How guest reviews work.
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of review scores we received. Guests can also give separate subscores in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. Guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently – there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Michelin guide’s point of view.
A legendary name in the hearts of caviar lovers since 1920, when the Petrossian brothers, of Armenian origin, began importing it. The restaurant honours the history of the house with "classic" caviar tasting, but also with well - thought - out dishes in which this delicacy appears in other forms (pressed, dried, matured, liquid).

Location and contact.

Bonjour, my husband and I visited this establishment for an after dinner drink. We were a bit shooed away by the host because we did not have reservations. However, we asked if we could visit the bar only and were taken to the back room... where a lovely bartender made us feel very welcome. We were the only patrons in this back room, but given covid and nearing the holiday time for locals, I guess it was to be expected. Not sure if we were put aside because we did not have reservations, but we had a good time and enjoyed our delicious cocktails. More

Good place to hangout and chill! We were here because of recommendations from our hotel, and we were satisfied with the atmosphere and the service! Food was good but nothing too fancy, the cocktails was a bit too special for us to really enjoy! Just... something too new for us! More

Bonjour Zhozho, Thank you for your visit and comment. Its was a pleasure to welcome you and we are delighted to learn you enjoyed your experience ! We hope to see you again soon, The Fitzgerald team.
We eat here for a dinner, perfect food and drink. Beautiful location and atmosphere. Full of people also during the week
Spending the summer in Paris with many friends visiting from the US — and I was SO excited to try this apartment in my neighborhood. I brought 2 friends (3 of us total) for dinner on a summer Saturday night with a reservation…where we had... specifically requested an outdoor table. Not that it should even remotely matter but we were all dressed up for a night on the town and very much consistent with the vibe of the restaurant. On arrival we were directed towards the darkest back corner and were subsequently given a runaround about an outside table, next directed to the “speakeasy” in the back (insert eyeroll here) while they sorted it out. After about 20 minutes we were finally seated at an outdoor table, but it was clear from the service for the remainder of the evening that they were annoyed. To be completely honest I wish I’d followed my gut and simply gone elsewhere at the outset. The food was fine I guess but the service and general attitude of the staff throughout the evening was awful. So many great options in this neighborhood — do yourself a favor and choose a restaurant that knows its in the service industry and, as such, is happy to have your business. More
Hello WalkerWine , Thank you for taking the time to share your review , even though we’re sorry that your visit went wrong . The experience you describe is not exactly what we wish for your customers , we will do the right thing to... More
We had stopped at this restaurant one night without a reservation the and I asked if we could dine outside, but was told it was fully booked. The outside tables were virtually empty, but I we understand that they may have been reserved even though... I did not notice reservation cards. The host said he could seat us inside, and I asked for a table closest to the outside. He then pointed to an inside table in a corner furthest from the street. I politely said thanks and that we’ll come back another time. The next day I asked hotel reception to book an outside table for 8 at the restaurant that evening. She phoned while we waited, and told us that the person she spoke with had to get back to her. Later, she confirmed that the reservation outside had been made. I asked her if she was sure the reservation was for outside and she indicated that is why they had to call back. We got to the restaurant when it opened and mentioned our reservation for outside and gave both our name and the hotel name. The host then proceeded to usher us to the same back corner table that he wanted to seat us in the night before. I repeated that we had made an outside reservation but he didn’t respond. He offered no explanation or acknowledge whether he saw the reservation, but would not seat us outside. He was totally dismissive. None of the outside seats were occupied. We were a party of 8 adults: grandparents, grown children and adult grandchildren, not a bunch of slobs. Could it have been because we were American? We don’t know, but his unwillingness to provide us an explanation leaves us to wonder. More
Hello W8319USjayf We are sorry that your visit did not live up to your expectations . We are constantly working to improve our service and we hope you willl give us another chance
The Fitzgerald seemed like a decent option to go have dinner but we regretted our desicion as soon as we first spoke to the waiter. The service was extremely impolite and unorganized. We waited for approximately 30 minutes before we could even order. The waiter... walked away mid order while I was still talking. So rude! The food took another hour to arrive at the table on a not very busy day. Lastly the food was not even that great and the portions were tiny. Worst of all the meat, which was chicken, was not cooked through at all which cannot happen at such a place. We were happy to leave as soon as possible. Would definitely not recommend! More
First off if you’re American avoid this place like the plague! They are so rude and will single you out. If you take a place outside they will ask you to move inside after 2 hours. They think they can compensate bad service with a... glass of sub par champagne… don’t waste your time nor money. When we refused to move inside told us we were the problem… such a joke! More

