Avoid this company

Avoid this company, especially if punctuality is crucial for catching a flight or similar. Not only our trip was delayed by 1 hour but they charged us twice and refused a refund when we realized this a couple of days later, making it a total scam for us! Consider better alternatives: 1- Bus: Orléans Express 2- Train: VIA Rail Canada 3- Car share: Kangaride

DANGEROUS DRIVER - HE TEXTS AND DRIVES

Unsafe and dangerous driving. I would never recommend this shuttle bus service to anyone. Yes they are polite but who cares when your life is at risk. The 2nd time I got this driver, so this is not some random event. He speeds, tail-gates, and most dangerously he texts while driving. He finds everything to do under the sun while driving: opening candy wrapper, even opening bottle of water, Yes, all while speeding too. The worst is when he started to text, He was continually texting back and forth. Every time he puts down the phone, then you heard a buzz, he texted back. Their website says they don't accept phone calls while driving, But texting is alright???! Barely holding the steering wheel in one hand , while holding his phone and texting with the other, his eyes leaving the road for seconds at a time. This is dangerous no matter how good of a driver he thinks he is. One slip and that's it. Do that crap on your own time please, not while you're driving 7 other people. I was glad when that trip was over. Never again would I book with this bus service even if they are a bit cheaper. Just not worth it. My life is worth more than a lousy text message.

Childish Gambino announces 'The New World Tour': See full list of dates

Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover , has announced a world tour that will cover North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The North American leg of the tour, called "The New World Tour," will feature 33 dates and will begin in Oklahoma City on Aug. 11. The final stop on the leg will be in Chicago on Oct. 3.

The European leg of the tour kicks off Oct. 31 in Lyon, France and ends Dec. 5 in Dublin, Ireland, and will feature 18 stops across the continent. The Australia and New Zealand portion kicks off on Jan. 28, 2025 and wraps up on Feb. 11, 2025.

Alongside the world tour, Gambino also surprised fans with the release of " Atavista ," a new version of his 2020 album " 3.15.20 ," which includes two new tracks, titled "Atavista" and "Human Sacrifice."

The world tour announcement coincides with the surprise release of Atavista on Monday, after previously teasing that the updated album was coming . Glover announced Atavista ‘s release on social media at midnight, writing, “ATAVISTA is streaming now. This album is the finished version of ‘3.15.20’, the album i put out 4 years ago.”

In addition to announcing the LP, Glover wrote that there’s a “special vinyl” coming soon with “visuals for each song.”

The rapper also shared a video for “Little Foot, Big Foot,” his collaborative track with Young Nudy for the album.

In the video, Quinta Brunson plays a jazz club owner who advises Glover’s fictional doo-wop trio Johnny and the Pipes to not make eye contact with the front row, “as they will take it as a challenge.” The 1920s-inspired clip turns to present day for Young Nudy’s part, as the rapper sits beside a miniature set of the jazz club under a starry sky.

More than a month before Atavista ‘s release, Glover shared the tracklist for the album on an Instagram Story, introducing the names of the previously untitled songs. The record includes collaborations with Ariana Grande, 21 Savage and Summer Walker, among others.

During an Instagram Gilga Radio livestream back in April, Glover shared that the rerelease of 3.15.20 as Atavista (which was the title he originally wanted for the 2020 record) would be one of two final albums under the moniker of Childish Gambino .

The other album underway is Bando Stone & the New World , which will serve as the soundtrack for Glover’s film of the same name. Though he hasn’t given an official date for the final LP, he mentioned during the livestream and the Atavista release announcement that Bando Stone & the New World is slated to arrive this summer.

How much does a vip tour cost.

Group Tours start at $189 per person. Exact prices vary depending on the time of year and crowd levels. Do you get to skip lines during a Universal VIP tour?

Virtual Reservation System can be used through the Universal Studios Hollywood app ( Android , iOS ), available for smartphone download. Guests can book times for rides using this system. The Universal Studios Hollywood Express Pass gets you one-time priority access to WaterWorld.

Visitors with Express Passes are allowed into the venue before everyone else.

The Pass also gets you priority seating, but you must be in the Express queue at least 10 minutes before the audience enters the theatre.

After ushering you to the premium seats, the Universal Studios staff lets the regular ticket holders inside.

Amex Travel is the booking portal for most American Express cards . You can book flights, hotels, rental cars and cruises through the site, and you can pay with points, cash or a combination of the two.

