Exactly How to Get to Disneyland Paris from London (+ cheap options)

Disneyland Paris, which was once known as EuroDisney, is Disney’s Europe theme park which has two parks and a downtown/shopping and entertainment area.

If you’re wondering how to get to Disneyland Paris from London, chances are your main trip is to the UK and you’re adding on a journey to Disneyland Paris as an extra.

As someone who has been to both Disney World and Disneyland Paris, I highly recommend checking out Disneyland Paris at Christmas for a very magical experience.

It’s different than either of the US parks, but Disneyland Park, its “Magic Kingdom” is very beautiful and worth a visit.

One thing to note is that Disneyland Paris isn’t actually in Paris – it’s outside of it.

This is important when it comes down to figuring out the best way to get to Disneyland Paris from London.

Disneyland Paris castle

Expert tip for all types of public transportation within Europe: the best way to figure out your best options is to click here to use Omio (free), where it’ll show you the prices, options (including buses, trains, taxis, ferries, and even flights) and help you compare the cheapest and fastest routes.

Distance from London to Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris is just over 300 miles away from London.

It’s far enough away that it doesn’t usually make sense to take a day trip to Disneyland Paris from London, but if you’re really dedicated, it’s possible!

How to Get to Disneyland Paris from London by Public Transportation

If you’re a visitor to Europe or a study abroad student in Europe , chances are you’ll be wanting to take public transportation from London to Disneyland Paris.

You won’t want to have to deal with driving in two different countries with two different road rules and requirements for driving as a foreigner, and it’s much faster to go by public transportation.

However, if you do want to know how to drive from London to Disneyland Paris, that information is at the bottom of the article.

How to Get to Disneyland Paris by Train

The most popular way for people to get from London to Disneyland Paris is by train.

You’ve got a few options in how you can make this happen depending on your budget, travel experience, and the availability.

How to get to London to Disneyland Paris by train on a map

Direct Train from London to Disneyland Paris

There is a direct train that leaves London St. Pancras Station and will take you all the way to Disneyland Paris, the station being Marne-le-Vallee (Chessy) or Parc Disneyland.

This is run by Eurostar during the summer and kid’s breaks during the school year during certain days of the week.

It tends to be more expensive than the indirect train and can cost anywhere from £70 to £100+ each way depending on when you purchase it.

You will also have less flexibility in timings with this train, as it doesn’t have the same options as the indirect train.

Eurostar London to Disneyland Paris train in St Pancras station

Indirect Train from London to Disneyland Paris

The second option is the indirect train.

You can book it as one journey through the Eurostar website, but basically it will have you traveling to somewhere like Lille Station, changing trains, and then carrying on to Disneyland Paris.

This is a cheaper option with a lot more route availability, which is what I recommend for families traveling to Disneyland Paris from London.

You don’t go through Paris and don’t have to deal with the hassle of getting from Paris to Disneyland Paris.

If you don’t have the option to take an indirect Eurostar, you can also take the direct Eurostar from London to Paris Gare du Nord which takes about 2 hours.

Entrance sign to Disneyland Paris

From there, you need to either take the Paris Metro or take a taxi to Paris Gare de Lyon station, where you can then take the “RER” from there to Disneyland Paris.

The second part of this journey takes about 40 minutes, not including the transfer.

You can buy RER tickets at the kiosks when you get to Gare de Lyon.

This tends to work out for some people on a budget as the tickets from London to Paris can be incredibly cheap if you buy far enough in advance, and the RER only costs a few euros per person.

Getting to Disneyland Paris from London by Bus

If you’re up for an 8 to 10 hour bus ride, it is possible to take the bus from London to Disneyland Paris.

You can do this either by using a company like Magic Breaks who do “coach holidays” to Disneyland Paris, so you book through them and they provide the bus that takes you directly to Disneyland from stops in London.

Alternately, you can use a service like FlixBus or BlaBlaBus (I recommend booking through Omio ), which will take you from London to Paris, and then you will need to change buses in Paris central to get on to Disneyland Paris (or book the bus from London to Paris and then take the RER to Disneyland Paris from Paris as I’ve talked about in the train section).

Disneyland Hotel with blue sky

A bus will usually be the cheapest option to get to Disneyland Paris from London.

Some Flixbuses, for example, come in at about £20 each way per person.

However, this is not my recommended way of travel and you’ll be cramped on a bus for quite a few hours as well as losing precious time traveling on it.

