Registering for Live Events

Types of ticketing.

To purchase tickets:

• Open the Pokémon GO app

• On the following page, all upcoming live events will be listed, starting with the soonest event at the top

First-Come-First-Served Ticketing

Entering a ticket drawing.

• After receiving the email, return to the Events menu and tap the event for which you won the drawing. The following page will now show a Get Tickets button. Use it to begin your registration.
• Choose the event date, time, and quantity of tickets that you would like to buy. Read the descriptions carefully to find the best choice for you, but note that you can only choose one date and ticket type for your entire order.
• Assign any extra tickets to other Trainers (see the next section).
• Review your order, agree to the Niantic Terms of Service , confirm you have read the Niantic Privacy Policy , and complete your payment (if necessary).
• Once complete, you will receive a confirmation email. The Events page will also update with a "virtual ticket" and a button to view your order at any time.

Reserving Tickets for Other Trainers (for orders with 2+ tickets):

Child account event registration (niantic kids & pokémon trainer club).

• The parent or guardian must be logged into their Pokémon GO account.
• Enter the event drawing through the parent or guardian’s account by following the drawing instructions above.
• Monitor the parent or guardian’s email for a notification email indicating that they’ve won the chance to purchase event tickets.
• When selecting the event date and time, be sure to add additional tickets for each child account that will also be in attendance.
• Complete your ticket purchase by following the purchase instructions above, ensuring that the child’s username is selected on the Friend selection screen (Note: Parent and child do not need to be Friends to select the child’s username on the Friend selection screen).
• The parent/guardian must have a Pokémon GO account in order to purchase tickets or enter a drawing.
• The email associated with the parent/guardian’s Pokémon GO account must match the parent/guardian’s email address on file with Niantic Kids/Pokémon Trainer Club.
• When claiming tickets, the parent/guardian can input their child’s username on the friend selection screen, where the relationship will be validated. Attempts by any other account to register tickets for children will not be allowed.
• Unlike with standard accounts, a parent and child don’t need to be Friends to select the child’s username.

How to get Pokémon Go Safari Zone Tickets – 2021

The Pokémon Go event, Safari Zone, is going in a different direction moving forward. To accommodate players who won’t travel to specific cities to attend these events, you can still buy a ticket and participate in the event without leaving your hometown. The Safari Zone cities will still be happening, and if players can attend, great, but it’s not going to be a requirement. To prepare for the upcoming Safari Zone events, here’s where you need to go to purchase Pokémon Go Safari Zone tickets for the 2021 events.

From what we can tell, no additional tickets were added to this event from when they were initially offered in 2020. So if you still had a ticket for these events, you’ll be able to participate in them. You can choose to do that in person or virtually. However, if you’re trying to purchase these tickets, it looks like none of them are available, and no tickets have been added by Niantic at this time.

Three Safari Zone events are happening in 2021. You can participate in the Liverpool, Philadelphia, and the St. Louis ones, each with a different date. You’ll have to visit a specific website to buy tickets for each one. The Liverpool event will be happening from October 15 to 17, the Philadelphia event will be from October 29 to 31, and the St. Louis event will be from November 12 to 14.

If you plan to attend any of these events in person, you will perform an event check-in and RSVP your spot. This way, Niantic can gain a rough estimate of how many people are planning to show up for the event, giving them an idea of how they need to prepare for that, and inform the local city about this information.

While you cannot buy a Safari Zone ticket, if you were able to do this, you’d need to go to the Pokémon Go application, click the ‘Poké Ball’ menu while you’re on the map, and then tap the ‘events’ tab. A list of all the Safari Zones will be available, allowing you to purchase a ticket for the event. In addition, you’ll have the option to purchase tickets for yourself and other players. Some tickets might be offered a ticket drawing, which you will need to enter. They will be offered a first-come-first-serve basis.

If the Safari Tickets for this round turn out to be a success, similar to Pokémon Go Fest 2020, we can expect additional Safari Zones to work like this in the future, making it easier for worldwide players to participate in these events.

