Is Time Travel Possible?

We all travel in time! We travel one year in time between birthdays, for example. And we are all traveling in time at approximately the same speed: 1 second per second.

NASA's space telescopes also give us a way to look back in time. Telescopes help us see stars and galaxies that are very far away . It takes a long time for the light from faraway galaxies to reach us. So, when we look into the sky with a telescope, we are seeing what those stars and galaxies looked like a very long time ago.

However, when we think of the phrase "time travel," we are usually thinking of traveling faster than 1 second per second. That kind of time travel sounds like something you'd only see in movies or science fiction books. Could it be real? Science says yes!

How do we know that time travel is possible?

More than 100 years ago, a famous scientist named Albert Einstein came up with an idea about how time works. He called it relativity. This theory says that time and space are linked together. Einstein also said our universe has a speed limit: nothing can travel faster than the speed of light (186,000 miles per second).

What does this mean for time travel? Well, according to this theory, the faster you travel, the slower you experience time. Scientists have done some experiments to show that this is true.

For example, there was an experiment that used two clocks set to the exact same time. One clock stayed on Earth, while the other flew in an airplane (going in the same direction Earth rotates).

After the airplane flew around the world, scientists compared the two clocks. The clock on the fast-moving airplane was slightly behind the clock on the ground. So, the clock on the airplane was traveling slightly slower in time than 1 second per second.

Can we use time travel in everyday life?

We can't use a time machine to travel hundreds of years into the past or future. That kind of time travel only happens in books and movies. But the math of time travel does affect the things we use every day.

For example, we use GPS satellites to help us figure out how to get to new places. (Check out our video about how GPS satellites work .) NASA scientists also use a high-accuracy version of GPS to keep track of where satellites are in space. But did you know that GPS relies on time-travel calculations to help you get around town?

GPS satellites orbit around Earth very quickly at about 8,700 miles (14,000 kilometers) per hour. This slows down GPS satellite clocks by a small fraction of a second (similar to the airplane example above).

However, the satellites are also orbiting Earth about 12,550 miles (20,200 km) above the surface. This actually speeds up GPS satellite clocks by a slighter larger fraction of a second.

Here's how: Einstein's theory also says that gravity curves space and time, causing the passage of time to slow down. High up where the satellites orbit, Earth's gravity is much weaker. This causes the clocks on GPS satellites to run faster than clocks on the ground.

The combined result is that the clocks on GPS satellites experience time at a rate slightly faster than 1 second per second. Luckily, scientists can use math to correct these differences in time.

If scientists didn't correct the GPS clocks, there would be big problems. GPS satellites wouldn't be able to correctly calculate their position or yours. The errors would add up to a few miles each day, which is a big deal. GPS maps might think your home is nowhere near where it actually is!

In Summary:

Yes, time travel is indeed a real thing. But it's not quite what you've probably seen in the movies. Under certain conditions, it is possible to experience time passing at a different rate than 1 second per second. And there are important reasons why we need to understand this real-world form of time travel.

उनका मानना था की समय जिस रफ़्तार से पृथ्वी पर गुजर रहा है उसी प्रकार ब्रह्माण्ड में दूर कही किसी दूसरे ग्रह पर भी समय इसी रफ़्तार से गुजर रहा होगा ! लेकिन आइंस्टीन ने लोगों की इस अवधारणा को गलत साबित कर समय की एक अलग परिभाषा दी !

अल्बर्ट आइंस्टीन ने बताया कि समय और अंतरिक्ष एक दूसरे से जुड़े हुए हैं ! जिसे Space Time कहते हैं ! समय एक 4th डायमेंशन यानी चौथा आयाम है और समय की गति को धीमा या तेज किया जा सकता है।

इंग्लैंड के मशहूर लेखक हर्बट जार्ज वेल्स ने 1895 में ‘द टाइम मशीन’ नामक एक उपन्यास प्रकाशित किया, तो समूचे युरोप में तहलका मच गया। इस उपन्यास में वेल्स ने ‘टाइम मशीन’ की अद्भुत कल्पना की। हालांकि वेल्स के उपन्यास में व्यावहारिक रूप से कई विसंगतियां है।

समय यात्रा सम्भव या नहीं? (Time travel possible or not in hindi)

अगर वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण से देखा जाए तो समय यात्रा संभव है। अगर देखा जाए तो हम सभी समय में यात्रा कर रहे हैं। हम सभी भूतकाल से निकल कर वर्तमान में होते हुए लगातार भविष्य की ओर बढ़ते चले जा रहे हैं और इसी को ही समय यात्रा कहते हैं। हमारी समय में यात्रा की दर 1 घंटे प्रति घंटे की दर से है यानी की हमें भविष्य में 1 घंटा आगे जाने के लिए 1 घंटे का ही समय अंतराल लगेगा । अगर हमने इस दर को 1 घंटे प्रति घंटे की दर से अधिक कर दिया तो समय की यात्रा की जा सकती है।