I also find bus companies to be less reliable than train companies in providing the services and have heard stories of people being stranded when their bus never turned up.

Flying from London to Disneyland Paris

Many families fly from London to Disneyland Paris each year.

Of course Disneyland Paris doesn’t have its own airport, so you need to fly from London to Charles de Gaulle, the main airport in Paris.

The flight takes just over an hour, and you can get round trip tickets for starting from around £50 depending on the season.

To find the cheapest deals on flights in Europe , I prefer to use Skyscanner .

Now, the things to factor in are the fact that you will need to get to whichever London airport your flight goes from, and if that’s somewhere like London Stansted, it’s not actually close to London.

Then, you’ll need to get to the airport 2 hours early for your flight.

And then once you land in Paris, you’ll need to go through immigration, wait for your luggage if you have any, and carry on from Charles de Gaulle airport to Disneyland Paris.

How to Get from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris

To get from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Disneyland Paris, you can take a shuttle bus through a company like Magical Breaks or you can take the TGV which will get you there.

You’ll first need to find the TGV Station in Terminal 2 to purchase your tickets to Disneyland Paris.

It costs about 20 euros per person and takes 12 minutes, though of course you’ll need to factor in the time of waiting for the next train.

How to Drive from London to Disneyland Paris

People also drive from London to Disneyland Paris every year, which takes about 6-8 hours.

If you don’t have a car in the UK, you’ll want to rent one using Discover Cars for the best comparison prices.

To get across the English Channel, you’ll need to book onto the EuroTunnel.

You’ll drive your car into the train on the tunnel, it will zoom you across the channel once all of the other cars on that booking are loaded, and then you’ll drive out and be in France!

Remember that the French drive on the right side of the road while the English drive on the left, and be sure to have all of the items you need in your car in order to be qualified to drive in France.

Everything you need to know about driving to Disneyland Paris

travelling to disneyland paris from uk

Everything you need to know about driving to Disneyland Paris – One of the most common subjects I get asked is about travelling to Disneyland Paris. Well, more specifically driving there. Your travel options to DLP basically comprise of driving and using the Eurotunnel, flying ( and hiring a car), or taking the Eurostar. Read here to see the differences between the Eurostar and the Eurotunnel . Our choice has always been to drive, even when we were living in Yorkshire and had the 5 hour drive to the port before we started. There are many reasons why its better than flying, particularly with small children.

So, lets check out Everything you need to know about driving to Disneyland Paris….

Driving to Disneyland

Many families who have not yet tried the drive from Calais to Paris are anxious about it. So, I thought I would write a piece to put minds at rest about and hopefully give confidence to those considering it. Here we have everything you need to know about driving to Disneyland Paris. ,

Why drive to Disneyland Paris?

drive to disneyland

Everything you need to know about driving to Disneyland Paris…. We love to drive to Disneyland Paris. Firstly, you can load your car with all you can possibly need, without worrying about baggage allowances etc. As any parent knows, this is a god send with kids, as they don’t travel light and the more of their own stuff they have around them the happier they are. Our accommodation preference when we are at Disneyland Paris is the Davy Crockett ranch, for our reasons and review on Davy Crockett, click here . There are no shuttles to and from Davy Crockett to the Disney parks, so a car is essential.

If you happen to already be in Paris and want to hire a car to use to get the family to Disneyland then Discover Cars is an excellent search and comparison option . At Discover Cars you can search an extensive range of car hire options in Paris and indeed across the globe, ensuring you find the perfect thing for you.

drive to disneyland

We love driving on the French roads and being able to take in the scenery without feeling rushed and harassed, as you can do when you are worrying about flight times and train departures. You can do everything in your own time, there are plenty of very nice, well equipped service stations along the route to cater for the many toilet stops and declarations of hunger from the back seats.

travelling to disneyland paris from uk

Driving to Disneyland Paris usually works out considerably cheaper than flying or booking the Eurostar.

We also really enjoy being able to detour to incorporate our grocery shop, before we arrive at Disneyland Paris. French supermarkets are fantastic. They are usually large, with masses of choice and very different sights and smells to British ones. Its also a great way for us to practice our French, but don’t worry if speaking French doesn’t interest you, almost all French people have at the very least, a basic English, so any supermarket transactions are usually very smooth. The kids absolutely love taking in all the different sights and smells, its a different, fun and educational early layer to your family holiday to Disneyland.

The Eurotunnel

We almost always choose to go with Eurotunnel when navigating from Dover to Calais. It is fast ( 30 minutes!), easy and fun for the kids.

