Weather was great, except the fog early on, so we only knew we were at the River, when we got to the River. The Schengen visit is VERY informative, with a most enthusiastic guide. Caves du Sud, is just a basic (lots of ) wines tasting. Cave St Martin started with a VERY informative tour, and some great wines to taste. Lunch stop in Remich was very enjoyable(We spent the day with J from Singapore, and M & S from Germany) River Cruise was just beautiful. Only odd thing was an unadvertised stop at a family museum. We found the first stop ok and got on the bus. No stops were really announced except for the pre recording commentary that didn't really line up with the stops. When the bus eventually did stop (at stop 4) we worked our way downstairs and the driver opened the doors only to close them on my nephew and I twice before we could even get out. We eventually got off the bus and explored the area. We realised it wasn't worth waiting the 30 mins or so for the next bus and walked back to the train station. The next morning we did another trip only to have the same driver open and close the doors on us again as we were getting on. There was no apology or anything. Again the bus only stopped at a couple stops and knowing now that the public transport was free, I don't feel that the price and what you get is worth it. Read more Written September 19, 2023

There was just myself and my wife with our guide Marc, and we wouldn't have blamed the company if they had cancelled for that number of participants. So we felt really privileged to have had Marc all to ourselves. If you only have a couple days in Luxembourg City, there is no way you can see it all unless you take this tour. It's a gorgeous town with so much beautiful scenery. The E-bikes are great (and often necessary). We are 76 and experienced riders and had no problem with the bikes or the occasional steep grades. No matter, we ended up getting a couple of (free) buses to Moselle from Luxembourg City, and spent an afternoon there, including an hour on a boat trip (€12.50 each). We also walked over the bridge into Germany and ate at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the river. Program of the day

10:00 - 10:45: mullerthal trail and schiessentümpel waterfall.

The waterfall, known as Schiessentümpel, with its three water jets on the Black Ernz is one of the most photographed motives of the Mullerthal Region, Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. This is a 45-minute walking tour. Please make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes, especially at the Schiessentümpel waterfall.

11:00: Beaufort Castle

One stop at Beaufort to take some photos and admire the view. During Spring and Summer season, the Beaufort Castle is open to the public.

12:00 - 14:00: Vianden Castle - An outstanding monument

The small medieval town of Vianden attracts thousands of visitors every year. Particularly worth seeing are the imposing castle that overlooks the town, the town wall with its fortified towers and Luxembourg's only chairlift. During our stop you have 2 hours of free time that you can plan for yourself. We recommend that you bring a lunch or snack if you don't want to waste time in a restaurant, otherwise the time might be too short.

15:15 - 16:00: The old town of Echternach

Echternach is the oldest town in Luxembourg and was founded in 698 by the Benedictine monk Willibrord. Visit the most beautiful places and buildings of Echternach, like the Basilica, the abbey and the market. After Echternach, we will return to the departure point in Luxembourg City.

When the bus eventually did stop (at stop 4) we worked our way downstairs and the driver opened the doors only to close them on my nephew and I twice before we could even get out. We eventually got off the bus and explored the area. We realised it wasn't worth waiting the 30 mins or so for the next bus and walked back to the train station. The next morning we did another trip only to have the same driver open and close the doors on us again as we were getting on. There was no apology or anything. There was just myself and my wife with our guide Marc, and we wouldn't have blamed the company if they had cancelled for that number of participants. So we felt really privileged to have had Marc all to ourselves. If you only have a couple days in Luxembourg City, there is no way you can see it all unless you take this tour. It's a gorgeous town with so much beautiful scenery. The E-bikes are great (and often necessary). We are 76 and experienced riders and had no problem with the bikes or the occasional steep grades. No matter, we ended up getting a couple of (free) buses to Moselle from Luxembourg City, and spent an afternoon there, including an hour on a boat trip (€12.50 each). We also walked over the bridge into Germany and ate at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the river. A typical tour would start with pick-up at your hotel/home/company in the morning. We drive to the stunning northern part of Luxembourg and visit the castle of Vianden and/or Bourscheid from the inside. After lunch at a traditional restaurant we continue our castle tour. We can either make an in-depth visit of one castle or make a castle safari and see many fairytale castles from the outside. Drop-off before or after dinner.

Weather was great, except the fog early on, so we only knew we were at the River, when we got to the River. The Schengen visit is VERY informative, with a most enthusiastic guide. Lunch stop in Remich was very enjoyable(We spent the day with J from Singapore, and M & S from Germany) River Cruise was just beautiful. Only odd thing was an unadvertised stop at a family museum. • Jo C 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Over priced for what you get I really did feel that this was overpriced and no service at all. My nephew and I had a 24 hour ticket. We found the first stop ok and got on the bus. No stops were really announced except for the pre recording commentary that didn't really line up with the stops. When the bus eventually did stop (at stop 4) we worked our way downstairs and the driver opened the doors only to close them on my nephew and I twice before we could even get out. We eventually got off the bus and explored the area. We realised it wasn't worth waiting the 30 mins or so for the next bus and walked back to the train station. The next morning we did another trip only to have the same driver open and close the doors on us again as we were getting on. There was no apology or anything. Again the bus only stopped at a couple stops and knowing now that the public transport was free, I don't feel that the price and what you get is worth it. Read more Written 19 September 2023
• SteveV160 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Only Way to Really See Luxembourg City This was far and away one of the highlights of our 4 weeks in Europe. There was just myself and my wife with our guide Marc, and we wouldn't have blamed the company if they had cancelled for that number of participants. So we felt really privileged to have had Marc all to ourselves. If you only have a couple days in Luxembourg City, there is no way you can see it all unless you take this tour. It's a gorgeous town with so much beautiful scenery. The E-bikes are great (and often necessary). We are 76 and experienced riders and had no problem with the bikes or the occasional steep grades. When we returned home and requested a full refund of £60 they only returned £24. Do not use this company. The company in question are owned by Tripadvisor !!! Read more Written 12 September 2023

• 420jacquia 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles We didn't go as it was cancelled The trip was cancelled unfortunately the day before, as not enough people attending. No matter, we ended up getting a couple of (free) buses to Moselle from Luxembourg City, and spent an afternoon there, including an hour on a boat trip (€12.50 each). We also walked over the bridge into Germany and ate at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the river. Not sure why but for some reason, I was still sent a reminder for this trip even though it was cancelled and also asked to leave a review. Read more Written 10 September 2023

Driver/host was very friendly, helpful and could speak multiple languages. Walking tours are very strenuous here (you are either going up or down, not many flats.) This was a welcome break.