आइंस्टीन ने अपने विशेष सापेक्षता के सिद्धांत में बताया कि समय यात्रा संभव है। आइंस्टीन ने बताया कि अगर कोई वस्तु जितनी ज्यादा तेजी से चलेगी उसके लिए समय उतना ही धीमा होता जाएगा और वस्तु किसी स्थिर पर्यवेक्षक के सापेक्ष भविष्य मे होगी।

ऐसे कहा जाता है कि भविष्य की यात्रा करना संभव है परंतु भूतकाल की यात्रा करना किसी भी प्रकार से तर्कसंगत प्रतीत नहीं होता है। स्टीफन हॉकिंस ने बताया कि अगर भूतकाल यात्रा संभव भी है, और अगर हम टाइम मशीन भविष्य में बना भीं पाए तो टाइम मशीन के बनाने के समय से पहले की यात्रा संभव नहीं है।

समय यात्रा के 5 तरीके (5 ways of time travel in hindi):

1. स्पीड (speed).

यह भविष्य में जाने का सबसे आसान और सबसे व्यावहारिक तरीका है।

आइंस्टीन के विशेष सापेक्षता के सिद्धांत के अनुसार, जब हम प्रकाश की गति के निकट गति पर यात्रा करते हैं, तो बाहरी दुनिया के सापेक्ष हमारे लिए समय धीमा हो जाता है। इसे ‘समय फैलाव’ (Time dilation) कहते हैं।

यह सिर्फ एक अनुमान या विचार नहीं है – इसे मापा गया है। दो परमाणु घड़ियों (एक जेट विमान में उड़ने वाला तथा एक पृथ्वी पर  स्थिर) का उपयोग करके भौतिकविदों ने बताया है कि जेट की गति की वजह से उसमें रखी घड़ी धीमी गति से चलती है।

2. गुरुत्व (Gravity)

यह विधि भी आइंस्टीन ने ही दी है। सामान्य सापेक्षता के सिद्धांत के मुताबिक, जितना मजबूत गुरुत्वाकर्षण लगता है, समय उतना ही धीमा चलता है।

जैसे ही आप पृथ्वी के केंद्र के करीब आते हैं, गुरुत्वाकर्षण की शक्ति बढ़ जाती है। उदाहरण के लिए,हमारे सिर के मुकाबले हमारे पैरों के लिए समय धीमा हो जाता है।

फिर, इस प्रभाव को मापा भी गया है। 2010 में, यूएस नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ स्टैंडर्ड एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (एनआईएसटी) के भौतिकविदों ने शेल्फ (shelves) पर दो परमाणु घड़ियों को रखा, जो एक दूसरे से 33 सेंटीमीटर ऊपर थी, और टिकिंग की दर (rate of ticking) में अंतर को मापा और पाया कि निचली घडी थोड़ा धीमी हो गयी है क्योंकि यह थोड़ा मजबूत गुरुत्वाकर्षण महसूस करती है।

अतः स्पष्ट है कि भविष्य में यात्रा करने के लिए हमें अत्यंत ही मजबूत गुरुत्वाकर्षण क्षेत्र की आवश्यकता होगी जैसा कि ब्लैक होल में होता है।

3. निलंबित एनीमेशन (suspended animation):

जब हम किसी को निलंबित एनीमेशन की स्थिति में कहते हैं, तो हमारा मतलब है कि वे निष्क्रिय हैं और कुछ भी नहीं कर रहे हैं।

भविष्य में यात्रा करने का यह एक और तरीका हो सकता है कि हम समय की अपनी धारणा (perception) को धीमा कर दें, या अपनी शारीरिक प्रक्रियाओं को रोक दें और बाद में उन्हें पुन: आरम्भ करें।

बैक्टीरियल स्पायर्स (spores) निलंबित एनीमेशन की स्थिति में लाखों सालों तक जीवित रह सकते हैं, जब तक कि तापमान, नमी की सही स्थिति फिर से उनके मेटाबोलिस्म को शुरू नहीं करती। भालू और गिलहरी जैसे कुछ स्तनधारी हाइबरनेशन के दौरान अपने मेटाबोलिस्म को धीमा कर सकते हैं और भोजन एवं ऑक्सीजन की अपने कोशिकाओं की आवश्यकता को कम कर सकते हैं।

4. वार्म होल्स (warm holes):