When booking your train slot online the system will ask for your vehicle registration so that on arrival at the terminals the computers can use their registration recognition technology to speed up check in. You don’t have to enter a vehicle reg if you don’t know which car you will be travelling in.

If you have provided your vehicle reg then arrival at the train terminal is usually very smooth. During peak times there can be holds ups and I would certainly advise getting there in plenty of time. I usually allow an hour, which, as my husband always tells me, is over cautious.

When the computer system recognises you, it confirms the time of your train, and prints out a hanging ticket for you to hang on your interior mirror. On it is a large letter which relates to what time train you are boarding. As you drive on, you follow the lane which is displaying your letter. You will usually queue in lane for a while. At this point there are toilets reasonably nearby and drinks machines, although I’m always really nervous about going in case my lane starts to move without me!

Boarding the Eurotunnel

When its time for you to board, traffic officers will direct you down to and onto your train. They will direct you right up to your parking spot and then instruct you to apply your handbrake and/or place the car in park.

Its a simple process, usually very well organised and well signposted, so its clear where you are going and what you are doing at all times.

Travelling on the Eurotunnel

The journey itself is short ( around 30 minutes ), smooth and relaxing. There are toilets on board, usually one at either end of the train, so if you’re in the middle it can be a bit of a walk! There are no refreshments available on board. You can get out and stretch your legs, have a picnic, play a game. Before you know it you’re in France.

Can pets travel on the Eurotunnel?

Pets can travel with you on the Eurotunnel. For more information on travelling with your pets click here .

Driving from Calais to Disneyland

The most important thing to remember is to, of course, drive on the right! It’s not nearly as daunting as it may seem the first time you do it. You adjust very quickly. The French motorways really are a pleasure to drive on in comparison to British ones. They are smooth, quiet and stress free.

Directions from Calais to Disneyland Paris

The route to Disneyland Paris is straightforward.  On leaving the train terminal you follow signs for the A26 to Arras/Paris and then the A1 heading South toward Paris. Take exit 6 after Charles de Gaulle airport, onto the A104 which then takes you across to meet the A4, where you simply head North/East for Disneyland Paris.

Are there tolls on the journey from Calais to Disneyland Paris?

There will be motorway tolls to pay (look for the Péage signs). Head for the CB booth as it’s for credit/debit cards and is much easier and quicker than looking around for coins.

Check out the local roads website for up to date toll charges but in January 2023 the charge was approximatley 23 euros.

Disneyland Paris gives sneak peek at brand new Frozen land and attraction

Disneyland Paris is giving its Walt Disney Studios Park a huge overhaul and transforming it with a new Frozen land, new rides, attractions and plenty more

Concept art for the new World of Frozen land in Disneyland Paris

  • 15:51, 15 Apr 2024

Disneyland Paris is about to get a major overhaul, as it transforms its Walt Disney Studios Park complete with a brand new Frozen-themed land.

Mickey Mouse 's French home is divided into two parks; Disneyland (with the Sleeping Beauty Castle), and Walt Disney Studios Park (with the Marvel Avengers campus and a Toy Story Playland).

The latter opened in 2002 and is currently undergoing a complete makeover, at the end of which it will have roughly doubled its footprint. That includes becoming the home to the World of Frozen, a themed land inspired by the blockbuster film, and allowing Disney fans to immerse themselves into the kingdom of Arandelle with the likes of Anna, Elsa and Olaf.

Although Disney is remaining tight-lipped about exactly what will be on offer, it has revealed a sneak peek for fans in the new concept imagery for the land, from the exterior of the ice palace and surrounding kingdom, to concept imagery for an indoor attraction.

The resort promises that "World of Frozen will bring guests on a journey to the kingdom of Arendelle with its colourful facades and remarkable North Mountain". Currently only Hong Kong Disneyland has its own Frozen themed world, but you can also enjoy a Frozen ride in Walt Disney World's Epcot, in Florida.

But it's not just the new Frozen land that's sure to get visitors excited. As part of the transformation there will be a host of new attractions, restaurants and gardens for families to enjoy, including a Tangled-theme 'Raiponce Tangled Spin' attraction for families.

Meanwhile 'Adventure Bay' will offer a "unique entertainment stage", where families can expect "exciting water-based entertainment, complete with fountains, music, lights and special effects", while a second entrance to the theme park will be inspired by Hollywood. Oh and that's not all - Disney has said there will be another "brand-new immersive world, whose concept and design are currently being finalised by Imagineers" although it's yet to give any hint as to what that might look like!

