I hope she reads this. SO lemme spill the tea. It was freaking amazing. I was so close I could see ever pore on her, and lemme tell you there isn’t many. She’s so amazing and I felt the show ran pretty smoothly except for the fact that it was very hot and everyone around you was sweating their ass off. But she was great. Best night of my life seeing the love of my life. She was so good and it was so beautiful if she ever were to return I would be there in a heart beat. Though the initial show was cancelled I wasn’t one bit mad after attending this one and it was really nice that my old tickets still were valid. Thanks dua, love you lots. -your biggest fan:)

It was the most lit concert i had ever attended. Dua was so full of life & super hyped for the whole concert. Im still upset that yesterday had come to an end way too soon. The most memorable memory i had was the moment she teared uo in her speech for 'New Love' as that song was way too genuine and its from the most vulnerable side of hers. The next memorable moment was the participation in 'IDGAF'the crowd was so wild, and Dua also had a moment with us when she remixed the sentence 'I dont give a F' like amazing man this is the most mesmerising concert i had ever attended. I love you Dua. (heartsheartshearts)

Oh, wow. Dua Lipa was absolutely fantastic! She is extraordinarily talented and really knows how to work a crowd. The band was brilliant — and I can say it was definitely loud enough!

I was very lucky to see her at a venue such as the Apollo. Such a small venue for somebody doing an arena tour! We got the tickets very early on, before she became massive, and I’m very glad we did.

The whole way home I was smiling. The last song — New Rules — set the place on fire, that last chorus was insanely good, and all complete with confetti canons!

Thank you for the time, Dua Lipa! Money well-spent; it was worth every second!

This concert will stay in my mind for as long as I live, thank you!

Dua Lipa Proves the Pandemic Only Made Her Stronger at ‘Future Nostalgia’ Tour Kickoff

MIAMI — The future never looks quite as bold as humans envision it to be. Save for touchscreen tech and an electric car monopoly, the promises of the present decade have been largely squandered by a relentless pandemic that rages on more than two years after it began. Still, despite the sea of masked faces singing back at her during the first show of her long-awaited Future Nostalgia tour, an exhilarated Dua Lipa dared to conjure an alternative version of both past and future: one in which a once-in-a-century event never interrupted her inevitable rise to the top of the pop music throne.

Opening acts Lolo Zouaï and Caroline Polachek were well received by the crowd. Polachek in particular commanded a respectable amount of phone recordings from the pit as she emerged draped in a translucent, nymph-inspired outfit which enabled elastic high kicks to match her towering vocals.

Following some on-the-nose disco classics playing between sets, the house lights lowered as Purple Disco Machine’s “Body Funk” blared over the speakers. The main stage backdrop cut to static before revealing the words “In Stereocolor: Future Nostalgia” with Miami Vice -style graphics. In keeping with the Eighties aesthetics, dancers were introduced via a color-blocked, aerobics-themed credit montage as the first notes of Lipa’s “Physical” echoed throughout the arena.

Heading into the second act, the show hit pause on the Eighties homage in favor of a graphic novel theme that transported Lipa to an undersea set. In a white, shimmering one-piece, Lipa sang Nostalgia B-side “We’re Good” while sitting in front of a massive lobster prop that would have fit right in at Katy Perry’s Left Shark halftime show.

Lipa has expertly maneuvered curveballs since the album first leaked during the star-crossed month of March 2020. She’s found ways to maintain public attention on the record for the better part of two years through an expanded edition, a remix album, and a widely lauded livestream concert.

By the time she busted out “Hallucinate” in the third act of the concert, clad in a black top and short-shorts with hot pink tights and sneakers, Lipa let loose and forwent the choreography, jumping around the secondary stage in the same carefree way she might have done at a warehouse rave back home in London.

Then  — just in case the audience needed a reminder of the superstar she’s become — Lipa emerged one final time in a blinding, sparkling black cutout bodysuit that recalled Cher’s indelible “If I Could Turn Back Time” outfit, whipping her hair around as she belted out an aggressive take on Future Nostalgia ’s title track before closing with “Don’t Start Now.”

Dua Lipa Finally Unveils ‘Future Nostalgia’ North American Tour Dates

Although Dua Lipa had the misfortune of dropping a party album just as the pandemic was starting, “Future Nostalgia” became one of the biggest albums of the past 18 months — and she’s finally announced North American arena tour in support of the album, for next year.

The tour makes 28 stops across the U.S., including her first-ever headline show at Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Forum in Los Angeles. The tour will feature support from Caroline Polachek and Lolo Zouaï, with Megan Thee Stallion joining on a handful of dates — full list of tour stops and lineups below. Tickets and VIP upgrade packages go on sale beginning Friday, September 17 at 12PM local time here .

“I’m so thrilled to tour again and see my angels in person! How amazing that we all get to dance and celebrate together once again,” says Dua. “When I was writing ‘ Future Nostalgia ,’ I imagined the songs being played in clubs on nights out with your mates. I’m so excited that this fantasy is finally coming true. I can’t wait to experience these songs with you together live!”

