Each episode of the game was made available on the same weekly air date of the show’ weekly TV episodes. The Grand Tour Game  puts players behind the wheel of the cars from Season 3, and brings them to the iconic locations the hosts will visit this season, including  The Grand Tour 's signature Eboladrome test track. Featuring seamless transitions from clips of the show to gameplay, plus hours of original voice acting from Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May,  The Grand Tour Game  is infused with the show's trademark humour and banter.

Cheeky power-ups like High Tea, which spills tire-shredding cups and saucers, and More Horsepowers, which lets you blow past the competition, help make the action unpredictable, and keep racers on their toes.

Though designed around the series as much as possible so that one may follow each episode as closely as possible, some artistic licence and copyright negotiation was taken by the developers so that the game may be released.

One of the most jarring copyright-related differences was the Jaguar XE SV Project 8, which appears completely obscured in bubble wrap due to the car's exclusive licence deal with Electronic Arts. Another is the senna which was completely cut out and replaced by the 720s review from season 2. This was done due to the senna's licencing to turn 10 studios and Forza Motorsport/Horizon.

Not the worst Licensed Game

The Good I Like that you have all Characters of the Real Show. Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond. Also this Game has real Cars not some kinda Fake cars you could get in other 15€/$ Car Games. The Bad The Controls are pretty bad and varies too much with different Cars. Also some Kind of Missions in Story mode are repeating too much like Same Track, Different Car 3 times because you have to do it also with James, Richard & Jeremy. If you finished your weekly Story because you get a new Episode every Friday till Season 3 is finished of the Grand tour Show you kinda don't know what to do. There is no online race and race against AI is also very boring and you don't have many tracks. The Bottom Line This Game is perfect for Fans of the Grand Tour Show. Maybe also if you like James, Richard & Jeremy but it's nothing for you if you want a cheap Forza or Gran Tourismo.

What Happened To The Grand Tour Game?

The Grand Tour found itself to be one of the most popular shows uploaded to Amazon Prime Video when it was first released late 2016. The show continued the legacy of Top Gear and its presenters, Jeremy Clarkson , Richard Hammond, and James May , and gave the hosts higher budgets to play with, new ideas, and reportedly, a much higher income than their previous BBC contracts.

Gaining huge popularity, The Grand Tour Game was revealed in January of 2019. The game followed the story of the episodes and mixed real clips from the show with gameplay, merging the two media incredible well. And while this was a brilliant idea, reviews came back as mixed.

Fans of the show loved the game, but could be described as being biased. On the whole, the game received very mixed reactions, with many praising the game for its new take on a gaming experience, but with sub-par graphics and weak gameplay. We didn’t hear a lot about the game since then, and now it looks as though the team behind it have silently swept it under the rug, despite promised of it being updated to run parallel to future Grand Tour episodes.

The game has been removed from all storefronts, and after July 31st, all bonus content will expire and not be available to those who purchased it. Amazon has removed the following conus content:

It was absolutely awful. I played it for a couple of weeks and never opened it again. Honestly, I’d forgotten it even existed.

I played it and as someone who is into racing games it was a below average racer but…..it was alot of fun! Had the Mario Kart like feel to it and playing with a few friends was quite interesting. Shame it’s being dropped, was looking forward to watching it’s evolution as the series went on and the people that make grow as a studio.

I own the game amd absolutely love it! It is definitely one of my favorite car games.. Bought it about a year or so ago on my PS4 Pro..

Still have it installed on my xbox. It’s a fun split screen racing game to play with the kids as it’s super simplified controls

Variety has been granted exclusive access to the trailer (below) for Portuguese director Miguel Gomes ‘ “Grand Tour,” which will have its world premiere in Cannes Film Festival’s Competition section. Variety can also exclusively reveal that that distribution on “Grand Tour” will be handled in France by Tandem, and in Italy by Lucky Red, and that Gomes’ next film will be “Savagery.”

“Grand Tour” is produced by Uma Pedra No Sapato (Portugal) in co-production with Vivo Film (Italy), Shellac Sud (France) and Cinema Defacto (France), in association with The Match Factory (Germany), Rediance (China) and Creatps Inc. (Japan), and with the participation of ZDF/ARTE and RTP.

Gomes was previously in Cannes in 2015 with “Arabian Nights” and in 2021 with “The Tsugua Diaries.” His 2012 film “Tabu” played at the Berlinale.

Speaking to Variety , the film’s producer Filipa Reis explains how the project came together.