If you're thinking of finally taking the kids to see Mickey and friends, the good news is that there are plenty of deals and packages to help you stretch your budget that little bit further. The Walt Disney Travel Co offers a host of packages including tickets, transport and stays at on-site Disney hotels, and you can check out special rates and ticket deals on the Disneyland Paris website too.

Meanwhile MagicBreaks offers the likes of low deposits from £25 per person , as well as packages including transport from £229 per person . Their useful deal finder can also help you see which seasons tend to be busiest - if you can be flexible with dates, this can be handy as you can aim to travel outside of peak season and hopefully snap up some cheaper stays.

Disneyland Paris to transform second park into new Disney Adventure World

Tarah Chieffi

Disneyland Paris is marking its 32nd anniversary with a major transformation of its second park, Walt Disney Studios Park.

travelling to disneyland paris from uk

Walt Disney Studios Park originally opened in 2002 as a park that gave guests a behind-the-scenes look at movie-making magic. In recent years, however, Disney has leaned into more immersive lands and experiences that transport guests into their favorite Disney stories. Walt Disney Studios Park's transformation will reflect that vision with a new name, new attractions, new shows and more.

travelling to disneyland paris from uk

Soon, Walt Disney Studios Park will become Disney Adventure World. The rebranded park will open alongside its newest land, World of Frozen. Like its counterpart at Hong Kong Disneyland , World of Frozen will transport guests to the Kingdom of Arendelle.

World of Frozen will border the all-new Adventure Bay — a majestic body of water that will act as a gateway to the park's new themed lands that will surround it. Adventure Bay will also serve as an entertainment stage with 360-degree viewing, so everyone can have a front-row seat for new water-based shows with fountains, music, lights, special effects and more.

Though Disney revealed World of Frozen will be one of the lands Adventure Bay leads to, the theme for a second immersive world has yet to be announced. Disney has only shared that the concept and design of the land are currently being finalized. The two new lands will join Marvel Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar, roughly doubling the park's footprint.

As part of the revamp, Disney Adventure World will also get a new entrance in the spring of 2025, dropping guests into an open-air movie studio the moment they enter the park. Dubbed World Premiere, the reimagined entrance will incorporate decor that pays homage to Hollywood 's historic movie theaters.

As guests continue into the park, they will encounter World Premiere Plaza, with theaters celebrating Disney Animation and Pixar stories. This area will lead to Adventure Way, a landscaped promenade that leads to the park's other lands.

The area will also feature a new attraction of its own called Raiponce Tangled Spin. Based on the film "Tangled," this new take on a classic spinning ride will take guests through the movie's iconic floating lantern scene.

The new Regal View Restaurant and Lounge will also be in this region, with views of Adventure Bay. Guests can also meet their favorite Disney princesses at this table-service restaurant.

travelling to disneyland paris from uk

These new lands and attractions won't be the only additions to Disneyland Paris as part of this transformation.

Disneyland Paris' second park will debut a new stage show called "Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland" this spring; there's also a show coming to Marvel Avengers Campus running between the end of 2024 and the spring of 2025. The Disney Village shopping, dining and entertainment complex and the Disney Davy Crockett Ranch bungalows will be undergoing major refurbishments.

These projects fulfill Disney's promise to accelerate and expand investment in its theme parks, cruise line and other vacation experiences over the next 10 years. Earlier this year, Disneyland Paris saw the reopening of its iconic Disneyland Hotel after extensive renovations.

A specific opening date for Disney Adventure World will be released at a later date.

Disney Announces Complete Transformation of Its Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris

Introducing Disney Adventure World.

travelling to disneyland paris from uk

Courtesy of Disneyland Paris

On its 32nd anniversary, the Disneyland Paris Resort announced a complete reimagining of its Walt Disney Studios Park. The Hollywood-inspired park, which first opened in 2002 and is opposite the main Disneyland Paris park, will undergo a magical makeover and be renamed to Disney Adventure World, the park shared with Travel + Leisure on Friday.

The reimagined park will allow “guests to step into their favorite stories in a uniquely Disney way” and is part of an overall two-billion-euro destination-wide investment which includes new attractions, the ongoing transformation of its on-site hotels, and a reimagining of its entertainment, shopping, and dining district, Disney Village.

