The Adidas Tour360 22 golf shoe is an athletic shoe with stability, padding for comfortability, and recycled waterproof materials to keep feet dry.

Introduction

The Adidas Tour360 has been Adidas’s marquee golf shoe for years.  Highlights for the 2022 model includes an improved traction system for better stability, interior padding that molds to your foot over time, and recycled materials for those looking to better the environment.  Two-time major winner Dustin Johnson has worn the Adidas Tour360’s exclusively since their inception.  Why?  By the end of this review, you should have the answer.

Check out the BOA version of the Tour360 22 HERE

First thing that popped out when I opened the box was the color scheme.  Although mostly white, the blue and orange really pops and adds a subtle touch of flare.   The Tour360 22 comes in five different colorways if this type of flare isn’t quite your cup of tea.

Colors aside, the entire outer layer of the shoe is made of leather and other waterproof materials that can be easily cleaned to keep them looking new for an extended period of time.

New for 2022, the spikes on the bottom are noticeably wider but not replaceable as seen in previous models.  The heel and sole are comprised of the foam material which we have seen before.

The Adidas Tour360 22 golf shoes were more comfortable than I had anticipated .  The foam insert molded to my foot shape and got more comfortable with time.  The built-in sock liner also provided padding for comfort, but moreso helped solidify my foot inside the shoe .  This kept me from feeling like my foot would slide and move too much inside.

The mid-top height around the ankle contributed to the overall stability but could potentially be a recipe for blisters.   Using the right sock height was key and should be considered by anyone taking these out for the first time.

Moving on to fit, the inner sock lining makes it a bit more snug at first, so if you’re in between sizes, go with the bigger size .  I usually am between a 9.5 and 10 on most shoes and the size 10 worked perfectly.

Performance

When I initially put these on, I immediately noticed the wide base.  The width made me feel well connected to the ground , almost cemented into the turf beneath me.  I had plenty of confidence to make an aggressive swing in any condition.

Speaking of conditions, the Adidas Tour360 22’s leather materials are totally waterproof as proven with the kitchen faucet test.  Not only did these stay dry inside but the partially recycled materials made it easy to keep clean.  Just wipe any dirt or debris right off with a damp cloth, and they’ll look brand new.

As I started wearing these, I noticed the foam heel cushioning will get you up a little higher off the ground.  For me, any golf shoe with some lift to it makes me feel like I can get a slightly better swing on the ball.  It’s not necessarily a good thing for everyone but something to note before purchasing.

These are certainly among some of the most comfortable fully spiked golf shoes I have ever tested .  With spring coming and soggy rounds inevitable, these will be perfect for keeping my feet dry and stable.  At $210 a pair , not only are you contributing to a shoe with a reduction in environmental impact, but the recycled materials will help extend the life of your shoes by keeping them clean and fresh for every round.

The Adidas Tour360 has the looks of an athletic shoe but it carries a ton of performance tricks up its sleeve.  The wide spikes allow for traction with an ergonomic foam sole that forms to your foot.  If you crave more stability and support in your shoe without losing the comfort much like 2-time major winner Dustin Johnson, check out the Adidas Tour360 22.

I have worn Tour 360s forever and have 2 pairs in my current rotation. Always found them, and other Adidas golf shoes, to be the best fitting for me and very comfortable and stable. I’m not sure about these however. I want spiked or spikeless not some hybrid where if you happen to walk on pavement for any length of time (coming across the parking lot to the tee, etc.) the spikes are likely to wear out more quickly. At $210 per pair that may be too high a price to pay for shoes that may not last over time and far more expensive than previous models too. I’ll wait and see on these to see how they last for people.

' src=

They really need to bring back the adipower line. A spiked shoe with boost that doesn’t cost 200 bucks is necessary. The codechaos line that replaced it is super ugly and doesn’t have a spiked option.

' src=

Are the spikes replaceable?

' src=

No they are not.

' src=

Not sure who would want to pay $200 for golf shoes and not be able to replace the spikes. I have had many pairs where the spikes were replaced three or more times in their lifetime. Additionally I will never return to the days where new shoes could cause blisters. With the wide array of shoe choices I can’t understand who would take a chance on these.

