1867 until 1873, and again between 1878 and 1883. The office had large Gothic stained glass windows, an elegant, colorful ceiling, and a large oak door. Despite the large windows, Macdonald still needed gas lamps to operate after sunset. Several office furniture are original from the 19th century. The double table and sofa are original.

III. OFFICE OF SIR GEORGE-ÉTIENNE CARTIER

Before Confederation, Sir George-Étienne Cartier served as co-Prime Minister with Sir John A. Macdonald for Canada East in the Union government. The two men became great friends and leaders of the Confederation movement. Cartier was Canada's first minister of militia and defense in 1872. His office was one of six built in the same style and had large Gothic windows and beautiful furniture and was painted in rich colors exemplifying the Victorian era. Every prime minister from Sir Wilfrid Laurier to Pierre Trudeau has used this room . Over that time, its colors and furnishings have been changed to reflect current tastes. The room was vacated in the 1970s. It has since been restored as in the past. Gas lamps, coal fireplaces and beautiful drapes decorate the historic room.

IV. PRIVY COUNCIL CHAMBER

For more than 100 years, the Cabinet met at the Privy Council Chamber to make decisions that would shape the course of Canadian history. During construction, great care was taken in creating the ornate woodwork and moldings that surround the Chamber. The walls were covered with gold-patterned wallpaper. The bookshelves, window drapes, and impressive gas chandelier were very ornate. As the Cabinet grew, the Chamber underwent changes, a larger round table was placed in the room and a chandelier with electric light replaced the old chandelier. The vibrant colors of the walls were repainted white to reflect changing tastes. The Cabinet ended up moving to the Central Block and, in 1966, rehabilitation work began on the old Chamber. Using historic photographs, paint samples and archival documents to determine the correct colors and finishes, fabrics and materials, every effort has been made to faithfully recreate the Chamber as it appeared in 1872.

3. SENATE OF CANADA

The Upper Chamber, more popularly known as Senate , is temporarily housed in the building built at the beginning of the 20th century that housed Ottawa's old train station and which until recently served as the Government Conference Center. It is located right next to one of the most famous points in the city, the Rideau Canal.

Ottawa: 4 tours of the Parliament of Canada (official and free)

The building is beautiful inside! As soon as you pass through security, you will see a monumental Beaux-Arts style hall with light in the center that has been restored to remember the building's history.

Ottawa: 4 tours of the Parliament of Canada (official and free)

The highlight of the tour is the Senate Room, also known as the “Red Chamber”, which, like the Upper House of the British Parliament, is decorated in red tapestry. Just like the previous buildings, you must go through security before the tour. Therefore, you need to arrive in advance to avoid delays. TIP! One interesting thing we learned during the tour is that the position of senator in Canada is for life.

4. PARLIAMENT: THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

Since the main Parliament building, the Center Block, is closed for renovations, it's a good idea to check out the Parliament: The Immersive Experience , an innovative experience that includes an exhibition and a 360° multimedia show that lasts around 45 minutes. This immersive experience takes place on a single floor, accessible to wheelchairs and service animals. There are limited seating spaces. Unlike other tours that are led by a specialized guide, this tour is self-guided, although it has an appointment, and is divided into two parts.

  • PART 1: Lasting approximately 25 minutes, the first part of the visit is an exhibition, with interactive and multimedia displays that allow you to freely wander and discover the role of the Parliament of Canada and its history.
  • PART 2: The second half of the tour, lasting approximately 20 minutes, is an impressive 360° multimedia show that takes visitors to the different rooms of the Parliament building virtually. The show is presented in English and French.
  • Address:  211 Sparks St., Ottawa, ON K1P 5B9, Canada

TIPS FOR ATTENDING TOURS AT THE PARLIAMENT OF CANADA

  • Book tickets in advance to guarantee your desired day and time. Each tour has specific tickets and booking one of them does not automatically entitle you to the others. If you want to do all 4 tours, make reservations for each of them.
  • You can book tickets for up to 9 people at the same time. For groups of 10 or more people, visit this link .
  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes because you will have to stand and walk for a long time.

Peace Tower

Ottawa Canada Visitor Information and Guide

The Peace Tower is one of Canada's most emblematic symbols.  Visitors to Ottawa can climb the historic tower and enjoy a spectacular view of the city.

If you visit Parliament Hill between September and June, you can enjoy a carillon performance from noon until 12:15 on weekdays. There is a one hour recital beginning at 11 AM during the summer months.

