The adjustable stiff arm is made of nylon plastic and lightweight aluminum, and although it doesn’t take up much room, we had to jostle the bag to get the stiff arm in with the golf clubs. With the smaller-sized interior, we appreciated the two large exterior pockets that can fit items like shoes, clothing, or sunscreen. The fully-packed bag is comfortable to carry with top, bottom, and middle straps that evenly distribute the weight of the lengthy bag and we liked how it can stand up on its own.

After flying with this Club Glove design, there weren’t any scuffs or damage to the bag. The exterior of the bag is made of water-resistant ballistic nylon fabric and the backing has single webbing reinforcement — a common fabric used for climbing, military gear, and parachutes.

The Izzo High Roller golf bag impressed us with how easy it was to transport by wheeling or carrying it. The six wheels on the bottom of the bag make it possible to push or pull it while standing upright. In addition, the bag can collapse down to just 12 inches for easy storage while traveling or at home.

While the bag felt a little top-heavy while being wheeled through an airport, the handles made it easy to lift and hold onto while rolling the bag. Even if the bag were to fall over, it has a solid amount of protective padding on the inside and outside, and it’s made of tear-resistant nylon that feels sturdy and durable. The interior of the bag is large enough for golf clubs and extra shirts, and the exterior pocket is big enough for a pair of golf shoes, but it was a tighter fit than we would’ve preferred. We think the Izzo High Roller bag is perfect for golfers who could benefit from having exceptional portability and durability while traveling through airports.

The bags with the highest ratings for capacity were spacious with extra room leftover, and the best performing bags for design had thoughtful and intuitive features that had golfers in mind and made packing easier.

After packing up the travel bags, our traveling golfers tested portability by carrying and wheeling the bag to get a feel for how it maneuvers. The top performing bags for portability were exceptionally easy to lift and wheel with comfortable, padded straps and handles. Durability of the travel bags was tested when they were transported by airplane or car. Our five-star ratings for durability went to the travel bags that had no damage to the exterior or items on the interior after being used and gave us confidence that they would hold up well with prolonged use. Golf travel bags are relatively inexpensive. A standard, soft case travel bag will cost around $150 AUD ($95 USD) while a travel bag with a hard plastic exterior can cost anywhere up to $450 AUD ($280 USD).

The more expensive cases with harder outer plastic usually cost more than the soft cases as they provide a greater level of protection for your golf clubs.

I did that on my first interstate golf trip – instead of using a travel bag, I crammed a few towels in between the heads of my golf clubs, strapped on the rain hood that came with the bag and then duct taped it shut.

While it did the job well enough, it was a pretty finnicky, annoying process and didn’t provide my clubs with a very good level of protection during the flight.

I was fortunate that I avoided any damage ; but I didn’t want to take that chance again and before my next trip, I went out and bought a soft case bag.

Since then, I’ve used it a few times and it has made the process so much easier – all the while keeping my clubs way safer than any makeshift method ever could.

With dimensions of 13 x 15 x 50 inches, the Amazon Basics bag is plenty big enough to house golf bags of all sizes.

Athletico Padded Golf Travel Bag

The Athletico Padded Golf Travel Bag is another great budget option that protects your clubs by way of thick, soft padding.

While the Athletico model has a few less storage pockets than the Amazon Basics bag, much of the other features are the same – however, it doesn’t come with wheels, which may be a deal-breaker for many people as it makes transportation more difficult.

The best thing about the Athletico bag, aside from its budget price, is that it’s slightly larger than the Amazon model (12 x 14 x 53 inches) which may accommodate bags on the bigger end of the scale, such as Tour bags .

It is easy to carry thanks to two Velcro handles, while a set of high-quality wheels means you can pull the bag behind you with no problem.

The Himal Outdoors bag is slightly smaller than others – with dimensions of 13.4 x 13.7 x 48.8 inches – however is a perfectly good option if you’re looking for something with a little extra support and fortification for your clubs.

A great alternative to the CaddyDaddy Enforcer is the BagBoy T10 Hard Top Golf Travel Bag .

