Having Fun And Creating Memories For Over 25 Years.

Gear up for an exciting season ahead ★★★★★.

My 7 year old grandson loved it. The few was excellent with children and very knowledgeable. They kept the kids busy and interested for the who,e trip. The pirate was a riot.

We did a 4th of July cruise with them and had a blast (pun intended)! Aside from an amazing, scenic cruise in Plymouth Harbor, we got great music and the best seat in the house for the fireworks. We also have nieces and nephews that have done their Pirate cruise and raved about it for months afterwards. Check out their tours and do one if you can.

This will be the highlight of our 3, 6 & 8 yr. old’s Grandchildren’s summer. What a fun time. Plenty of interaction from squirting the pirate on his little ship, to limbo, dancing & learning about lobsters & crabs. Crew was amazing. They really personalized this experience and made it lots of fun.

I work as a tour guide and have been on a Lobster Cruise 3 times this summer. Each trip was outstanding. Last week I had 6 young people in addition to senior citizens. Paul is so terrific with all ages. I highly recommend this trip to all ages.Spectacular time!

Take a day trip to Plymouth from Boston to visit the place where the Pilgrims landed! As one of the earliest English settlements in North America, Plymouth is an essential stop for any history lover. Get to know the Pilgrims, the Wampanoag who helped them, and learn what life was like in the New World. Plus, visit famous artifacts like Plymouth Rock and a replica of the Mayflower! Whether you want to dive deeper into American history, or simply want to stroll through a picturesque coastal town, a Plymouth walking tour is a must-do.

About the Tour

Our journey back in time begins at the Plymouth Visitor Center, where you can get acquainted with the town you’re about to explore. From there, you’ll stroll along the gorgeous waterfront and get a crash course in who the Pilgrims were, as well as how they managed to build a society so far away from anyone they knew.

The first major stop is a real treat: a replica of the Mayflower, on which the Pilgrims sailed from England to Massachusetts. Here, you’ll also get the scoop on the Mayflower passengers who weren’t Pilgrims–people who were called The Strangers.

After that, you’ll come to Plymouth’s most famous attraction: Plymouth Rock. According to legend, this is the spot where the Pilgrims disembarked to establish the colony of Plymouth. It’s got quite an exciting history behind it, all of which you’ll learn while admiring this timeless historical artifact.

Then, you’ll continue to the statue of Chief Massasoit and learn the true story of the alliance between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag tribe and the dramatic events that prompted the unusual friendship.

What You'll See

Plymouth visitors information.

Your tour of Plymouth begins at the Plymouth Visitors Information Center. From here, you'll walk through this picturesque and historic city, learning everything there is to know about the town's long history, from the early tribe to the Plymouth Rock and beyond. As you begin your journey, you'll get acquainted with just who the Pilgrims were, exactly, and how they set about establishing laws for their new society.

Mayflower II

The Mayflower II is an absolute Plymouth must-see. A painstakingly-constructed reproduction of the 17th-century Mayflower which carried the Pilgrims to America in 1620, this ship offers a whole new perspective on that journey. As you admire the craft, just try to imagine crossing an entire ocean in a wooden vessel like that!

Mayflower Society House

The Mayflower Society House is a beautifully preserved home once owned by the grandson of Edward Winslow, grandson of one of the original Mayflower passengers. Winslow's family helped to build Plymouth, but he threw away all that goodwill by siding with the British crown when revolution started brewing.

Plymouth Rock

Hands down the most popular attraction in Plymouth, Plymouth Rock hold tremendous symbolic and historic importance. It is considered to have marked the landing site where the Pilgrims disembarked to found Plymouth in 1620. Historians debate whether the common beliefs about it are accurate, and you'll hear all about that when you visit.

Chief Massasoit Statue

This bronze statue of Chief Massasoit honors an important and unusual friendship which helped the Pilgrims survive their first winter. When the Pilgrims first arrived, Massasoit needed an ally in his struggle with the nearby Narragansett tribe. The Pilgrims, likewise, needed help finding and growing food in their new home. The result was an unlikely, and sometimes uneasy, alliance between the two.

Brewster Gardens

Brewster Gardens is a park named for William Brewster, one of the original Mayflower passengers. It's also the site of the Town Brook, where the Pilgrims got their drinking water in the early days of the settlement.