Event gameplay will be available only at the date, time, and location specified on your ticket.

Pokemon GO Releases Wonder Ticket Part 3

Niantic releases the third and final part of The Wonder Ticket in Pokemon GO, allowing players the opportunity to catch a rare Pokemon.

• The third part of the Wonder Ticket in Pokemon GO unlocks on May 1, offering encounters with Ultra Beast Poipole and other Poison-type Pokemon.
• Players can expect rewards like star pieces, poffins, incense modules, and more if they complete the research challenges by June 14.
• Additional Ultra Beasts, Blacephalon and Stakataka, will be added to 5-star raids on May 21, with regional availability and remote raid options.

The final part of The Wonder Ticket in Pokemon GO is being rolled out by Niantic, with the developer surprising players with another chance to catch the Ultra Beast Poipole. With the latest season of Pokemon GO , Niantic introduced the Wonder Ticket, a season-long pass broken into three parts that ties into the World of Wonders season.

Each part allows players additional research challenges to collect certain Pokemon. Previous rewards included limited gear for the revamped Pokemon GO avatars and encounters with every Eevee evolution, each adorned with special cherry blossoms. With part 3 of the ticket due to unlock on May 1, players can now see what rewards will be available to them.

Pokemon GO Fans Accuse the Game of 'Misleading Marketing'

The third part of the Pokemon GO Wonder Ticket will be active for trainers from May 1, 2024, until June 14, 2024. This latest timed research will include another encounter with the Ultra Beast, Poipole, along with offering encounters with other Poison-type Pokemon, including Trubbish and Skrelp. Additional goodies, like the star piece, poffins, and incense modules, will also be available to players provided the research challenges are completed before they expire on June 14.

News of adding a second Poipole to the Pokedex would be a welcome announcement to some players. Poipole made its Pokemon GO debut at the start of the World of Wonders Season on March 1, and while it was available to all players, it hasn’t been seen since. Currently, Poipole has yet to be added to any raids, so the second Ultra Beast is another chance for players to get a Poipole with perfect stats. The additional candy gained will also be useful when Niantic eventually allows players to evolve Poipole into Naganadel.

For those who want to take the plunge, The Wonder Ticket is still available via the in-game shop or the Pokemon GO website. If players purchase the ticket, this will unlock the new challenges and rewards along with the two previous research tasks available as part of The Wonder Ticket . Gamers will have until the end of the current season on June 14, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time to complete all challenges, or they will disappear for good.

Along with the additional Poipole, this isn’t the only Ultra Beast players can look forward to catching in the coming days. On May 21, Niantic will add Blacephalon and Stakataka to Pokemon GO into 5-star raids. Blacephalon will appear in the Western hemisphere, with Stakataka only available in the Eastern hemisphere. Although these Ultra Beasts will be region-locked, players will be able to join these raids remotely, provided they have friends in the applicable region.

After a test run via an April Fools' joke on Google Maps, Pokemon GO was released to the public in the summer of 2016. The AR mobile app saw unparalleled success and continues to be one of the largest mobile games in the world, pulling in billions for developer Niantic.

T he Pokémon North America International Championships (NAIC) are the third and final International Championships event of the 2024 Championship Series season. This event is the final opportunity for competitors to earn Championship Points toward their World Championships invitation, and it features exciting competitions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game , the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games (VGC), Pokémon GO , and Pokémon UNITE .

This season’s NAIC event will take place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, from June 7 to June 9, 2024. It will award high amounts of Championship Points and more than $500,000 USD in prizes, spread across the Pokémon TCG, Pokémon VGC, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE competitions.

Some tournaments begin on Friday, June 7, and others on Saturday, June 8. Please visit each competition’s page for a complete schedule.

Registration

All attendees, both spectators and competitors, will need to log in to the event registration portal with their Google account. First-time registrants will be prompted to create a profile, and prior registrants will be able to edit their profile information.

