- Pay from your pocket and claim for reimbursement later.
- Register your claim.
- As per the guidance of the claims department, submit all the relevant documents and medical bills to the specified address.
- Verification and authentication of the submitted bills.
- If your claim is approved, after deductible the eligible claim amount equivalent in Indian currency is reimbursed to the policy holder.
Some of the general exclusions of Reliance overseas health insurance which are not covered are as below:
- Any claims before the insurance start date and after the insurance end date are not payable.
- Any pre-existing condition unless it is life-saving emergency condition.
- Traveling abroad only to take medical treatment or traveling against the advice of the physician.
- Policy holder taking part in a naval, military or air force operation.
- Any claim caused intentionally or by committing a crime or as a result of drunkenness or addiction (drugs, alcohol).
- Any claim arising out of mental disorder, anxiety, stress, depression, HIV / AIDS
- Any claim arising out of sporting activities.
- Any act of terrorism, war and more.

In case the Insured / Insured Person is hospitalized for more than seven consecutive days. The company will reimburse the return fare for an immediate family member to visit the insured.
