Lakshadweep is an archipelago of twelve atolls, three reefs and five submerged banks, with a total of about thirty-nine islands and islets. The reefs are in fact also atolls, although mostly submerged, with only small unvegetated sand cays above the high-water mark. The submerged banks are sunken atolls. Almost all the atolls have a northeast-southwest orientation with the islands lying on the eastern rim, and a mostly submerged reef on the western rim, enclosing a lagoon. It has 10 inhabited islands, 17 uninhabited islands, attached islets, 4 newly formed islets and 5 submerged reefs.

The main islands are Kavaratti, Agatti, Minicoy, and Amini. The total population of the territory is 60,595 according to the 2001 census. Agatti has an airport with direct flights from Kochi.

• Reporting Time: 09 AM – 10.30 AM Location: Lakshadweep Warf, Behind HHA Tank, Indira Gandhi Road, Willington Island, Kochi. 
• You can collect the boarding pass from the Manager, Lakshadweep Tourism.
• Once you are onboard, you can check into your cabin/coupe.
• You will be served lunch onboard.
• The ship will depart from Kochi at around 3:00 pm.
• Enjoy evening snacks and dinner on board.
• Overnight stay in Cruise.

Day 2 Island Number One

• You will have your breakfast in the ship.
• The ship will take you to 3 islands (out of Minicoy, Kalpeni, Kavaratti and Kadmat) in the entire journey. So, on 2nd day morning you will reach on one of the islands.
• The general activities are almost similar in each of the islands.
• Lunch will be served on the islands
• You would indulge in different water sport activities the whole day. You might also want to relax. You can even go around the islands if you want to see the native life of the villagers. Most of them are inhabited and have lighthouse.