Users can choose to create or edit their account in advance of the opening of registration. When registration opens on April 25, attendees will need to log in, register, and pay to secure a pass. Online registration is required to participate and only a limited number of passes are available.

Registration will be divided into two waves at the following times:

Wave 1: April 25, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. PDT / 7:00 p.m. CDT

Wave 2: April 26, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. PDT / 9:00 a.m. CDT

Registration for this event is open to all competitors in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program. Competitors must have an active Play! Pokémon account with current and accurate information.

After registering on the event registration portal, competitors will need to finalize their tournament registration on RK9.gg . Team and deck lists will need to be submitted on RK9.gg at the appropriate time.

Competitor registration will close on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 9:59 p.m. PDT (11:59 p.m. CDT) or when passes sell out.

Competitors with Travel Awards and Travel Stipends will receive separate information about early registration.

Badges for this event can be picked up on-site at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in the Hall H-J Lobby (enter via Hall I-1) or at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) at the Info Desk on Level 1, between doors 3 and 4. Niantic has revealed the tasks and rewards for the third part of the Wonder Ticket for Pokemon GO 's World of Wonders season. This event gives players a chance to get an array of rewards and special Pokemon, via an exclusive Timed Research.

It has been quite an eventful season for Pokemon GO players, with a series of exciting events taking place in the game. Be it the debut of new Pokemon and shiny boosts via Special, Timed, and Field Research or the return of some fan-favorite ones, fans got a plethora of rewards throughout the season. The World of Wonders season will be soon drawing to a close, but Niantic still has some interesting events to mark the end of the season. The third part of the Wonder Ticket is here, and players will get a chance to Poipole once again, alongside items such as Stardust , XP, Candy, and a plethora of other items. Here is all players need to know about the Timed Research for Wonder Ticket Part 3.

Pokemon GO A Glimpse of Daylight - All Timed Research Tasks And Rewards

For players who don't already own the ticket, they can buy it for $9.99. There is still a lot of time remaining before the event ends, so players can still hop into the Timed Research and get a plethora of rewards. The Ticket runs from Friday, March 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, June 14, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time .

It is crucial to note that, unlike the Special Research, these are time-sensitive. This means that players will need to complete the tasks and rewards before Friday, June 14, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. When it comes to the Ticket itself, that will only be available in the game until June 1, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time. Considering the fact that the tasks are not that difficult, it isn't a bad idea to get the ticket right at the deadline as well.

It will expire on July 13 , meaning you have a little over two months to finish all of its content while various Go Fest events are going on around the world. 

Total Rewards: Three Golden Razz Berries, one Sun Crown avatar item, and 3,000 XP Once you finish this Timed Research and claim your Sun Crown, you just need to wait until June 6, when a second set of Timed Research will be made available for ticket holders that will contain the matching Moon Crown as a reward . And don’t forget to catch your free Diancie too.

Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore

Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore is happening from Friday, November 18, 2022, to Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore—and tickets are on sale now ! You’ll encounter Pokémon themed around the Pokémon Air Adventures such as Flying Pikachu, Lapras, and Maractus. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Purrloin—if you’re lucky!

Trainers who purchase an Early Access ticket can experience event gameplay within Gardens by the Bay from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the event day of their choice.

Please note: you may only attend one day of this three-day event.

Please take all of your garbage home with you.

There will be some charging stations provided inside the park. Look for objects with the word POWERBANK written on them. However, we suggest bringing your own portable chargers due to the limited number of stations available.

Please speak to staff at the Information desk during the event if you lose any items while in Gardens by the Bay. Please note that the remaining items will be disposed of once the event ends, and that we will not be responsible for any lost and found items thereafter.

• This event will be held regardless of the weather. However, it may be canceled in the case of extreme weather or natural disasters. The event may also be canceled depending on current COVID-19 guidelines.
• Please check weather forecasts prior to attending the event and wear appropriate clothing.
