Our Corporate range is very similar to our Premiership Range , they have almost the same high specification inside. The main difference being they are straight-seated, with no tables, making it ideal for Corporate events with larger numbers.

The great thing about the vehicles in the Corporate Coach Range, is that they carry far more people than the Premiership vehicles, as they seat up to 55 people.

In our Corporate range we have the Irizar i6 and Van Hool coaches. They are high end coaches which stand out due to their design, attention to detail and comfort.

They all have:

  • Luxury leather interiors

  • Reclining seats

  • Climate controlled

 • W/C's

 • Polarising privacy glass

We currently have fifteen in our fleet and when they are put together, they make an impressive sight.  Ideal for large corporate events.

About the Business

Ellisons Travel is owned and operated by the original founder's grandsons, Mike and Andy Magowan, who over the years have expanded the business to the extent that it is one of the leading coach companies in the UK. Based in the town of St Helens, in the North West of England, coaches are positioned throughout the UK, which enables us to provide vehicles anywhere in the country. There are only a few coach companies that provide coaches to such a high specification as Ellisons and as such, they are in great demand.

The interiors are unique, each designed by Andy, incorporating the latest technology. In fact we were awarded 'Most Innovative Coach Company', by the industry in 2009. Our Premiership Range is named after our Premiership Football Team Clients. We are extremely proud of the fact that 50% of the teams in the Premiership use Ellisons coaches to transport their players, which we think reflects our high standards, our reliability and trust in our service.

Connexions Buses, Ellisons Travel latest to join Earned Recognition

Connexions Buses and Ellisons Travel are further PSV operators to be accredited by DVSA as members of its Earned Recognition scheme.

Tockwith-based Connexions – which is authorised to run 40 vehicles – became part of Earned Recognition on 4 March, with Ellisons, based in St Helens and with an authorisation for 61 vehicles, following two days later.

They are the third and fourth members of the coach and bus industry to have been accepted in 2024, with Maynes Coaches having joined in January and Williams Coaches in February to give a clean sweep of businesses in the passenger sector onboarded this year so far as being SMEs.

Connexions Buses Managing Director Craig Temple says that the business has spent over a year working towards Earned Recognition accreditation, although he notes that the biggest challenge in successfully completing all requirements is paperwork related.

Mr Temple has credited teams led by Operations Manager Steve Scott and Engineering Manager Tom Swiers for the achievement. “It has no doubt been helped because our team is fairly young, and easily adapts to change,” he continues.

“We already did all of what was required, but it was a case of documenting everything, something that larger operators are usually better at,” he explains.

Connexions’ maintenance management has also long satisfied Earned Recognition requirements. It uses Distinctive Systems’ VMS platform for planning, which Mr Temple says is “very easy to use.” He adds: “We will use it to more of its full potential as time progresses.”

Mr Temple has added a hope that more councils and other authorities consider Earned Recognition accreditation when awarding contracts. In guidance around joining the scheme, DVSA notes that being able to prove membership when tendering should be seen as a benefit and indicative of the business concerned being “an exemplary operator.”

Analysis of the Agency’s list of Earned Recognition members as of 8 March shows that coach and bus accounts for 91 of the 410 passenger and freight O-Licences that are accredited by the scheme.

Those 91 PSV operators capture a total authorisation of 24,280 vehicles, although in some cases the number authorised by each O-Licence is significantly more than the fleet in use by the business.

Pictured operating for Goodfellow, Thorne, South Yorkshire in 916 VBH, a Bova FHD12-340 Futura coach. It was new to Ellison, St Helens, Merseyside registered S383 JUG in August 1998. It passed to KM, Lundwood, South Yorkshire in January 2004 and was promptly reregistered 893 KM, reverting to its original mark on sale to Moseley, South Elmsall (Q). It joined Clark (Gee Vee Travel), Stairfoot, South Yorkshire in December 2010 and was given its current registration in February 2011.

What a beauty!

Ellisons Travel WSM3, the Manchester City Football Club team coach, was photographed outside the Hilton Hotel, Wembley before the FA Cup Final against Watford on 18 May 2019. This Van Hool TDX21 Altano was new in April 2018 and was originally registered YJ18AZA. Manchester City won the match 6-0 with goals from David Silva, Gabriel Jesus (2), Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling (2) to become the first men’s side to win every major English honour in a single season.

A rather dull / bland livery on this Jonckheere bodied Volvo B12B of Ellisons .

Not the most entertaining match witnessed at Brisbane Road. The result was probably a fair one and Geraint Williams will be glad of three points. Man of the match Scott McGleish one of the very few people to put in anything like 100 per cent. The problem in a nutshell, scoring both goals to boot.

Rovers arrived in this sleek and comfortable 36 seat Neoplan, owned by Gavin Murray Ltd of St Helens t/a Ellison's and originally registered YN55NMA in the fleet, and previously the Chelsea FC team coach.

The firm was founded in the 1920s and the Macgowan family are still involved in the running of it, and having provided the Liverpool FC team coach many years ago, and still do, they have expanded this niche service to other premiership rivals and the English Rugby team.

SIG 2372 is a Neoplan N2216/3SHDC Tourliner C53Ft coach in the fleet of Clegg & Brooking, Middle Wallop, Hampshire. It was new to Ellison, St Helens, Merseyside as MT61 HVV in February 2012. It passed to Symphony Chauffeurs, Hayes (Middlesex), Greater London in May 2013 and was reregistered Y30 SYM in October 2013. It reverted to its original mark on sale to MAN, Trafford Park (Q) in January 2014. It was purchased by Clegg & Brooking the very same month and was given its current registration in November 2016.

Ellisons Travel WSM3, the Manchester City Football Club team coach, was photographed arriving at the Etihad Stadium with new vinyls for the 2019-2020 season on 31 August 2019 before the Premier League match against Brighton & Hove Albion. This Van Hool TDX21 Altano was new in April 2018 and was originally registered YJ18AZA.

Ellisons Travel WSM3, the Manchester City Football Club men’s team coach, was photographed at the Etihad Stadium on 13 August 2022 with its new vinyl wrap for the 2022-2023 football season. This Van Hool TDX21 Altano was new in 2018 and was originally registered YJ18AZA.

ONU77, Van Hool TDX21 Altano waits by the stadium at Bolton Wanderers and is the team bus of Derby County FC.

Ellisons Travel, St Helens OJB53, an Irizar i8 integral tri-axle coach, was photographed at the Doubleday by Hilton Hotel, Islington on 28 February 2020 when transporting the Manchester City Elite Development Squad (EDS) for a Premier League 2 match with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The EDS side included Leroy Sane on his return from injury and won the match 4-2. The Irizar coach was new to Ellisons in November 2017 and was originally registered YN67VDE.

Ellisons Travel WSM3, the Manchester City Football Club team coach, was photographed arriving at the Etihad Stadium for the Premier League match against Stoke City on 14 October 2017 sporting new vinyls for the 2017-18 season with prominence given to Manchester City’s Official Sleeve Partner Nexen Tire. Manchester City won the match 7-2 with goals by Gabriel Jesus (2), Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Fernandinho, Leroy Sane and Bernando Silva. This Van Hool TDX21 Altano coach with 67 seats was new in 2014 and was originally registered YD14GDV.

This Bova Magiq isn't too much better either !