' src=

Tried these recently but wound up returning them. I will say, stability-wise, they’re pretty exceptional. But for the wide foot gang, these are perhaps Adidas’ least friendly release in recent memory. The materials are just too rigid to make these work if you’re a wide-footer, compared to, say, the Solarthons or ZG21s. I’m hoping they eventually start to offer these in wide sizes.

' src=

Love my Black 360 22’s. Comfort, stability, quality, style, it’s all there. My feet usually get tired after 18 but not with these. The Boost foam is amazing. Also these don’t cause blisters. 3 stripes for life!

' src=

Agree with previous comment. Not being able to replace spikes is seen as a money grabbing exercise by Adidas who want us to fork out for new shoes. Shame.

' src=

These shoes are terrific. Broke them out for the first time walking bethpage…probably not the smartest move. No blisters, no issues. The spikes/durability concerns are fair…but only time will tell there.

' src=

My wife came home and surprised me with the black and white tour 360s last night. I played 18 this morning and big difference in stability and comfort than anything I’ve worn before including my Nike’s. The spikes are big and placed axactly where your feet should be on address. Wear them and youll know what i mean. This is the best shoe out there. They’re expensive and the spikes aren’t replaceable but this is a quality shoe that benefits performance. Just buy a new pair when they wear out. Spike life could be 1 year could be 5 years depending on use and care.

' src=

Just purchase the tour 360 22 they have great stability but after three holes had a blister on left heal by the time I got to the 9th hole had to remove these for now both heals are blisterd can’t see these as a walking shoe I play 18 holes 5 days a week very disappointed for my first pair of Addias golf shoe purchased from sport chek

' src=

Adidas says you should get 200 rounds before the spikes wear out. I play 4 rounds a week so they might last 1 year??? My previous tour 360 shoes lasted me 3 years before replacing so I will be sending this new pair back pair back. Also, THERE IS NO MENTION OF NON REMOVABLE SPIKES ON THE WEB SITE WHERE I PURCHASED THE SHOES (PGA SUPERSTORE)!

' src=

Hope I didn’t make a mistake by getting these non replaceable spikes. It didn’t even dawn on me that they were not replaceable till I had already bought them otherwise I may have rethunk it. I’ve worn Tour 360 since they first came out for the exceptional stability they provide over most other brands and have been very happy with the functionality of the 360 concept. As mentioned only time will tell on the longevity of the spikes….fingers crossed.

If i knew that you couldn’t replace worn cleats on this shoe i wouldn’t have bought them. The cleats are worn already.

When I first started wearing these they tore both heels off of me, decided to leave them be for a while to allow my heels recover but every time since then it’s the same thing. End up having to take them off after 8 or 9 holes. I have found that the insole is to high resulting in my heel been raised and ribbing off the foam at the back. I removed the insole and that seems to of work although their now not as comfortable.

Fit/Comfort

Traction/stability.

Sam Tremlett

17 years ago adidas introduced the world of golf to the now iconic Tour360 golf shoe. With the combination of achievements in the professional and amateur ranks, as well as big commercial success, adidas has now unveiled the Tour360 22 version ($210/£160).

Finding ways to update a flagship franchise and bringing it into the modern game can be difficult, but adidas sought to do this by going back to the original designs, analysing what made them work, and implementing those ideas into the new model. adidas looked to focus on two areas that would effect all golfers - fit and traction. So how did the shoe perform? We tested a pair out on the course to find out.

adidas tour360 22 golf shoe

I have often struggled to get proper fitting golf shoes because my feet seem to be between a 9.5 and a 10, and sizing differs across brands. However this was not the case here as in a 10 my feet felt comfortable, snug and cocooned.

