Blessthefall
Our actions ripple over time. It can take months or even years to feel the impact of the choices we make. These days, the aftershocks of blessthefall’s music reverberate louder than ever before. Following a decade-plus highlighted by fan favorite albums and countless sold out shows, the Arizona quartet— Beau Bokan [vocals], Eric Lambert [guitar],…
Kingdom Of Giants
KINGDOM OF GIANTS is poised to soar beyond “best kept secret” status and into the modern metal and post-hardcore stratosphere, with a continuously evolving sound that pushes both the band and their audience forward. Dragged Under

blessthefall are an American Christian Hardcore metal band, formed in 2004, hailing from Phoenix, Arizona. The band is currently signed to US Alt-rock label, Fearless Records.
The band’s early origins can be traced back to an Arizona high school in 2002 when guitarist and drummer friends Mike Frisby and Matt Traynor started practice sessions in the school’s music rooms. Guitarists Eric Lambert and Miles Bergsma and Craig Mabbitt on lead vocals soon joined them.
After playing gigs in their hometown the group generated some local press buzz with the clear religious leanings in their lyrics. The band was subsequently picked up by Science Records, who put them on tour with similar bands such as Alesana and Norma Jean. blessthefall went on to release their debut studio album “His Last Walk” in 2007.
The album was well received by alt-rock magazines and reviewers and saw sales of over 65,000 on its initial release, which was deemed as very successful for such a niche market. The band embarked on their first European tour, which saw lead singer Mabbitt leave the band for personal family problems. Current vocalist Beau Bokan, whose signature “scream” style has become a trademark of the band, replaced him in 2008.
In 2009, blessthefall signed with Fearless Records to release their second album “Witness.” A track titled “To Hell On Back” which featured on the album was used in the trailer for the video game “Splinter Cell: Conviction”
During the writing process of their third album “Awakening” in 2011, the band announced that founding member Mike Frisby was leaving and had been replaced by former “Legacy” guitarist, Elliot Gruenberg.
Following on from “Awakening” blessthefall confirmed that their latest album “Hollow Bodies” would be released in 2013. Hollow Bodies was a commercial success for the band, charting at number 15 on the US Billboard Charts. Blessthefall have successfully toured around the US and globally, as well as bringing their renowned live shows to alt-rock circuit shows such as the Vans Warped Tour.
Live reviews
Blessthefall... The concert was held in a small venue in a small part of Brisbane, Australia and let me say, they rocked the place! The supporting acts could never have brought the place together in the way Blessthefall did! The concert was explosive and was the best night of my life so far.
They started off with their global hit "You Wear a Crown But You're No King" and let me say, that was the real beginning of the night for me. The song brought life into the small but excited crowd. All members of the band were exceptional and you could tell just by their faces, how much they loved the music they were playing.
Beau Bokan, lead singer of Blessthefall, was extremely interactive with the crowd, highfiving and smiling at many of the adoring fans pushing against the stage. He even went as far as inviting the entire crowd up on stage. As the fans left the stage after they had gotten on it, he highfived and hugged many of them.
They finished the concert off with a powerful encore of "The Sound Of Starting Over" and a parting message of telling the fans to listen to their newest album. This last part brought the night to an end but it wasnt the end for everyone. After the show, all members of the band helped to clean up the venue and then go talk to fans who were still hanging around. Having conversations and taking pictures. Elliott Gruenberg, one of the guitarists even went as far to invite me to the side of the stage and give me a pick of his (inscribed with his name and a totoro) and then have a conversation with me about Doctor Who.
This conversation honestly made my night. After the exceptional music and awesome concert, I was thoroughly enjoying myself. This was of course my first concert. And it certainly was the best first concert I could ever have attended.

