Tampa Dinner Cruises and Day Cruises

Tampa is a waterfront city, and the best way to see it is on a dinner cruise or day cruise. Whether you choose a fancy dinner cruise or a pirate cruise, it's sure to be fun.

The 3 Tampa Bay day cruises are: Yacht StarShip, StarLite, and Captain Memo's Pirate Cruise (Clearwater).

The Yacht StarShip is Tampa Bay's premier dining yacht. Yacht StarShip offers entertainment and fine food on dinner and lunch cruises. On Sundays, experience Tampa Bay's largest cruising brunch. Yacht StarShip's normal route includes cruising out of Ybor Channel into the Hillsborough Bay and Garrison Channel. While in route, passengers view Bayshore Drive, Harbour Island, Davis Island, and Downtown Tampa's skyline. Docks at Channelside in downtown Tampa.

The StarLite Dining Yachts operate out of St Petersburg and Clearwater Beach. Dinner and lunch cruises, as well as a Skyway Tour.

The Captain Memo's Pirate Cruise offers daytime and champagne cruises on a replica pirate ship. Docks at the Clearwater marina.

The Promenade Deck can accommodate 125 guests for 360 degree views, feels like youre hovering 30 feet off the water. You can see it all!

Yacht Sensation

You’ll feel sensational aboard Yacht Sensation! At 92 feet and two decks, this yacht has a private yacht feel. A great yacht for groups of 128 passengers or less.   Cocktail, buffet, and seated dining options available from our award-winning menu, freshly prepared daily by our Executive Chef and Galley Staff.

Yacht Sensation has dazzling entertainment for dancing on the second deck. The Cruise Director (DJ) can play to any crowd, making the dance floor the most popular place to be after dining.

Weddings - Ceremonies for 76 on the second deck and a Main Dining Room that seats 80 make this yacht ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions of 80 passengers or less. Reception Only 100 passengers or less. Yacht Sensation features an outside seating area on the bow main deck, and a partially covered second deck verandah for 50 passengers.

Pirate Water Taxi

Is the coolest mode of transportation to invade Tampa Bay in a century or two.  The bright yellow fleet of three 50-foot water taxis can easily be seen by residents and visitors along the waterways, each accomodating 34-46 passengers, looking to explore the many shops, museums, attractions and restaurants located along the Riverwalk.  

The water taxis operate 7-days a week, with longer hours on the weekends and during special events.  The current route features 13 stops conveniently located along the Riverwalk, Channel District and Davis Island.  A whimsical historical narration is also provided on each daytime tour and each boat is equipped with restrooms and concessions.

Welcome aboard Craft, a multi-million dollar river cruiser built to cruise Tampa’s most scenic waterways, offering 2-hour brunch, lunch and dinner cruises. At 10’8″ of air draft (vertical clearance) the Captain will navigate the many low bridges on the Hillsborough River with only inches to spare, similar to the river cruises in Europe. 

Begin your river journey with a craft Cocktail from our one-of-a kind “Boat on a boat” bar, handcrafted from a 1914 vintage wood cruiser. Chef Allison Beasman has carefully curated a menu of elevated cuisine in America’s first open kitchen using gas cooking aboard a river cruiser.

When it comes to sunset cruises, nothing is cooler than floating around on a tiki bar boat. Both Florida Tiki Tours (pictured in feature image) and Cruisin’ Tikis Tampa offer sunset tiki boat tour experiences. These tours depart from multiple locations throughout Tampa Bay, including John’s Pass in Madeira Beach, Clearwater and even the Tampa Riverwalk . Tours are BYOB, so bring along your own beverages to sip.

Romantic Sunset Cruises for Dinner

Yacht Starship is one of Tampa Bay’s premier dinner cruise options. Departing from Tampa and Clearwater, each tour is an all-inclusive evening aboard a stylish dining yacht. Besides enjoying a 2.5-hour cruise with romantic sunset views, you’ll also be treated to a 3-course meal, open bar (beer and wine) and plenty of time for dancing. Reservations can be made online. Non-dinner cruise option is available as well.

Another local favorite, StarLite Cruises offers sunset dining cruises departing from St. Pete and Clearwater. On this sunset dinner cruise, your ticket includes admission for the 2.5-3 hour cruise with dinner as an add-on once you board. For dinner, you’ll be able to use the full StarLite dining service that functions just as a normal restaurant would. Each of the two ships has a different menu, so make sure to check that before booking! Reservations for romantic sunset cruises can be made online.

Dolphin Watching

For the animal lover in your life, ParrotDise Express offers sunset dolphin watching tours (the **chef’s kiss** of romantic sunset cruises) daily aboard their vessel of the same name. If you’re lucky, you’ll be treated to playful dolphins jumping in the boat’s wake! Each tour lasts 2.5 hours and includes complimentary drinks, including beer and wine.

Laid-Back Romantic Sunset Cruises

Serving up fantastic views of Tampa Bay (including the Tampa skyline) alongside fun facts about the city, Tampa Bay Fun Boat ‘s sunset cruise is a must for a unique date. This relaxing tour lasts for about an hour making it the perfect activity to combine with dinner downtown. Another perk? You’re allowed to bring a cooler with adult beverages on board and there’s no corkage fee. We recommend bringing a bottle of your favorite wine or champagne to toast the beautiful sunset. Tickets are just $18/person and reservations can be made online.

On the St. Pete Beach Sunset Cruise , you will have much more privacy and less crowds. These romantic sunset cruises only take a maximum of six people per voyage, so it’s perfect for the intimate affair! Bring your own food and drinks for a romantic picnic on the water. Reservations can be made online. $54 per person.
