We reached in the afternoon and checked in to a delux room. The room was spacious, clean and well ventiled. The balcony was great to spend some mornings and evenings watching nature. The bqthroom was clean. We evwn qere given spare sheets when we needed. The highlight was encounter with nature as well as the restaurant food is amazing. Things to remember: the breakfast is 8 to 10 lunch 1 to 3 and dinner 8 to 10 and in between you can only get coffee or tea. So carry some snacks. Food is amazing. One of the best Dal fry and Phulkas.you need to order more.as they are very light. Staff is very helpful and nice. I just wish if the Govt. Does some renovation and this place will be a gem.it aready is lovely. To visit Bhimashankar it is the beat option. Only JIO works there otherwise no range. So paytm doesnt work. Keep cash.the ATM available near temple only lets you withdraw small amounts.

It's an excellent place to stay when compared to other places nearby as it's maharashtra tourism owned and restaurant inside will provide tasty food felt bit expensive as per quantity but it's ok as it's tourism place and having good food is important than price. But as it's remote area there were no medical shops and i wonder knowing this MTDC Bhimashankar is not maintaining general tablets like paracetamol, cold or headache related. I had fever but unfortunately they dint had and there was no shop near by so never forget to carry medicines. However other family helped us with tablet. So thankful to the family. Most important thing you will have no network except jio. Hotel has no wifi.

Location superb, closest to lord shiva's dwadash jyotirling bhimashankar temple. Ambience, natural surrounding environment, wide panoramic beauty, room size - all are excellent. Though devoid of wifi like other modern resorts, but aloof from hectic life of din & bustle city life, 2-days partly stay in bungalow pattern wide rooms are highly satisfying to me. Hotel was good but manager of MTDC Bhimashankar took extra 500 rs and i also contacted you but you were not able to resolve this issue so i paid rs 500. Hotel was terrible. One room toilet flush faulty and both room ceiling fan regulator was faulty. Both room instead of bathroom bucket they provide very dirty paint bucket. I am sending pics of this MTDC Bhimashankar. Tv was only fitted but not working

Stay at mtdc bhimashankar has been amazing. Vip room is superb with neat and clean toilets and balcony. Food quality was amazing beyond expectations. The courtesy extended by the manager and reception team was remarkable. Restaurant serving staff needs to be increased, particularly on weekends. 4. Good experience. Huge property n big rooms and comfortable bed n linen. Clean bathroom. Good hot water. Excellent food though limited. Both reception staff as well as kitchen staff very efficient n courteous. Though the room was non ac the weather was beautiful n you never miss the ac. Value for money.

Serves the purpose of spending a night

The property is clean and location is good. Very ideal for groups. Food is average but manageable. It is actually worth the money you spend. We booked a dormitory and a room for 11 people in totality. Served the purpose of spending the night. Do not expect excellent service but staff is responsive.

Hotel is behind Apte Road just behind FC Road so the street noise is minor. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Best waffles I have had while on a travel anywhere. The rooftop was also great for watching IPL games on their big wall. Roomss were neat and clean. I will stay here on my next visit to Pune.

Stayed at St. Laurn for 2 nights in an executive twin room. The room was perfect, spacious, could adjust the aircon to my liking, good bathroom, what more do you want? Breakfast was included and it was okay, with the usual order your own dosa etc. The room service was good as well, with a variety of choices of Indian and Western food. Loved the Muligatawny soup. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. The location is just perfect for exploring Pune and if you need an auto rickshaw or a cab, it was no problem to get one. Koregaon Park area has some lovely alleys and streets lined with trees with little cafes and restaurants with gardens. For the price paid, it is very value for money! Will stay here again if I come back to Pune.

Agoda did not include complementary breakfast while booking - something very basic that shouldn't be asked for. Next time I'll rather book it directly with the hotel.

It's an old hotel, so some squeaks here and there can be expected. Jyoti and Krishna at the front desk have been very helpful at all times. The hotel seems to support local products as I see the paper napkins etc are sources from local (Pune) vendors. So, that's great! Overall, I recommend this hotel to everyone. They don't allow your guests to the room under any circumstances. If you expect guests during the day time, you should book for those many heads. Or, if you have already booked solo/double occupancy and expect guest during the day, they will charge you a nominal fee and then let them to your rooms. Which is fair.

I visited Pune to meet a friend and stayed here for 1 night only. The best part of the hotel - it is bang opposite Pune railway station hence didn’t need to travel a long distance.. kudos to the strategic location! The hotel is nice although furniture looks a bit outdated and bathroom water flow etc could be better. What makes it great four star stay is the staff. They are super excellent. The breakfast is good and staff there are very friendly and helpful. The reception staff Vikas went out of his way to help my multiple times. When my flights needed to be changed I used his phone and more importantly I needed the EPL channels on my room tv which weren’t there. In 2hrs he arranged for another set top box in my room and I got all my beloved sports channels here. I will return and stay and Sagar Plaza whenever am at pune. This is the best hotel, which I stayed during 4 cities trip in INDIA. The hotel's room, facilities, restaurant, and staff are excellent. The location is a bit out of attractions, however I had a conference in the hotel so no complaint. It is great for staying here, Conrad -Pune.