सामान्य सापेक्षता सिद्धांत, स्पेस-टाइम के माध्यम से किसी शॉर्टकट की संभावना को भी मान्यता प्रदान करता है, जिसे वार्म होल्स के नाम से जाना जाता है। ये एक अरब प्रकाश वर्ष या उससे अधिक की दूरी के बीच या समय के विभिन्न बिंदुओं के बीच पुल का कार्य करने में सक्षम हो सकता है।

5. प्रकाश का प्रयोग करके (using light):

एक और विचार,अमेरिकी भौतिक विज्ञानी रॉन मैलेट द्वारा रखा गया और यह था, “स्पेस-टाइम को मोड़ने के लिए प्रकाश के घूर्णन सिलेंडर (rotating cylinder of light)का उपयोग”।

मैलेट के अनुसार, सही ज्यामिति (geometry) अतीत या भविष्य में जाने का कारण बन सकती है।

It is evident from the story that during the visit to Brahmlok by Rukmani and her father , their time run very slow in Brahmlok. We Already Know How to Build a Time Machine, Scientists Say

It’s just a matter of time before we build one that can take us into the far future.

“When Mr. Padalka came back from his adventures, he found the Earth to be 1/44th of a second to the future of where he expected it to be,” explains J. Richard Gott, Princeton physicist and author of the 2001 book Time Travel in Einstein’s Universe . “He literally traveled ... into the future.”

While being a fraction of a second younger than if he had stayed on Earth isn’t mind-bending stuff, it nonetheless gave Padalka the distinction of the “current time traveler record,” according to Gott.

Although not exactly a plutonium-charged DeLorean , time travel is anything but fiction. Real astrophysicists like Gott are pretty sure they know how to build a time machine, and intense speed—much, much faster than Padalka’s orbital jaunt—is the key ingredient.

A Brief Crash Course on Time Travel

Until the 20th century, time was believed to be completely immutable, and time travel a scientific impossibility. In the 1680s, Sir Isaac Newton’s thought time progressed at a consistent pace throughout the universe, regardless of outside forces or location. And for two centuries, the scientific world subscribed to Newton’s theory.

That is, until 26-year-old Albert Einstein came along.

In 1905, Einstein revealed his ideas on special relativity , using this framework for his theory of general relativity a decade later. Einstein’s universe-defining calculations introduced, well , lots of things, but also some concepts related to time. The most important being that time is elastic and dependent on speed, slowing down or speeding up depending on how fast an object—or person—is moving.

In 1971, four cesium-beam atomic clocks flew around the world and were then compared to ground-based clocks. The resulting minuscule time difference proved that Einstein was onto something. There’s also another technology, tucked inside your smartphone, that also validates Einstein’s theory.

“Without Einstein’s general theory of relatively, our GPS system wouldn’t be working,” says Ron Mallet, an astrophysicist and author of the book Time Traveler: A Scientist’s Personal Mission to Make Time Travel a Reality. “That’s also proof that Einstein’s [theories are] correct.”

But apart from this mutable version of time, Einstein also calculated the speed of light . At 300,000,000 meters (or 186,282 miles) per second, Einstein describes the figure as the “ultimate speed limit” and a universal constant no matter if one is sitting on a bench or traveling in a rocket ship.

The last bit of Einstein’s time-bending ideas suggest that gravity also slows time, meaning time runs faster where gravity is weaker, like the vast emptiness among massive celestial bodies like the sun, Jupiter, and Earth .

Fast forward a century later, and all of these theories—highly summarized, of course—now form the building blocks of astrophysics , and buried among all this expert-level math, Einstein also proved that time travel was possible.

The Subatomic Time Machine

In fact, not only is time travel possible, it’s already happened—it just doesn’t look like your typical sci-fi film .

Returning to our time-traveling cosmonaut Padalka, his 1/44th-second jump into the future is so minuscule because he was only traveling at 17,000 miles per hour. That isn’t very fast, at least in comparison to the speed of light. But what would happen if we created something that could go much faster than geostationary orbit? We’re not talking a commercial jetliner (550 to 600 miles an hour) or a 21st-century rocket to the ISS (25,000 miles per hour), but something that could approach 186,282 miles per second.

“On a subatomic level, it’s been done,” says Mallett. “An example is ... the Large Hadron Collider . It routinely sends subatomic particles into the future.”

The particle accelerator has the ability to propel protons at 99.999999 percent the speed of light, a speed at which their relative time is moving about 6,900 times slower compared to their stationary human observers.

So, yes, we’ve been sending atoms into the future and we’ve been doing it for the last decade, but humans are another matter.

Gott says given that we propel particles nearly the speed of light on a regular basis, conceptually, it’s rather simple for humans to time travel into the future. “If you want to visit Earth in the year 3000,” Gott says, “all you have to do is to get on a spaceship and go 99.995 percent the speed of light.”