It was over dinner with Reis that Gomes first presented his idea for the film, in which narrative sequences shot in a studio would be intercut with footage of contemporary Asia. “The idea was… I don’t know… very appealing and charming,” says Reis, who was a co-producer on “The Tsugua Diaries.” Gomes then asked her to produce it.

The plan was for Gomes to take a small documentary-style crew to seven Asian countries – Myanmar, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Japan and China – shooting in 16mm so “that we could build this archive and then to write the script according to what was found,” Reis says.

Once those funds were in place, Gomes shot the narrative sequences in studios in Portugal and Italy in early 2023.

Reis says it was a “challenge” to do the Asia trip without a script, adding “it’s not as it’s meant to be in the industry, but it was also very appealing.” She adds that it required “a risk” to be taken to shoot the archive footage before applying to the production funds.

Asked how working with Gomes compares with working other directors, she says: “He’s very unique. And I think to work with him, you really have to be very confident about what he’s doing, because it can be a proposal that’s a bit outside the box compared with the way you are used to doing things, and the way the funds and the industry thinks things are supposed to be done.”

During the studio shoot they had “links to some rough edit archive footage, so that when you read the script, you could understand at least how [the narrative footage] crossed over with the archive,” she says. The narrative sequences are in Portuguese, except for one character who speaks in French. The archive footage is in the language of the country that the crew were shooting in.

Although the story takes place in Asia during a time of imperial rule in many countries colonialism isn’t the theme, Reis says, in contrast to “Tabu.” “I would say that it’s something new. Of course, ‘Tabu’ is a great film, but I think this one will be surprising,” she says, enigmatically.

As to the tone of “Grand Tour,” Reis says that it contains both comedy and tragedy, “but it is also melancholic, and it is courageous.” She adds: “I think it has a lot of emotional elements for us to make a connection with it.”

The film was finished in October, and shown to Cannes in November. A world premiere at Cannes was always “Plan A,” Reis says, adding: “I feel as a producer that it’s where the film is supposed to be, and where Miguel is supposed to be.”

At present no preview screenings are planned, although that may change, and Gomes isn’t doing press interviews before the world premiere. “We would like it if the film was discovered by everyone at the same time,” Reis says. “I’m a bit anxious to see how it will be received, and we are very curious about that. So it would be nice if we could make a surprise and share our enthusiasm and our surprise with the audience.”

Reis says that her next project as a producer will be Gomes’ Brazilian-set film “Savagery,” which will be co-produced by Tatiana Leite in Brazil. Further details about the project will be released at a later date.

New Gran Turismo 7 update features an all-electric concept racing car created exclusively for the game

Today’s 1.46 update includes ŠKODA Vision Gran Turismo, two other cars, new Café Menu, and World Circuit Events.

ŠKODA Vision Gran Turismo

A single-seater all-wheel drive EV from the distinguished Czech manufacturer. 

Drawing on the rich heritage of Škoda Motorsport, the Škoda Design Team has created a visionary study of a single-seater, all-electric racing concept car: the ŠKODA Vision Gran Turismo. Created exclusively for Gran Turismo, this concept represents Škoda’s first inclusion in the Gran Turismo series. Inspired by the Škoda 1100 OHC Spyder racing car from 1957, a vehicle originally developed for the prestigious 24-hour Le Mans race, the Vision Gran Turismo is a modern tribute to this legendary racing car and promises an immersive and responsive driving experience. 

The ŠKODA Vision Gran Turismo project began in 2019 when the design team revisited the iconic Škoda 1100 OHC. Initially, the team was debating whether to restore the original 1100 OHC or create a futuristic iteration for the digital age. After consulting with Chief Designer Oliver Stefani, the Škoda Design team opted for an innovative approach, creating a fusion of past and future. 

This racing concept pays homage to its legendary predecessor as well as incorporating the defining features of Škoda’s Modern Solid design language, as seen in its T-shaped headlights. What’s more, the Vision Gran Turismo showcases two distinct liveries: one reflecting the heritage of the famous Škoda 130 RS racing car from 70́s, and the other inspired by the Vision 7S concept car, which embodies Škodás Modern Solid Design philosophy. 

The ŠKODA Vision Gran Turismo boasts a sleek exterior with crisp, clear lines and pronounced edges, mirroring the aesthetics of current Formula E racers. Its design is optimized for superior handling through active aerodynamics. Features like the aerodynamically sculpted body, and the striking, adaptive two-piece rear wing, all work together to dynamically adjust to driving conditions and boost performance. The vehicle incorporates independent wishbone push-rod type suspension system, mounted to a carbon monocoque like those found in Formula E cars, improving high-speed stability, reducing body roll, and lowering the vehicle’s center of gravity. 