“Today, we are changing the story of Walt Disney Studios Park, evolving from ‘how it’s done’ soundstages to celebratory theaters and adventures that come to life in immersive worlds,” Tom Fitzgerald, Walt Disney Imagineering Chief Storytelling Executive and Senior Creative Executive for Disneyland Paris, shared in the press release. “These fully realized adventure worlds will become the focus of the park’s new identity and appear as realms that guests discover as they navigate deeper within the park and are invited to participate in adventures inspired by our most beloved stories.”

Transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney World Adventure will begin this month at its entrance. Park goers will soon encounter a “vibrant, contemporary open-air movie studio before becoming special guests of a glamorous film premiere in the heart of Hollywood on a starry night.” The former entrance, a colorful indoor replica soundstage, will be reimagined, paying homage to historic Hollywood movie theaters, and is set for reopening in Spring 2025.

This “all-new visual identity” will occur in tandem with the opening of Paris' very own World of Frozen — a brand-new immersive land inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen — which has opened in Hong Kong . The land will be situated on the edge of Adventure Bay, a new multi-use 70,000 cubic meter body of water, which will be utilized as a “unique entertainment stage with 360-degree viewing area” and will be complete with a walkable promenade — Adventure Way — to lands throughout the park.

The transformation will also welcome Raiponce Tangled Spin, all-new family attraction inspired by the beloved Disney Animation movie Tangled.

These new guest areas and Frozen -themed land will join the park’s Avengers Campus, which opened in 2022, and Worlds of Pixar, home to fan favorite attraction Ratatouille: The Adventure. According to the release, the completion of this transformation will see the park roughly doubling its footprint, evolving from a half-day park to full-day experience.

The park’s evolution was only natural as it moved towards welcoming guests into “more immersive worlds,” beginning with the 2007 debut of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. “With an unprecedented level of immersion and powerful storytelling, the latest experiences delivered across the park already reflect this new creative vision,” the release states.

“Embracing a transformation that involves the overhaul of more than 90 percent of Walt Disney Studios Park since its debut in 2002, we're unveiling a fresh creative vision that has completely redefined our second gate,” shared Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris. “This significant evolution inspired us to rename the Park, heralding a vibrant new chapter for Disneyland Paris. With our commitment to pushing the boundaries of immersion and innovation, we're crafting breathtaking new experiences and spectacular moments at Disney Adventure World that will resonate more than ever with our guests. It’s set to offer unique adventures in immersive worlds, serving as a perfect complement to Disneyland Park.” No opening date has been announced for the Frozen -themed land or for the completion of the theme park transformation.

The announcement also shared the addition of two new park shows. Inspired by Disney Animation’s Alice in Wonderland , Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland, is an all-new musical set to debut May 25. The end of the year will welcome a brand-new nighttime activation to Avengers Campus that will “combine projections, music and special effects with an all- new storyline, featuring some favorite and new-to-Disneyland Paris Marvel characters.”

This exciting period of unprecedented growth for the resort includes the recent renovation of its flagship accommodations, Disneyland Hotel. The resort’s entertainment district, Disney Village, is also undergoing a complete overhaul that includes the addition of new retail and dining locations, enhanced landscaping, and reimagined facades with a notably more modern look. Another hotel refurbishment project is expected to begin this year at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch that will ultimately provide “a modern and comfortable experience for guests” and see the addition of Disney characters to its décor.

Universal Asking Locals About a Brand New Theme Park!

Universal surverys locals about new UK theme park

Back in December, Universal shocked and excited guests when it was revealed that the theme park giant had purchased land in the United Kingdom . It was reported that Universal had purchased 500 acres of land in an area called Bedford, which is about 45 minutes north of London, England. Comcast — which is the parent company of Universal — also purchased the domain names UniversalStudiosGreatBritain.com and UniversalGreatBritain.com at the same time.

Universal has said that a theme park in the area is not guaranteed. They released a statement saying that are simply exploring their options when it comes to a potential UK theme park.

A spokesperson from Universal Destinations & Experiences told the Bedford Independent, “We recently acquired land in Bedford [Borough] and are at the early stages of exploring its feasibility for a potential park and resort at this site. “It will be many months before we are ready to make a decision to proceed and we look forward to engaging with all relevant stakeholders and the local community.” They said that no creative content of the park has yet been determined and stressed that “we are still very early in planning this potential project.”

It has been several months since the purchase and now, Universal is asking the residents of Bedford to weigh in on how they would feel about having a theme park built in the area.