Let’s say a human is put on such a ship and sent to a planet that’s a little less than 500 light years away (for example, Kepler 186f ), meaning if they traveled at 99.995 percent of the speed of light, it would take them about 500 years to get there, since they are going at nearly the speed of light.

After a quick snack and a bathroom break, they would then turn around and head back to Earth, which would take another 500 years. So in total, it would take about 1,000 years for them to arrive safely back home. And, on Earth, it would be the year 3022.

However, since they were moving so fast, the resulting time dilation wouldn’t seem like 1,000 years for them, since their internal clock has slowed. “[Their] clock will be ticking at 1/100th of the rate of the clocks on Earth. [They] are only going to age about 10 years,” says Gott. While a millennium would pass for us, for them it would be a decade.

“If we [on Earth] were watching through the window, they would be eating breakfast veeeerrry slooooowly,” says Gott, “But to [them], everything would be normal.”

But there is a massive gulf between what is theoretical and what is real. So how do we overcome the immense technological challenges of how to build a time machine?

The Not-So-Distant Future of Human Time Travel

Building a time-traveling spaceship may be the best place to start, but the engineering obstacles, at least for now, are enormous. For one, we are not even close to having a spaceship that can travel at the speed of light. The fastest spacecraft ever created is the Parker Solar Probe , which launched in 2018 with the mission to study the sun’s outer corona. It travels only .00067 percent the speed of light .

There’s also the enormous amount of energy that would be needed to propel a ship to go that fast. Gott suggests that highly efficient antimatter fuel could be the key; other world agencies and scientists also think such a fuel could be a potentially invaluable piece to interstellar travel .

But ensuring the safety of human cargo on such a futuristic mission would also be tricky. First of all, the ship would need to carry enough supplies—like food, water, and medicine— and be self-sufficient for the entire journey.

Then there’s the whole acceleration thing. To make sure our hypothetical traveler wouldn’t be obliterated by overwhelming g forces, the ship would need to gradually and steadily accelerate. While steady 1g acceleration (like what we feel on Earth) for a long period of time would eventually get the ship to approach near speed of light, it would add to the length of the trip and minimize how far in the future one could go.

Using our 500-light-year planet example, Gott predicts that the steady acceleration of 1g up to near light speed would increase the aging of the time traveler to 24 years, “but you would still get to visit Earth in the year 3000,” says Gott.

To create a vehicle with these specifications would require a lot of time, resources, and money. But the same can be said for other massively ambitious experiments, like detecting gravitational waves and building the Large Hadron Collider. A time machine could be the world’s next scientific megaproject .

The Trouble of Going in Reverse

But there is one big caveat to this theoretical portrait of real-world time travel— this machine doesn’t go in reverse . While Bill and Ted travel to the past to pick up Socrates with relative ease, in reality, scientists and researchers need to find a way to circumvent the rules of physics in order to travel back in time.

Wormholes , black holes, cosmic strings , and circulating light beams have all been suggested as potential solutions for time-traveling to the past. The main challenge that astrophysicists are grappling with is figuring out is how to beat a light beam to a point in spacetime and back.

“The technology isn’t far off ... we could do it in the next twenty years.”

Since the speed of light is the absolute maximum, physicists are concentrating on finding phenomena like wormholes, which could provide tunnel-like shortcuts that jump across curved spacetime and, in theory, beat a light beam to a particular point in spacetime.

While wormholes do work within the confines of Einstein’s theories of relativity, they have yet to be observed in space, and scientists have no concrete evidence that these galactic shortcuts would even work .

So while time traveling to the past may be the more exciting concept, scientists are much more likely to fling someone into the unknown future rather than the well-trodden past. But despite overwhelming odds—fiscal and scientific—Mallet believes the future of a time-traveling society is possible.

“What happened with going to the moon ... we wanted to go there, Kennedy asked for it, and there was proper funding so we got there within a decade,” Mallet says. “The technology isn’t far off. If the government and taxpayers wanted to pay for it, we could do it in the next 20 years.”

For now, wannabe time travelers will still have to look to science fiction for a time travel fix, with some movies being much more accurate than others.

“A good movie ... was the original Planet of the Apes ,” says Mallett. “The astronauts thought they had landed on another planet that was ruled by apes, but what they found out ... was that they had traveled so fast, that they had arrived into Earth’s future . That movie accurately depicts Einstein’s special theory of relativity.”

The dream of traveling through time is both ancient and universal. But where did humanity's fascination with time travel begin, and why is the idea so appealing?

