How to Predict Foreign Travel in Astrology: Concept and Examples

Vedic astrology, at the very roots and basics, is all about Houses, Signs, and the Planets. All the planets, houses, and signs are connected to different significations of the world. If you take Houses then foreign travel in astrology should be checked from the 3rd house, 9th house, and 12th house. These are the houses for the only houses one needs to see in a birth chart for travel. For seeing travel-related events in a chart you can also consider the 7th and 11th house. However, traveling abroad is long travel so in astrology we will take the 9th and the 12th house. The 9th house is of long journey whereas the 12th house is of foreign lands.

Basics is Important in Astrology

As every time I say – Basics are very important in Vedic Astrology for the advance predictions also. If you want to learn Vedic Astrology and master it don’t leave the basic concepts. So, in this article, we will talk about one of my astrology researches although there are so many combinations of foreign travel in astrology.

 Every technique has some unique circumstances and every combination comes from different types of energy combinations of house, planet, and signs. But, some basic concepts of astrology will never change. The 4th house is the house of your homeland, and this house is very important for foreign travel in astrology, or to see abroad settlement. Because until this energy will not allow you to leave the homeland you can’t leave your homeland or the birth country. Here, we have to keep in mind that the 1st house also belongs to your birthplace, and actually, everything belongs to the native. The 12th house is the house of a foreign land or foreign travel in astrology.

Combination for Foreign Travel in Astrology

 I have talked about all the concepts related to this in one of the videos on our YouTube channel so for more insight you can visit there also after reading this article. So, we have to take the 4th house first. Mars is the planet that will support us to leave the homeland and you know that’s why Mars is a very important planet for marriage also especially in the female Kundali.

Now, let’s delve deeper into our concept of the technique. The technique is – When Mars is strong and this Mars will make a connection to the 12th, 4th, or 8th house: and, alongside, the 4th house lord and 4th house, Jupiter and Moon will be weak, then person will travel abroad. In the appropriate time activation by the Dasha, transit, or the planets, we will see how the event of foreign travel in astrology comes true. 

See the yoga should be activated with the appropriate Dasha sequence at least otherwise this yoga can create a prison-like situation abroad or native will not travel to foreign land. 

Let’s take some examples to understand the technique.

Take the lagna lord first and you can see that the lord of the lagna lord is in the 12th house of foreign journey. Now, the 4th house is the house of homeland and the lord is Mars only which is situated in the 12th house with exalted Jupiter. Mars is a debilitated planet and this is Neech Bhang Raj yoga in the 12th house. 

To get more idea about this example on foreign travel in astrology you can take the reference of this video . Jupiter is also the 8th lord here and Mars is the lord of the house of long Journey which is the 9th house. Venus is the lord of the 12th house from the 4th house that is the 3rd house which shows the exit from the homeland. 

All the combinations which are placed in the 12th house, aspected by retrograde Saturn which is the lord of 6th house and the 7th house. One more point can be a concern that I told also in the Basic Astrology class that the Rahu Ketu belongs to a foreign element. You can see Rahu is aspecting the Lagna from the 5th house and sitting in the 9th sign which is the 9th house of Kaal Purush Kundali. This native is female and is well-settled abroad. So, this is a perfect example of travel abroad astrology.

Example 2: 

In this birth chart you can see that again Mars is in the 12th house. Mars is the lord of 12th and 5th houses. Mars is with Jupiter which is lord of lagna and 4th house. Lagna lord connected to the 12th house shows that person will be connected to some foreign energy. Again Saturn is aspecting the 12th house being the 3rd house lord.

Foreign Travel is a dream which most of the Young Indians have. But there are only few fortunate for whom this dream come true. Let us try to understand the combinations of Foreign Travel in Astrology. In Now a days due to Technology Boom in India many of the Engineers or Doctors are going to abroad for short duration say 1-2 years. But there are few persons who does not return to country and settle abroad. So we will also see the combinations of foreign settlement in Astrology. There are numerous principles given in the Astrological texts for this but here we will discuss only the most effective and important astrological principles for Travel abroad. So lets see what are planetary combination or Yogas in Kundli that takes a person away from homeland or own country.

