WAR HIPPIES RELEASE HAUNTING NEW SINGLE “THE HANGMAN”

NASHVILLE, Tenn.   (July 22, 2022) – Combat-Veterans turned musical duo,  War Hippies , release their haunting new single narrating the story of an outlaw and an angel through seamless harmony and an old-country feel. Known for their individual instrumental talents and songwriting skills, the brand new country duo does it again with their second single titled “ The Hangman.”  The song precedes their upcoming tour with Travis Tritt and Chris Janson this Fall. Duo members Scott Brown and Donnie Reis are no newcomers to the music scene, both successful in their own paths before joining forces. Scott Brown is the lead singer of the accomplished Scooter Brown Band while Donnie is an acclaimed violinist, songwriter and producer. Most importantly both men served the United States of America on combat tours, creating a foundation for a special bond that reveals itself through their music.

About War Hippies: War Hippies is a brand new country duo and lifestyle brand from USMC and US Army combat veterans, Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis.  Forming in 2022, each has enjoyed an extremely successful career of their own. Reis is a world-renowned violinist who has spent years on the road with various artists playing violin/fiddle, piano/keys, guitars and contributing vocals. His work over the years also in songwriting and production has included a wide range of artists, groups, television and film projects spanning the genres of Country, Rock, Pop, Gospel and Singer-Songwriter. War Hippies Announce Debut Album

The new album will be released on October 14.

Combat veterans and country duo, War Hippies, announced today that their debut self-titled album is officially available for preorder. In celebration of their upcoming release on October 14, the preorder includes three instant-grat tracks including recently released "Killin' It" and "The Hangman."

The third, "Wicked Game," was the first song the duo performed together, receiving a standing ovation from their Nashville audience in 2021. These tracks are the perfect precursor for whats to come in the War Hippies album as well as their opening set The Can't Miss Tour with Chris Janson and Travis Tritt. "This is only the beginning for what is to come. We thought these songs would be the perfect fit to kick off the upcoming tour along with the War Hippies album. If you like this, you will love the rest of it," said Scott "Scooter" Brown.