How to book flights on the Amex Travel portal

To find flights on American Express Travel, visit this webpage . The flight booking process on the Amex Travel portal is similar to other popular sites like Kayak and Orbitz. You'll find a search box where you can enter your departure and destination cities.

If you're flexible with your departure airport, you can choose an entire city, such as New York, which has multiple airports. Additionally, you can customize your booking by selecting your preferred class and the number of travelers, and choosing between one-way and round-trip flights.

You'll see the price listed in dollars and the number of Amex Membership Rewards points during the booking process.

You can also use the options on the left-hand side to filter flights by number of stops, departure and arrival times, flight duration and airline.

During the payment process, you can use points, your credit card or a combination of both. The minimum number of points you can use is 5,000, and each point is valued at 1 cent.

You can upgrade your flights using cash or points in the Amex Travel portal. This generally gives you a return of 1 cent each, and you can book using your Amex card, points or a combination of both.

During your flight search, you might come across "Insider Fares" that offer a discounted price. But to benefit from the discount, you must redeem points to cover the full fare amount.

Amex Platinum and Amex Business Platinum cardmembers have another benefit: discounted premium tickets through Amex Travel's International Airline Program . This program offers discounts on first-class, business-class and premium economy tickets from over 20 participating airlines.

To book a premium ticket using the IAP, go to the Amex Travel portal and pay with cash or points, including the Business Platinum card's 35% airline rebate. Keep in mind that not all flights are eligible and there are restrictions:

• The cardmember must travel on the itinerary.
• A maximum of eight tickets can be booked per itinerary; travel must begin and end in the U.S. or Canadian international airports.
• Tickets are nonrefundable unless stated otherwise.
• Name changes for passengers are not allowed.

Finally, note that flights booked through Amex Travel are typically treated as normal paid tickets, meaning you're eligible to earn points or miles with participating airline loyalty programs.

How to book hotels on the Amex Travel portal

You can book hotels through American Express Travel with a Gold, Platinum or Centurion card. As with other travel portals, you can input your destination, dates, number of rooms and number of guests (with separate input fields for adults and children).

Platinum and Business Platinum cardmembers earn 5 points per dollar on prepaid hotel reservations.

After selecting your hotel, you'll choose your preferred room and pay with points or cash. If you pay with points, you'll only get a value of 0.7 cents per point (compared to 1 cent when you book flights).

Note that these are considered third-party bookings, so you likely won't earn hotel points or elite credits for your stay . While there are reports of people receiving stay credits with Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors on rooms booked through Amex Travel, the hotel is not guaranteed to recognize your elite status in these programs or provide status-qualifying stay credits.

Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts

Platinum and Centurion cardholders also have access to the Fine Hotels + Resorts program through Amex Travel. This can add some great benefits to your hotel stays — and may not cost much more than booking directly with the hotel.

Here are the perks you'll receive with every FHR booking, regardless of the length of your stay:

• Room upgrade upon arrival (when available): Some room types may be excluded, but you could receive an upgrade to preferred rooms with better views or a better location in the hotel.
• Daily breakfast for two people: The provided breakfast must be, at a minimum, a continental breakfast.
• Guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout
• Noon check-in when available
• Complimentary Wi-Fi
• Unique property amenity: The amenity varies by hotel but should be valued at $100 or more and usually consists of a property credit, dining credit, spa credit, private airport transfer or similar amenity.

You'll need to book these stays through Amex Travel, but note that FHR is considered a separate program from Amex Travel.

Note that The Hotel Collection bookings require a minimum stay of two nights, though they too are eligible for the $200 hotel credit on the Amex Platinum.

Reserving a car in the Amex portal is relatively simple. You'll input your pickup and drop-off times and location.

Rather than typing specific dates and numbers of passengers, you'll see four drop-down menus. These allow you to choose a destination (by region), filter by cruise lines and choose a month for travel — though not specific dates — on this first page. You can also select your desired cruise duration.

From here, you can filter by cruise duration, departure port and ship. You can sort your results by sailing date, value, price or ship rating.

On the final payment page, you can use your card or redeem points, ranging from 1 point to enough to cover the entire cost. Using points for a cruise will result in a low valuation of 0.7 cents per point, but it can be a money-saving option if you prefer not to spend cash.