Signs which are Most important for Foreign Settlement in Astrology

Signs are of thee types as per their activity-Chara rashi or Movable sign, Sthira Rashi or Fixed Sign and Dual Sign or common Sign.

Chara Rashi or Movable sign-Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn

Sthira Rashi or Fixed Sign-Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius

Dual Sign-Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.

For considering foreign Travel in Astrology Chara Rashi or Movable signas are of Prime importance. Movable Sign means-the changing tendency is high in these signs. So when Planets are placed in these signs, they give a changing tendency to the native like changing of residence, changing of job, changing of country etc.

Sthira Rashi or fixed Signs are not helpful in regards to Foreign settlement in astrology. Planets in these signs gives a tendency to stick to particular place. So those who have more planets in Fixed signs, they do not change their residence or job too much. Going abroad means change of country or change of residence. So planets in fixed sign blocks the chances of going abroad.

Common Sign or dual Sign can give short term foreign travel. Like if you have multiple planets in Dual sign you may go to abroad frequently but for very short duration may be like one month.

The signs are further divided according to quality or Tatwa of the Rashi. They are -Fiery sign, Earthy Sign, Airy Sign and watery Sign.

Fiery Sign-Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.

Earthy Sign-Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn.

Airy Sign-Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.

Watery Sign-Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

Watery Signs like Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are specially Very important for Traveling Abroad. For going to foreign countries we need to cross seas. So watery signs are so much important.Cancer is both Movable and Watery sign. More over it is the natural 4th house of the zodiac. So it has special importance for foreign travel in astrology.

Planets Like Rahu, Moon, Saturn, venus in watery Sign are good indication of Foreign Travel.

Planets That are important for Foreign settlement in Astrology

There are four main planets which helps a person to travel abroad or going out of own country-Rahu/Ketu, Moon, Saturn, Venus. We have to see these 4 planets and their dignities and connection with proper houses in Horoscope for going abroad.

Rahu is the Most important planet for travel abroad. If Rahu is well placed, it can give Foreign Travel in its Dasha. It can give foreign things but it can not guarantee satisfaction. When Rahu is conjunct with 7th lord, 8th lord, 9th lord or 12th lord, it can indicate foreign travel in astrology. Rahu in Lagna or 7th can also give travel abroad.

Moon being the natural 4th Lord, Moon is also equally important when judging Foreign settlement in astrology. According to classics when Moon is placed in Kendra(1,4,7,10) the person can travel a lot within country as well as outside of country. Moon in Watery sign specially when conjunct with Rahu can give foreign travel in astrology. Moon in 8th, 9th or 12th, specially exalted Moon in 12th can indicate foreign settlement in astrology.

Sun also plays interesting Role. Sun represents royalty. It bring native in contact with dignities. When Sun is placed in the 5th house from Ascendant, it is a helpful disposition for Diplomats and traveling abroad.

If Mercury is placed in 4th, the individual changes his residence frequently and travel lot of places. The result will be more prominent if Mercury is placed in Movable signs.

We have to see Few Nakshatras also like Ashwini Nakshatra, Bharani Nakshatra, Ardra nakshatra, Swati Nakshatra, Pussya Nakshatra, Hasta Nakshatra etc while judging the foreign travel in astrology. Moon or Rahu in these Nakshatra will increase the chance of going abroad.

In earlier days, It was seen as a Curse to Leave own country and to go to a foreign country. But with time this curse has turned into Blessing. The Main house for Foreign journey is 12, 9 and Ascendant or Lagna.

12th house is the Foreign land. So This is the Most important House for Foreign settlement in astrology. If Moon is placed in 12th house along with Venus, this is a indication of Foreign Travel in astrology. If Rahu also Joins this conjunction, it becomes a very strong indication of foreign journey. if there is planet like Saturn in 12th house, the individual will have a strong inclination towards foreign country. 9th House Signify fortune, Luck, Long Journeys or long distance travel etc. So this is another important house for foreign travel in astrology. When 9th Lord is placed in 12th house or Vice versa,it indicates that your Fortune is in Foreign land. A group of Planet like 4 or 5 planet in 9th house of 12th house is a strong indication towards foreign travel in astrology.