The tour is produced by Ceremony London, promoted by Live Nation and sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer. European dates were announced earlier this year.

Named after her career-solidifying second album, Dua Lipa ‘s global 2022 trek is titled The Future Nostalgia Tour — but the truth is, what makes the onstage spectacle such an endorphin rush has nothing to do with the shape of things to come. Dua may not be a soothsayer capable of peering into the future of music, but she sure as hell knows how to take the best elements of dance and pop’s past and edit them into a cohesive, exhilarating experience. Taking all the right notes from Madonna’s record-breaking global tours of the 21st century (hello, roller skaters circling the stage), tossing in some Katy Perry kitsch (we see you, gigantic inflatable lobster vibing to the beat) and tossing in some house-y remixes of her material that give off Daft Punk vibes (what’s up, robot voices), the Future Nostalgia Tour is exactly the kind of return-to-the-real-world concert pop fans have been thirsting for.

After a stellar opening from Caroline Polachek, who confidently demonstrated she can hold the attention of a jam-packed Madison Square Garden, Tuesday (March 1) night’s New York City concert kicked off with Dua Lipa and her backup dancers stationed behind LED ballet bars on a calisthenic run-through of “Physical” in neon-hued body suits. “A lot of collective childhood dreams are coming true on this stage,” Lipa said at one point during the show, and her dancers certainly didn’t hold a damn thing back, providing flawless choreography with an easy-going swagger that made it all look easy.

Dua herself delivered high kicks, strong vocals and warm smiles for the crowd, which, according to her, included faces she’s been seeing at her shows since her shows at NYC’s 250-capacity venue Mercury Lounge in 2016. The fact that she’s now headlining MSG in an era where most pop singers struggle to land a second hit after a breakout moment is a testament to her rock-solid catalog, which includes so many recognizable radio bops you can’t help but be surprised that Future Nostalgia is just her second album. The setlist included everything you’d want and expect out of a Dua Lipa show, from the Hot 100 No. 2 smash “Levitating” (fittingly delivered while floating above the crowd) to her top 10 Elton John collab “Cold Heart” (the pre-filmed appearance from Sir Elton onscreen elicited a huge roar from the crowd) to an arena-wide sing-along on early career fan fave “Be the One.”

Save for costume changes when Lipa left the stage, there was really no down time where fans collectively wandered off; everyone in attendance seemed as invested in smashes like “Don’t Start Now” as they were in album tracks such as “Good In Bed.” With the biggest hit of 2021 under her belt and a rapturously cathartic tour ahead of her this year, Dua Lipa’s future looks electric.

Dua Lipa Announces Highly Anticipated North American Future Nostalgia Tour

Today, global pop superstar Dua Lipa announced the North American leg of her highly anticipated  Future Nostalgia Tour  for 2022, in support of the Grammy-winning album of the same name. The arena tour makes 28 stops across the US, including Dua’s first ever headline show at Madison Square Garden in New York City and the iconic Forum in Los Angeles. The  Future Nostalgia Tour  will also feature support from Caroline Polachek and Lolo Zouaï, with Megan Thee Stallion joining on select dates, full list of tour stops and lineups below. The long-awaited  Future Nostalgia Tour,  produced by Ceremony London, promoted by Live Nation and sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer, will be the first time Dua connects her live vision for this album in-person with fans. Previously, the superstar was able to connect with fans during her record smashing live stream extravaganza  Studio 2054 , which had over 5 million viewers during its initial airing and featured special guests Angele, Bad Bunny, Elton John, FKA Twigs, J Balvin, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus and Tainy. Dua is already slated to tour the EU in 2022, making this her first world tour run since breaking records during quarantine with her platinum-certified sophomore album  Future Nostalgia . 

Future Nostalgia  is the longest running top 10 album by a female artist on the Billboard 200 this year and was the #1 most streamed album of 2020 on Spotify. It landed on the year-end “Best Of” lists of everyone from Rolling Stone to Billboard and Pitchfork, and spawned multiple worldwide hit singles including the #1 tracks “Break My Heart,” “Levitating,” which is still topping the charts and is the longest running song ever on Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits playlist, and US 4x platinum lead single “Don’t Start Now,” which broke her personal best record of weeks at #1 at US Top 40 radio and is the most streamed track on Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits playlist in history.

T he three-time Grammy Award winner is set to release her third studio album, Radical Optimism , early next month. This will be her first studio album release in four years since her universally acclaimed 2020 album, Future Nostalgia . With the May 3rd release date creeping up, Dua Lipa has been making rounds for various media outlets to promote the new album. On Wednesday, April 24, Dua Lipa visited the SiriusXM studio. Her outfit and choice of footwear were noted for their grunge/hipster-esque influence, mixed with a touch of girly-girl elegance.

Dua Lipa channeled her inner "Undertaker" with a black trench coat and pointy croc heels.

Donning a long black leather trench coat à la Morpheus of The Matrix franchise, the rest of her outfit consisted of washed wide-leg blue jeans that come just over her pointy black croc-skin heels.