The concept of time travel — moving through time the way we move through three-dimensional space — may in fact be hardwired into our perception of time . Linguists have recognized that we are essentially incapable of talking about temporal matters without referencing spatial ones. "In language — any language — no two domains are more intimately linked than space and time," wrote Israeli linguist Guy Deutscher in his 2005 book "The Unfolding of Language." "Even if we are not always aware of it, we invariably speak of time in terms of space, and this reflects the fact that we think of time in terms of space."

Deutscher reminds us that when we plan to meet a friend "around" lunchtime, we are using a metaphor, since lunchtime doesn't have any physical sides. He similarly points out that time can not literally be "long" or "short" like a stick, nor "pass" like a train, or even go "forward" or "backward" any more than it goes sideways, diagonal or down.

Perhaps because of this connection between space and time, the possibility that time can be experienced in different ways and traveled through has surprisingly early roots. One of the first known examples of time travel appears in the Mahabharata, an ancient Sanskrit epic poem compiled around 400 B.C., Lisa Yaszek, a professor of science fiction studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, told Live Science 

In the Mahabharata is a story about King Kakudmi, who lived millions of years ago and sought a suitable husband for his beautiful and accomplished daughter, Revati. The two travel to the home of the creator god Brahma to ask for advice. But while in Brahma's plane of existence, they must wait as the god listens to a 20-minute song, after which Brahma explains that time moves differently in the heavens than on Earth. It turned out that "27 chatur-yugas" had passed, or more than 116 million years, according to an online summary , and so everyone Kakudmi and Revati had ever known, including family members and potential suitors, was dead. After this shock, the story closes on a somewhat happy ending in that Revati is betrothed to Balarama, twin brother of the deity Krishna. 

Time is fleeting

To Yaszek, the tale provides an example of what we now call time dilation , in which different observers measure different lengths of time based on their relative frames of reference, a part of Einstein's theory of relativity.

Such time-slip stories are widespread throughout the world, Yaszek said, citing a Middle Eastern tale from the first century BCE about a Jewish miracle worker who sleeps beneath a newly-planted carob tree and wakes up 70 years later to find it has now matured and borne fruit (carob trees are notorious for how long they take to produce their first harvest). Another instance can be found in an eighth-century Japanese fable about a fisherman named Urashima Tarō who travels to an undersea palace and falls in love with a princess. Tarō finds that, when he returns home, 100 years have passed, according to a translation of the tale published online by the University of South Florida . 

In the early-modern era of the 1700 and 1800s, the sleep-story version of time travel grew more popular, Yaszek said. Examples include the classic tale of Rip Van Winkle, as well as books like Edward Belamy's utopian 1888 novel "Looking Backwards," in which a man wakes up in the year 2000, and the H.G. Wells 1899 novel "The Sleeper Awakes," about a man who slumbers for centuries and wakes to a completely transformed London.

In other stories from this period, people also start to be able to move backward in time. In Mark Twain’s 1889 satire "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court," a blow to the head propels an engineer back to the reign of the legendary British monarch. Objects that can send someone through time begin to appear as well, mainly clocks, such as in Edward Page Mitchell's 1881 story "The Clock that Went Backwards" or Lewis Carrol's 1889 children's fantasy "Sylvie and Bruno," where the characters possess a watch that is a type of time machine . 

The explosion of such stories during this era might come from the fact that people were "beginning to standardize time, and orient themselves to clocks more frequently," Yaszek said. 

Time after time

Wells provided one of the most enduring time-travel plots in his 1895 novella "The Time Machine," which included the innovation of a craft that can move forward and backward through long spans of time. "This is when we’re getting steam engines and trains and the first automobiles," Yaszek said. "I think it’s no surprise that Wells suddenly thinks: 'Hey, maybe we can use a vehicle to travel through time.'"

Because it is such a rich visual icon, many beloved time-travel stories written after this have included a striking time machine, Yaszek said, referencing The Doctor's blue police box — the TARDIS — in the long-running BBC series "Doctor Who," and "Back to the Future"'s silver luxury speedster, the DeLorean . 

More recently, time travel has been used to examine our relationship with the past, Yaszek said, in particular in pieces written by women and people of color. Octavia Butler's 1979 novel "Kindred" about a modern woman who visits her pre-Civil-War ancestors is "a marvelous story that really asks us to rethink black and white relations through history," she said. And a contemporary web series called " Send Me " involves an African-American psychic who can guide people back to antebellum times and witness slavery. 

"I'm really excited about stories like that," Yaszek said. "They help us re-see history from new perspectives."

Time travel has found a home in a wide variety of genres and media, including comedies such as "Groundhog Day" and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" as well as video games like Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" and the indie game "Braid." 

