This was the most awesome concert I ever saw! Both Basement and Touché Amoré were incredible. Also the people were really nice and helpful, but still cool :)

The vibe was amzing and the music of course beyond belief! Both bands were approachable and signend everything the fans gave to them, they were so kind! I would like to see them more often here in Germany!

great live show, absolute amazing vocals (with a lot of emotion) and instruments also.

each performance was great. Basement is intense. But it would've been better if the show started an hour earlier and if it were located in Boston. More people would've attended the show, plus there is more transportation. I wasn't satisfied because the location wasn't great. But basement always pull off a great show.

Basement announce 3 UK dates

Melodic hardcore outfit set for October shows

Following the release of their first record in two years, Basement have announced three October UK gigs.

The band were on hiatus for two years and returned in July with three-track EP Further Sky , containing two new tracks, Summer’s Colour and Jet , along with a cover of Suede’s Animal Nitrate , which the group made available for streaming. See below.

Two of the three dates have already sold out, but tickets are still available for their London show on October 29. Tickets are available here .

Basement announce UK tour dates

Basement will be playing two dates as five small venues across the uk..

Ipswich alternative outfit Basement will be playing some comparably tiny shows across the UK in late February and early March.

The band, who released their comeback album Promise Everything last year, will be bringing Higher Power with them for the shows.

Basement initially went on hiatus back in 2012, before confirming on Twitter in 2014 that they’d be back with new music.

The tour sees them play London’s Bush Hall on on the 2 and 3 March 2017, and King Tuts in Glasgow on the 7 and 8 March.

We’ve currently got tickets for their London dates at Bush Hall, and King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow. Grab them from 10:00 on Wednesday 18 January through Ticketmaster.co.uk .

After a short-lived hiatus and a number of U.S. dates, U.K. grunge types Basement have announced their biggest UK and EU headline run to date, including a date at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

With Tigers Jaw and Alex G in tow, the group will hit up a number of shows across the UK and Mainland Europe in support of their new album ‘Promise Everything’. Details on that are scarce, but the band have lifted the lid on the artwork, which you can see below, along with full dates for the tour.

The record is the band’s first since ‘Colourmeinkindness’, released back in 2012. Since then, the group have split, got back together, released a 7” and toured some bloody massive venues in the U.S..

Mike + The Mechanics to “play all the hits and drift into Genesis” on 2025 UK tour

The band, led by Genesis' Mike Rutherford, will play 30 dates across the country in early 2025

Mike + The Mechanics have announced a 2025 UK tour, on which they will “play all the hits” as well as “drift into Genesis ”. See all the dates below.

The shows, titled ‘Looking Back – Living The Years 2025 Tour’, will kick off on March 3 next year in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, and run for a total of 30 nights, concluding at London’s Royal Albert Hall on April 14. You can get your tickets here .

The band were formed in 1985 by guitarist and bassist Mike Rutherford as a side project to Genesis, and originally featured vocalists Paul Young and Paul Carrack. After achieving commercial success, they separated in 2004 after Young’s death, before reuniting in 2010 with new vocalists Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar.

Speaking about the new tour, Rutherford has said: “It’s exciting to announce that we will be touring The Mechanics again. Getting back on the road with the guys last year was a real pleasure. Even though it had been four years, we slotted back into the old ways, the old jokes and the camaraderie like it had been a day!”

Referring to their 2023 ‘Refuelled!’ tour, he added: “We had so much fun on the last tour and the audiences were so gracious and warm, when we played the final show in Dusseldorf we all agreed then that we wanted to do it all again. We can’t wait to see you.”

Genesis played their last show together in March 2022 at London’s O2 Arena. Rutherford later described the gig as “bizarre” and “emotional” .

“It was nice afterwards when everybody, including Peter [Gabriel] and Richard McPhail [tour manager from the seventies], were together in the dressing room,” he said. “Apart from that we kept backstage closed off.”

“But the actual show felt bizarre. I was kind of okay until I saw on my setlist that there were just four songs left. Seeing that in print made me emotional, but having got through all of the problems with Covid, it felt very good to see things through.”

Playing 23 tracks in total, Genesis ran through a long list of their biggest hits including ‘I Can’t Dance’, ‘Mama’, ‘Turn It On Again’, ‘No Son Of Mine’ and ‘Invisible Touch’.

Before playing ‘Land Of Confusion’, Phil Collins addressed the crowd and announced that it would be Genesis’ final show. As the crowd applauded the band, Collins sat looking thoughtful, seemingly taking in the fact that it was the last hoorah. He then quipped: “After tonight we’ve all gotta get real jobs.”

Collins performed that show in a wheelchair, after a period of health problems relating to damaged vertebrae in his neck.

Rutherford later offered an update on Collins’ condition , saying: “He’s much more immobile than he used to be, which is a shame, but at the tour, he was in good spirits.

“He’s fine now at home, enjoying life. He’s worked so hard over the years. I think he’s enjoying his time at home.”