There's another benefit available if you're a Platinum or Centurion cardholder (including personal and business versions of these cards): the Cruise Privileges Program .

This is available on cruises of five nights or more with select cruise lines, and it offers the following perks:

• $100-$500 in onboard ship credit (note that this cannot be used for casino or gratuity charges)
• Additional onboard amenities vary by line, such as spa vouchers, a bottle of Champagne, shore excursion credits or a private ship tour

Note that the Platinum cardmember must be one of the travelers on the cruise to enjoy these benefits.

Further things to consider about Amex Travel

When booking through the Amex Travel portal, there are a few factors to consider.

First, using Amex Membership Rewards points on Amex Travel may not provide the best value compared to transferring points to airline or hotel loyalty programs. The Pay with Points feature typically values points at 0.7 to 1 cent per point, which is far lower than our 2-cent valuation .

Additionally, the prices on Amex Travel may not always be the most competitive, so we recommend checking other platforms like Google Flights before booking your travel. Also, booking directly with hotels is advised for those seeking to utilize elite status benefits.

When you need to change your upcoming trips booked through Amex Travel, it can get complicated. You may encounter change and cancellation fees, often around $75, and making a change requires a phone call. Flight credit vouchers from cancellations can only be used for rebooking through Amex Travel via phone.

On the positive side, Amex Travel allows a 24-hour cancellation window for most reservations, and booking flights through the site generally still qualifies for earning miles and status with airline loyalty programs.

Bottom line

American Express Travel offers an array of booking options, including the ability to earn bonus Membership Rewards points on select purchases. Although you can use your points to book hotels, flights, rental cars and cruises through Amex Travel, you can get more from your points when you transfer them to Amex's airline and hotel partners .

However, there are exceptions, such as when there is no award availability for last-minute travel. In addition, Amex Travel offers perks like discounted premium flights, added benefits with Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts and a user-friendly interface. And with a simple redemption scheme that doesn't involve complicated loyalty programs and transfer partners, many Amex cardholders prefer it when planning their trips.

American Express cardholders and non-cardholders alike have access to this booking portal, but American Express cardholders can receive travel benefits like room upgrades, resort credit, and more by booking through Amex Travel.

Plus, cardholders can use Membership Rewards Points to cover all or part of their booking on Amex Travel! 

However, it's important to note that the Amex Travel portal might not be the best option for every traveler. Some drawbacks include the barrier to entry and the low points-to-dollar conversion for travel services booked on the site.

What is Amex Travel?

AMex Travel , also known as American Express Travel, is a travel booking portal that allows users to book travel, including flights, cruises, and hotel stays. It's an additional service portal that American Express Credit Card Holders get to use as part of their membership.

Cardholders can redeem American Express Membership Rewards Points directly to use on travel bookings. It is a convenient way to redeem points for travel directly in the portal rather than having to transfer points to a partner airline or hotel group. 

How does Amex Travel work?

First things first, only American Express cardholders can use the Amex Travel portal to redeem points to book travel. 

If you have an American Express branded credit card and Membership Rewards points ready to use, you're good to go. Otherwise, you'll still be able to use the site, but you won't be able to apply points to your booking or reap the benefits of certain cardholder-only programs.  

Amex Travel is simple and easy to use and has a clean interface that allows users to quickly find what they're looking for on the platform. Users can book travel directly in the Amex Travel portal by using American Express Membership Rewards Points, a credit card, or both. 

Travel services available on the Amex Travel portal include flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and vacation packages.

How can I book a trip through Amex Travel?

The ease of use and simple user interface make booking travel on Amex Travel an enjoyable, stress-free experience.

All you need to do to book a trip through Amex Travel is:

• Log into your American Express account. 
• Search for the trip type you want to book, like flights, hotels, cruises, etc.
• Apply points to your booking at check-out.
• Book the trip!

American Express Credit Cards

Depending on which American Express card or cards you have, you get access to certain perks when booking travel through the Amex Travel portal.

These are the two most popular travel-related American Express Credit Cards, which besides the Centurion no-limit invite-only card, contains the best Amex point rewards and benefits system!

American Express Gold Cardholders

The American Express Gold Card is the affordable credit card options if you're looking for great reward points for a cheaper annual fee. The Amex Gold Card's annual fee comes to $250, which includes

• Up to $120 Uber Cash (U.S.)
• Up to $120 dining credits
• Access to the Hotels Collection
• Other Insurance & general perks!