Yaszek suggested that this malleability and ubiquity speaks to time travel tales' ability to offer an escape from our normal reality. "They let us imagine that we can break free from the grip of linear time," she said. "And somehow get a new perspective on the human experience, either our own or humanity as a whole, and I think that feels so exciting to us." 

That modern people are often drawn to time-machine stories in particular might reflect the fact that we live in a technological world, she added. Yet time travel's appeal certainly has deeper roots, interwoven into the very fabric of our language and appearing in some of our earliest imaginings. 

"I think it's a way to make sense of the otherwise intangible and inexplicable, because it's hard to grasp time," Yaszek said. "But this is one of the final frontiers, the frontier of time, of life and death. And we're all moving forward, we're all traveling through time."

खैर इंटरस्टेलर फिल्म में दिखाया गया हे की, अंतरिक्ष यात्री “Tesseracts” के जरिये समय में सरलता के साथ यात्रा करने में सक्षम हुए थे। ठीक इसी के भांति अगर हम लोग वास्तव में ऐसे ही किसी चीज़ को बना लेते हैं तो अति सहज तरीके से समय यात्रा करने में सक्षम हो पायेंगे।

3. लौकिक तार ( Cosmic String) के जरिये :-

ब्रह्मांड की प्रारंभिक अवस्था में लौकिक तार या कॉस्मिक स्ट्रिंग का जिक्र मिलता है। वैज्ञानिकों का अनुमान हे कि, जब ब्रह्मांड हाल में ही बना था तब उसके अंदर ट्यूब की आकृति के कई सारे लंबे व संकरी तार मौजूद थे। यह तार या ट्यूब बाद में चल कर कॉस्मिक स्ट्रिंग बन गए। वैसे ध्यान देने वाली बात यह हे कि, कॉस्मिक ट्यूब के अंदर बहुत ही भारी मात्रा में ऊर्जा भरी हुई रहती है।

इसके अलावा ट्यूब के अंदर मौजूद पदार्थ बहुत ही ज्यादा सघन अवस्था में रहता हैं, जिसकी कल्पना करना भी मुश्किल है। बहुत ही ज्यादा सघन पदार्थ को अपने अंदर रखने के वजह से यह ट्यूब बड़े ही आसानी के साथ स्पेस-टाइम को मोड व बदलने में सक्षम होते हैं। हालांकि अभी इसको लेकर वैज्ञानिकों का अलग-अलग मत बने हुए हैं।

कुछ वैज्ञानिकों का ये कहना हे की, ये जो कॉस्मिक स्ट्रिंग हैं ये असल में अनंत हैं और इसकी लंबाई का अंदाजा लगा पाना लगभग असंभव ही है। फिर दूसरे कुछ वैज्ञानिक ये भी कहते हैं कि, वास्तव में कॉस्मिक स्ट्रिंग एक तरह से गोलाकृति वाला तार हैं जिसका कि कोई अंत ही नहीं हैं।

कॉस्मिक स्ट्रिंग (Cosmic String) से जुड़ी सबसे रोचक बात तो ये हे कि, समय यात्रा करने के लिए हमें कम से कम दो कॉस्मिक स्ट्रिंग की जरूरत पड़ेगी। दो इसलिए की, जब कॉस्मिक स्ट्रिंग पास-पास आ जाती हैं तो ये स्पेस-टाइम को बदल देती हैं जिससे हम समय यात्रा भी कर सकते हैं।

4. ब्लैक होल ( Black Hole) के जरिये :-

ब्लैक होल ( Black Hole) एक ऐसी चीज़ है, जिसके बारे में ज़्यादातर लोगों की नकारात्मक सोच ही रहती है। हमें लगता हे कि, ब्लैक होल तो सिर्फ विनाश करने के लिए बने हुए हैं। वैसे बता दूँ की, ब्लैक होल विनाश करने के साथ ही साथ समय यात्रा करने में भी हमारी मदद कर सकते हैं। इसलिए इसको लेकर वैज्ञानिक काफी तत्परता के साथ शोध में लगे हुए हैं।

वैसे यह सिद्धांत आपको अवश्य ही चौंकाने वाला है। वैज्ञानिक मानते हैं कि, अगर हम किसी तरीके से एक ऐसे यान का निर्माण करें जो की ब्लैक होल के अंदर बहुत तेजी से घुस कर निकल सके तो हम शायद समय यात्रा करने में सक्षम हो सकते हैं। अगर ये संभव नहीं हैं, तो एक ऐसे कृत्रिम होल का निर्माण करें जो की बहुत ही तेजी से घूम रहा हो।