Personally, I’m a huge fan of Bag Boy as a brand (I use one of their push carts whenever I play) and can vouch for their quality manufacturing.

Like the CaddyDaddy, the T10 is a hybrid design with a hard top mixed with a soft, padded body.

Where the Bag Boy slightly outperforms other rivals in this price range is the extra storage – with two generous side pockets giving you plenty of added space to stash balls, shoes , shirts or other accessories.

However, the soft casing is slightly thinner than the CaddyDaddy, which is something to take into consideration.

If I had to choose, I’m leaning with the CaddyDaddy – however, it really is a toss of the coin and if you love the Bag Boy brand, this is still a great option when it comes to a mid-priced travel bag.

SKB Deluxe Golf Travel Bag

If you want the ultimate level of protection for your golf clubs when travelling, then the SKB Deluxe Golf Travel Bag is ideal.

This really is the ‘Fort Knox’ of travel bags, with the thick hard plastic polyethylene outer shell ensuring the chances of your clubs sustaining any damage in transit are virtually zero.

The bag comes with a TSA locking system for ease of airline travel, while industrial strength latches prevent the case from popping open mid-trip.

The SKB Deluxe is also large enough to accommodate bags of all sizes – from carry bags to cart bags .

Of course, this added protection comes at a cost, with the price tag noticeably higher than all the other options on this list.

But if safety and peace of mind are most important to you, then the SKB Deluxe is absolutely worth the added cost.

Do airlines charge extra for golf bags?

Some airlines charge extra for golf bags, while some don’t. American Airlines and Jetstar are two popular carriers that charge up to $30 USD for oversized baggage, such as golf clubs. However, many other airlines do not charge extra fees – such as United, Qantas, Canadian and Singapore airlines.

Can you take golf clubs in an Uber?

Yes, you can take your golf clubs in an Uber. If you are travelling alone, you should have no problem fitting your golf bag into the boot/trunk of a standard Uber X. If you are travelling with friends, you may need to upgrade to an Uber XL in order to fit more than one golf bag in.

PGM Golf is a brand that hasn’t exactly penetrated the market as much as other upstart golf club OEMs like Founders Club and PXG.

But that could very well change in the next few years. PGM may soon become a prominent brand because of their huge array of products and the quality of their higher end golf clubs.

PGM Golf makes a ton of golf gear including apparel, balls, shoes and golf club bags. But how do their golf clubs stack up against major brands like Callaway and Titleist? Are their golf clubs even worth it? In the following article, we will be shedding some light on this brand and reviewing some of their more popular golf clubs.

Where Are PGM Golf Clubs Made?

PGM Golf is a Chinese company. In fact, they are the top-selling golf gear brand in China. Naturally, their products, including their golf clubs, are manufactured in China. The company boasts a 50,000 square meter production and research facility in the region of Guangdong, China.

The PGM G300 Complete Golf Club Set includes a 460cc titanium face driver, #3 wood, #5 wood, #4 hybrid, irons 5-9, pitching wedge, sand wedge and a blade-style putter. This set has every club you need for a full round on par 5 courses.

The driver feels nice and clean on impact and delivers really clear feedback as well. The irons are cast from stainless steel so they don’t have the softest feel; but they have deep cavity backs so they are very forgiving. The irons actually have fairly strong lofts for a game improvement set so if you are a naturally low-launch player, you might have some difficulty getting the height you need out of these irons. Other than that though, this is a solid beginner’s golf club set at an unbeatable price.

The PGM G300 Complete Golf Club Set includes a really nice stand bag for under $400. This makes it a great deal for any beginner or high handicapper looking for a bargain.

#2 – PGM Rio Women’s Complete Set Review

The PGM Rio Women’s Complete Set is comprised of a 460cc forged titanium driver, #3 fairway wood, #4 hybrid, #5 hybrid, irons 6-9, pitching wedge, sand wedge and a mallet style putter.

I was really surprised at the quality of the driver and irons of this set. The forged titanium face of the driver delivers a soft feel, hot speed and clear feedback. The CNC milled faces of the irons also allows for very clear feedback and a good deal of workability/spin control. I was able to stop the ball on the green from 150+ yards out with the long irons.

