Meet our representative on arrival at Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station and drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. In the evening you are free to explore the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Early in the morning, we will leave for Tiger Hill for witnessing sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. Return to the hotel and en-route visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Later after breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday) and Tea Garden (outer view). Return to the hotel for lunch and spend rest of the day at leisure, followed by overnight stay.

Darjeeling – Kalimpong (58 km)

After breakfast drive to Kalimpong (4000 ft), a drive of 58 km. Also known as the garden of flowers, the town has almost everything that defines scenic beauty like flowers, greenery, waters, mists and clouds. On arrival at Kalimpong, check into a hotel for overnight stay.

Kalimpong – Gangtok (85 km)

After breakfast we will go for a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. The tour will include a visit to Durpin Hill, which has the famous Zong Dog Palri Fo- Brang Monastery that belongs to the same Buddhist sect as the present Dalai Lama. We will also visit the Jelapla View Point, Pine View Point, Kalim Temple, Dr Graham's Homes Complex. The complex has historic church and well maintained grounds founded in 1900 by Rev. Dr. J A Graham, a Scottish missionary. Later, we will take you to Delo Hill (5556 ft) that appears to be the roof- of- the- world, is the highest point in Kalimpong. Delo also has the town’s picturesque water reservoir. Thereafter, we will visit the Mangal Dham Temple constructed in memory of the late Guru Shree (108) Mangal Dasji and dedicated to Lord Krishna. Further, Kalimpong Arts & Crafts Centre is another important stopover.

In the afternoon drive to Gangtok, the land of unspoiled natural beauty with alpine landscapes, thick luxuriant forests, rivers in torrent and peaceful lakes. On arrival, check into a hotel. For rest of the day you are free to explore the local area. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to Tsongmo Lake (12,210 ft) and Baba Mandir, a 40 km drive which takes 2.5 hrs. This lake is located very close to Nathu La Pass, which is the entry point to China termed as the “Silk Route” and remains frozen for most parts of the year. The lake is home to the Brahminy ducks and many migratory birds. Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir, which is highly acknowledged for its spiritual worth. We can also visit Nathu La Pass, which is the border of India and China. Later drive back to Gangtok. In the evening you are free for your own activities, followed by overnight stay at the hotel.

Altitude Sickness

Altitude Mountain Sickness is an illness as an effect of high altitude resulting in a rapid change in air pressure (air gets thinner) and oxygen level (less oxygen to breathe). These are a group of symptoms that arise while walking at a high altitude (more than 2,500m above sea level) without properly acclimatizing the body. The point to be noted is that AMS can occur to anyone, even those with great physical fitness as it depends upon several factors. The most prominent factors are how much elevation you are gaining in what period of time, the place where you live, and the altitude there. Previous records of Altitude Sickness can also determine if you will get AMS.

The symptoms of acute mountain sickness generally appear within hours of moving to higher altitudes. They vary depending on the severity of your condition.

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, meet your guide and get transported to your hotel in Darjeeling around noon.

Darjeeling standing at an altitude of 2134 meters, Darjeeling offers plenty of breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks where Kanchendzonga can be seen rising higher than all the other mountains.

After you arrive in Darjeeling, check-in at your hotel and relax.

Begin your day early morning with a visit to Tiger Hill to feel enriched by the first rays of the sun that come through the enigmatic Kanchenjunga mountain.

Also, visit Ghoom Monastery which is the oldest in the region. There you will be able to see the image of Mythey Buddha, 15 feet tall.

Drive back to your hotel and have breakfast before you get ready to do the city tour which include Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park, Tibetan Refugee Centre, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Happy Valley Tea Estate from outside.

After the tour, return to your hotel and take rest.

Post breakfast, get a drive to Gangtok.

The Buddhist area, Gangtok preserves its natural beauty intact and surrounded by monasteries and orchids and it still persists as travellers' delight.

Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel and head out to indulge in a city tour that would cover Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Cottage Industry and Flower Show Complex.

By late evening, return to your hotel and relax.

Dedicate the whole day for a full day excursion that will let you visit the most beautiful Changu Lake, 35 KM away from Gangtok located at an elevation of 12400 feet.

The lake is filled with the water from the white glaciers of the Himalayan ranges.

Post which, you will also visit Baba Mandir and return to your hotel by late evening.

Drive to Kalimpong today. Set out for the journey after breakfast. Kalimpong is yet another attraction located at a height of 1250 meters offering a relaxed stay.

Upon arrival in Kalimpong, check-in to your hotel and relax for sometime.

Later, head to visit the main attractions in Kalimpong such as Zang Dog Palri Fo Brang Monastery, Mangal Dham and flower nurseries.

Return to your hotel afterwards and retire for the night.