Pilgrim Maiden Statue

The bronze Pilgrim Maiden statue by sculptor Henry Kitson was erected in 1922. It honors not one specific woman, but all the women who immigrated to this new land and helped to build a new life. Such statues are rare, and this is one of the only women Kitson ever sculpted.

Burial Hill Cemetery

Burial Hill Cemetery was established all the way back in the 1600s and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for good reason. More than a few of the Mayflower's original passengers have been buried here. So have other famous historic figures, including iconic patriots from the Revolutionary period.

Richard Sparrow House Inc

The Richard Sparrow House is the oldest surviving house in all of Plymouth. It was built around 1640 and has been painstakingly preserved. Even better, you can actually go inside! The house today functions as an art gallery and pottery studio.

The Plimoth Grist Mill/Conclusion

The Plimoth Grist Mill is a reconstruction of one of Plymouth's oldest structures, and it's actually still a functioning mill! The grist mill uses water power on the weekends to grind corn, and visitors can even buy fresh-ground corn from the site itself. Your tour concludes here, though there are plenty more optional stops throughout Plymouth for those who want to keep exploring.

Pilgrim Hall Museum

The Pilgrim Hall Museum at 75 Court Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts is the oldest public museum in the United States in continuous operation, having opened in 1824.

National Monument to the Forefathers

The Mayflower Pilgrims are remembered at the National Monument to the Forefathers, originally known as the Pilgrim Monument. It was dedicated on August 1, 1889, and it commemorates their principles as they came to be accepted by the majority of Americans. Experts agree that it tops the list of the largest granite structures everywhere.

Hedge House Museum

"The Plymouth Antiquarian House is a historic house museum in Plymouth, Massachusetts owned by the Plymouth Antiquarian Society. The house was built in 1809 for William Hammatt, a New England sea captain. The Hedges, a family of entrepreneurs, purchased the house in 1830 and lived there until 1919."

The Jenney Interpretive Centre

Exhibits in the Interpretive Centre focus on the Pilgrims, stories of their faith and values, the abolitionists and slavery, the family – the cornerstone of society.

Howland House

Located at 33 Sandwich Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts is the historic Jabez Howland House. It was in 1667 that Jabez Howland, whose parents John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley Howland sailed on the Mayflower, bought the original portion of this two-story wood-frame house from its builder, Jacob Mitchell.

Plymouth Long Beach

Long Beach is a barrier beach– a peninsula that serves as a barrier between the open ocean and the mainland coast.

Plimoth Patuxet Museums

Plymouth, Massachusetts is home to the Plimoth Patuxet Museum, a living history museum that has been open since 1947. In the 17th century, a group of English immigrants who would later be known as the Pilgrims established a colony in what is now known as Plymouth, Massachusetts.