The Next important house is Lagna or Ascendant. Lagna is the self. Without the approval of Lagna nothing can happen in a Horoscope. So if Lagna lord makes a relation with 12th lord or Lagna Lord sits in the 12th house, it is a strong indication of foreign travel in astrology. If this relations happen in Watery sign Like cancer, Pisces etc or Movable signs like Libra or Capricorn the chances is very high.

In a nutshell we have to see Conjunction, aspect, Exchange between Lagna Lord, 9th Lord and 12th Lord. If these relations involves watery signs or Movable signs, the indications are strong.  The more and strong the relation will be, the more will be the chances of foreign settlement in astrology.

But there is another important house which we have to Look and without the indication from this house traveling abroad is not possible. 4th House is the Home Land or own country. So any Affliction to 4th House or 4th Lord can give Foreign settlement. If the 4th house is Placed in 6th, 8th or 12th and 4th Lord is equally afflicted and there is relation between 9th and 12th house or their Lords, we can predict that there is high chance of foreign settlement in astrology. If there is planets Like Rahu/Ketu, sun or saturn in 4th house, the chance of Going abroad in astrology increases.

when the 4th house or the Lord is not afflicted or weak, the person can not leave his Own country. If there is relation between 9th or 12th but 4th house is very strong, chances for foreign journey will come but the native will not be able to go due some reason. If the 4th house is strong and connected with 5th and 10th house, the person will get good opportunity in own country and do not feel the need to go to abroad.

The are two more houses which also needs some attention. The 7th house and the 3rd house. 7th House also Deals with Foreign Travel. When 7th house is involved with 12th or Planets like Rahu/Ketu there can be Foreign journey due to Business purpose or Business Trip.

3rd House shows short Journeys or short travels. It is not directly connected with foreign travel always but it gives a tendency or inclination towards travel. If there is Planets Like Moon or Ketu is in 3rd house, the likes to travel a lot. If the 3rd Lord makes a relation with 12th lord and 9th lord by aspect, conjunction or Exchange it is strong Yoga for foreign Travel.

One thing we must remember that there is a difference between Foreign travel and Foreign Settlement. For Foreign Travel relation between 3rd, 7th, Lagna, and 9th in a watery or Movable sign is sufficient but foreign settlement in astrology can not happen without the involvement of 12th house or 12th lord.

But we must remember Jupiter should not aspect these combination. Jupiter aspect will block the chance of going abroad.

Methods to predict Foreign Travel from Horoscope

Now Lets see which Planetary combinations Promise Foreign Travel & Foreign settlement in Astrology. The Below is a effective way of how to see the Yogas for Foreign Travel in a Horoscope.

• The fourth house or the fourth lord has to be afflicted from Lagna.
• Rahu/Ketu should be connected via conjunction or Nakshatra exchange with 4th lord or 4th house.
• Whenever 4th House is afflicted and 4th Lord is placed in Dusthana Like 6, 8 or 12th house, the native leaves his or her homeland to settle abroad.
• We need to see all these factors from Lagna as well as Moon and also in Navamsa and chaturthamsa or D4.
• If the 9th or the 12th house of a Horoscope falls in Moveable or Watery signs or the 9th & 12th lord is placed in Movable or watery signs Foreign Travel is indicated. For example If the 4th Lord is placed in the 9th house with 12th lord and the sign is also Movable or watery signs, it is a indication of Foreign Travel for higher education.
• When 4th lord is placed in 12th house then native will find more auspicious living in abroad rather than at his native place.
• Association of 5th, 9th, and 12th lords in the Dasamsha indicate traveling abroad for professional reasons. These persons are usually employed as skilled professional like (scientists, professors, etc.)in abroad.
• Please note if Rahu is in 12th house with 9th lord specially in a watery sign will surely give foreign Travel in its Dasha-Antardasha. Planets Like Rahu or saturn in 12th house can give foreign settlement.
• If the lord of the house of marriage or the 7th house is associated with 8th, 9th or 12th house or its Lords, it indicates foreign travel after marriage.
• If the Lagna and Lagna lord both are in moveable signs or dual signs then it would indicate foreign travel. Lagna indicates self. So when the sign which indicates self and the lord of that sign are in moveable or dual signs which indicates movement it can create Yogas of foreign travel in astrology for the person.

