September 25, 2023  –  Following the success of the 2023 Freedom Tour, legendary rock band  JOURNEY has announced a new round of shows for their 50 th Anniversary Freedom Tour 2024  featuring very special guest  TOTO.

  JOURNEY – Diamond-selling Rock & Roll Hall of Famers – will take the stage in 30 cities across North America with their catalog of global chart-topping hits, including  “Don’t Stop Believin”, “Any Way You Want It”, “Faithfully”, “Lights”  and more.

Presented by AEG Presents,  JOURNEY Freedom Tour 2024  begins  February 8  in Biloxi, MS – making stops in Raleigh, Louisville, Omaha, Las Vegas and more – before wrapping  April 29  in Bridgeport, CT.

JOURNEY  features founder Neal Schon  (lead guitarist),  Jonathan Cain  (keyboards, backing vocals),  Arnel Pineda  (lead vocals)  Jason Derlatka  (keyboards, vocals), and  Deen Castronovo  (drums, vocals) and  Todd Jensen  (bass). Neal Schon is a 3x Hall of Fame inductee, having been inducted to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Grammy Hall of Fame.  Jon Cain is a recipient of two BMI songwriter awards and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Journey.

Journey Announce Huge 2023 North American Tour With Toto

Journey and Toto had such a great time touring together in 2022, they're going to do it together again in 2023. The two legendary rock bands will share the stage on the continuation of Journey's 50th anniversary "Freedom Tour."

The new batch of dates start Feb. 4 in Allentown, Pa., keeping the bands on the road through the April 25 finale in Palm Springs, Calif. You can see all of the dates, cities and venues listed below. It should also be noted that a handful of shows are ones that have been rescheduled from earlier this year when the band had to postpone dates due to COVID-19.

Journey has announced a 2023 50th-anniversary tour  featuring Toto .

The Freedom Tour will kick off on Feb. 4 in Allentown, Pa., and continue through  April 25 in Palm Springs, Calif. You can see a complete list of dates below.

"Excited to perform for our fans as we tour next year with Toto," Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain said in a press release. "The combined hits of both bands represent a couple of decades of excellence that have become a soundtrack for people's lives. The music of Journey along with the music of Toto is an example of 'certain music' during 'uncertain times.'"

Tickets for all dates will be available beginning Oct. 21.

"On behalf of myself and the band, we are very honored and excited to do this tour with our old and dear friends Journey," Toto's Steve Lukather said. "Gonna be a great night of music, and as all the guys are lifelong friends ... a blast offstage as well."

Last year, Journey embarked on an extensive trek , also titled the Freedom Tour, that included guest appearances from Toto and Billy Idol . The Journey lineup now consists of Cain and guitarist  Neal Schon , plus singer  Arnel Pineda , keyboardist and singer Jason Derlatka, drummer  Deen Castronovo  and bassist  Todd Jenson .

Journey are returning to the road in 2023 for a 38-city North American tour with Toto .

“Freedom Tour 2023” will kick off on February 4th in Allentown, PA, and make subsequent stops in cities including Austin, Montreal, Toronto, Memphis, and Washington, DC. The trek will wrap on April 25th in Palm Springs, California.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 21st at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster . A Live Nation pre-sale begins on Thursday, Oct 20th at the same time (use access code PUMPKIN ).

In July, Journey released their first new album of original recordings in 11 years, titled Freedom . Around the time of its release, founding member and guitarist Neal Schon sat down with Kyle Meredith to talk about the album and being influenced by Chaka Khan, Prince, and Jimi Hendrix.

JOURNEY Announces Early 2024 North American Tour With TOTO

Following the success of the 2023 "Freedom" tour, legendary rockers JOURNEY have announced a new round of shows for their 50th-anniversary tour featuring very special guest TOTO . Presented by AEG Presents , JOURNEY 's "Freedom" tour 2024 will kick off on February 9 in Biloxi, Mississippi, making stops in Raleigh, Louisville, Omaha, Las Vegas and more, before wrapping on April 29 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

JOURNEY will take the stage in 30 cities across North America with its catalog of global chart-topping hits, including "Don't Stop Believin'" , "Any Way You Want It" , "Faithfully" , "Lights" and more.

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for the U.S. dates beginning Tuesday, September 26 at 10 a.m. local time until Thursday, September 28 at 10 p.m. local time for most shows. Journey has revealed the continuation of their... journey on the road in celebration of their 50th anniversary. The band announced new tour dates for next year with very special guest, Toto. The two legendary rock bands had previously toured together in early 2022 for a US arena tour. See Journey's most recent setlist here .

The 'Freedom Tour 2023' will hit North America starting February 4 in Allentown, PA. The trek, which is in support of their 2022 release and fifteenth studio album Freedom , will run through April 25 at its wrap in Palm Springs, CA.

Tickets are set to go on sale October 21 at 10AM local.

Journey Announce Full 2022 Tour With Billy Idol & Toto 

Less than a month away from a planned residency in Las Vegas, Journey announced a sprawling new tour for 2022, which will take the band throughout the the United States (plus a couple stops in Canada) over a four month span.

“Dear friends we’re back!,” reads the post announcing the tour on social media. “Come out and Rock with us on our JOURNEY FREEDOM TOUR 2022 with very special guests Billy Idol & Toto”

Tickets for Journey’s tour are on sale to the general public on Friday November 19. Presale opportunities opened on Wednesday for the tour, which kicks off on February 22 in Pittsburgh and wraps on May 11 in Hartford.