The Peace Tower Carillon was inaugurated on Canada Day (July 1) in 1927.  It was built to commemorate the Armistice of 1918 and Canada's 60th anniversary of Confederation.  The carillon has 53 bells.

Peace Tower, Ottawa Ontario

Visitors wising to visit the Peace Tower only must obtain a ticket in advance.  The free passes are available at 90 Wellington Street in Ottawa on a first-come first-serve basis.

Tickets are not required if you visit the centre block on a guided tour.

Excellent tour

I booked in advance to take all three tours (West Block, East Block, Senate) in one morning. The tours were excellent and informative, and I would highly recommend. My one small complaint is that the website strongly advised to leave a certain amount of time between each tour, and that ended up being unnecessary, so we were stuck waiting for almost an hour between each tour, when we easily could have visited the three sites with much less time in between. It is also worth noting that the tours are shorter than the website indicated. West Block was supposed to be 40 minutes, but was over in 30, and East Block was supposed to be 50 minutes, but was also done in 30 minutes. Security to enter is quite stringent. They searched our bags by hand, which included going through wallets. I'd recommend bringing as little as possible with you.

We didn't do the guided tours of the buildings. We watched the light show, which was spectacular, taking the audience through Canada's history and not shying away from the more negative aspects. We went back the following morning to view the changing of the guard - as we were aware - but essentially it was a military band playing tunes, narrated so you knew what was playing and who wrote it. The Star Wars theme was the highlight for me. How the personnel didn't melt in the heat in their military outfits amazes me. It was around 10am in the morning and it was rather hot.

We did the guided tour of the house of commons west. We booked the morning of and didn't have much choice in times. (We were here long weekend in August) Book in advance to get your best options. Everyone here is super friendly. Arrive early to clear security. Olivia was a great and informative tour guide. She even did great speaking over the yelling child 🙄 Note: If you have a 3 year old who is not a history savant, you may want to not go on a guided tour. And if you do, you may not want to pump him up with chocolate and candy along the tour. Your child will be bored... be kind to everyone and skip guided tours about politics lol

ottawa parliament tour tickets

Over the years, I have toured all the Parliament buildings, and wanted to tour the temporary Senate building for a while. Located in the old railway station building across the street from the Chateau Laurier, they have done a remarkable restoration job. I loved the old Senate chamber in Centre Block (preferring it over the House of Commons), but they did a good job here while the renovations happen in Centre Block. If you enjoyed touring the other buildings, put this on your list. FYI - you have to go through airport-style security to enter the building. And show up early for your online pre-booked tour to go though said security screening.

Couldn't have asked for a better House of Commons tour guide than Justin! He was enthusiastic, energizing and did a great job explaining how the Canadian government works. We also did the East Block tour, but our guide was not nearly as engaging and the tour was not as interesting. Tip: Reserve your free tours online ahead of time. Tip: Go see the night laser show on Center Block if they are still showing it - interesting depiction of Canada's history.

We booked our free tour of the House of Commons about a week in advance and we're glad we did. Our guide was an earnest young woman who had her talking points down pat and provided a great overview of how the national legislature works. The House of Commons is in a temporary location while restoration work takes place in its normal home. Do not let that discourage you from doing the tour. The temporary chamber is stunning. It'll be a shame for it disappear a decade from now. We also caught an army regimental pipe and drums performance outside as well at 10 a.m. Not sure it it's every day, but be sure to ask.

Peace Tower Parliament Hill Ottawa Canada

By: Author Susan Moore

Posted on Last updated: October 29, 2022

On my third attempt I enjoyed a visit to the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill during my solo trip to Ottawa Canada . My first attempt failed due to a scheduled protest on Parliament Hill in the afternoon.

My second attempt I arrived too near closing time but I did receive some useful information from the staff, who told me to arrive 10 minutes or so before opening time at 9:00 am in order to have the best chance of being first in line.

The bells of Peace Tower Carillon were cast at the Gillett and Johnston foundry in Croydon England. The Carillon consists of 53 bronze bells weighing in at 66 tonnes in total.

The bells cover 4 1/2 octaves and during July and August the carillon plays from 11 am to noon on weekdays.

From September to June the Peace Tower Carillon plays from noon to 12:15 pm on weekdays.

I arrived at 8:45 on a Saturday and first in line to visit the Peace Tower. It was  beautiful summer day in Ottawa. I chatted with the staff and other people in line while waiting for the 9:00 am opening time.

There is a security check point at the entrance and afterwards an elevator to the observation deck which is located just below the clock face of the Peace Tower.