Timing of Travel abroad in astrology

When there are sufficient chances in the natal chart for going abroad, the native may go for foreign travels during any of the periods mentioned below

• Dasha-Antardasha of the 9th lord or the 12th lord, or the planets that are connected with the 12th lord or 12th house.
• Dasha of Venus, Rahu/Ketu, Moon , saturn if these planets are connected with 12th house
• During Transit when Planets like Rahu or saturn comes in 8th house or in Moon Nakshatra, that is also a good time for Abroad travel.
• Dasha of Rahu is very special for foreign travel in astrology as Rahu is the Significator of foreign. Saturn period is also equally important.
• Those who go for foreign countries for vacation once in a year or like that, they generally do not have any major combination of foreign travel in their Kundli or Horoscope but in transit, their 4th house gets afflicted due to some or other reason.

Great Luck In Foreign Countries

The Grass is always green in other side of the Road. But it is not always true.  Lets see which planetary combination or yogas give beneficial result in foreign country.

The 11th house is the financial gain, and so if a person has the 11th house lord placed in the 6th house, the person has great luck to go abroad and work in foreign countries. We should not forget about 11th House from Arudha Lagna also. Arudha Lagna is our Maya or how other people see us. So quite often if you go to abroad people think you as a wealthy and rich person. So your 11th house from AL should be very strong for getting good fortune in Foreign countries.

If you have the 11th house lord in the 12th house you will have friends abroad.

If your Lagna lord or Ascendant lord is in the 7th house you will constantly travel abroad for your business purpose or for work.

In case you have few of the above mentioned Yogas, you can be lucky during foreign travel in astrology.

But if Malefic Planets like Rahu, saturn, Mars occupy the 12th house in Horoscope, though you will be able to go abroad but you will not enjoy the stay there. If Rahu is placed in 12th house, it is a strongest indication of working abroad, but it will be full of stress.

If Some one is having 4th lord conjunct with 5th lord and with Lagna lord and 4th house has lot of benefic aspect, such person will not be interested in going abroad. He will get lot of opportunity in his home land.

There are specific periods of time (ranging from months to years) in which a person has a peak time in foreign countries. After the ruling periods (dasha) of such planets end, your stay abroad will end and you will come back to your home country and will have to start all over again in your homeland. But by doing remedies you can prevent such things to a great extent.

Purpose of Foreign Travel in Astrology

Now Lets understand the answer Why a person will go to abroad ? Will the native go for education or Job or something else ? Lets find out the answer.

If there is a strong connection between houses and Lords of 5th, 10th, 7th, 9th and 12th house, the person may go to foreign Land for higher education. 5th is the house of intelligence and education and 9th is also the house of long distance travel as well as higher education. The related planets should be in Movable sign or in watery sign.The individual should run correct Dasha also. Connection between 4-5-7-8-9-10-12 needs to be checked with Rahu, Saturn and Moon for checking Foreign travel for education purpose. What i have seen in practical cases that Jupiter involvement or presence of Saraswati Yoga is very beneficial in this regard.

Now Lets understand in what Planetary combination a person goes to abroad for diplomatic service. For this we have to see the connection between Lagna-5-7-8-9-10-12 house and their Lord along with Rahu, Moon and Sun. Various Raj Yoga and Dhana Yoga should also be present in the Horoscope. Dasha of the connected planets can take them to foreign land.