According to a report from KTLA :

While the project remains just an idea at this time, Universal is now asking for the public to chime in with their opinions on how a potential park might affect their lives and how the company could best honor and celebrate the region in a respectful manner. “We have started a public engagement period on our potential theme park and resort experience in Bedford,” a Universal Destinations & Experiences spokesperson told Nexstar. “This represents the next step in our ongoing due diligence and feasibility work and is an opportunity for us to share early thinking on our plans and secure feedback.”

Should Universal decide to actually build a theme park in Bedford, it would be larger than the 500 acres purchased last year. It would be closer to 700 acres, because there is another parcel of land available for Universal to purchase.

NBC/Universal has confirmed that the land purchased would make a great spot for a new theme park. The land is flat, and the location is just a train ride away from London and everything the city has to offer. A new railway project is also underway that would allow travelers to access the potential theme park from Oxford and Cambridge.

Should this new Universal Resort actually happen, it would be the largest theme park in the United Kingdom. It would also be a big plus in Universal’s competition with Disney. The theme park giant is currently building its third theme park in Orlando , and is considering ways to expand its theme park in Los Angeles, California.

Disney is still at the top of the theme park pyramid, but Universal is working increasingly hard to make its theme parks some of the top vacation destinations in the world.

Would you love to see Universal build a theme park in the United Kingdom? Let us know in the comments!

Disneyland Paris has announced that its second gate, Walt Disney Studios Park, will undergo a multi-year transformation to breathe new life into the theme park . Along with the expanded offerings at the park, which will almost double the existing footprint of the park, Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World.

The €2 billion investment will include a previously announced Frozen-themed land, dubbed World of Frozen. If the name sounds familiar, that’s because a land of the same title recently opened at Hong Kong Disneyland in China. Disney Adventure World and World of Frozen will debut simultaneously.

“Today, we are changing the story of Walt Disney Studios Park, evolving from ‘how it’s done’ soundstages to celebratory theaters and adventures that come to life in immersive worlds. These fully realized adventure worlds will become the focus of the park’s new identity and appear as realms that guests discover as they navigate deeper within the park and are invited to participate in adventures inspired by our most beloved stories,” Tom Fitzgerald, Walt Disney Imagineering Chief Storytelling Executive and Senior Creative Executive for Disneyland Paris said in a press release.

When World of Frozen opens it will be located on the edge of Adventure Bay, a 70,000 cubic meter body of water. This will be the center point of the new expansion for the park and will serve as the central hub to the new lands and experiences that are being planned. According to Disney, Adventure Bay will also double as an entertainment stage that will showcase water-based entertainment that combines fountains, music, lights, and special effects.

Starting this month, the park’s entry plaza will be getting in on the transformation too. The entrance building will go from highlighting a filming scene on Hollywood Boulevard to a space that harkens back to the historic movie theaters in Hollywood. The entrance building will be renamed World Premiere and will open in Spring 2025.

Just outside of World Premiere will be World Premiere Plaza. The new theme will bring together facades from Broadway and West End theaters. The plaza will lead to Adventure Way, where a new family-friendly attraction will be constructed. The new ride will be called Raiponce Tangled Spin (or Rapunzel Tangled Spin in English) and is themed after the animated movie Tangled. Also along Adventure Way, theme park fans can to dine at a new restaurant called The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge. The table-service restaurant will include character meet and greets with the Disney Princesses.

“With our commitment to pushing the boundaries of immersion and innovation, we're crafting breathtaking new experiences and spectacular moments at Disney Adventure World that will resonate more than ever with our guests. It’s set to offer unique adventures in immersive worlds, serving as a perfect complement to Disneyland Park,” said Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris in a release.

This is Just the Beginning of Investments for Disney

(Disney)

In September 2023, Disney announced it would be investing around $60 billion over the next 10 years in its Experiences segment. The investment is going towards “ expanding and enhancing domestic and international parks and cruise line capacity.”

According to Disney, there are over 1,000 acres of land that the company can use for possible development to expand the current footprint of existing theme parks.

“Throughout our history, we’ve created enormous growth by investing the right amount of capital into the right projects at the right moment,” said Bob Iger , Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, in a statement. “We are planning to turbocharge our growth yet again with a robust amount of strategic investment in this business.”

In 2024 and into 2025, Disney has already announced the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort, the completion of the renovation of EPCOT, the opening of Fantasy Springs at Tokyo Disneyland Resort, and more at its theme parks. Additionally, three new cruise ships are set to debut and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will start welcoming cruisers this June.