Have breakfast and check-out of your hotel to get transferred to Bagdogra Airport for your departure.

• The booking confirmation email is sent to the traveler’s registered email address within 24 business hours, after the payment is done.
• In any unfavourable circumstances, if the booked slots are not available before the confirmation email is sent, then other available slots shall be offered & booked as per the traveler’s consent and an updated email will be sent to the traveler’s registered email address .

• In case of private booking, the minimum number of people required is 2.
• Any meals; other than the ones mentioned under the inclusions, will be considered as an exclusion of the package. Entry fee to the monuments and camera charges are not included in the package.
• Any personal expenses like shopping, porter charges, tips or rewards, laundry, meals or drinks other than specified etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost.
• Price mentioned shall vary during the seasonal or special dates such as Diwali, Dussehra, Christmas and New Year weeks.
• Any additional cost occurrence happening due to bad weather conditions, flight cancellation, insurrection etc are not included into the package. Applicable GST to the booking amount will be charged.
• In case of addition of new member to a booked package, the applicable difference amount should be borne by the client depending upon the amendment in the package. In tour packages, children with the age 8 years and more will be considered Adults only. Package price may fluctuate subject to any amendments in services/hotels.
• Hotel bookings are subjected to their availability, and will be booked accordingly. In case of unavailability, a similar category accommodation will be provided to the traveler. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the travel date will incur a 30% cancelation fee.
• Cancellations made within 15 – 30 days will incur a 50% cancelation fee.
• Cancellations made within 0-15 days will incur a 100% cancelation fee.
• Cancellations due to any unforeseen circumstances occurring due to medical ground or sickness, within 48-72 hours before the travel date may stand valid for a rescheduling to a different date of the same booking. This shall be validated through the supportive medical documents.
• Any cancellation request of the booking shall be entertained only till 1800 Hrs.
• If the booked accommodation type lies in 4-5 star category then the charges and timeline may vary depending upon the property’s regulations.

Payment Policy

• The payment terms finalized at the time of booking will remain the same and can not be changed once the booking is done.
• 100% advance of the total booking value shall be paid well ahead of the travel date adhering to the finalized payment terms.

You can fly to Bagdogra Airport in Siliguri(WB), then take the taxi to Gangtok. Alternatively, you can take the train to New Jalpaiguri then take the taxi to Gangtok.

Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing

Early Morning (3:45 AM) drive to Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of Permit /Token from the respective authority)to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak. On the way, explore primitive forests of oak and other scenic views. On the way back to Darjeeling, visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial and Batasia Loop. Return back to the hotel for breakfast. Arrival at Kalimpong, check in at the hotel. Forest Museum (Closed On Thursday), Deolo Hill, Hanuman Mandir, Dr Graham Homes, Durbin Monastery, Mangaldham, Pine View Nurseries (Cactus Only). Breakfast at the hotel, further transfer to Gangtok with a 105 kms drive. Gangtok is the capital city of Sikkim with a wide variety of sightseeing attractions for the tourist. History of Darjeeling goes back to 1700’s where it was part of Sikkim under the king and it was taken over by Gorkhas from Nepal later. Darjeeling is famous for growing quality tea. Teesta is the main river originated from the glaciers and lakes of Sikkim Himalayas. Day 01: Siliguri/Bagdogra to Darjeeling via Mirik (104 Km / approx 3.30 hrs)

Welcome to Darjeeling Gangtok Kalimpong Tour . On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station (own cost), you will be transferred to Darjeeling. Enroute you will visit Mirik Lake, an ideal place for boating where on arrival you will check into your hotel.

Day 02: Darjeeling sight seeing

Early morning (around 4.00 am), you will drive to Tiger Hill to enjoy the magnificent view of sunrise and the effect of sun light over the Eastern Himalayan peaks like Mt. Kanchendzonga (28,208 ft), Kabru, Pandim etc (subject to clear weather conditions). On return to your hotel visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.After breakfast there will be Darjeeling city tour including HMI, Darjeeling Zoo, tea garden, Tenzing Rock Tibetan Self Help Refugee Centre, Rangeet Valley Passerger Ropeway etc.

Day 03: Darjeeling to Gangtok (120 km / 4 hrs.)

Today you will proceed on a picturesque drive to Gangtok. En route visit Peshok view point- the confluence of river Tista & Rangit. Check into your hotel in Gangtok. The rest of the afternoon is free.

Day 05: Gangtok to Kalimpong (75 km./ 2.30 hrs.)

After breakfast drive to Kalimpong. After lunch there enjoy half day sight seeing in Kalimpong including flower nurseries, Delo hills, monastery etc.

Day 06: Kalimpong to Bagdogra (IXB)/ New Jaipaiguri (NJP) (75 km./ 2.30 hrs.)