जब कोई भी यान ब्लैक होल के अंदर प्रवेश कर के आधी दूरी तय कर लेता है (ब्लैक होल के कुल लंबाई की) तो वो स्वतः रूप से समय में गति कर रहा होता है। वैसे अनुमान से कहा गया हे कि, ब्लैक होल के अंदर बाहर के मुक़ाबले समय दुगनी तेजी से व्यतीत होता है। इस सिद्धांत की वजह से जो भी अंतरिक्ष यात्री ब्लैक होल के अंदर से हो कर आते हैं वह लोग पृथ्वी में रहने वाले लोगों से 5 साल आयु में छोटे होते हैं। हालांकि समय में यात्रा करने के लिए अंतरिक्ष यात्रीयों को प्रकाश के रफ्तार से यात्रा करना जरूरी है।

5. अनंत सिलिंडर ( Infinite Cylinder) के जरिये :-

यह सिद्धांत सबसे पहले “Frank Tipler” ने दुनिया के सामने रखा था। उनका कहना था की, अगर हम लोग किसी तरीके से सूर्य के 10 गुना ज्यादा वजनी पदार्थ (Matter) को कई अरब बार लपेट कर एक लंबी व सघन सिलिंडर में परिवर्तित करके प्रति मिनट कई खरब बार परिक्रमण के गति से घुमाएं तो हम शायद इसके माध्यम से समय यात्रा (time travel in hindi) कर सकते हैं।

दरअसल बात ये है कि, इतने वेग से घूमने बाले इस सिलिंडर के इर्द-गिर्द अगर हम किसी स्पेसशिप को रख दें और बाद में इसके अंदर प्रवेश करा दें तो हम लोग समय यात्रा करने में सक्षम हो सकते हैं। मित्रों! अधिक जानकारी के लिए बता दूँ की, इस सिद्धांत को “Closed time-like Curve” सिद्धांत भी कहते हैं। वैसे इसके ऊपर अभी भी शोध जारी है, परंतु आशा है की भविष्य में समय यात्रा करने का यह एक बेहतर विकल्प बन सकता है।

मित्रों! इस सिद्धांत से जुड़ी एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण बात यह हे कि, समय यात्रा करने के लिए जरूरी इस सिलिंडर की लंबाई बहुत ही ज्यादा या यूं कहें तो अनंत होनी जरूरी है जिससे यह अपने अंदर “Closed time-like Curve” को बना पाए। अगर यह कर्व किसी तरह बन गया तो, समय यात्रा (time travel in hindi) करने की संभावना बहुत ही ज्यादा बढ़ जाएगी। अनंत सिलिंडर का ये जो सिद्धांत हैं यह वास्तव में कई सारे तथ्यों को आपस में साझा करके दिया गया है। इसलिए मुझे व्यक्तिगत रूप से इस सिद्धांत से आशा है की, आने वाले समय में शायद यह हमें समय की अद्भुत यात्रा करा सके।

तो, इसका जवाब हैं “Grandfather Paradox” । इस पाराडॉक्स के तहत अगर कोई व्यक्ति समय में पीछे जा कर अपने ग्रेंड फादर को ही मार डालता हैं तो वह कैसे आने वाले समय में अपने अस्तित्व में आयेगा। अगर उसके ग्रेंड फादर ही जिंदा नहीं रहेंगे तो उसके पिता तथा वह कभी भी जन्म नहीं ले सकता है। इसलिए समय में पीछे जाना शायद एक तरह से असंभव ही लगता है। हालांकि, इसको लेकर कई वैज्ञानिक ये कहते हैं की, ऐसे क्षेत्र में आप दूसरे समानांतर ब्रह्मांड में जन्म लेंगे।

Introduction: How to Build a Time Machine (Vortex Distortion Space and Time Dilating Device)

Well lets put it this way, ive always had this thing about traveling through time, and having a time machine. So i set about making one, i decided that instead of being a vessel to travel in, i would rather have something portable. Many hours thinking i came to a conclusion. If im going to be traveling through time, the actual time machine would have to be timeless (not out of place in the past, present day, or the future) So eventually i decided to make something that resembled a time piece, mixed with an old compass, and various other inspirations, some from various steam punk items. However i did not want to make something that was steam punk, as i personally find alot of steam punk to be a bit over comic like, and a bit to fantastical. So, heres how i did it. Materials consist of - Alot of scrap and junk corrugated cardboard Mount card PVA glue Super glue Black paint Spray paint Leather Wood Some thicker mount card A few Special oddments - for me this was the lenses.