Although the map shown online is misleading. There is no pune central anywhere near the hotel and it is a little far from the main city. But still would prefer a stay there if got a deal again.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it's by far the best hotel I've stayed at in India, during my past month of traveling. Front desk staff, porters, cleaners, restaurant manager and staff all very friendly. Great variety of food at buffet breakfast. Restaurant food is high quality. Rooms are comfortable, cleaned every day with great ventilation. Bathroom is spotless with everything in good working order. Location is good and in a quiet street. Movies cinemas and a western style boutique pub next door. 500m walk and you can experience some real Pune, with numerous shops and good local restaurant bars. Also train station is very close to the hotel. Just book a room, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Also don't expect the signal to reach each room - I could only surf on the couch right next to the entrance. The room itself was OK, although nowhere near like on the pictures. I paid for "Deluxe" option which I doubt was any different than any other apartment in the building. The linen had seemingly permanent stains on it and seemed a bit sketchy. The AC worked perfectly. The walls were dirty with raw cables sticking out. The free breakfast was very tasty, just like other restaurant food for that matter. Convenient location. Staff was very helpful.

Staff were all very helpful, cheerful, and looked after me well. The cooking is really good. The laundry service is marvellous. The hotel staff will book your cars to airport, book ayerverdic retreat, etc. I would definitely go back.

Breakfast is not good only one verity is available for breakfast

This hotel has no kitchen. Food ordered by menu card is brought from nearby resturant. There is a 40/50min. delay. Also there is problem with crockery/cutlery. Payment for food has to be made for every individual parcel. Otherwise, it is a good hotel, with helpful staff.

The location is pretty good on the side of the main road, but could be noisy. You will easily get auto or taxi and there is parking available behind the hotel. The room is cramped and much smaller than the pictures. The maintenance, etc, is so so. You only have the bed and a wall wardrobe, which takes up most of the room space. Very few channels on the TV.

Clean, silent good restaurant and room service. Breakfast is complete. We just missed filtered coffee and maybe some sunbeds in the swimming pool. Staff was always very kind and willing to help any time. We will come back in our next time in Pune.

It was a wonderful experience at the hotel Gateway in Pune. Everything is commendable about the Hotel. I would never recommended anyone to book through Agoda. There was a mistake in my booking and inspite of trying many times there was no response from Agoda. They just keep you waiting on the IVR. Never again Agoda

I undertook their Fitness Challenge programme which was tailored to my needs. The ambiance was awesome. The staff were most knowledgeable and helpful . Their physio dept is most professional . Restaurants and cuisine is well presented and delicious . Overall outstanding.

Pune is a quieter version of Mumbai. A nice place to visit, shop and discover the Indian culture. The University of Pune and its various colleges are a great attraction for international students.

Also, Laxmi Road and MG Road still remain the main places to visit to see most of the shops and locals. Negotiate taxi fares well before taking one.

Pune is situated at hight and hence climatically pretty good. In old time [17/18th Century]it was capital of Maratha Kingdome but not much is left now except a ruined palace.

Subsequently in British era and later post independence it is important Military cantonment in Western India. However in last decade or so Pune is completely transformed and emerged as one of the major IT City in India and has grown exponentially. Once quiet city comprising local population and retired Army personnels [one of most prefered place for residence post army retirement] is now very crowded and happening place in west Indian only next to Mumbai.

Its a historical city of Maratha Kings and it has certain places like Shaniwar wada and Prvati hill which carry the history within.

A must see museium of Kelkars is a one man collection of antiques and artifacts..Shopping is good in MG road Camp..

pune is a lovely city, not too crowded and the people are very friendly. for transportation from the airport i would recommend using a company called wings.

they are on time , air conditioned cabs and very reasonable rates. and the drivers speak passable english. a trip of 22 km , from the airport to balewadi sports complex cost me 520 rupees. less than 10 dollars. you could get the number from the net and pre book the cab if you are visiting pune for the first time.

I made a trip to an ipl game which was good fun but the stadium is a long way outside of pune and leaving the game was a nightmare.

Roads need to be finished and widened.

Great city, I would suggest staying near the osho ashram even if you don't intend on going there, the area around it is beautiful.

Osho ashram over priced, copious amounts of peaceful parks you can "meditate" in for free. Pune is quite interesting, one thing I really wanted to do but didn't have time was going to the glide centre.

Pune is a youthful and vibrant place with loads of places to treat your taste buds. Also lots of places around Pune provide majestic view during monsoons.

Pune is a well developed city. The four and five star hotels are good. The spa's in the hotels are good.

However they do have stand alone spa's as well which are very good with a little bit of entertainment. The food is very good and of the highest standards. There are historic places which can be visited but nothing compared to the ones abroad.