  • GrandTour452506 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles Great tour guide for Lexington and Concord For us this was the best option to see and learn more about Lexington and Concord. We stayed in Dorchester so we had to find our way to one of the three meeting points in downtown Boston, but this wasn't a deal breaker as getting around on public transportation was easy. Richard was right on time to pick us up. His instructions to us beforehand were great. He let us know where to meet and what was in that area including a place inside to wait and places to eat in the area if we needed that. This was helpful. Once in the van he started giving us information about everything we were seeing. At this time we were just on the way to pick up another passenger. We ended up with 13 total in the tour which is another thing we like as it is a smaller group. Richard gave us information as we went. Not just about the Revolutionary War but about Boston history overall. This was a plus too. Learning about buildings, neighborhoods and the culture made this experience way better for us. As we made our way Richard talked about everything we were seeing. He answered the many questions well. He stopped in a couple of places that the big tour busses would just pass by as they were too big to get into. As it was raining he tried to get as close as possible to the stops. The overall tour was great. Having Richard as guide made it even better. Our biggest plus was again the information that Richard gave us about everything we drove past, not just Lexington and Concord! We will recommend this tour to anyone who asks. • baggage001 0 contributions 2.0 of 5 bubbles OKTour, but Could Be Great In our opinion, we had mixed reviews about this tour. Here was what we enjoyed: 1. We appreciated that they picked us up from our small hotel. Thanks! 2. They texted with recommendations for lunch that would handle our dietary concerns, which took away any concerns we had about where to eat. 3. Coach, our tour guide, had an easy going personality. He made jokes and handled Boston traffic with ease (people take traffic signals as mere suggestions here. We felt safe with Coach driving). 4. We didn't expect the drive through Cambridge, which was really informative. 5. It was a small group (only 7 total), so it felt really personal. We felt comfortable asking questions. 6. The Lexington stop was very informative. 7. We enjoyed learning about Louisa May Alcott (yes, I know it's not part of the battle, but it was interesting to us). 8. We had plenty of bathroom breaks. :) Here was what we were disappointed with... 1. We didn't get to go into any of the houses/museums. We got to peek in the windows of a tavern that was closed, but it would have been nice to get to go inside. Maybe we misunderstood the tour setup, but their website clearly states the tour covers all entrance fees to museums and sites. 2. Coach provided us a LOT of great information while he was driving, but it was overwhelming keeping all the names/facts straight. 3. We spent a lot of time in the tour van. When we did stop, we felt like we were rushed for time. There were historical markers, but we ended up having to take photos of them to read later. Overall, we're glad we went to see such historical sites, but hearing an info dump in a van with only like 4-5 stops made for a long day. Maybe if we had a map to follow along and a timeline, that would have been helpful. In addition, a directory of the people he discussed would have been appreciated. I'm glad I was a history major, or I would have been lost! For the price of taking a family, we could have rented a car and drove to the sites ourselves. Upon reflecting on the experience, we just didn't see the value add with taking a tour (if there was more than one person in the party) since our tour didn't get us into any museums/sites/houses. There were park rangers at the Concord stop, along with historical markers, to ask questions. And, there are tons of maps/books/websites to help, too. Read more Written October 11, 2023
  • RogerB578 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Great tour but very disappointed with tour guide Great trip but narrator didn't use mic so most of us couldn't hear what he said and he didn't even ask those in the van if they could hear what he was saying nor did he say anything to one individual who talked constantly. • 753tansyf 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles A Day in Cape Cod We had Coach for our tour guide and driver. Coach was friendly, nice, and informative. My favorite portion of the tour was the time we spent on the beach. (Sandy Neck Beach Park) I did think the tour moved at a slow pace. Our first stop was the Cape Cod Canal visitor center. As a traveler, the goal is to get to our destination. The drive to Cape Cod Canal visitor center should take about an hour. However, two stops were made on the way to Cape Cod Canal visitor center. This is a waste of time. The first stop was at a Mc Donald’s in Plymouth and the second stop was made at Market Basket. The Sandwich Glass Museum and Dexter’s Grist Mill were interesting and informative stopping points too in the town of Sandwich. Lunch at Marshland Restaurants was also a pleasant experience in that we got to chat with some of the locals. Read more Written July 15, 2023
  • April D 0 contributions 5.0 of 5 bubbles The lexicon of knowledge about Lexington and Concord! Being history buffs, we couldn't wait for our tour to Lexington and Concord. We lucked out and only had three other guests on the tour, so Bill, our excellent tour guide and van driver, was able to answer ALL our questions in great detail. We never felt rushed on the trip and were able to take our time at each of the stops to walk around and really get a feel for what happened there. We stopped for lunch at an Italian restaurant that served delicious food in HUGE quantities. If the tour stops there in the future, we recommend sharing a lunch. All in all, a GREAT day-long tour, worth every penny. Read more Written July 6, 2023

I was not looking forward to an all-day trip, but my family was. Richard made history come to life and was so interesting that the day flew by. I highly recommend this trip. THE #1 WHALE WATCHING COMPANY IN PLYMOUTH

The crew was entertaining and informative about what was in store for us. There was a coffee and snack area below us. We saw lots of whales, including 5 in a group! Trust Captain John to give you a great experience.

My fiance and I had the best time! Their naturalist, Sabrina, was incredibly resourceful and came around at these end to see if we'd had any questions. I would highly recommend Captain John's whale watching!

The whale watch was great! It was fun to see them breach and swim alongside the boat. Professional crew and great narration. Plenty of parking, restaurants, and shops nearby. Food is available for purchase onboard.

What an absolutely amazing trip! Exceeded all expectations. Assumed we'd see a few whales if we were lucky, but we literally saw hundreds. Saw a mom with her calf doing a flipper dance and jump out the water at the end!