When 7th house and its lord is connected with 9th house and 12th house as well as with their Lord there is chance of going to abroad after marriage. 4th house should be afflicted. Rahu and Significator of marriage Venus also plays an important role in this case of foreign travel in astrology after marriage. 8th house also to be considered and if it is a Love marriage, we have to include 5th house also. Venus is connected with 12th house or 8th house and Rahu in Rashi chart and Navamsa Chart (D9) this is a strong Indication of Foreign settlement after marriage astrology.

Some Specific Rule exclusively for foreign Settlement in astrology

As we told earlier that there is a difference between Foreign travel and foreign settlement. For Foreign settlement in astrology the role of 12th house and 4th house is most vital. In a most simple words i would like to say that a strong 12th house and a weak 4th house is needed for foreign settlement in astrology.

As it involves transfer of residence, the 4th lord must have affliction from two or more malefic planets like Rahu/Ketu or Saturn or sun etc. We have to check the chartuthamsa or D4 chart also and should see the condition of 4th house and 12th house and their lord. Generally Rahu Dasha is most effective for foreign travel in astrology as rahu is the Mlechha Karaka or Foregn planet. Generally if we see a connection between the house or Lords of 12-9-8-6 in a movable or watery sign, we can predict that there is high chance of foreign settlement in astrology.

• 9th house: This house shows long-distance travels or foreign travels
• 12th house: This house shows a foreign settlement

For checking abroad settlement yoga in kundli , astrologers mainly analyze three houses in the birth chart of the native.

As per astrology, any connection between these three houses in terms of conjunction, aspect, and placement indicates abroad settlement. Any connection of ascendant or ascendant lord placed in movable sign gives strength to abroad settlement yoga in Birth Chart . 

• 7th house: This house also shows foreign travels and its connection with other houses of foreign travels gives a sure indication of foreign travel and settlement as per the related significations.

The 9th house of the birth chart is the house of distant travel. These can last from weeks, months to Years.

Mercury linked with the 9 th house indicates the native will do foreign travel to a distant place for education or higher studies. A strong link between the 9 th house of the birth chart and the 12 th house indicates permanent or temporary stay abroad. This stay can be students pursuing higher education in foreign universities. However, a strong 12th house with malefic like Rahu indicates permanent settlement for the native. So a malefic like Rahu in a 12th house can be good as it indicates foreign travel in astrology.

The presence of the malefic planet in the 4 th house indicates a foreign settlement as well.  4 th house signifies homeland and malefic present or aspecting the 4 th house and the 4 th lord indicates settlement away from home. The link between the lagnesh and the 12 th house indicates the native’s inclination to settle overseas. Malefic in the 4 th house and the connection between the 1 st and 12 th indicate the native’s desire to stay away from his country of birth. A movable sign in lagan or the house where lagan lord occupies indicates the person’s strong desire to move away from one place to another place. Such natives will not be stationary in one place and would always be on the move. Further Rahu posited in 4 th house or aspect on Lagna only makes this condition much stronger in the native chart.

  One thing to remember is that the presence of a dual-natured sign (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces) or a movable sign (Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) in the 9th house enhances the probability of foreign travels as compared to fixed signs.

The lord of the 10 th house connected with the 12 th house indicates the native going overseas for business/ job/ project. The probability of staying overseas depends upon the sign and the strength of the significators involved. Rahu connected with 4 th , 9 th , 10 th & 12 th also indicates a strong yog for foreign travel in astrology.

If the lord of the house of marriage or the 7th house is associated with the 9th or 12th house, it indicates foreign travel after marriage; the native may go for a honeymoon in a foreign country.

The relationship between the lord of the 4th house and the lord of the 9th house indicates a trip related to a foreign land. It could be for higher studies or for a teaching mission.

