Dallas Mavericks Home Playoff Tickets on Sale Soon; Full Details

The Dallas Mavericks are set to face the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs, and here's how you can buy tickets.

The Dallas Mavericks have officially snagged their 50th win, secured a top-five seed in the Western Conference, and clinched their first Southwest Division title since 2021.

Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Mavs now shift their focus to the NBA Playoffs. The Mavs are set to face the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs for the third time in the Doncic era, with the first two encounters ending in first-round exits for Dallas.

Mavericks first round home game tickets will go on sale on Sunday, Apr. 14 at 8 p.m.

Once tickets go on sale, there will be a four-ticket limit per transaction. Individual game ticket inventory is limited, and tickets are expected to sell quickly. Fans can purchase tickets online at this link.

"We're also looking forward to the challenge of facing a veteran ball club like the Clippers," Mavs superstar Kyrie Irving said. "However, we must remain humble and continue putting in the necessary work to set ourselves apart in the postseason."

In three regular-season matchups against the Clippers , the Mavs went 1-2, losing their two most recent games.

By avoiding the play-in tournament, the Mavs could have five to six days to prepare before facing the Clippers.

Doncic's regular season play has been MVP-worthy. Doncic is tracking to become the first playe r to average at least 33 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists in a season.

Leading the NBA by scoring 33.9 points per game, holding the second spot in assists (9.8) and three-pointers made (284)... His team believes the Slovenian superstar should win the NBA MVP honor . On Wednesday, Dallas players and team staff donned T-shirts emblazoned with "Pravi MVP," promoting Doncic for the MVP award.

The NBA postseason has arrived.

After Sunday’s regular-season finale, the league announced dates for Game 1 of each first-round playoff matchup. The fifth-seeded Dallas Mavericks will open their series against the fourth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers on April 21. Tip-off time for Game 1 is set for 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Game 2 will tip at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23.

The Clippers will host the first two games of the series at Crypto.com Arena, with Games 3 and 4 taking place at American Airlines Center. Looking to buy tickets for postseason games in Dallas? Here’s what you need to know:

The Mavericks announced that playoff tickets went on sale Sunday evening. According to Ticketmaster, tickets listed through verified resale range in prices from $118 to $429. More information can be found at mavs.com/Playoffs.

This year’s Mavericks-Clippers postseason meeting will be the third in five years, setting up a highly-anticipated showdown between the Luka Doncic-Kyrie Irving tandem and the group consisting of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and James Harden. Dallas enters the playoffs on a two-game losing streak after resting most of its starters to end the regular season, while the Clippers are on a three-game skid.

Leonard, George and the Clippers won the last playoff series between the two franchises in 2021. Despite a 46-point effort from Doncic, the Los Angeles-based squad survived in seven games and advanced to the Western Conference semifinals.

NBA Playoffs: Mavericks-Clippers playoff tickets go on sale Sunday night

DALLAS - Playoff tickets for the Dallas Mavericks go on sale Sunday night.

The fifth-seeded Mavs will take on the fourth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers in the first round series. 

Games 3, 4 and 6 (if necessary) will be played at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

It is the third time in five years that the two teams will meet in the first round.

The Clippers beat the Mavs 4-2 in 2020 and 4-3 in 2021 in two memorable series.

The Mavericks dropped their final two games of the season, but did not play superstars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving in either game.

The team has gone 24-10 since February, including the losses in the last two games.

The first round of the playoffs will begin on April 20 and 21.

Game 1 in Los Angeles will be held Sunday, April 21.

Playoff tickets will go on sale on Sunday at 8 p.m. and are expected to go quickly.

The Mavericks went 1-2 against the Clippers this season, but the two teams have not played since Dallas remade its team at the trade deadline, acquiring Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington.

Nov. 10, 2023 - Mavericks 144-Clippers 126

Dallas won the first game of the season between the two teams. Luka Doncic led the way with 44 points for the Mavs. Kawhi Leonard scored 26 points for the Clippers.

Nov. 25, 2023 - Clippers 107-Mavericks 88

The Clippers blew out the Mavericks in the second match-up between the teams. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 56 points, but the Dallas bench did little to help the cause. Richaun Holmes started the game at center for the Mavericks.

Dec. 20, 2023 - Clippers 120-Mavericks 111

This game was close in the third quarter, but the Kyrie-less Mavs couldn't keep up. The Clippers Kawhi Leonard finished with a game-high 30 points, while Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavs with 28.