Efficiency and excellent driving dynamics are at the heart of the ŠKODA Vision Gran Turismo design. It is equipped with two 200 kW (268.2 BHP) electric twin motors, one on each axle, delivering a combined power output of 800 kW (1,072 BHP). The inclusion of all-wheel drive with intelligent torque distribution across both axles ensures a balanced and responsive driving experience. This is complemented by a smooth, single-speed transmission, providing seamless acceleration. 

The design of the ŠKODA Vision Gran Turismo harmonizes the exterior and interior, giving the driver the feeling of merging with the car ‒ especially once they take a seat in the cockpit of the cutting-edge carbon monocoque chassis.

AFEELA Prototype 2024

A revolutionary ‘mobility device’ set to change how we spend time moving.

This is the purpose for which Sony Honda Mobility was founded in 2022. This new company, born from the collaboration between 2 very different companies, unveiled their AFEELA Prototype 2024 BEV at the beginning of CES® 2024. 

On the exterior, the car uses an orthodox hatchback sedan shape with a smooth aerodynamic look. There are several sensing devices across the car, including the LiDAR unit at the front of the roof and other image and radar sensors. The highly accurate data from these devices are used to provide more natural driving assistance. 

The doors open automatically as the user approaches so there is no need for door handles. Looking towards the front grille, you will find the customizable ‘Media Bar’, a digital display which allows for both self-expression and communication from outside the car. 

However, the real appeal of the AFEELA lies within its cabin. The interior features a vast array of features to ensure passengers are never bored. 

The most obvious feature as you board the vehicle is the wide dashboard display spanning almost the entire width of the car. This screen provides not only information from the car itself, but several entertainment options which can also be shown on the seatback displays for the rear seats. As well as music and movies, passengers can also view a real-time 3D representation of the car’s surroundings taken from the sensor arrays and allows them to enjoy the scenery around them as if playing a game. 

The appeal of the car is not only visual either. The AFEELA also features a personal agent feature which allows passengers to interact with the car through natural speech. Additionally, a combination of Honda’s extensive experience in mobility and Sony’s audio knowhow has resulted in an innovative noise cancelling system to reduce road noise. Isolated from the drone of the outside world, the interior’s numerous speakers provide an unparalleled audio soundstage. 

The AFEELA transforms the process of moving around from simply waiting, to enjoying the time spent in the car. This 2024 Prototype is critical milestone in the process of bring the AFEELA to market production.

In the following year of 1965 however, the Chevelle SS was transformed into a full-blown high-performance car, with a 396 ci, OHV V8. From then on the Chevelle SS was only offered with this 396 ci unit, drawing a clear line between it and the previous SS. 

In 1970, the Chevelle SS went on to be called the most powerful intermediate model on the market. The engine line-up that was only available in 396 ci was upgraded, offering an enlarged 402 ci model. In addition, a 454 ci, enlarged version of the 427 ci, was offered as well. 

The option codes for the two types of 454 ci models offered, were the LS5 and LS6. The former produced 355 BHP with a compression of 10.25:1, and the compression of the latter was raised to 11.25:1, and combined with high cams and high flow headers, it produced approximately 449.7 BHP. This was the most powerful catalogue model engine in the history of American cars in its day. 

The LS6-equipped Chevelle SS454 was immediately recognised as a very special model, with its wild power output unlikely for a road-legal car. Equipped with a straight exhaust and carburettor settings, it is said to have easily exceeded 493.1 BHP, and was the big contender in stock class drag racing.

The NFL world descends up Detroit this week , just months after the Detroit Lions earned their first playoff wins in decades and made an incredible run to the NFC championship game.

The 2024 NFL draft is in downtown Detroit this Thursday through Saturday . Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to be there, with fans of all 32 teams looking to celebrate their teams' draft picks near the stage at Campus Martius and checking out the NFL Fan Experience at Hart Plaza.

If you're traveling to Detroit for the draft , here's a guide to make your draft experience easy and unforgettable. Information on registration, parking, travel, street closings, and draft day activities are all below.

When is the 2024 NFL draft?

The 2024 NFL draft is April 25-27 . The rounds break down as follows:

• 8 p.m. Thursday, April 25: Round 1
• 7 p.m. Friday, April 26: Rounds 2-3
• 12 p.m. Saturday, April 27: Rounds 4-7

Where is the 2024 NFL draft?