Due to these advantages, people have become very much interested in going to foreign countries or abroad/ Overseas. It is true that – reasons for visiting foreign countries are not the same for everybody. Some are going for education purposes, some to get new jobs, some people are going on a business trip to grow his/her own business and make international relationships. Some are going on a trip for self-pleasure etc. Objectives are different but all are foreign journeys. You must be thinking that – is it possible to know that – is there any indication in horoscope or Kundli of foreign travel/ planetary positions for foreign settlement or not? the answer is “yes”. Foreign settlement clues you will be getting from this article but in detail, I will discuss later. According to “Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra” 10 th house and 4 th house combination are very important for foreign travel. It says the lord of the 10 th house in any nativity whenever is associated with 4 th house or its lord with the full strength it indicates foreign travel. “Sarvatha Chintamani” also supports Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra but adds two more houses with that, those are – 7 th house and 9 th house. But, in present days scenarios, we also find one house which plays an important role that is the 12 th house.

In my experience I have seen four houses are very important in the case of foreign travels:

• 10 th house
• 12 th house

Sometimes the 8 th house also plays a very important role to make one move to foreign countries. But, as the 8 th house is not the auspicious house so very carefully we have to judge this. Only 8 th house matters can create such a situation in your life that you will be compelled to go to a foreign land. That I will discuss later, but for the time being, take the above-mentioned houses as primary to take the decision about foreign journeys.

Strong 8 th house if aspected by benefic planets and associated with the 11 th house so it can give sudden or easy gains in foreign lands. But, always remember that, when the 8 th house will be associated with any gain in life so that gain will bring tension and huge mental pressure. Sometimes in some charts, I find the 4 th house is damaged by a strong 8 th lord. 4 th house is your motherland or birthplace if that is damaged and there is a strong foreign travel yoga in horoscope so that will send the native to foreign land obviously. Because the person won’t be able to stay in his/her birthplace for a long period of time due to several problems.

The 10 th house or its lord is connected with the 12 th house it also shows journeys to foreign or distant lands. The profitability of staying there in foreign lands largely depends on the signification (Planetary signification).

If in any birth chart or horoscope “foreign travel” houses are connected and there is a connection of Rahu with that particular yoga, so it is definite that In Rahu Mahadasa or Antardasa the person will travel foreign countries.

If somehow, Rahu is connected with any inauspicious planet and not aspected by any auspicious planet so there can be difficulties in foreign travel or foreign travel won’t be beneficial for him/her. Rahu keeps a person always moving from one place to another if this planet is under any bad influence or ill-placed.

The connection between the 1 st and 12 th house always keeps a native away from his/her birthplace, but if the 4 th house is also strong so the person will return to his birthplace at a certain age. The age depends on the Dasa/ Antardasa of 4 th house lord or its associated planets.

9 th house connection with foreign travel yoga indicates that the travel is related to searching for “Guru” or Master or Mentor or a good Teacher. It is not always religious “Guru” or Master. Sometimes this indicates travel like – the native wants to learn something from a particular person (organization or institute) who stays in the foreign land. The 9th house also indicates a journey to a foreign land for higher studies or research. In this case, the 5 th house also should be involved. In some research fields 8 th house and Rahu, two have a great impact. Especially those research fields which are not related to the mainstream.

Some astrologers opine that – if maximum planets in a horoscope or birth chart are connected with movable or dual Rashi or sign so the person will travel foreign lands. In my practical experience, I have seen that it is true but partly. If there is no involvement of 7 th , 9 th or 12 th houses in this yoga so the foreign travel is impossible, only movable sign indication is not enough.

If the 7 th house is associated with 12 th house or 9 th house so the travel would be in business purpose to make international relationships. If the 10 th house is also associated with this yoga so that could be a foreign journey due to any high administrative purpose.

If somehow 6 th house connects with foreign travel-related yogas so the travel would be in the purpose of his/her service field related. ( Company will sponsor the travel, where the native works).

Now the question is when one will travel abroad. Here the Dasa System will come into the picture – Vimsottori Mahadasa and Antardasa.

Here 9 th lord first comes into the picture. In maximum cases 9 th lord makes the situation to go abroad If this lord is associated with strong 5 th or 4 th house lord so that would be on the purpose of higher studies. But, if the 9 th house or lord has any connection with the 10 th house or lord so that would be work or job purpose.

