The lovely town of Monmouth is a great location for a golf tour as it is only an hour from Bristol, has numerous pubs and restaurants, and is surrounded by good quality golf courses. The courses were very different and in the case of Llandrindod the wind made it very challenging but were enjoyed by everyone. Hi Mark, Just thought I would drop you a quick if somewhat belated line to update you as to how our golf trip to Llandudno went last week. It went very well. The hotel as good. For a 3 star it did what it said on the tin. Rooms were clean and comfortable (although the shower/bathrooms were a bit small). The meals were of a good standard and the staff were all helpful and courteous. The 3 golf courses were superb. Obviously with Conwy that goes without saying but Maesdu and North Wales received rave revues from our party too. Everyone was pleasantly surprised and would go back again. The pro’s staff and members at all 3 clubs made us very welcome. I have already recommended the hotel, the golf clubs, the itinerary and Wales golf to a few people since our return. Thanks to yourself, Richard and Nicola for all your efforts 10/10. Hopefully we will return again in the not too distant future.

Dear Richard Many thanks for your recommendations to play Ashburnham, Pennard and Machynys. The golf and hotel were all a great success. The welcome we were given at Ashburnham and Pennard was brilliant and we were treated very well by all the staff. All 3 courses were in very very good condition with fast greens at Ashburnham, beautiful holes and views at Pennard and a test at Machynys. Of the four courses we rated Cradoc the best with Kington undoubtedly the most challenging but all were indeed very testing. In addition, the Greyhound Hotel in Builth did us proud. All the arrangements made by Wales Golf Holidays were great and everything was in place for us. The 3 courses were first class especially Conwy. The Hotel (Eryl Mor in Bangor) looked after us, the rooms were clean, comfy and warm, showers first class and the food excellent (and plenty of it too!!) I would definitely recommend the Eryl Mor. All three courses welcomed us - we had a very enjoyable round at all three and the accommodation (and breakfasts) at the Lincoln House was excellent. And Cardiff on a Friday and Saturday night jumps - makes me wish I was young again! Hi Richard Our trip to Wales was very successful, with all three courses played in perfect golfing weather. Langland Bay was probably the most enjoyable, and as expected, less difficult than Pennard! The Village Hotel was excellent for our purposes, and conveniently located. We also enjoyed the best Italian dinner for many years (and we have had a few!), at Topo Gigio's in Swansea - to be recommended to your clients should they ever ask! Good Morning Richard, The trip went like clockwork and the feedback from all of us is extremely positive. I have never been to Cardiff before but I (in fact all of us) absolutely loved it. Everybody was so friendly wherever we went. The hotel was excellent and met our needs exactly. In fact, two of my friends arrived well before me and were welcomed and given access to their rooms immediately when they were prepared to wait for me to arrive with the vouchers. Everyone praised me for the choice of courses but don’t worry I made sure that they knew they were your recommendation and I simply agreed with your choices. Everyone would be happy to play all of them again so that speaks volumes. They met the requirements I gave you exactly! So, in short, probably the most successful trip we have had either home or away. Definitely the best value. Hi Richard The trip was a great success. The hotel was superb, owners & staff absolutely lovely.. Evening dining was maybe "too good" for a bunch of golfers ( we did finish up eating in the Lion up the bank ) The restaurant was maybe more suited to couples - the food was obviously nice, but maybe somewhere I would have taken my wife: to be honest, I probably will later in the year: the hotel was that nice... Hi Richard Just a short note to say what a great time, great courses and great hotel. In World cup terms your company has scored a hatrick. Courses were great even if Machynys included the wind and rain on Saturday. Our hotel could not do enough for us and I can tell you that we do have some awkward members, I was up and around reception at 6pm Each day and coffee was bought to me on each occasion and no charge...... We were of course blessed with superb weather which we suspect was beyond your influence but all that you could influence was of no less quality. I am just reporting that we had a very successful and enjoyable tour down to the Gower and West Wales area. The weather was outstanding and all of the courses certainly intriguing. The hot and dry weather had naturally taken its toll on the fairways at Clyne, Pennard and Ashburnham and I know that the members there were hoping for some rain shortly. Machynys was naturally wet and that certainly caused us some problems with the lost ball count probably being the highest of all of our 23 tours! Nevertheless, always a challenge and good fun. The Stradey Park Hotel was also a great place to stay and so I thank you once again for your organisation – everything ran smoothly and I hope that I will be in contact again next year to look at some other venues to maintain our South Walian contacts. The Italian contingent were especially complimentary about the way we arrange such outings which was nice to hear. The cooked breakfast as opposed to buffet style was also a positive. All 4 golf courses we're challenging in their own way and I'm sure we'll be visiting again. Either as a society or individually. I would like to thank Mark and the boys from Wales Golf Holidays for are three day trip to North Wales. We played Nefyn stunning