The 2024 NFL draft is in Detroit , spanning from Campus Martius to Hart Plaza in downtown with additional events in Beacon Park, Capitol Park, Grand Circus Park, Harmonie Park, and along Woodward Avenue. Here's how Detroit got the NFL draft .

2024 NFL draft registration, tickets, sign-up

The 2024 NFL draft is free to attend and open to the public. If you're planning to attend, though, you will need to register using the NFL OnePass app or online through the website .

Registering for the event only guarantees you the NFL draft footprint in downtown Detroit. You must buy tickets separately for the actual draft theater.

Ticket packages are available for purchase for the second and third rounds starting at $950 per person — the fourth through seventh rounds start at $550 per person as well. Please be wary of potential ticket scams .

2024 NFL draft map

Downtown detroit transportation.

Detroit has multiple public transportation options to get around downtown. The city has a streetcar , an elevated rail system , bike share , and bus system to get you where you need to go.

These include:

• The   Detroit People Mover , which will operate 24 hours a day from 7 a.m. April 25 through midnight April 28.
• The  QLINE   along Woodward Avenue, which will run from 8 a.m. to midnight April 25 through April 27. The stops include Harper Ave., 116 Lothrop St., 6540 Cass Ave., John R & Piquette and 6230 John R St.  
• Bus service: SMART will have park-and-ride services from various points in metro Detroit, including Great Lakes Crossing, several Meijer store locations and Oakland County Community College. It also has its FAST service on Gratiot, Woodward and Michigan Avenue. DDOT services will operate with modified downtown routes because of road closures.
• Shuttles and drop-offs: There will be designated shuttle and ride-share drop-off points throughout downtown on Woodward, Jefferson and Fort Street. Detroit Air Xpress, or DAX, is a nonstop coach bus service connecting downtown Detroit to Detroit Metro Airport, and  D2A2  is an express coach bus that connects downtown Detroit to downtown Ann Arbor.

Detroit parking for 2024 NFL draft

If you decide to drive  downtown , make a plan and prearrange parking . Many off-street lots and garages are booked, and street parking will be limited or restricted in the area. Parking regulations will be enforced; vehicles may be towed. Those planning to park downtown are encouraged to arrive by 10 a.m. You may find off-street parking options on the Park Detroit app or on Park Whiz.

You can pay for metered parking through Park Detroit's website or app. There are also options for private parking throughout the city.

Detroit road closures for 2024 NFL draft

The City of Detroit is conducting six phases of road closures leading up the 2024 NFL draft and during it. It started March 29 and will go through May 7. Be mindful of these closures as you're driving downtown.

Security, bag policy at the 2024 NFL draft

Detroit police say they've got a safety plan in place that includes increased police presence downtown, weapon detectors and video monitoring .

Detroit police have partnered with the NFL and local businesses on the security plan, as well as state and federal law enforcement, according to 3rd Precinct Cmdr. Matthew Fulgenzi.

The NFL will have weapon detectors installed that attendees must walk through at the gates of the event, which will take place at Cadillac Square, Campus Martius, Hart Plaza and a portion of Woodward Avenue. The NFL has a clear bag policy to enter the draft area, Fulgenzi said.

2024 NFL draft schedule of events, parties

2024 NFL draft day activities are from noon to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, events go from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Use the NFL OnePass app to find more on what's planned and when throughout the NFL draft blueprint.

Activities include a Pro Football Hall of Fame exhibit and an autograph signing opportunity with current and former NFL players, as well as a 40-yard dash, vertical jump, deep throw accuracy challenges, and more. There will also be a collection of Detroit-based food trucks for participants who attend.

2024 PGA Championship odds: Scottie Scheffler favorite to continue grand slam pursuit, Rory McIlroy near top

Valhalla is set to host this year's pga championship, and the odds board has adjusted since the masters.

With the PGA Tour's season rolling onward to its second major championship with the 2024 Masters now in the book, the 2024 PGA Championship is just around the corner. Valhalla will serve as host for the first time since 2014 and fourth time in its history as the best golfers in the world convene to begin action on May 16.

You might not believe this, but Scottie Scheffler is the favorite. Scheffler has won four of his last five tournaments -- including the Masters by four shots -- and has lost to just one other golfer since March 1. He has made $16.3 million in that span, third-most in a single season despite the 2024 campaign not having reached its halfway point.