Step 1: Building a Base

Ok, now the base of my time machine was modeled around two ring type peices of metal, and as with the rest of the -ible, you kinda have to work things out for yourself too! Firstly, i set about cutting out some ring shaped pieces of card, As you can see from the pics below. Obviously, you could just create this thing from scratch using cardboard. But i think a good scavinge can always turn a good result - The metal sections in the first picture are off an old repromaster! bout 20,000 pounds worth of kit in there day ( we recently scraped ours) I basically used these as a shape to trace onto the card. Cut as many as you like to give it a good depth that your happy with. I recommend corrugated card as it is easily to get a thick depth, its easy to cut, and great for gluing in later steps.

Step 2: Lots, and Lots of Glue!

Ok, firstly stack up your pieces, here i have about 4/5 layers of corrugated, and a layer of mount board either side. picture 2 - Holding the inside cover the out side in PVA Glue, make sure you get it all in the gaps, soak it in the stuff. Then do the same for the inside. Picture 3 - Glue your scavenged parts to the top and bottom - i found that PVA was strong enough to hold them in place. Picture 4 - Finally just glue a strip of paper around the outside and inside to neaten it up Leave to dry over night, or longer if you can wait.

Step 3: A Bit of Paint

Ok, so, you should have something looking like the picture below. Before we start filling the hole with various bits of stuff, i suggest painting it black.

Step 4: Filling in the Middle

Now, this is the section that will hopefully turn out a bit different for all of you, because we dont all want time machines that look the same do we? Picture 1 - the main part of my time machine is a big lens that i got off the repromaster, i constructed a small tube for this, and added a little circular metal ring ontop also, again paint everything card like black. Pictures 2 and 3 - Using various parts, i then played around to get a good fit, - most my inside were taken from the inside of hardrives, cd drive, and old floppy drives and a few other bits and bobs. The key is to use your own creativity, and lots and lots of super glue! (bout 8 tubes for me)

Step 5: More Rubbish

Ok, keep adding the rubbish, a few additions here consist of a applying a piece of leather all around the out side, and various more bits. As you mite notice there are some bits that have been broken off, again, all part of the creativity. I added a few 'bolt' esque pieces poking out of one side. Remeber to take your time, and play around, working out what looks best.

Step 6: Painting the Metal.

I suggest getting some special Metal spray paint - the stuff i used was Wickes direct to metal spray paint. Dont use any normal stuff, it will just rub and flake off. If all else fails, Car spray paint does the job! Picture 1 - Carefully pic any sections you dont want to paint and mask them off - For me this was the lense and the leather, and a few other small bits. Picture 2 - This is after painting, i removed the masking around the edge, but left the lens covered up to prevent damage later on. Picture 3 - ok, no to take some of that paint off, i used a combo of power tools, sand paper, and a scapel - basically take off the edges to reveal some of the metal underneath. Take off a little, take off alot, its upto you!

Step 7: Finished, Wait a Minute, Whats That Cool Box?

Well, we cant have a time machine just sat on the side can we? So we need a secure box to keep it locked up. Im not going to tell you how to build a wooden box, just how to customize it, (plus i bort the bottom half of the box ready made) Picture 2 - here we see the top of the box - which has like a sun/lens/thingy. Although i didnt take any pictures, i cut a hole clean out the top.

Step 8: Glue!

Picture 1 - Once you have cut your hole, mix in some of the sawdust with the pva to make a sawdusty glue mush. Picture 2 - Mask off the lens it self Picture 3 - Glue around the edge of the lens, and use the excess to hold it in place underneath Picture 4 - Sand off the excess ontop. The lens ive used here is again off the repromaster - For this section i printed off a picture of the sun, and taped it to the underneath. Also for this bit you can use anything, a hunk of metal, a pebble, what ever you think looks cool.

Step 9: Decor

loosely following this instructable - https://www.instructables.com/id/MYO-Antique-Medallion/ i then continued to add card to the box -more pva glue here. Then you stick tin foil over the card, and trim. Paint, or colour the foil in with a permanent marker. And than sand some of it away to give a distressed look. Finally, i cobbled together some pieces into a make shift key, and then drilled a hole in the front to fit.

Step 10: DONE

There we go, you have your completed time machine. Enjoy responsibly, and don't go killing your ancestors. (unless you happen to have built in a parrelex distorter) Please let me know what you think, and i would love to see any adaptations you make yourselves. Thanks for reading.

4# ऐसी जगह पर पढाई करें जहाँ से आप हिल ना सको

Hello Narinder ji, kitne subjects ki jo aapki doubt hai, uske wisay mein ye batana chahunga ki wo aapke sikhne ke capacity par depend karta hai. kuch log din ke 4 se 5 subject bhi padh lete hain aur samajh bhi jate hain, wahin kuch 1 or 2 subject mein bhi ludak jate hain. isliye kitne subject ke badle aapne kitna retain kiya ye jyada jaruri hai.
