All went smoothly, good srandard of accommodation and flexibility in the itinerary. Driver spoke reasonable English so we were able to communicate and he made some suggestions which were appreciated. Houseboat was relaxing, great crew and experience.

We took a tour of the Kerala Backwaters and it was a memorable experience. The natural beauty of the places we visited - Munnar, Thikkady, Alleppey (houseboat) and Kovallam - were unbelievable. The accommodations iwere super! Whole credit for organizing this trip for us goes to the team of K K Holidays. They really did a superb job and we literally had no issues at all! Our driver-guide Shyam needs a special mention. He was simply outstanding and went out of his way to make our trip memorable and worry free!

Amazing Kerala Tour from Cochin - 6 Days

I had a great time in Kerala. I loved the scenery, the culture, and most of all, the people. Our driver, Mr. Sibu, was terrific. I'd love to come back to Kerala and have him as my driver again. The guides in Kochi and Munnar were also great—they were knowledgeable and flexible. We weren't too happy with the initial boat we were given for our Backwater tour, but the company quickly changed us to another boat, which was great. The hotels were all good and the staff were very helpful. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

The Relaxing Kerala tour from Cochin to Munnar, Alleppy, and back to Cochin. It was an amazing tour that provided me with the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The tour started in Cochin, which provided a great introduction to the culture and history of Kerala. We had the opportunity to see and explore the main attractions of the city, such as the Chinese Fishing Nets, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, and the Jewish Synagogue. We also had the chance to visit the local spice markets and take a sunset cruise in the harbor. The tour then continued to Munnar, where we got to enjoy some of the most breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. We took a jeep safari to the top of the hills, which provided us with some amazing views of the surrounding tea plantations. We also went on a guided trek through the hills, where we got to explore some of the local wildlife and vegetation. After Munnar, we headed to Alleppy, where we had the chance to take a houseboat cruise on the backwaters. This was an incredibly relaxing experience, as we were able to take in the beautiful scenery and spot many birds and other forms of wildlife. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. The tour provided me with the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable holiday experience. The tour was well-organized, the destinations were beautiful and the overall trip was very memorable. The first stop on our tour was Cochin, also known as the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'. We spent a day exploring this bustling city, visiting popular attractions like the Mattancherry Palace, Fort Kochi and the Chinese Fishing Nets. The highlight of our visit to Cochin was the Kathakali dance performance, a traditional dance form of Kerala. Next, we headed to Munnar, a scenic hill station in Kerala known for its lush green tea plantations. The drive to Munnar was breathtaking, with views of the Western Ghats and waterfalls. We also got a chance to visit the Tea Museum and learn about the process of tea-making. The stay in Munnar was in a beautiful resort surrounded by tea gardens, making it a truly serene and peaceful experience. Thekkady was our next destination, famous for its wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations. We spent two days relaxing on the beautiful beaches, trying out various water sports and indulging in some delicious seafood. What is the best season to visit Kerala? A. October to March is the best time to visit Kerala. No better time to enjoy Kerala’s vivid scenery. Q. What is a good place in Kerala for leisure and Ayurveda? A. Varkala is the best choice as it ticks both the categories. It is a laid-back getaway with cliffs fronting a turbulent sea, a lineup of coconut groves, regular yoga session planned by the hotels and resorts, cafes serving the fresh catch of the day, afforded by the setting are several Ayurveda clinics and resorts that specialise in Ayurvedic therapies complete with their resident doctors and nutritionists. Q. Is Uber available in Kerala? A. Only three cities in Kerala have Uber; namely Trivandrum, Cochin and Thrissur. A typical intercity Uber trip is between Cochin to any part of Kerala. In such an arrangement, you need to pay the return kilometre rate like in a regular taxi. You can also book an Uber ride from Alleppey and Kottayam provided it is headed to Cochin alone. Q. Is it safe to stay in a houseboat? A. There are houseboats meant for a day trip and there are overnight houseboats. The latter can further be categorised into Deluxe, Premium and Luxury categories. July to September is the rainy season in Kerala when the state draws its shutters and goes indoors. Where does the Nehru Trophy Boat Race take place in Kerala? A. The fabled Nehru Trophy Boat Race or the snake boat race takes place on the Punnamada Lake near Alleppey. It happens annually in August on its second Saturday.