Scheffler is now a stunning 7/2 favorite to win the PGA, which would put him halfway to the 2024 grand slam, a feat nobody has ever accomplished in a single season. In fact, odds for Scheffler to pull it off are now an eye-popping 40-1.

The closest anyone has come to a grand slam in recent years came was 2015 when Jordan Spieth won the first two majors, finished one shot out of a playoff in the third and then finished second in the fourth. It would not be surprising if Scheffler put together a similar major championship season.

• Rory McIlroy: 9-1
• Jon Rahm: 10-1
• Brooks Koepka: 16-1
• Viktor Hovland: 18-1
• Ludvig Åberg: 18-1

McIlroy won the PGA last time it was at Valhalla, but that was 10 years ago when he won two consecutive majors to collect Nos. 3 and 4 at the age of 25. A lot has happened since then, but McIlroy is still a tremendous player. And while he has not had the season he expected or that his last two seasons portended, he's still a threat here (though 9-1 is short). Koepka is the defending champion as he and Hovland engaged in a great battle last year at Oak Hill. Neither is playing as well this time around. Åberg is probably a better bet at 18-1 than either of those two.

• Patrick Cantlay: 20-1
• Collin Morikawa: 22-1
• Wyndham Clark: 25-1
• Jordan Spieth: 25-1

The interesting players here are Clark and DeChambeau at 25-1. The latter will be in the field following his best Masters appearance to date; he's seemingly in terrific form. The former is the reigning U.S. Open champion coming off an awesome PGA Tour year behind Scheffler. He is also probably better suited to being a bit of a bomb-and-gouge guy, which is typically how PGAs have been set up in recent years (as opposed to the Masters and Open Championship).

Young intrigues me. An excellent major player, who should be able to decimate this golf course. He was good at the Masters and had a T3 at the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills. I would not love him at 20-1 ... but at 40-1? Absolutely.

SEATTLE (AP) — Mitch Haniger hit a grand slam in the sixth inning, two batters after Arizona ace Zac Gallen left because of tightness in his right hamstring, and the Seattle Mariners beat the Diamondbacks 6-1 on Friday night.

Gallen (3-2) walked Josh Rojas to lead off the sixth, then was pulled in the middle of Julio Rodríguez’s subsequent at-bat.

“Just a right hamstring spasm and I think we really dodged a bullet,” Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said. “Credit him, it’s hard to pull back in those situations and understand what you body is feeling and call out your catcher. I think he’s hopefully going to be fine.”

Rodríguez went on to single off Scott McGough, and Cal Raleigh walked to load the bases for Haniger, who hammered a 389-foot shot to left-center on a full-count fastball.

“Honestly, just trying to get a ball in the air in the outfield, ” Haniger said. “Trying to hit a sac fly really, but obviously put a good swing on it and hit it hard as you can. 3-2, selling out for a fastball with nowhere to put me.”

Josh Rojas and Mitch Garver also homered for Seattle, and Emerson Hancock (3-2) threw six strong innings. Rojas homered on Gallen’s first pitch of the game, and Garver made it a 2-0 in the second.

Arizona’s Kevin Newman homered in the sixth, one of two hits allowed by Hancock. Trent Thornton and Cody Bolton combined for three scoreless innings in relief.

“Another outstanding starting pitching performance tonight,” manager Scott Servais said. “We are on a roll with our starters, really our whole pitching staff. They’ve just been outstanding here over the past couple of weeks.”

Mariners starters have gone 14 consecutive starts without allowing two or more earned runs, a franchise record.

“It’s special, I think everyone knows that,” Hancock said. “But I think for us, … we’re always trying to get better. We really are. We’re trying to work, we want to just keep pushing, and each guy that goes out there, I feel like we have confidence he gives the team a good chance to win.”

Gallen allowed three hits and three earned runs.

TRAINER’S ROOM

Diamondbacks: P Paul Sewald (oblique) was set to throw a bullpen Saturday and will most likely make another minor-league rehab appearance before making his return from the Injured List.

Mariners: Bryan Woo (elbow) will make his second rehab start Saturday at Triple-A Tacoma and will likely make one more before returning to the active roster … RHP Matt Brash (elbow) is throwing at 100% and was being examined Friday in Seattle to determine if he’ll go on a rehab assignment soon.

Mariners right-hander George Kirby (2-2, 5.33 ERA) was scheduled to pitch Saturday against Diamondbacks right-hander Slade Cecconi (1-0, 3.00 ERA).