The clock was modeled after the clock tower known as Big Ben at the British Parliament in London England.

In 2014 I also enjoyed a bird’s-eye view of the construction site for the restoration of West Block Parliament Building. Although the scheduled completion date was in 2017 the actual occupancy date was in 2018.

The observation deck of the Peace Tower is off-limits during the Changing of the Guard ceremony on Parliament Hill so I took the elevator back down around 9:45 in order to view the Memorial Chamber.

Afterwards I attended the Changing of the Guard ceremony for the second time. Standing on the steps of the Peace Tower offered a better view than trying to see through the crowd of people. For the best view arrive early – the ceremony begins at 10:00 am during late June through late August.

Canada's budget 2024: The government wants to help you get Taylor Swift tickets and avoid your boss

The budget contained several measures that won't make big headlines

Article content

OTTAWA – Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland unveiled a budget with new taxes on wealthy Canadians, a bundle of new spending initiatives, and lots of red ink on Tuesday, but also contained several measures that won’t make big headlines.

Canada's budget 2024: The government wants to help you get Taylor Swift tickets and avoid your boss Back to video

The government wants to help Canadians get Taylor Swift concert tickets, disconnect from their jobs and cancel their cellphones online, among others. Here are some key policies and under-the-radar spending items in this year’s budget.

The right to disconnect

Up to half a million workers in federally regulated sectors like banking, telecommunications and the transportation industry may soon have a right to disconnect from work after hours.

The latest budget commits to invest $700,000 per year for five years to amend the federal Labour Code that would require federally regulated employers to implement a right to disconnect policy that limits all work-related communication outside of an employee’s regular working hours.

“As the nature of work in many industries has become increasingly digital, workers are finding it increasingly difficult to disconnect from their devices and inboxes after hours and on weekends,” the budget reads.

Taylor Swift tickets for all (except resellers)

A budget geared towards Gen Z and Millennials wouldn’t be complete without a reference to Taylor Swift. So, when thousands, if not millions, of Canadians failed to secure tickets to the pop megastar’s Eras Tour stops in Toronto and Vancouver, the Liberals decided they had to act.

In the budget, the government promises to work with provinces to crack down on “fraudulent resellers” who “maliciously” snatch up desirable tickets and boost prices using bots and other unfair techniques.

It will also work towards unspecified “stronger protections” against excess ticketing fees and ensuring people get timely refunds for cancelled events.

But the credibility of these government commitments is cast into doubt when the budget cited the hypothetical example of Toronto Maple Leafs fan “Nick” struggling to get a refund for unnecessary playoff game tickets because the Leafs swept through the first round of the playoffs in four matches.

One government source told National Post that the original example had the Leafs losing in four, but the blurb was edited in the days before the budget. Presumably to avoid any further municipal-federal confrontation.

Capitalizing on capital gains

If you’re anything like the author of these lines, capital gains are just an abstract notion that has little to no bearing on your annual income.

But for 40,000 wealthy Canadians (0.13 per cent of the population), they represent over $250,000 of income yearly and the government says they are undertaxed.

As of now, half of all capital gains (which come from the sale of assets like stocks or a second home) are exempt from taxes. The Liberals say that’s not fair because the wealthier you are, the more your income is made up of capital gains. So, they’re proposing to reduce the tax-exempt amount to one-third for capital gains that exceed $250,000 in a year.

The lower exemption would also apply to businesses but for all capital gains, not just those over $250,000 in a year.

The additional capital gains taxes are expected to rake $19.4 billion into the government’s coffers over the next five years.

Halal mortgages

The number of Muslims in Canada is rising yearly, meaning so is interest for “halal mortgages” which trade interest payments (which are not allowed under Islamic law) for “profit rate.”

In March, the government launched consultations with financial institutions and ethnic communities on how federal policies could be better adapted to their needs. One key finding was expanding access to “alternative financing products” like halal mortgages.

“This could include changes in the tax treatment of these products or a new regulatory sandbox for financial service providers, while ensuring adequate consumer protections are in place,” reads the budget, which promises more details in the 2024 Fall Economic Statement.

CRA fighting the people who don’t want to give up documents

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is tired of fighting for suspected tax dodgers’ documents.

“Limits to existing information gathering powers provided to the CRA under the Income Tax Act impede the effectiveness of the CRA’s compliance and enforcement actions,” the government admits in the budget.

A key solution highlighted in the budget is a new tool called a “Notice of Non-Compliance” that the CRA could issue if a taxpayer being audited or verified has not provided information required by the agency.