With the 3x amount of points earned on travel and 4x amount of points earned on groceries, this card is a great place to start if you're looking to build up travel reward points for your next travel getaway!

American Express Platinum Cardholders

The American Express Platinum card, Amex's flagship credit card, receives tons of travel-related credits that can then be used when booking through the Amex Travel Portal. Coming in at a $695 annual fee, it's easily to be discouraged for signing up for such an expensive credit card.

However, the travel benefits that comes with the Amex Platinum card are incredible, which includes but are not limited to:

• Up to $200 annual airline credits
• Up to $200 Uber Cash (U.S.)
• Up to $200 hotel statement credits on Fine Hotel + Resorts or The Hotel Collection bookings
• Up to $189 Clear statement credits

American Express Travel Benefit Programs

The hotel collection.

The Hotel Collection is a select American Express membership perk that allows specific cardholders to book participating hotels through Amex Travel portal to receive exclusive benefits, using cash or points.

In order to gain access to The Hotel Collection, you'll need to have access to the following Amex credit cards:

• American Express Gold Card + Business Gold
• American Express Platinum + Business Platinum
• American Express Centurion Card

Here are all of the benefits Amex card holders can receive with access to the hotels Collection Program:

• Pay-With-Points
• Exclusive deals on lower rates for hotel bookings or reservations
• Room Upgrade upon check-in when staying 2 nights or longer
• up to $100 in hotel credits, which can be used to spend on dining, spa and other eligible activities when staying 2 nights or longer
• 5x Membership reward points for Platinum cardholders, 2x membership reward points for Gold cardholders on prepaid reservations or bookings.

The Fine Hotels & Resorts Program

The Fine Hotels & Resorts program, also known as "Amex FHR" or "FHR," has a suite of benefits such as daily breakfast for two, guaranteed 4pm check-out, complimentary WiFi, and room upgrades when available. 

The Fine hotel & Resorts program is only available for American Express Platinum cardholders and above.

When booking through the Fine Hotels & Resorts program, you'll also receive a $100 experience credit for services at the spa or food and beverages at the hotel–note that this benefit varies based on the property. 

The FHR program is entirely different from the Amex Travel Portal, so points and credits aren't guaranteed in this program. Be sure to check up on whether your points count towards the FHR program with Amex Travel's representative before booking!

Cruise Privileges Program

American Express Platinum cardholders also have access to the Cruise Privileges Program in the Amex Travel portal. 

Platinum Card and Centurion Card Members can receive amenities like $100-$300 in onboard credit, as well as 2x points per dollar spent per booking when using the Amex Travel portal. These benefits are available on sailings of five nights or more and may include additional perks specific to each cruise line. 

Platinum Destinations Vacations

Platinum Destinations Vacations is another perk of using the Amex Travel portal as an American Express Platinum cardholder. Cardholders can receive up to 2x points per dollar spent on a qualifying independent or escorted vacation package through Amex Travel. 

Additional Amex Travel Benefits

Another key benefit of booking travel through the Amex Travel portal is that users can receive additional points on bookings when using their American Express credit card. 

American Express Platinum cardholders can earn 5x points on flights and prepaid hotels, and American Express® Gold cardholders can earn 3x points on flights. American Express® Green cardholders can earn 3x points on all travel. If you're looking to rack up more American Express Member Rewards points, this is a quick way to do so.

Is Amex Travel worth it?

Amex Travel is an easy-to-use, convenient travel booking portal, but it might not be a good option for travelers looking to get the best value for their American Express Membership Rewards points. 

While always changing, the points-to-dollar conversion rate has historically yielded less value than transferring points to partner programs like Delta or Marriott. This is worth noting because better value often means you'll get more out of the points you accrue.  

Further, you aren't guaranteed to earn loyalty points with outside partners since Amex Travel is a third-party booking service. 

For travelers looking to enhance their loyalty status, booking directly with the hotel group might make more sense. For airline miles, you might still be able to earn loyalty points or miles with the airline when booking through Amex Travel. 

Be sure to check with the airline before booking if you aim to receive miles for your flight. Note that basic economy fares, whether found on Amex Travel or another website, are sometimes not eligible for earning miles or enhancing your loyalty status. 

