Our Two-Hour Dolphin and Snorkeling Tour is a combination of a Dolphin Tour, a Snorkeling Tour, and a Shell Island Tour. Panama City Dolphin & Snorkeling Tour is for all ages. We usually start the adventure by taking a cruise, pointing to slightly different wildlife, attractions and local history from St Andrew Bay, and then we see our local Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico. We had a wonderful time snorkeling and observing the dolphins on our visit. Our captain was quite knowledgeable and fun to be around. She took us several places while we were out and was quick to point out all the interesting sights around Shell Island and Saint Andrews State Park. Would 100% recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed.

Captain Keaton was amazing. He was knowledgeable about the marine life and took us to “secret” locations where we got to see unique items. At one point we got to a sandbar and found 11 starfish among sand dollars, mollusks and fish (we put everything back). We saw several dolphins and even got to view two full grown loggerhead sea turtles. Captain K was great with my two young boys (6 and 3); he answered all their questions and even let them both “drive” the boat. I would recommend this tour to everyone! My brother, a local, turned us on to them and I’m so glad we didn’t book with anyone else.

It was an amazing experience to be in the water with dolphins swimming all around us. We also got to snorkel over a shipwreck and saw lots of interesting fish.

We had a great time on this tour! Keaton (turtle) was our captain and very informative about the dolphins and turtles and all the other sea creatures we seen snorkeling. He made sure we got to see lots of dolphins as well. This is our favorite thing to do when we come to PCB. We will be back!

You can motor in our boats built for cruising while watching beautiful dolphins in their natural environment and swimming with them. Our boats are actual dive boats so the children will love finding and seeing the dolphins and having the opportunity to snorkel in the water just like a real SCUBA diver.

Unlike the larger tour boats that carry up to 175 people, this Dolphin Tour carries only 6 passengers (children of all ages included). We can have you in the water with your snorkel gear on quickly and without all the noise those large groups create, often scaring the dolphins away. With the professional guidance of your captain, you’ll be able to enter the water and watch the dolphins at very close range.

Where to snorkel near panama city beach.

We will depart from Historic St. Andrews Marina to Lower Grand Lagoon for a 15 minute boat cruise out to our snorkel area, Shell Island.

Along the way, be on the lookout for dolphins and other sea animals in their natural habitat. Once we make it to Panama City Pass, we will anchor in the Gulf of Mexico or along Shell Island where you can snorkel for seashells, seahorses, crabs, starfish and witness the wonder of the underwater world, learn about local sea-life, or just relax and hangout in the Florida sun.

You can also wade through the shallow water onto Shell Island to hunt for shells. After we have spent some time at Shell Island, we will end the trip with a ride out to the Gulf of Mexico to search for dolphins and watch as we get close enough to to look them right in the eye.

We snorkel from 6 boats, up to 13 passengers. Private snorkel trips are available on any boat, depending on the size of your family.

We had the BEST time on our dolphin tour with Captain Trevor!!! My kids loved him so much and he was VERY patient with all their questions. He also told them fun stories and let us have some time at the beach. 10 out of 10…definitely recommend!

We took a sunset cruise with Paradise Adventures and it was spectacular! The kids were in heaven seeing dolphins and riding on the net at the front of the catamaran. What a cool experience. We were in heaven sampling the delicious drinks (try the Privateer Punch!) and watching the beautiful sunsets! A storm rolled in and the captain even got us back just in time for us to make it to our car before it started raining. Highly recommend for a fun family experience.

This trip was AMAZING! I have never seen so many dolphins and I highly recommend this. Gordon kept us all entertained and kept the kids involved...he especially looked after my 11 year old and had him help dock the boat! My wife and I were in PCB and wanted to do a Sunset Cruise. This cruise fit the bill to a T and the pier for boarding ended up within walking distance of our lodging accommodations. The staff was very professional, safety was stressed appropriately, and the cruise left on time and return on time as well. It was a cool evening, but the sun came out and it was perfect. The captain and staff were fabulous. We ended up seeing a school of sting rays as well as numerous dolphins. It was a great experience. Highly recommend Paradise Adventures Catamaran.

The captain, first mate, and the boat were first class. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We got to see the dolphins up close and took some fantastic sunset pics right on the catamaran. I would recommend this trip. Also liked the smaller catamaran the Footloose. Less folks but VERY stable boat for the trip.

Good price and great cruise. The crew were friendly and helpful. Largest pod of dolphin I have ever seen on a bay cruise. We also saw deer along the beach at St. Andrews Park.

Requirements and Regulations for Operator’s:

Driver’s born after January 1st, 1988 must have a “Boater’s Education Certificate. (Boater’s License) to drive a boat or jet ski
Picture Id’s (Required) for all driver’s and boating education- certification
If you don’t have one you can take a temporary one on site. This course takes about 10-15 mins to get certified. Or get certified online @ boater education certification
Restrictions: You must be 18 years old with a valid US driver’s license or valid form of ID to rent a personal watercraft. You can be 16 years of age to operate a personal watercraft with a picture ID and a boater’s license.