As I mentioned earlier that Rahu always represents foreign land, on this planet’s period the foreign travel very much possible.

Associated planets with 7 th , 8 th , & 12 th house indicate foreign travels. So in their Mahadasa or Antardasa foreign travel is possible.

Transit also plays a very important role. For example – If Jupiter is placed in 7 th or 9 th or 12 th house in transit so in that time foreign travel is possible. But, please remember, if there is no foreign travel yoga in horoscope or if any foreign travel-related yoga planet’s Dasa is not going on at that time so the transit system won’t work.

If you want to know planet wise, so, I have observed that in maximum cases Mahadasa of some planets has become responsible for moving somebody to foreign lands – Those are – Jupiter Mahadasa, Rahu Mahadasa, Ketu Mahadasa, and Saturn Mahadasa. In the case of Ketu, Mahadasa Sign lord is very important.

If all are well connected and well placed so you will get the green card. Arudha Lagna is very very important here (Arudha Lagna represents your existence in this world of illusion – your appearance to the society).

without proper birth data I can not tell you anything through traditional vedic astrology system. But, there is another way to get the answer, that is through “Horary Astrology”. In this system if you do not have correct birth details then also I can predict your future. Palmistry is also there and most importantly “Birth Time Rectification Formula”, with the help of which your birth time can be corrected, if you at least know the approximate time. Numerology will also help to some extent.

Now all these things cannot be done here, for that, because all those procedures are time consuming and you will have to be live at least over phone, because I need some other information from you, while judging your horoscope.

Your birth time is not fully clear to me, is it am or pm? I think you missed it out. Anyways, I will show you the way how to see that – there is any foreign travel yoga or combination again in your horoscope or not. One thing is for sure that you have that combination in your birth chart otherwise it would not be possible for you to travel abroad last time. But whether you will be able to travel again or not for that you will have to concentrate on Dasa System – Mahadasa and Antardasa both, and most importantly the “gochar” or transit. Judge your horoscope properly last time in which dasa and antardasa you had gone to foreign land? then look for it’s associated planets with their “Nakshtra” and “Argala” or “Planetary Intervened” planets. Also see among them who is in good relation with the dasa lord and where those planets are in transit. If these two planets what you have sorted out are also connected in transit somehow so the 50% work is done. In Rashi chart and transit – 9th & 5th house is very important in case of higher educational purpose.

Now another 50% will be depending upon the houses and on a Divisional Chart Called “Siddhyamsa” or D-24. You know, houses are very important here. As higher education is your objective to go to foreign land, so D-24 will play a very important role over here. This Divisional chart is called “The Chart Of Education”. How you have looked for foreign travel yoga in your Rashi Chart (the clue you will get in this article) just search for the same in D-24. Only two things you will have add – 1. Argala, 2. Nakshatra. Always remember if there is a clear indication in your Rashi Chart that – you will go to foreign land but your D-24 is not supporting that, so, after trying a lot also your all efforts will be in vain, as far as your education purpose is concern.

If you want to see the settlement in abroad combination is there in your chart or not, you need to check at first that whether you have any foreign travel yoga or not or any combination that connects you with foreign land is present in your birth chart or not. If the connection is absent so there is no logic to judge the horoscope for foreign settlement at all. Why I am saying so? The answer is to judge whether you have the foreign settlement combination in your chart or not, that is a bit of advance level part of Vedic Astrology. So before going to advance level we should start with the basic, if the basic is not supporting so no need to go into deep, just be relax and concentrate on your present job.

To check that – Read the above article. It will help you to find out your answer. In this case you have to judge two charts. 1. your rashi chart or natal chart 2. your d-10 or “dasamamsa”. D-10 will come into the picture because so many people are going to abroad for professional purpose. Also check the D2 or Hora chart to see there would be a rise in income level or not. To see whether you have career in foreign country or not you need judge your Natal chart and D-10 or Dasamamsa, which is called the chart of Career. At first try to find out foreign connection in your horoscope with the help of the above given information (Add nakshatrik yoga too, what has not been mentioned here, because it is little bit advance judgement procedure in astrology), if there is any foreign connection then see whether 10th house or lord somehow is associated with that combination or not. Connection doesn’t mean all the time it should be palnetary directly, you need to see all kind of connections, like – Nakshatrik connection, Argala connection (planetary intervention) etc., beside all planetary connections like – aspect, planetary exchange, placement etc. All these what I have mentioned you have to see from D-10 and Rashi Chart. If all connections are there so you will definitely get a foreign job. If not so the result will be negative..