This partly comes down to the Feet You Wear last. First introduced in 1996, it mimics the natural shape of the foot and accommodates the movement of the foot in all directions, even throughout the golf swing. I definitely felt the shoe wrapped itself around my foot rather than having a set shoe shape my foot had to adhere to.

adidas tour360 22 golf shoe

Additionally, adidas has a new Tour360 FIT, which has several design elements -

  • Dualstack Midsole – Combination of Boost cushioning with EVA stability frame. This technology is difficult to see but I felt it around the forefoot and the arch of my foot as well. The support here really felt good.
  • Geofit Collar Pad – Located on the top of the foot, this piece gently conforms to the individual to provide a more personalized and comfortable fit.
  • Insite Sockliner - The sockliner also conforms to each individual foot and its contours, especially in the heel.

I am always slightly apprehensive with wearing new shoes straight out of the box, but these just felt good and I was not concerned about blisters, rubbing or anything of the sort. The only minor complaint was the heel can feel quite stiff but this is part of the point of the design, so the heel feels locked in. This is a tiny negative for me but on that note, and because of the other technology in the shoe, I think these golf shoes would help those players who suffer from plantar fasciitis pain.

adidas tour360 22 golf shoe

Next up is traction and stability. I tried this golf shoe out in dry, damp and wet conditions and overall there was a good amount of grip in all conditions. A model that will no doubt find itself going into our guide on the best spiked golf shoes , the Tour360 22 has cleats directly injected into the base of the shoe which means you won't ever have to worry about losing them.

This design touch, combined with a variety of spikes and traction elements, really gripped into the ground. During my golf swing I occasionally stand up on my toes which has often meant I slip in wet conditions, but I never felt a lack of trust with these shoes. I also really liked the fact they weren't creating any large marks of indentations on the greens, something that can be a problem during winter golf.

adidas tour360 22 golf shoe

Of course for any model to be considered as one of the best golf shoes on the market, durability is also vitally important. Despite noticing how light the shoes were when I picked them up and tried them on, they still felt sturdy and really well made. I have used golf shoes in the past that have occasionally had the odd bit of questionable stitching or a piece of material is slightly coming away from another, but none of that was true here. Despite my best efforts to be heavy-handed with the shoes, every element was locked in and properly constructed.

The upper features a premium rich leather which is 100 percent waterproof and you also get a one-year waterproof warranty as well which gives good peace of mind. adidas has also incorporated recycled materials into the design to continue the brand's goal of ending plastic waste.

adidas tour360 22 golf shoe sole

The leather upper is easy to clean, as is the outsole, but the Boost technology can be difficult to get spotless which is common on many of the best adidas golf shoes . Additionally because the stripes come away from the core upper part of the shoe, dirt can get behind there so that is something to be aware of.

adidas tour360 22 golf shoe stripes

A common negative comment I see online about the Tour360 is people asking whether the design has changed enough. I don't really understand that mindset - I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But this new shoe should keep everyone happy because it looks like the traditional Tour360, with design touches that make it look different to past models.

I was a big fan older Tour360s because of the classic look and three-stripe design, but the new model has found a way of incorporating some modern flourishes that really stand out. I tested the white, blue and orange model and the small splashes of color give a totally unique style. But adidas has not gone too far and the restraint the designers have shown makes these the best looking golf shoes I have ever used.

The new shoe will be offered in five models: both laced and BOA models for men and women, and a simplified lace model for junior golfers.

The tour360 22 shoes blend athletic and classic better than many other models adidas has produced in the past..

adidas tour 360 22 blisters

TESTED BY: Jimmy Emanuel, Golf Australia Deputy & Digital Editor

FIRST IMPR ESSIONS: In terms of golf shoes, the adidas TOUR360 22 was the most hyped launch I can remember. I sat in on a virtual session with designers and Xander Schauffele and, although intrigued, was holding my judgement until I saw them in the flesh.

Once in possession of my size 10s I had a greater understanding as to why adidas made such a big deal over a shoe … these are fantastic.

The look is great, they feel like a quality product in the hands and, once on, the TOUR360 22 was simply brilliant. My feet felt locked in but comfortable, walking was a nice experience and the grip was very good.

HOW THEY PERFORMED: The mention of looks above is obviously a subjective one when it comes to shoes, however to expand on what made this pair standout, the TOUR360 22 blends athletic and classic better than many other models adidas has produced in the past.

