Originally booked for the whole family in the end only myself could travel. All was fine at A&O. Room fine. I had a good rest and would come again to A&O Leipzig/another hotel in the chain.

This is an awesome hostel. Location in centre of town easy to get everywhere, fairly new, super friendly n helpful staff, run as a proper hostel with great kitchen and eating area, cheap breakfast and a deposit (refundable) for bedding towels etc. Highly recommend and the best I have stayed in in Germany.

The hotel is located a little bit far from the Leipzig Hauptbahnhof, yet it is near the major buildings and streets, just on the opposite side to the Thomaskirche in which Bach lied in peace. The Bach Museum is just on the opposite to the Thomaskirche. I would recommend my friends to stay there if they go to Leipzig.

The room was very spacious and had a fridge but no kettle, but as it was 28 degrees this worked very well. I had a balcony which has also lovely = rising sun with Leipzig's beautiful architecture. Very clean. Staff were helpful and tolerated my poor German and couldn't have been more helpful. My mistake for not staying longer. I'd go back.

A very large room with a large bathroom for a budget price. All facilities are available except a fridge. The price was "fully paid" according to the confirmation mail by Agoda. Nonetheless, a city tax of one euro per day was required by the receptionist at the check-out without any receipt to have been paid. The confirmation email by Agoda is in Bulgarian, so it is meaningless to display it quoting "fully paid" for it is also in Bulgarian and thus understandable for a German receptionist. Dear Agoda, I have demanded already a few times for all confirmation emails to me to be in English rather than in Bulgarian for they cannot serve for any claim to any hotel outside of Bulgaria being in Bulgarian. I do not use hotels in Bulgaria at all.

About 8 km north to Leipzig old town. Easy for travellers with cars. Price is reasonable. Room is in average size. Room with fridges (not often in Europe). A mercy in hot days of summer.

Come to leipzig for conference. The price rise during the peak season and still comparable to some of the city hotel. Still worth it given the excellent service.

Clean and comfortable stay in modern rooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available at the hotel for a reasonable price. It is worth to choose to stay overnight if you have an early morning flight.

Great location near the train station. Easy to walk all around Leipzig as it is fairly centrally located. We were there for the Christmas markets which were a 2 block walk away!

I attended for the Kongress the place is near where the congress is. The food is great and the breakfast but at the reception area, the people are not really nice and friendly.

got good help in the hotel but the free wi-fi didn't reach our room so had to leave the room to be able to use internet on my laptop. didn't try the food so cant say. but they had a hairdryer that we borrowed. there is a shortcut to the tram just outside the hotel but apparently its private..looks like just normal park.

We love that we can cook here while Supermarket is nearby and tram is nearby to the city center. One uncommon for overseas guest is there is no receptionist, but overall is very nice to stay.

It was everything we needed for the weekend. Definitely a great value for the amount of money we paid.

The hotel very conveniently located just opposite to the railway station and only 10 minutes from the centre with nice restaurants and bar. And services at the hotel excellent.

Room was big and clean. About five minutes walk to tram station that took us to the city (which took about 25 minutes) next to the hotel there was Kaufland supermarket. We had a car and parked on the streets near to the hotel (1 min walk) so no reason to pay 9€ per day to park at hotel

For young people like myself, listen to their advice because the areas she told me to go to, I seriously didn’t want to leave, I want to live in Leipzig! I rented a bike from them which was the best way to get around and see the city. There’s a direct tram from the central station by the way which is ten min then a short walk, don’t listen to google maps which can tell you to take the train which is way longer. Their bar is super cool and homely. Seriously have nothing bad to say about this place or the town, loved it!