The white and pink color scheme of the clubs and the premium bag are a nice touch. I also liked the fact that there are two hybrids to replace the longer irons.

The PGM Rio Women’s Complete Set is an unbeatable bargain for lady golfers who want a complete set that can hold up to clubs made from major manufacturers.

#3 – pgm nsr 3 junior golf club set review.

One of the things I liked the most about this set for kids was that the woods and irons come equipped with graphite shafts. This eliminates a lot of the harsh vibration that deter kids from taking full swings. It also allows for faster club head speeds and distance.

Overall, I think this is a good set for building a child golfer’s confidence. It consists of a driver, a hybrid iron, irons 7-9, sand wedge and a mallet style putter. I have my doubts about the durability of these clubs; but I didn’t spend enough time with them to be able to confirm that they were in fact, not durable.

The irons have a cavity back design and oversized head shape so they should be easy to hit with from the tee or the turf. The loft on all the clubs is very high which again, should instill confidence in junior players.

What Age is it for?

The club shafts should work for kids between 3’9” and 4’5”. That should cover kids 5 to about 11 years old.

Ok so this is really more of a novelty set but I included it because I know that there are parents out there who really want to get their kids interested in golf at an early age. The PGM Children’s Golf Club Set includes a mini putter, mini driver and a mini 9-iron. All of the club heads are plastic so really, these are more like toys.

But I can see a very young child getting a hang of swing basics with these clubs. It’s really a set that’s helpful when you want to let your child be involved in your practice sessions. The most important thing for really young kids is having lightweight clubs and the PGM Children’s Golf Club Set is definitely lightweight.

The PGM Children’s Golf Club Set is good for kids between the ages of two and five. The clubs are comfortable, lightweight and the set is very affordable.

#5 – PGM Wedge Review

The PGM Wedge is set at 72° and is available in either a black or chrome finish. It also has a CNC milled face which allows for really good spin control no matter what lie you find yourself in. The sole is nice and wide which helps with turf interaction in less-than-perfect lies.

The PGM Wedge sports a traditional stepped steel shaft so you get good club head and distance control. I really liked the launch I was getting with this club. It was high enough to land the ball dead on the green from 30+ yards out. On perfect lies, it can be used from even further out. It’s a great wedge for flop shots and to help you get out of the sand.

The only gripe I had about this club was that the stock grip wasn’t very tacky. I felt like I had less control over the butt of the club as a result. But that is a really easy fix if you just swap out the grip with one of your liking.

The PGM Wedge is a great addition to your bag if you’re missing a solid sand wedge. It was more versatile than I thought it would be so it would also be great if you want to be prepared for any kind of lie.

The PGM Chipper is available as a 35 or 43 degree club. I tested the 35° since I don’t need that much help around the green. Still, it’s nice to know that the extra help is available for players who need it.

The club head felt a bit heavy; but that allows for more control on chip shots. It took me a few swings to get used to the weight but it was no problem once I did. The CG is nice and low and I was able to hit controlled, high-arcing shots from the cabbage, sand and the fairway.

The PGM Chipper is for 25+ handicappers who want to get on the green quicker and easier.

I think I read somewhere that large bags have to be checked in at a cloakroom when visiting the Kremlin, what counts as a large bag or do all bags have to be checked in? Do you need to do this before you queue for tickets?

We had small backpacks and they had to be handed in. Then you go and queue for your tickets.

Handbags (ladies' purses and small camera bags) are permitted, but backpacks and larger bags must be checked. When you go through security, the officer will glance inside your handbag to make sure all is OK.

Checking my husband's backpack was no problem. The check room outside the Kremlin is large. There were no lines either at check in or at pick up.

Leave them at the hotel if you can. AIM.

we were in the Kremlin 10 days ago and we had to check out backpacks. The one thing to remember is the bag check in closes at 6 p.m. so it is up to you to make sure you are back at the baggage check by that time. Also, towards the end of the day, the line to retrieve items can be quite long because everyone is waiting until the last minute to pick up their bags. Depends on how crowded they are