Previously a traditional golf shoe wearer, these days something more modern grabs my attention but I find myself somewhere between the two. This shoe is right there, with the leather upper and wider forefoot from above they look fairly traditional, while the sole design modernises this significantly. And this combination is why I believe the fit is so good.

adidas tour 360 22 blisters

The “locked in” feeling is exceptionally stable when walking and swinging the club, paired with some soft yet solid comfort. Straight out of the box this was the case and I was confident enough to walk straight to the tee without fear of blisters or discomfort.

As time went on, this comfort level increased and I must point out how much I enjoyed the collar and tongue elements. Well-padded without taking too much space, the tongue of the shoe allowed me to find my preferred tightness without the laces feeling as if they were putting pressure on the top of my foot.

The feel of being well supported is combined with the sense that your natural foot shape is accommodated. As Sam Snead was fond of doing, there is nothing like hitting golf balls barefoot, and while it remains an issue in terms of dress codes finding a shoe that lets your foot be your foot is important.

Traction is the other key performance aspect of a golf shoe, and here the TOUR360 22 really stood out.

Some of my friends recently suggested they don’t think there is a benefit to golf shoes and the traction they provide, well two of my most recent games have seen mates slip during the downswing resulting in disastrous shots. Not me when wearing these though.

The moulded soft spikes are interesting and seeing how long they last will be worth keeping an eye on, but adidas’ reasoning for being able to create different shapes and sizes for the location makes sense, and the feeling of connection to the ground is improved. I also loved seeing the centre cone in the spikes that is exactly the style Tour players with metal spikes opt for in what is apparently a ‘more green’ friendly option. That little middle piece might not look like much, but anyone who wore the old spikes knows that there was no ground connection like metal spikes, and this does an admirable job of recreating it.

I have worn golf shoes from pretty much every brand in every style over the journey, and it takes a lot to seriously impress and these did just that. And in terms of finding one for each individual, there is a wide range of colours, plus the BOA models that diversify the range. Perhaps the lead-in work from adidas wasn’t so much hype but excitement.

ADIDAS SAYS: The first TOUR360 ushered-in an era for what has now become the brand’s flagship footwear franchise. The TOUR360 22 marks the next chapter.

After nearly two decades of building upon and improving that original model of the TOUR360, adidas went back to the beginning; adopting that same mindset of taking risks that ultimately drove the creation for that first model.

With the TOUR360 22, the primary focus was to re-examine how the company addressed two critical areas that are important for golfers of all skill levels: fit and traction. To get there, historical models of the TOUR360 were looked at, as well as brand archives from other categories for inspiration.

From the ground up, the TOUR360 22 sits on a ‘Feet You Wear’ last, serving as the foundation for the new ‘TOUR360 FIT’, while new direct-injected ‘SPIKEMORE’ traction system helps golfers stay locked-in and increase confidence with every swing. It’s the first time in golf that adidas have included these features.

Greetings. I bought this shoe and found it to be very comfortable at first then it began to create blisters on my heels and most annoying they squeak so loud any time I move. They fit well so it’s not a matter of fit, but any movement, walking, crouching or moving Of my feet they creak and squeak so loudly. It’s borderline unbearable.

anybody have any luck returning these or any previous shoes to adidas outside their 30 day return timeline. I called and they generic call taker told me to pound sand.

I got mine back in January and it took me a while to break them in.  Once they were broken in, there have been no issues with blisters on my heels.  I love how comfortable they are walking.

I didn't notice any squeaking or creaking from the shoes.  I'll pay attention to that next time I wear them, but it's not something that's stood out during my rounds.

I’ll only wear them to the range now because no matter what socks I wear I get massive blisters on the outside of both heels if I walk a round.

I got mine back in January and it took me a while to break them in.  Once they were broken in, there have been no issues with blisters on my heels.  I love how comfortable they are walking.

My issue came with the non-replaceable spike on my left shoe starting to break after 3 months.  Adidas told me that this was "normal wear and tear" and they wouldn't do anything about them.  I've loved each previous iteration of the Tour 360s, but this is frustrating.