I thought the food was overpriced, although it was not bad. But spending 50€ for dinner for 3 starters (shared among the 5 of us), a main and some wine felt unreasonable, even for Paris.
Do not go to this place. They steal guests money by delivering bad food. The staff, particularly waitress were very arrogant and aggressive. Even today we don’t understand why? The staff also treat their guest different ( only fake all) . We were promised by... phone good food at new year eve and get a real chock when we get scrapings what left from the evening and the bill that the staff create was over 700 euro. That, despite we did not touch that insulting food the aggressive staff brought to that draughty place we were sitting. There is a lot more to tell about that terrible evening. Even now 2 months later me and my family feel discomfort and abused. We al feel the same. Robbed and insult. I can’t understand how people don't see as this place is a big fake and money -looter. More
Dear Alexandra, We are sorry to learn your experience at New Year’s Eve did not meet your expectations. That night was indeed particularly busy and we apologize for the wait or if you felt in any kind abused. This was of course absolutely not our... More
Great atmosphere. Great food. Lovely deserts. Highly recommended. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The best pavlova. Great music.
Fitzgerald is a charming restaurant with great food. We enjoyed our delicious meal which was generous in portion sizes and creative in delivery. The staff was kind and helpful.
Hello Meldavall , Thank you for this heart-warming message ! We will be sur to pass on your compliments to the entire team . See you soon !
We were going to a local restaurant and wanted pre-drinks, I read about this private (back bar) in Fitzgerald brasserie so we/I was curious to try it out, def not disappointed… It was strange, you went/were escorted through the brasserie, the receptionist asked for the... Covid pass which is quite normal in Paris now, we asked for pre-drinks in the back bar which she directed us through a doorway opening into a secluded rather nice room/bar. The Barman was very nice, & directed us to small table where we ordered our cocktails… Service was efficient and friendly, standard price for a cocktail. For a pre-evening drink just what the doctor ordered, relatively quiet although I’m sure It would fill up later in evening. Definitely recommend this place, when in Paris again may try the food here as well. Thx for the great cocktails More

I don't even know where to begin with this place. The worst experience eating in Paris I've ever experienced. Service - Horrible, Rude, I could go on and on with adjectives but you get the point. If you are American they will try to kick... you out if you been there too long. Didn't even have time to order dessert and said we had to leave or go inside to give our table to someone else. The waiter "didn't speak english" when we told him we were frustrated then we we switched to French he walked away from the table. They wouldn't give us our bill to leave. Felt very uncomfortable. Food - Small portions, overpriced, and blasé. You pretty much need a hamburger after eating at this place. I rarely rate places on tripadvisor but I'm just so shock by how terrible the entire experience was, I don't want someone else to fall into the same trap. Save your money and go somewhere else. The 7th is full of incredible restaurants, and this is not one of them. More
Excellent food and a lovely staff of waitresses! We simply just loved chilling at this place after hours of walking in the streets of Paris. Everything you could ask for en more! Might have Paris best beef as well, thanks for having us, Fitzgerald!

Dear Anna, Thank you for your visit and kind words. It was a pleasure to welcome you and we hope to see you again during your next visit in Paris ! Sincerely, Le Fitzgerald.
We found this restaurant by sheer luck as we were walking around looking for a nice place to eat dinner. This restaurant can really be recommended, first of all because the food is excellent but also because of the nice atmosphere and fine service. We... were not very hungry so we decided to share 4 different dishes and hereby got to taste many different things all very tasty. The selection of wine is adequate and at fair prices. As mentioned: a very nice place for a fine dinner More

Time to drink champagne and dance on the table!