The Clippers are 2-1 ATS vs. the Mavericks this season, and the Under has also gone 2-1. In their most recent meeting Dec. 20, LA covered as a 2-point road favorite with a 120-111 win as the Under (238) hit. Leonard had a game-high 30 points for the Clippers, who almost blew a 22-point, 2nd-quarter lead.

Even if Leonard plays, I can’t bet against the MAVERICKS ( -150 ) right now.

G  Luka Doncic  and G  Kyrie Irving have been leading arguably the best team in the West since March 7, and Dallas is 19-4 ATS as a road favorite this season. While we could play Dallas as a 2.5-point favorite, the ML is the safer bet and still reasonably priced.

Against the spread

I have no issue with laying the 2.5 points with the Mavericks in this spot; however, the ML isn’t that expensive and protects us from getting backdoored.

PASS . Bet Dallas ML and/or the total instead.

Unders went 4-2 in the Play-In Tournament games (5-1 depending on which line you got) and 2-2 in Saturday’s Game 1’s. The referees seem to be allowing a more physical style of play in this postseason. While this may be baked into the line, I still have no interest in betting the Over.

The Under has hit in 7 of the last 8 meetings between these teams, and given their playoff history, I expect another slow-paced, grind-it-out game.

The Dallas Mavericks are hoping the third time is the charm as they once again get set for a playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers .

The No. 5-seeded Mavs (50-30) will face the No. 4-seeded Clippers in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs — that series starting either April 20 or 21. It'll be the third opening-round matchup between those teams in the last four seasons; the Clippers won each of the first two, prevailing in 2021 and 2022.

Tickets for those first-round games will go on sale on Sunday, April 14 at 8 p.m.

The team said Thursday there will be a four-ticket limit per transaction and that individual game ticket inventory is limited and tickets are expected to sell quickly.

The 7th and 8th seeds have not yet been decided and will be chosen through a play-in tournament between the No. 7-ranked Suns, No. 8-ranked Kings, No. 9-ranked Lakers and No. 10-ranked Warriors. The winner of a 7/8 matchup will advance to the No. 7 spot while the winner of the 9/10 matchup will play the loser of the 7/8 matchup for the final, No. 8 seed.

The 7th and 8th seeds have not yet been decided and will be chosen through a play-in tournament between the No. 7-ranked 76ers, No. 8-ranked Heat, No. 9-ranked Bulls and No. 10-ranked Hawks. The winner of a 7/8 matchup will advance to the No. 7 spot while the winner of the 9/10 matchup will play the loser of the 7/8 matchup for the final, No. 8 seed.

The play-in tournament is scheduled for April 16-19. The NBA Playoffs begin April 20.

ALL OTHER FANS WILL NO LONGER BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A FAN HEALTH SURVEY PRIOR TO ENTRY. 

MASKS WILL BE ENFORCED FOR ALL FANS AGE 2 AND UP, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS.

Fans NOT Within 15 ft of Court

Entry requirements have been lifted for fans NOT within 15 ft of the court and a Fan Health Survey is no longer needed.

Health Screening - Courtside Fans within 15ft of the court ONLY

Due to NBA protocols, all  fans age 2 & up seated within 15 ft of court  ( SEE BELOW ) must comply to entry requirements outlined by showing proof of negative COVID-19 test or full vaccination status.

• Upload proof of negative COVID-19 test administered by a licensed facility within 48 hours of entry or full vaccination status to  MavsCheckIn.com  for for all  fans age 2 & up .
• Courtside fans can conveniently enter AAC through one of the following designated areas to obtain their Courtside wristband:
• If you park in Lot A or Yellow Lot – Media Entrance, west side of AAC.
• If you park in Gold Parking – Gold Parking Entrance, accessible via the Gold Parking Garage.
• If you park in The Lexus Garage or any other location – Jack Daniels Patio on southeast corner of AAC.

Mask Policy

In accordance with the Dallas County mask order, masks (covering your nose and mouth) are required and enforced for all fans ages 2 and up, unless actively eating or drinking in assigned seat, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.

Fan Safety Guidelines

• Cashless transactions at all points of sale, including concession stands, bars, and merchandise stands.
• Wristlet, clutch or wallet 4.5''x6.5'' allowed at all entrances. Purses no larger than 14''x14''x6'' will be allowed at designated X-ray entry points. No backpack or large totes allowed. Medical bags and parenting bags are also permitted.  All permitted bags are subject to security inspection.  

Mobile Tickets & Parking Passes

Dallas Mavericks tickets and pre-purchased parking passes will again be fully mobile this season. You can access your tickets and passes through the  Dallas Mavs app  or your  Ticketmaster account .