As far as breaking them in, it took me wearing them to the range as much as possible and walking 9 holes here and there with my HS golfers before they were to the point where there were no issues over 18 holes.  I also recommend wearing tabbed running socks with them.  That little extra cushion helps.

Thanks

blister issue for first 3-4 rounds then have been great ever since for me. I love them but havnt had the squeaking issue mentioned above.

3fiddyz

Had no issues myself with these. Or any other Tour360’s. Had some heal wear on previous, but only due to my heal having a callus due to wearing leather work shoes!

Blisters can mean too loose or too tight. I lace mine pretty tight just so there is no movement. Can be a sock issue especially if your wearing the no show style sock as they can sit below the heal line of the shoe. Squeeking possibly due to too loose with the foot moving up and down?

but it can be they just don’t fit your foot!

Take them back to where you got them from and say that they are not waterproof (not easy to prove their end!) or buy some compede plasters. They act like a second skin / barrier and will allow you to play and still break them in!

Puzzling out Moscow for visitors under 30

Navigation games on the streets and conversation clubs in hostels are all part of the fun of figuring out Moscow when you’re young at heart. Source: Press Photo.

Navigation games on the streets and conversation clubs in hostels are all part of the fun of figuring out Moscow when you’re young at heart. Source: Press Photo.

Hugging strangers, reciting poetry and looking for bird-shaped graffiti is not usually part of a city tour—but Moscow Game Tour is no ordinary company.

Nikita Bogdanov, 25, founder of the company, says: “It’s not a regular tour, it’s a quest. You interact with Russian people, and you gain more experience.”

Moscow Game Tour is one of a new breed of innovative tours run by and for young people. They are either low-cost or free, and prioritise interacting with locals over traditional sightseeing.

Mr Bogdanov started Moscow Game Tour in 2009 to encourage visitors to explore areas outside the city centre. In the tour, which costs 700 roubles (about $22), participants are “players” and complete challenges that lead them to clues in the shape of a matryoshka doll.

Discovering fairy-tale Moscow

Strolling around the Kremlin

Discovering a glorious corner of paradise

Many tasks involve asking passers-by for directions or trying a Russian phrase. Along the way, players discover interesting features such as a monastery canteen, or a Socialist Realist statue.

Some clues are easier to locate than others. “There was one spot that we absolutely could not find,” says Vera Baranova, 25, who took part in a quest at Tsaritsyno Park in south-east Moscow. “When we asked someone, it turned out that we were actually right on top of it.”

Mr Bogdanov also operates the Moscow Free Tour, which provides an overview of major sites between Kitai Gorod and the Kremlin free of charge. In peak season, this more traditional outing attracts between a dozen and 40 people every day; the Game Tour runs only once or twice a week and usually attracts between five and 10 participants. Convincing visitors to sign up for an unconventional tour can be a challenge. “The Free Tour is more popular because it’s more easily understandable,” Mr Bogdanov says. “For the Game Tour, you need to explain to people what it is.”

Business has picked up as Mr Bogdanov has formed relationships with hotels, major tour agencies including TUI and companies such as Google. This year, he also began receiving support from Moscow’s Committee for Tourism and the Hotel Industry, which has launched a programme called “Moscow Fresh” to support creative tourism.

In addition to the Free Tour and Game Tour, Mr Bogdanov’s company offers daily paid-for tours with a variety of themes. The retro Communist Tour visits central Soviet landmarks, including the Lubyanka (former headquarters of the KGB); the Gulag Museum; a Soviet-style canteen and Eliseevsky, a regal shop on Tverskaya Street considered the grandest store in the Soviet Union (which these days sells imported French yoghurt and other modern luxuries).

Visitors can also venture below ground on the Metro Tour.  The latter stops at some of the most ornate stations in Moscow’s beloved Stalinist metro system, such as the mosaic-adorned Komsomolskaya. In an attempt to supply visitors with information beyond the average pocket guide, the tour recounts little-known facts about the metro, such as how many babies have been born on it.

Alexei Sotskov, 30, was inspired to start Moscow Greeter , a local franchise of the international Greeter network, after giving informal tours to friends. “I have a lot of friends in foreign countries, and when they come to Moscow I show them interesting places. So I thought it would be a great idea to start running a tourist service,” he says.