Despite adopting a mob boss, undercover assassin aesthetic, Dua Lipa's signature scarlet red hair and striking smile still exude her timeless beauty icon status. Short films featuring the likes of Dua Lipa and Tobias Menzies ( The Crown, Game of Thrones , Manhunt ) reading extracts from the six books on the 2024 shortlist for the  International Booker Prize for fiction translated into English will debut on Thursday, courtesy of Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford’s production company Merman .

The shortlist films are directed by Charlotte Hamblin, a screenwriter, actor and director known for her performances in  Downton Abbey, Call the Midwife  and  Operation Mincemeat . They will be published on the Booker Prizes website and social channels at 9 a.m. London time/1 a.m. LA time on Thursday. A  trailer  for the films was just posted on YouTube.

“An avid reader and host of her own book club at her editorial platform Service95, Dua Lipa has collaborated with the Booker Prizes on two previous occasions,” organizers said. “In 2022, she delivered a keynote speech at the Booker Prize ceremony, in which she spoke passionately about her love of fiction and the authors who have inspired her; in 2023, she visited (the prison ) Downview to see the Booker Prizes’ prisons initiative, Books Unlocked, in action.” Dua Lipa’s third album,  Radical Optimism , will be released on May 3.

“As someone who grew up speaking two languages, I know how inspiring it can be to have access to stories about other worlds,” said the music star who grew up in Albania. “I’m fascinated by lives lived in other countries, whether it’s the imagined lives of the characters or the real lives of the authors. So translation is an art close to my heart – it makes that adventure possible for so many more of us. Translated fiction is a hand extended from one culture to another. It allows us to understand each other better, and to see the world in a new light.”

The International Booker Prize ceremony will be held at the Tate Modern in London on Tuesday, May 21.

“Over the three years we’ve worked with the exceptional team at Merman, the Booker shortlist films have become a huge hit, reaching over 20 million people on our social channels and taking the work of the world’s best writers to new audiences,” said Booker Prize Foundation CEO Gaby Wood. “It’s been gratifying to see how many of these highly engaged viewers say how excited they are to read the books as a result of watching the films.”

Previous short films on Booker Prizes shortlisted fiction featured performances from the likes of Sharon Horgan , Anna Friel, Alfred Enoch, Adjoa Andoh , Jarvis Cocker, David Harewood, Aisling Bea, and Bel Powley .

Dua Lipa is keeping things dark and edgy for the promo for her upcoming album. The singer and actress was spotted in New York City on Wednesday, heading to an interview at SiriusXM, wearing a pair of Croc stilettos .

A star of the film “Argyle,” Lipa is currently promoting her third studio album, “Radical Optimism.” That project is slated to release on May 3. About the shoe

Lipa’s shoe is a single-sole black stiletto featuring a thin heel. The silhouette is sharply pointed at the toe with a vamp that rounds at the sides before cutting straight across the toe line of the foot. It is seemingly composed of a croc skin, but can also be a croc-embossed skin.

Though it isn’t clearly visible, the shoe also features a slingback design.

Dua Lipa’s Shoe Style

Dua Lipa has quite the shoe closet, even fancying herself a designer of sorts. She has worked with Puma since 2020 as an ambassador and collaborator, and she has also worked with Versace. Her partnership with Versace included the Butterflies boot, a cowboy-style shoe with a stiletto heel. She also worked on the Aevitas platform heel. That range came out in 2023 as Lipa was on the tour for her role in the “Barbie” blockbuster film.

Outside of that, the celebrity is often spotted in eye-catching footwear like a Martin Margiela T abi ballet flat . Over the years, she’s also worn other styles like a thigh-high snakeskin boot by Christian Louboutin for the 2018 Jingle Ball.

The "Houdini" singer will be both the Host and the Musical Guest on May 4. Her third studio album,  Radical Optimism , drops on May 3.

The English-Albanian singer and  Argylle  actress has previously been Musical Guest on  Saturday Night Live  twice, on February 3, 2018, and December 19, 2020.

But it won't be Lipa's first experience performing comedy. As Taylor Swift gets ready for the next leg of her international Eras Tour, she is also preparing to part ways with boyfriend Travis Kelce again. The pair have been dating since 2023, and have had to manage very different and distant obligations. Luckily, a source says that “all the time they’ve spent together recently” in between tour dates has “deepened their bond.”

The source added that the couple took “a trip up the California coast” after Swift’s new album release of The Tortured Poets Department to “celebrate privately,” saying, “They’re making the most of the time they have together.”

The pair were not entirely alone—they were seen in Carmel-by-the-Sea with friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, as well as Kelce’s mom, Donna.

Another source previously said that during this break from work, the pair were “focused on rest and recuperation and relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together.”

“They are enjoying movie nights in her home theater, catching up on films and shows they’ve missed,” they continued, explaining that the couple is working on “scheduling” the upcoming long distance and their various projects so that they can “see each other as much as possible” because they “don’t want to spend too much time apart.”

Kelce is spending the NFL offseason in Los Angeles after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl win in February, taking time to see Swift in both Singapore and Australia when she was performing. He is currently filming a new game show called Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity.