The notice recipient would then be fined $50 each day they do not provide the required information to a maximum of $25,000. The notice would be reviewable by both the CRA and the Federal Court at the request of the taxpayer.

If the taxpayer who is suspected of owing over $50,000 in unpaid taxes in a year continues to refuse to comply with a CRA request, the budget also promises to impose a 10 per cent penalty if the government successfully goes through the costly process of getting a compliance order from a judge.

“The proposed penalty… would create an incentive for taxpayers to comply with the original request for information or assistance,” reads the budget.

Cancel your cellphone plan online

Annoyed by the constant barrage of hoops and retention offers cellphone companies throw at you after forcing you to call them to cancel your service? So is the government apparently.

The budget promises to amend the Telecommunications Act to compel cellphone carriers to provide “self-service” options like an online portal to allow customers to change or end their plans with their provider.

The changes will also bar cellphone companies from charging customers a fee to switch to another carrier and they will also have to inform their clients of other plans when their contract is coming to term.

Ottawa to host Ironman Triathlon in 2025

The city of Ottawa will be hosting the Ironman Canada Triathlon in 2025.

It will be the first full-distance Ironman event to be held in Ottawa. The event is scheduled to take place Aug. 3, 2025.

  • Sign up now for daily CTV News Ottawa newsletters
  • The information you need to know, sent directly to you: Download the CTV News App

"We are thrilled to announce this new partnership with Ottawa and bring Ironman Canada-Ottawa, one of our most historic race franchises, to the Canadian capital," said Ironman VP of North American operations Keats McGonigal in a news release. "Ottawa offers the quintessential Canadian race environment with a plethora of outdoor activities, great weather and a mosaic of culture all nestled at the very seat of government. Ironman Canada has played a prominent role in the history of Ironman and will continue with the expansion to Ottawa. We are enthusiastic and excited to see what futures hold here in Ottawa, Ontario."

The triathlon will begin at Britannia Beach, with a 3.8-kilometre two-loop swim in the Ottawa River.

ottawa parliament tour tickets

From there, the 180-km bike portion will run along NCC and city roads, including the Kichi Zibi Mikan, the Queen Elizabeth Driveway, Laurier Avenue, Nicholas Street, Sussex Drive, and the Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway. Roads will be closed to traffic for the event.

"One of the really unique selling points for this race in particular is it's highly urban," said Ironman regional director Dave Christen. "To be able to race in front of Parliament like we are, to be able to finish eventually in front of Parliament as well, to pass through the city streets of this great capital city."

Finally, the marathon run will begin at Parliament Hill, run along Wellington Street before looping to head south on Colonel By Drive alongside the Rideau Canal to Hog's Back and then back up the Queen Elizabeth Driveway to Parliament Hill.

"I am thrilled to welcome the Ironman Canada competition to Ottawa," said Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe. "I love this city and so will you. There are so many triathletes in Ottawa. And it's an absolutely stunning and beautiful place to swim, bike and run. It's also the perfect location for outdoor adventures and world class events, especially an event as prestigious as Ironman Canada. Ottawa is a great place for this amazing competition. Everyone from athletes to families, friends and fans will have an amazing race experience here. I look forward to seeing everyone here in August 2025."

Sutcliffe told CTV News he does not intend to compete in the Ottawa Ironman. While he's an avid marathon runner, who will be running the London Marathon during a trade mission abroad, he said his mayoral responsibilities prevent him from training for this triathlon.

"I would love to, if I could, but training for an Ironman is a completely different level of training than training for a marathon and I don't have that kind of time unfortunately, so I'll be there cheering people on," he said.

General registration opens April 22 on the Ironman website.  The Ironman Canada-Ottawa triathlon, part of the VinFast Ironman North America Series, will offer qualifying slots to the 2026 VinFast Ironman World Championship.

Rick Hellard, who has competed in Ironman events, says it takes a lot of effort to prepare.

"The actual race day isn't that bad," Hellard said. "It's the getting ready for it, all the preparation, because it takes years to get there and it's being consistent with the training."

The event is also expected to provide a major tourism boost for the city, bringing top athletes and their families to the capital.

"This event showcases the resilience and determination of athletes from far and wide, leaving a legacy of excellence in our city," said Ottawa Tourism president and CEO Michael Crockatt. "We're confident about this partnership and believe this will significantly contribute to our local economy, grow our sports tourism market, inspire our community, and further showcase our ability to host world-class events. Ottawa's scenic landscapes and vibrant communities are ready to welcome participants and spectators alike for an unforgettable experience."