Whether you should go for MBA or not, one chart can only unfold that mystery properly that is D-24 or “Siddhyamsa” – this chart is called the chart of education. From this chart we come to know that which stream of education someone needs to take for his/her future career improvement. MBA is also subdivided into many parts which is called “specialization”. Like – MBA in Finance, MBA in Marketing etc. You never have mentioned the specialization but still for your help I can tell you that – In Astrology education is judged from 4 houses – 2nd house, 4th house, 5th house and finally ninth. Sometimes 8th house also plays a very important role in research based education. In your case it is the matter of 9th house. If you want do MBA in finance so see the connection between Jupiter, 5th house and lagna in D-24 of your horoscope. If that is marketing so see the connection between 1st house, 2nd house, 3rd house and Mercury. Remeber all combinations should be well connected with 9th house too. See which connection is present in your chart (include- nakshatra, argala connection too). Which connection will be present in chart that will be your stream, if there is no connection or any dusthana lord is associated with any of the mentioned combination, so do not go with that stream of education.

Now as far as your Mahadasa question is concern, so, any dasa could be bad if the dasa lord is ill placed or badly influenced and any dasa could be good if the dasa lord is well placed or under good influence. So look at your horoscope and see the state of dasa lords.

In case of government job yogas the strength of Sun and 10th house should be very strong, after that other planets can help you too, but it is simply depending upon the type of field you are talking about. For example – If you are trying to get teacher job in government sector so Jupiter will come into the picture. The yoga should be checked from Rashi chart and D-10 both.

You never have given me your full birth data, so I do not have any other choice without taking as final data what you have mentioned here. If you read Astrology properly so you will find that one house doesn't indicate only one part of life. It represents many other parts as well. Like that 12th house also does the same. 12th and 9th really deals with foreign land, but remember 12th is also the highest malefic house in Horoscope. Again this 12th house is also represents "Moksha" or enlightenment. It enhances creativity because while we travel we activate certain houses in astrology which I will discuss later. Marketing and sales will also involve travelling. So travelling can be related to any profession. For analyzing a career in travelling or to be a traveller you need to analyse the following in vedic astrology:

• 1st house: 1st house is your self and personality. It shows the life path of an individual. The placement of lord of first house gives an indication of the life path of an individual.
• 3rd house: I still remember my friend used to travel a lot while her 3rd house got activated. 3rd house is the house of short distance travel or places away from homeland as it is 12th from 4th house of home. So activation of any planet of third house can make one travel. Moon in third house shows a lot of travelling.
• 7th house: 7th house is the reflection of yourself and it is the house to decide if you will travel. 7th house represents places away from birth place.
• 9th house: It is the house of long distance travel.
• 11th house: 11th house is 8th from 4th house of homeland. It shows leaving home and going to foreign land.
• 12th house: 12th house is the house of foreign land and it shows landing in a completely new place which you have never seen.

Moon in 12th house in watery sign or in 3rd house in watery sign shows the person has foreign connection, Travelling for career purpose may take place if moon is connected with 10th lord.

First we need to check the placement of ascendant lord. The more further the ascendant lord from 7th house (including the 7th house), more chances for foreign travel. Ascendant lord in 12th house shows foreign settlement and person gets all success in foreign land.

For example: if moon is your ascendant lord (cancer ascendant) and is in 9th or 12th house of long distance travel it shows settlement in foreign land. If sun is your ascendant lord (Leo ascendant) and is in 7th house shows home away from home as 7th house is 4th from 4th house.