A beautiful Penthouse room, however there were many aspects of this stay which were very unsettling: 1. Agoda stated that the payment had to be made in the local currency (fine), but when I got to the hotel, the actual payment had to be made in cash dropped into a safety box, for which I still do not have the receipt. Hopefully the hotel sends it within the three promised days on their notification, but I find this a dishonest and unacceptable way of running a business. 2. The lift does not work to all floors. 3. This is not a hotel, but a residential apartment block. There is no reception, no staff to assist when you need help, and no-one to open a door if you arrive early. There is also nowhere to leave your bags after returning the key. 4. There were discrepancies between the German and English instructions in the guest information (e.g. key drop information and WiFi information). 5. WiFi is not always reliable, and the given instructions were not complete. Took several messages to the owner (at international calling rates) to work this out. 6. Washing machines were in a cellar, run by an external company, and were filthy. I found it scary going to the cellar by myself. 7. The apartment is called something different: Hentschels Apartments 8. The apartment is 1 k walk from the main station (there is a tram which is one stop from the main station). A really nice room, but could never stay here again, as I didn't feel it was managed according to international standards. If you get sick or injured here, there is literally no-one to help you. Better for couples or families.

Nice hotel for stopover while travelling by car in Germany

Great little apartment. Highly recommended. Clean, efficient. Couldn't get the smart tv working but it was only one night so not a problem.

The apartments are very nice and in a quite setting. The courtyard garden had a small playground that our kids enjoyed very much. The staff was very friendly and forthcoming. We forgot something in the apartment, which was sent to us by mail! Overall a fantastic service, and we will definitely visit again.

At the beginning I was complaining about my pillows which stank as they were probably not aired very well after getting wet. but when i cam back to the hotel they did not stank so much as before so i guess they changed it. the rest was ok and i liked the quiteness of the room which was to the backyard site. (on the frontside runs a tram from morning to evening)

This is the only way I can describe (using both past experience and sheer imagination) Hotel and Restaurante Don Giovanni. Directions from Leipzig Haupthahnhof (main train station): 1) In front of train station catch the #3 tram (toward Taucha), and get off at Scwartzestrabe, approximately 20 minutes. 2) Hotel and Restaurante Don Giovanni is approximately 100 m around the corner. We we're welcomed by the hard working family managing this menagerie as we entered the Alice and Wonderland meets Pinocchio and Tinker Bell oases. We stayed on the top floor in room 5 with vaulted ceiling, multiple skylights, recessed LED lighting, and custom mosaic tile. The suite was furnished in a hybrid Tuscan Classic Contemporary style, with glitter-ball chandelier included. And the bathroom styled in much the same way was then peppered with modern sleek nickel fixtures including the contoured jacuzzi tub built for two. Includes free multiple device internet throughout the room and complex. For a modest €9.50 per person we ate breakfast in the winter garden, surrounded by green indoor foliage, marble water fountain, high opaque circus ceiling, knight armor, and various multiple jars of Italian olive, tomato, and green red pepper jars. And I can't forget the bird and lizard habitat on the far end of the garden, where I swear to God I saw the chameleon, with lightning speed, nab an insect. Enjoy.....

I was very pleased with my stay at the apartment. Key collection is a little inconvenient as this takes place at the opposite side of the city centre, although in my case it was not a problem as I was given a lift to the apartment by the proprietor.

Expensive breakfast, greedy pricing... not even a welcome bottle water. Gym has exactly 3 bottles of water available and no water machine... super disappointed by key card system. Had to go every day to the reception to unlock a separate card for the gym.... in hindsight a „good“ offer turns out to be a trick...

Alles, die Lage, das Zimmer, das Frühstück, das sehr freundliche Personal und auch das Parkhaus.

Frühstück habe ich nicht gebucht, aber Kaffee und Croissants waren gratis. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, zentral zur City, aber sehr leise. Parkplätze gegen Aufpreis vorhanden, aber in Leipzig ist das von großen Vorteil.

Die Lage ist Super. Einfach über die Straße gehen und man ist mitten in der Stadt (Fußgängerzone). Auch zum wunderschönen Zoo sind es nur 500 m Fußweg. Parkplatz direkt im Hof 👍🏻. Wir haben zusätzlich ein Frühstück buchen können für eine Person die nicht im Hotel übernachtet hat. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal bei euch und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich -großes Lob! Frühstück war super und reichhaltig! Das Zimmer war sauber!

Wir haben ohne Frühstück gebucht, aber was wirklich toll war ist dass es trotzdem einen Kaffee und ein echt leckeres Croissant gab.