The tour is the first major run by the band since it had to call off its entire planed tour in 2020 with The Pretenders due to COVID. At the time, the group opted to cancel outright in May of 2020 rather than subject fans to what turned into a lengthy series of postponements for many tours that tried to hold out in the face of the pandemic.

“There is no greater thrill for us than playing for our incredible devoted audience. Having seen what the world has endured during the last 45 days, and not knowing what the rest of this year or 2021 will bring, we knew the right thing to do was to make sure our fans’ health was not put in jeopardy and to provide immediate access to refund options given the unexpected events caused by this terrible virus,” the group shared in a  statement at the time of the cancellation.

This new tour will see dates in 40 cities, including Boston, Detroit, Toronto, Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Nashville, and Washington D.C. Idol and Toto will be in support, but it isn’t clear what cities will feature what acts (the tour announcement indicates that the special guests will vary by city).

One of the most legendary rock bands of all time, Journey, announces the continuation of their highly successful tour with the 50th Anniversary Celebration Freedom Tour 2023 featuring very special guest Toto on all dates. Journey, the Diamond-selling Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, will take the stage in 38 cities across North America with their catalog of global chart-topping hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Faithfully,” “Lights” and more.

Presented by AEG Presents, Journey Freedom Tour 2023 begins February 4th in Allentown, PA – making stops in Austin, Montreal, Memphis and more – before wrapping April 25th at the brand new Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, CA. The 2023 run includes rescheduled dates in Washington DC, Hartford, Toronto and Quebec that were postponed earlier this year due to COVID.

50 years in, the Journey journey is far from over.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group just announced their 50th anniversary ‘Freedom Tour’ with special guest Toto that will send them to arenas all over North America from February through April 2024.

That includes a stop at Rochester, NY’s Blue Cross Arena on Thursday, Feb. 22.

Journey new music

In 2022, Journey dropped their 16th studio album “Freedom.”

The 73-minute record is comprised of 15 songs that all harken back to the band’s glory years.

Anthemic choruses, soaring guitar solos and heartfelt ballads litter the record.

For our money, the hard rockin’ “You Got The Best Of Me” is the highlight of “Freedom” although the catchy “All Day And All Night” comes in a close second.

Steve Lukather’s long-running rock group are headliners in their own right.

Journey Announce 2024 'Freedom Tour' Dates With Toto

Legendary rockers Journey have announced new dates for their 50th anniversary tour featuring special guests Toto .

"Freedom Tour 2024" will kick off on February 9 in Biloxi, Mississippi, and will feature stops across Raleigh, Louisville, Omaha, Las Vegas and more, before wrapping on April 29 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

"We are looking forward to hitting the road again with our very good friends Toto," Journey guitarist Neal Schon said in a press release. "Come join us for a special evening full of fun and rockin' good memories. See you soon, friends."

Tickets for all shows will be available starting September 29, except Sioux City, which begins October 5.

"We are thrilled to have been asked to join our dear friends Journey on the road again," Toto's Steve Lukather added. "We had such a blast the last couple of tours across North America together. Great success and so much fun. It is truly one big happy family, and it is a great night of music. Can't wait to see you all out there soon in 2024!"

Journey, Toto Announce 2023 Tour Dates

The classic rock icons will continue their Freedom trek in February

Journey and TOTO are continuing their Freedom Tour next year. The new North American leg begins on February 4 at PPL Center in Allentown, PA and wraps up on April 25 at at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, CA. Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 21 HERE .

“We are looking forward to hitting the road again with our very good friends Toto!” Journey guitarist Neal Schon said in a statement. “Come join us for a special evening full of fun and rockin’ good memories. See you soon, friends.”

“Excited to perform for our fans as we tour next year with Toto,” adds Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain. “The combined hits of both bands represent a couple of decades of excellence that have become a soundtrack for people’s lives. The music of Journey along with the music of Toto is an example of ‘certain music’ during ‘uncertain times.'”

“On behalf of myself and the band, we are very honored and excited to do this tour with our old and dear friends Journey,” Toto’s Steve Lukather said. “Gonna be a great night of music, and as all the guys are lifelong friends – a blast offstage as well.”

Last year, both legendary bands embarked on a equally large arena run . Back in July, Journey released Freedom – their first all-new studio album in over a decade. TOTO’s last LP was 2018’s Old Is New .

One of the most legendary rock bands of all time, JOURNEY has announced the continuation of their highly successful tour with the 50th-anniversary celebration “Freedom Tour 2023” featuring very special guest TOTO . JOURNEY , diamond-selling Rock And Roll Hall Of Famers, will take the stage in 38 cities across North America with their catalog of global chart-topping hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin'”, “Any Way You Want It”, “Faithfully” and “Lights”.

JOURNEY and TOTO previously joined forces for an early 2022 U.S. arena tour.

JOURNEY is continuing to promote its latest album, “Freedom” , which was released in July via BMG . The LP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Current Rock chart.

The members of JOURNEY celebrated the album’s release by kicking off a residency featuring special symphony orchestra performances at the new, state-of-the-art Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas.

As JOURNEY ‘s legend continues to grow larger and their touring gets bigger, “Freedom” is the band’s first album of new material to be released in eleven years, since 2011’s “Eclipse” , and in addition to Schon , along with longtime keyboard player and primary lyricist Cain and Pineda , one more member was recruited for the LP — bassist extraordinaire Randy Jackson , who had played on JOURNEY ‘s 1986 album “Raised On Radio” .

Inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2017, JOURNEY has 25 gold and platinum albums, with total sales adding up to over 100 million albums worldwide, earning the band two Diamond Awards with a third on the way for the “Frontiers” album. JOURNEY has also surpassed one billion streams on Spotify .