Located in the foothills of Himalaya, it is known for its historical building of the colonial era, many Buddhist religious sites, and viewpoints. Reach your hotel after a journey of 3 hours. Now, freshen up to take a rest. Stroll around the nearby attractions or local markets as you are free for the rest of the day. Have an evening stroll to try some mouth craving street foods. Dinner and overnight stay at Kalimpong.

Proceed for half-day Gangtok sightseeing after a light breakfast. Banjakhri Falls will be the first attraction to explore. It is inside the lush green forest that offers a splendid view of the falling water coming out from the dense woodland. Later, you will have an excursion to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Ganesh Tok, Rumtek Monastery, Hanuman Tok, etc. Namgyal Institute of Tibetology is the distinguished learning center for the Tibetan Language. Rumtek is a worth visiting monastery in Gangtok. A glimpse of Tibetan architecture can be seen here. Hanuman Tok, the mecca of the Lord Hanuman in Gangtok will also be explored.

After the memorable half-day sightseeing, you will be transferred to Pelling, a small metropolis in the Indian State of Sikkim. Reach Pelling after a journey of about 5 hours and covering an approximate road distance of 130 km. On arrival at the hotel, freshen up. Have rest after a long hectic journey. Overnight stay at Pelling.

To indulge in Pelling local Sightseeing, have breakfast early. After being ready, proceed to Darap Village, a quaint hamlet known for its intense serenity. Get to know the culture and traditions of the Limbo tribe living here. Visit Rimbi Falls which is just 5 km away from this scenic village. Day 02: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Day Schedule: Witnessing the miraculous sunrise views from the Tiger Hill (2,590 m) is the best way to start a day Darjeeling! Today morning, after you wake up early in the morning; around 03.00-04.00 a.m., you will be driven to the Tiger Hill. Reaching the top of the hill, feast on the astounding views of the rays of the rising sun painting the entire vicinity into golden orange and casts a magical spell on the spectators!

While returning back to the hotel for breakfast, a visit to the sacred Ghoom Monastery and the enthralling Batista Loop will add an essence of spirituality and natural grandeur to your Darjeeling tour. Arriving the hotel, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and visit some of the most important landmarks of Darjeeling.

To begin with the day tour, first visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, and get an insight of life and beauty in Darjjeeling. Following these two, you will be visiting the Tenzing Rock, have an outer view of the picturesque Chitrey Tea Garden, seek mental peace with a visit to the Peace Pagoda and Japanese Temple. You will be concluding the day with a stroll around the Chowrasta and Mall Road, and sign up for an overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Darjeeling to Kalimpong (57 km/3 Hours)

Day Schedule: After a fun filled and exciting day in Darjeeling, today morning, you will be driven to Kalimpong. The drive that will take you through the magnificent Lopchu Tea Garden, is truly an experience that will last forever in your minds! On your way through the tea garden, savour in the eccentric blend and flavour of Tea Peda (a local sweet) and refreshing fruit juice to keep yourself packed with energy.

A visit to the Lover’s Meet Point, from where you can have a glimpse of the union of the enthralling Teesta and Rangit Rivers will surely steal all the attentions for the day! Later, arriving in Kalimpong, check in into a hotel and join an exciting sightseeing tour around the town. Visit the scenic Deolo Hill, Science City, Durbin Dara Hill, Jang Dong Palriffo Brang Monastery and the Pine View Cactus Nursery. The day in Kalimpong will come to an end with your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04: Drive from Kalimpong to Gangtok (73 km/3 Hours)

Day Schedule: A delightful drive through the scenic trails of Kalimpong will take you to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. On your arrival in the city, you will be checked in into a hotel, where you can spend the day at total leisure. If you wish to, you can stroll around the hotel premises in the evening and have a look of Gangtok’s miraculous beauty; overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 05: Tsomgo Lake Excursion (3,750 m) (3 Hours)

Day Schedule: Today morning, after having breakfast in the hotel, take an excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake. Located at an altitude of 3,750 m, this lake is one of the most beautiful high altitude lakes in the country and is also considered sacred by the locals. Spending some of the candid and pleasant moments beside the lake, pay a visit to the holy Baba Harbhajan Mandir (4,000 m) and get acquainted with the valorous tales about Major Harbhajan Singh, to whom, this temple is dedicated to. Completing this enthralling as well as exciting excursion, drive back to the hotel in Gangtok and spend overnight.

Day 06: Drive from Gangtok to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (130 km/4 Hours)

Day Schedule: Today will be last day of this memorable Darjeeling and Gangtok tour. After having breakfast in the hotel, you will be finally driven back either to the NJP Railway Station or to the Bagdogra Airport. Arriving at either of them, continue your journey back home with endless memories of this magnificent tour!