Something important to note is that a fee is added using the service, which is built into the cost of a ticket. This fee is unavoidable and can be higher if you call to book as opposed to using the online booking platform. The fees are waived if you have the Platinum Card, Business Platinum Card, or the Centurion Card.

For travelers considering convenience as their main priority in the booking process, Amex Travel makes it easier than ever to book a trip. 

Overall, Amex Travel is worth checking during the booking process to compare prices and points conversions on flights or hotels you might be interested in. 

However, for the budget traveler or the points-and-miles traveler, Amex Travel might not be worth it to use while booking your next vacation because of the low redemption value of American Express Membership Rewards points in the portal. 

If you're an American Express cardholder and want to earn more Membership Rewards points when booking travel, Amex Travel is a great option. If you do not have any American Express credit cards, there is no real advantage to using Amex Travel compared to any other third-party booking service.

Taylor Swift Adds ‘Female Rage: The Musical’ to Eras Tour, Featuring ‘Tortured Poets Department’ Songs

It’s unknown whether this might be the beginning of an actual musical — or a new version of her concert film

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour picked back up in Paris on May 9, her first show since the release last month of her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” The singer has added new songs to the mix, but in a significantly more epic way than many expected heading into this leg of the Eras Tour — in a portion of the show that she’s referred to as “Female Rage: The Musical.”

“This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made these memories so magical,” Swift wrote on social media Sunday. “To my crew, fellow performers, and band who worked tirelessly in their break to concoct this surprise for you — but mostly for the fans in Paris.”

“I’m so thankful that it was you we got to show this to for the first time because you gave us so much excitement, passion, and love. I’m SO fired up to play this for every crowd on the tour. See you very soon, Stockholm!” Swift concluded.

The moniker is a playful explanation of the new songs Swift added, many of which express dismay and anger about a failed relationship. She’s presented the new songs in a new highly theatrical portion of her set, complete with new choreography, costumes and complex graphics packages.

Fans have speculated that much of “The Tortured Poets Department” is about Matty Healy, the British lead singer of the 1975 that Swift dated for a short two months.

Photos shared by Swift show everything from a UFO to some tuxed-up background dancers getting involved. She has added seven new songs to the concert line-up, including “So High School” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

Fans have speculated on Reddit that the addition of the new songs could be the precursor to a musical adaptation of some kind. It’s also a change that leaves her “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” concert film feeling like it’s missing a little something, so we’ll have to wait to see whether that movie gets a version with a new addendum. Adding new songs forced Swift to cut a few fan favorites, which included “The Archer,” “Long Live” and “The Last Great American Dynasty.”

The first leg of the tour became the first to ever cross the $1 billion mark in terms of revenue, pulling in a gross of $1,039,263,762. (We don’t know how many cents change it may have made in addition.) Swift broke the record previously set by Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, with Swift topping the piano legend in a frenetic eight months (John’s tour began Sept. 8, 2018, and ended July 8, 2023).

Avoid this company

Avoid this company, especially if punctuality is crucial for catching a flight or similar. Not only our trip was delayed by 1 hour but they charged us twice and refused a refund when we realized this a couple of days later, making it a total scam for us! I really liked my experience with TourExpress. Fast and efficient. The driver (Fathi Madwi) from Montreal to Ottawa/Gatineau was really nice. I had booked my trip on busbud so it was my first time. I did not read the adresse carefully. But fortunatly they call you close to departure time so I was able to catch the van.

DANGEROUS DRIVER - HE TEXTS AND DRIVES

Unsafe and dangerous driving. I would never recommend this shuttle bus service to anyone. Yes they are polite but who cares when your life is at risk. The 2nd time I got this driver, so this is not some random event. He speeds, tail-gates, and most dangerously he texts while driving. He finds everything to do under the sun while driving: opening candy wrapper, even opening bottle of water, Yes, all while speeding too. The worst is when he started to text, He was continually texting back and forth. Every time he puts down the phone, then you heard a buzz, he texted back. Their website says they don't accept phone calls while driving, But texting is alright???! Barely holding the steering wheel in one hand , while holding his phone and texting with the other, his eyes leaving the road for seconds at a time. This is dangerous no matter how good of a driver he thinks he is. One slip and that's it. Do that crap on your own time please, not while you're driving 7 other people. I was glad when that trip was over. Never again would I book with this bus service even if they are a bit cheaper. Just not worth it. My life is worth more than a lousy text message.