A great experience. Our waiter was so friendly and welcoming. We arrived after walking from Les Invalides and were hungry and thirsty. It was about 1 pm. Just found out our waiter was Luis. He was also multilingual, speaking Spanish to the Spanish-speaking patrons, English to use, and of course, French. My ham and cheese sandwich on a baguette was exactly what I wanted. Why can no one in America make a good baguette. I am very happy. Prices were reasonable as well.

Great for a quick bite near the metro. Grabbed a quick crepe, panini, sandwich.... Surprisingly, they wanted us to come inside & order the same thing again from the table for twice the price. We went back to the window and ordered again our quick snack, we were surprised that the crepes were pre made not fresh. We sat across the street on a park bench enjoying it.

Service is stellar. A real chef making fresh plats du jour, homemade pasta and consistently delicious dishes. Don't miss the lasagne and the house made cocoa rhum. Lots to see here on a busy corner with abundant outdoor seating. They couldn't be more friendly! A+++

Located in a very easily accessible part of Paris, we were walking around late after exploring the Louvre area looking for something easy and we found this. There was ample space outside on the terrace which was what we were looking for as tourists in Paris. We ordered a cheese board to share which came with ample cheese selections and their escargot was beyond amazing. Main dishes did not disappoint and were plentiful. The price was reasonable and the ambiance was what we were looking for. Would come back!

We stopped by La Tour Maubourg to wait out the rain. We ordered a beer, an espresso, and a Nutella crepe to share. It was during an off-hour (late afternoon), so the restaurant was relatively empty, and the waitress was having her own lunch. It was a nice spot to sit and wait out the rain.

Nutella Crepe & Espresso

I'm giving this restaurant one star because none isn't an option. Lots of options on the menu, but had no paninis or pancakes the day we went. So we settled for an open sandwich and promptly found a hair in it when we started to eat. We ate around it, only to have a mouse run by our sight of view. That was enough for us to decide that cleanliness was not a priority at this restaurant and decided to leave. Unfortunately this must be a regular occurrence because the waitress was unphased by the hair or the mouse and still required we pay our tab. I would never go back and do not recommend.

To be fair, I am not a fan of cheese. Otherwise, I may give it 4 stars. However, I did not lower the rating for the "uncomfortable" seats that we had - a small table on a rainy day. The food was okay and the service was good. We had our lunch there but could not finish all the cheeses.

Everything was wrong from the moment we entered. It was starting to drizzle and we were tired from exploring the city. We went inside instead of eating outdoors - 1st sign it smelled like a sewer inside. We decided to overlook it and ordered to beers. One of the beers had a thick film (hopefully malt) that made us both feel really uneasy. Minutes after ordering the meals the food was brought out. My friend had the plate full hour which was made of beef and mashed potatoes, all of the "beef" was mostly nerves and inedible. My friend tried her best to separate the meat but then during one of the chews she bit into something hard (hopefully we think it's plastic but she said it reminded her of a tooth) we told our waitress again and she proceeded to bring us our check. We didn't argue and paid for 2 meals one which was barely touched and mine that I was forcing down bc I was hungry but regret it now.

Plate du jour - meat and potatoes

Hopefully just a hard piece of plastic found inside the meat found during chewing.

We stopped for just 1 bottle of wine before heading to the Eiffel Tower. Only 1 waiter for inside and outside the restaurant who somehow managed to provide great service! 2 bottles of wine, crepes and a Castilian band later, we left fully satisfied and content.

Directly across the street from our hotel, Cafe Latour Maubourg ( Brasserie LM ) provided a fantastic breakfast to help fuel us for a busy day of sightseeing Trying out my less than remedial French, we muddled through our order of cheese omelets & lattes Sitting outside on our sunny morning, it was nice to watch the people walking by, the vendors greeting each other as they were rushing off to their shops & other local diners enjoying their fare Omelets were among the best I've ever had - nice buttery, with a caramely-browned, outside & stringy pulls of cheese at each bite. The eggs were fluffy & extremely tasty & the ratio of cheese to egg was just perfect Accompanied a side salad and the best tangy dressing - it was the perfect pairing for our omelet Coffees were milky & strong & hit the spot Also saw a little window on the side of the building offering sandwiches for takeaway ( not sure if it was the same restaurant but it looked like it was ) & there was a line.....which is always a good indicator it's delish Would make this a repeat visit & would love to check out their dinner options when next in the area