It is fair to say that British audiences have always found a way to listen to American punk rock bands despite them never having achieved commerciality on our shores. Blessthefall are very much one of these bands as their UK fanbase could only be described as cult due to the sheer dedication and commitment the fans demonstrate when the group announce a tour.
On their latest visit promoting the new LP 'Hollow Bodies', the band seems more well tuned than ever and step onto stage with the same level of rock unpreparedness. Although their demeanour may lead you to believe this is a jam session of sorts, the show itself is well paced and thought out as the group quickly perform some of the new material along with older cuts. The more well known tracks receive the largest reaction and the audience sing back 'What's Left of Me' in force. They wrap up an energetic show with the title track of the new album and leave the UK audience contented with both the material and the performers.
Their performance was so much more fun than i thought it was going to be; i had almost regretted coming to the show because i had a bad day but blessthefall made it so much better. Beau and Jared sang really well, Elliott and Eric were their usual awesome selves and they overall put on a great performance with lots of energy and with a good mix of old and new songs. You could feel the passion radiating off of them with every song that they played and made sure to get the crowd hyped up. My friend also got to take a pic with Elliott after the show, who was super polite to her. I would so love to see them again the next chance i get to when they come back to arizona at a venue that's near me.
Blessthefall is amazing live! If you like heavy metal I highly recommend you go see them. The other bands there eere good too. I had never heard the Plot in You, but now I like them. They did a song called My Old Ways and now it is 1 of my favorite songs. Also Blessthefall did my favorite song by them called Exodus and it was amazing live.
Amazing live, they always amped up the crowd even when everyone was tired. Got personal & close to the fans band is amazing & i highly recommend seeing them. Celebrated their album witness wich is one of their top 3 album's. Had alot of fan favourites.
Was awesome! The opening band was meh but, the rest were very radical! Amazibggggg! The venue wad very nice and big and clean. I wish it was 21 + but whatever it wad still good.

Hot off the heels of their music video for “Wake The Dead”, blessthefall has announced that they will also embark on the Hollow Bodies 10-year anniversary tour later this summer, marking their first live appearances in four years.
Speaking through a press release, vocalist Beau Bokan said:
“To all the fans…we’ve seen you and heard you over the last five years, we’re back and this one’s for you. ‘Wake the Dead’ has all the elements that define our band. We took our time writing it but didn’t overthink. We wanted the first song to melt your faces from the beginning and drag you to the end without slowing down. We hope you love it as much as we do.”
As for the much-anticipated anniversary tour, Bokan added, “ Hollow Bodies was the album that took our band to the next level and for that we are forever grateful. Being able to do a 10-year anniversary tour and play the record in its entirety is going to be incredibly special. It’s been four years since we played a live show and want to pick up right where we left off. We can’t wait to see your sweaty faces in the crowd!”
Be sure to catch the band as they perform at the Opera House in Toronto on August 14th. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (May 26) at 10am local time. VIP packages are already available via the band’s website.

In the wake of a successful 10-year anniversary tour to celebrate Witness in 2019, blessthefall went quiet for the next two years. Between the global pandemic and various other gigs, the members still kept the lines of communication open. The band now emerges from a half-decade of dormancy, and not a moment too soon. ___

May 25 — Metalcore band blessthefall premiered its first new music in give years this week.
The music came in the form of the band’s new single, ‘ Wake The Dead ‘ Wednesday. The band also unveiled a video to go with the single. The musical arrangement featured in the new single is a heavy, driving composition that is everything audiences came to expect from the band throughout its catalog while still establishing an identity all its own separate from the band’s existing work. At the same time, the intensity expressed through the screams, clean vocals, guitars and rhythm section make the arrangement easily comparable to works from fellow metalcore acts, such as Wage War, As I Lay Dying, and Memphis May Fire.
No information was provided about the song’s lyrical theme in the news release announcing the debut of the new single and video. The lyrics provided with the song’s video leave themselves up to interpretation. The chorus hints at someone addressing someone who was quite toxic. This is increasingly inferred in the chorus’ refrain, which makes a statement about someone dragging the subject through the flames and drowning the person in waves with only the result of the subject persevering. It all definitely leaves the lyrics to interpretation without exact explanation.
The video for the new single is a familiar style presentation. The band performs its new single on a sound stage dressed to look like the band is on stage as the song plays over the visualization.
Speaking of the band performing live, the band has also announced a new tour in support of its 2013 album, Hollow Bodies . The tour is scheduled to launch Aug. 3 in Santa Ana, CA and to run through Sept. 7 in Alton, VA at this year’s annual Blue Ridge Rock Festival.
Front man Beau Boken said the band is anticipating getting on the road and performing Hollow Bodies in its entirety for fans this summer.
“ Hollow Bodies was the album that took our band to the next level and for that we are forever grateful,” Boken said. “Being able to do a 10-year anniversary tour and play the record in its entirety is going to be incredibly special. It’s been four years since we played a live show and want to pick up right where we left off. We can’t wait to see your sweaty faces in the crowd!”
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the album’s release. the record peaked at #15 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, #3 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart, #2 on Billboard’s Top Alternative Albums chart and #1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart.
The album produced the singles, ‘ You Wear a Crown But You’re No King ,’ ‘ Deja Vu ‘ and ‘ See You On The Outside .’
The schedule for the band’s upcoming tour in support of Hollow Bodies is noted below. Caskets, Kingdom of Giants and Dragged Under will share time as support for the tour.
