What you'll see and do

You’ll see more of New York than most New Yorkers. Are you ready?!

Your tour begins in the heart of Manhattan near Times Square. Board your air-conditioned bus and head north to the historic Harlem neighborhood, famous for its African-American roots, food and more.

After a stop at the Apollo Theater Walk of Fame, we’ll continue north into the Bronx, birthplace of hip hop and rap and home to the New York Yankees. Fill up on baseball lore at Yankees Stadium . Then head off to see incredible graffiti murals unique to this borough.

Next up: Queens, the largest borough of New York City. We’ll stop at Flushing Meadow-Corona Park, originally developed to host the 1939 World’s Fair, then the 1946 World’s Fair, with some monuments remaining you can still glimpse. The park has a lot more, including the Queens Hall of Science, the Queens Zoo, and the Queens Museum of Art, plus Citi Field, which we’ll see when we visit the park — it’s the home of the Mets!

Leaving Queens behind, your next stop is the Bushwick Collective in Brooklyn, currently NYC’s most prolific neighborhood for street art and graffiti murals . It’s a foodie destination, too, so we’ll break to grab some food.

Within Brooklyn, the Hasidic Jewish community is thriving in Williamsburg. You’ll get a chance to appreciate their distinct shops, fashion and eateries when we visit.

Finally, see the beautiful Brooklyn Bridge , the longest suspension bridge in the world when it was built, and enjoy views of the Manhattan skyline. Our tour ends in Manhattan’s Little Italy and Chinatown, where you can enjoy this lively cultural district on your own. It’s a great place to wander, do some shopping and eating, or stay for dinner!

  • Strawberry_Lemonade6 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Super Xmassy! This was such a wonderful Xmassy experience. The amount of effort put in to the decorations on each home was incredible! The Xmas songs played during the coach journey was a really nice touch and added to the Xmas atmosphere. There were ice cream vans parked on each corner with snow machines, selling hot chocs which was lovely. Some of the residents of the homes were also in their garages selling hot drinks for a small fee, which was really nice to see. Very friendly and beautiful neighbourhood. Our tour guide, unfortunately I cant remember his name (sorry) but he was German if that helps to identify him, he was very nice & friendly also. The stop off to watch the sunset on the way to Dyker was wonderful, we were very lucky to have had a clear night & could see the Statue of Liberty in the distance, with the orangey/yellow sky, stunning. The stop off on the way back to see the twinkling Manhattan skyline in the darkness was equally amazing. Brilliant tour, would definitely recommend to people of all ages. • 71barik 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Recommend this experience! This was a very well run tour. Felt professional and we felt pretty taken care of. The views of the city are amazing. And it's so much fun to see all the Christmas lights! There are plenty of people around- it's a popular activity so just be aware of that. You also might want to bring some extra cash to tip your tour guides, and also buy some hot chocolate and other goodies that are abundant on your walking tour! I also loved that we got to go by the Brooklyn bridge and see the bridge and the sky line on the way back. A really good time for sure. Recommend it! Read more Written 25 December 2023
  • Roving56558173948 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles Very enjoyable, shame about the sunset photos of the skyline. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us some interesting facts. It was a shame that the first stop of the Statue of Liberty and skyline was so rushed. I know you can't guarantee a sunset, but if the bus had left slightly earlier we may have seen one to take photos of this iconic view, rather than in the dark. Plus, we had about 5 minutes max for a toilet break, as there were no toilets on the bus, not ideal. The Dyker Heights area lived up to expectations, be warned it is very busy and you may lose your tour guide if you are not careful. That said, the tour guide did tell us the address to meet if we did get lost from the group. The Brooklyn Bridge skyline was amazing at night. All in all, it was a very enjoyable trip. • tktk112023 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Bad Day MADE GREAT! I cannot recommend this tour enough. It was worth every penny for us. We had a very rough day and jus happened upon this tour while walking and saw a sign. Fortunately for us they ha a couple of extra seats and were able to fit us in. The guide was helpful and friendly. We loved that is also provided in two languages. Even though we don't speak German it was nice to see others being able to enjoy the history of the city and lights. The stop at the Brooklyn Bridge was breathtaking. In fear of butchering the spelling of the tour guide's name, I won't attempt...he was FANTASTIC!!! Read more Written 18 December 2023

However, bus was late, tour company apparently doesn’t have approval for meeting place as run off by NYCPD and group had to move while waiting. First Stop was for bathroom only and we had to walk about 1/4 mile around block and thru Brookfield Place mall for restroom. Wasted so much time. Tour guide was helpful and friendly but not the best speaker or narrator. Tour says four hours but took over 4 1/2 due to lack of organization. Overall still worth seeing though. Except it never happened. I booked the trip, walked 1/2 a mile to the location on my blistered feet and the guy never shows up. 5 minutes after we are supposed to leave I text him. I know he received the text because he's using an iPhone and read receipts. Then 5 minutes later I call him and it goes right to voicemail. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON HIM. Zero integrity. If you go to NY i will advise you to go to its places: Central Park is the best place for walk and relaxing on the open air. The Empire States Building is the highest skycraper in NY from the top you have a magnificient view of the city. The 5th avenue is the best avenue for do shopping you have many famous clothing Brand. Hot-dog is the post amblematic symbol food of NY,this is not expensive and fast to eat. I would like test more food typical of NY. And visited more places like Statue of Liberty,Broonklyn neighboorn, and more. The are to many thing to do in NY. Read more Written 1 February 2020
  • 672alisont 0 contributions 2.0 of 5 bubbles Disappointing I went on January 3 2020 with my 8 year old son for his first holiday visit to NYC. It was disappointing. The tour guide was ok but a few things that made this not worth the time and dollar. 1. I expected lots of houses with wow lights but it was about 5 wow houses, mostly ok light houses, and many houses with nothing. Not even famous Lucy Spata house ( who started the trend ) had decor- it was already taken down. They shouldn’t do the tour past Jan 1 if houses already take stuff down — but even so most decorated houses we could have found in our Ohio town. 2. The dual German-English switch off was annoying and cumbersome. 3. The tour guide was ok but he offered nearly no commentary on the houses during the actual Dyker heights walking portion. His commentary was only on bus tour travelling in out of Manhattan. 4. The “half day” title is misleading. We were done in 3 hours exactly from 4pm to 7pm. It was good that it only took 45 min to get to Manhattan and we had one hour 15 min to walk Dukes Heights but certainly not 4 hours or half day. 5. The departure was 4:00pm even though my ticket had said 4:15pm. 6. Get a tour that stops at DUMBO near Brooklyn Bridge at the way back for night views — we got a quick drive by on way back but not enough for photo of Manhattan skyline. Despite the personable energy of the guide the back and forth from German to English language commentary was a big distraction. The best surprise was driving back into the city and seeing all of the city lit up. Price and value good! Read more Written 19 December 2019
  • Joyce W 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles Enjoyed the tour The tour guides were friendly and provided many details. The Christmas decorations were the best I have ever seen. Due the high traffic, the majority of the tour was spent on a bus from Manhattan to Brooklyn, then back. I wish we would have had more time to walk around so that we could have seen more decorations.