The greeters are mostly students learning English who take visitors to lesser-known sights, such as the former royal estate Kolomenskoye, as well as exhibitions and sporting events. The greeters not only show the tourists around but they also chat to them. “Greeters talk about their lives, their parents, where they’re from in Moscow, and where they study,” says Mr Sotskov.

“Traditional guides just give people information they read in a book.”

Valentina Lebedeva, a second-year linguistics student, has been a greeter for two months. “When most people come to Moscow, they visit the Kremlin and everything, but they go back and they still don’t really get how people really live here,” she says.

“Greeters offers tourists a good way to get a real impression of Russia, so that you don’t just visit the usual tourist sights.”

Another unconventional tour company, Lovely Russia , also strives to provide a more engaging experience for tourists. “A lot of the tours I saw being run by tour providers were really boring, just buses with large crowds of 60 year-olds,” says the company’s co-founder Anna Shegurova, 25. “There was not a lot for a younger crowd, a more off-the-beaten-path kind of thing.” Lovely Russia offers a variety of $22 tours in English. Locations include metro stations, Constructivist landmarks and a “Moscow as it is” outing that winds through the city’s side streets. At the end of the tour, guides suggest places where participants can enjoy a beer.

Ms Shegurova says the guides try to show visitors “a different side of Russia”.

“It’s a great city with a really long and interesting history… but you wouldn’t really know unless you have someone with you who’s able to share this history and make it interesting,” she says.

For visitors without a guide, getting around Moscow can still be a challenge. Over the past year,  some English-language signs indicating the locations of historical sights have been put up, but metro and street signs remain in Cyrillic.

Mila, volunteer for 'wow local'

“Coming here, it’s very hard to get orientated,” says Irina Tripapina, 25, the organiser of WowLocal . “We decided to compensate for the lack of information in English by establishing a community of volunteers who are willing to help visitors find their way.” After passing language and navigation tests, WowLocal volunteers are given T-shirts and badges emblazoned with the phrase “Ask Me, I’m Local.”

“Tourists can meet WowLocal at any part of the city and at any time – even at night in Butovo,” says Ms Tripapina, referring to the suburb south of Moscow.

Since the project started in July, Ms Tripapina says it has recruited about 400 volunteers. She wears her badge every day on her way to work, and says she’s frequently stopped by foreigners asking for directions (as well as Russians looking for the metro).

Occasionally, she fields some more unusual requests: “Once, a guy from Britain asked me where to get a bowl of pelmeni,” she says.

WowLocal also brings together local people and tourists through city navigation games and conversation clubs at hostels. “We bring volunteers together with the travellers, so that they can share with each other,” explains Ms Tripapina.

Guided Tour in Moscow City with Panorama 360

Visite Moscou - Panorama 360, Moskva City

Languages available :  French, English, Russian (choice during check-out)

Jump in the lift and take your camera with you, we are going higher! Follow your guide to the 89th floor of the Federation Tower (one of the highest skyscrapers in Europe), and discover a 360° panorama, offering you a unique view of Moscow: with the business district “Moskva City”, the old city centre, but also the Kremlin and the legendary Seven Sisters (the 7 soviet skyscrapers, historic symbols of the city), you will admire the Russian capital and its greatness.

Your guide will introduce you to the history of the city and its monuments, that you will see from the 360° clear windows of the building. You want to know more? Digital pads will be available to give your more information. A cafeteria and a local ice cream production will be there to allow you enjoying this unique moment at its best.

When time will come to go down, you can choose to follow your guide to the observatory balcony at the foot of the bridge: the best photoshoot spot of Moskva City. Here, you will be able to take a picture with all the towers of the City behind you, creating an incredible background. It is also the opportunity for you to learn more about the history of Moskva City, the brand-new Moscow’s business district, often compared to the Londonian City, or the Parisian La Défense.

The Adidas Tour360 22 golf shoes were more comfortable than I had anticipated. The foam insert molded to my foot shape and got more comfortable with time.