views from every hole the point especially.Pwllheli lovely mix of links and parkland made to feel very welcome by all at the club. Royal st Davids fantastic golf course very challenging, booked golf 36 holes and buggy for the day. Finished about 3.30 and was then told as we had paid for a days golf and buggy we could play as much as we liked so not being rude played another 18, fantastic club, course and staff. Stayed in b/b in Criccieth Plas Isa Hotel Anna and Ian very good hosts, food as good as you could eat anywhere, and i mean anywhere, you will not be disappointed if you stay here. Hi Richard, The trip went really well and we had wonderful weather which was warm enough to be in shirt sleeves and no rain until we got into the clubhouse at Woodlake Park on the third day and then we had a storm of biblical proportions! The Angel was up to its usual good standard of comfort and good food , wine and beer all of which helped restore our aching  and weary bodies.  We greatly enjoyed the golf although I have to admit that Monmouth and Woodlake were a bit tough as we have all got that bit older making it almost too much of a challenge.  By far the best was the Monmouthshire which was in superb condition with fairways that ran forever and fast greens.  That is definitely on the list for another time. I am not organising next year's tour and we are likely to visit the South West then.  No doubt Wales will be firmly on the agenda again after that and you will be in the frame again to help with that. Good Afternoon A massive thank you to everybody at Wales Golf Holidays, we have just returned from our trip and everybody agreed it was on of the best weekends we have had, That is down to the courses we played Swansea Bay, Derllys Court golf club and last was Machynys golf club were we were treated to a Sunday roast. A special Thanks to Mark who helped me out when Carmarthen golf club was closed on the Saturday due to fog, he was on his weekend break, but took time to find a replacement course for us to play in the space of 15 minutes.   And last the hotel Stradey park hotel, the staff and food were excellent. Hello Richard, We had a great time in Caernarvon last week the Celtic Royal catered for all our needs and more, all the courses we played from Abergele, Porthmadoc, Henllys hall and Bull bay were a pleasure to play all in top condition great week, but I never thought we would complain about the weather (tongue in cheek) on the Tuesday we played Porthmadog, a very good links, and it was 30 degrees with not a bit of breeze coming off the sea, we had 3 golfers never finished the round they went back to the clubhouse to take on some liquid, another great week with Wales Golf Holidays. Good morning Richard Once again thank you for organising the weekend to St Pierre for our society. As you can see we all had a great time and it was the first time we have ever had a 'hole in one' at one of our events!! Greetings Having just returned from our three day Golf Tour around Swansea, I write on behalf of all our small Golf party to thank you, as in previous years, for your superb arrangements for the 'Tour' The Hotel was extremely good and the three Courses at Neath, the Gower and Swansea Bay gave us variety and plenty of challenges. It was unfortunate that the Gower are having problems with their Greens (as are some of those at Swansea Bay) but this did not stop any of our enjoyment. All your administration was first class and  all went totally according to plan. Again, as in previous years, I would be extremely grateful if you would pass on our sincere thanks to all the Officials, Members, Staff and Professionals (and those working in the Pro Shops) at the 3 Courses for their accommodation of our needs and for making us extremely welcome. Hi Ian, I write to thank you ALL at the Wales Golf Holiday Company for organising of our 2016 Golf Tour. This is the eighth Tour you have organised for us and you continue to achieve remarkable cost-effectiveness with outstanding quality an efficiency. On your recommendation, this year we played three courses new to us and each achieved nothing but praise from the members of the Tour. WOODLAKE PARK is a true gem in excellent condition, the subtly undulating Greens protecting its Yardage, making it a true test for all Handicap levels. SWANSEA BAY provided a contrast with the mixture of Links and Parkland Golf and KNOWLE, whilst similar to Woodlake, provided different challenges. Again the course was in perfect condition. We played Neath last year, an old gem, totally different to the aforementioned courses and again this year it was spectacular and difficult in the strong wind. The Village Hotel remains our favourite base as it cannot be bettered in terms of welcome, facilities and cost. Once again, thank you all for providing us with another memorable Golf Tour. I will be in touch soon to ask you to organise our 2017 Tour.

We ate at Poachers on the first night and enjoyed it that much we returned for the second night.  The food there is very good. As usual the standard of golf did not quite match up to the quality of the courses.  Still you can’t have everything. Already looking forward to our Autumn trip.

Good evening, The tour you organised for us to North Wales last weekend was absolutely brilliant. Everyone in our party of 21 was completely positive about the whole experience. Nefyn exceeded our expectations - the scenery, the course and lucky for us the weather was stunning. The professional was so friendly and welcoming -allowing us to play extra holes because we were early and recommending the detour to the pub below the 6th hole on the Old Course! Nefyn is the best course we have played (and Aberdovey took some beating!) The Nanhoron Arms was an excellent venue. A warm welcome, very comfortable rooms and excellent food. All the staff were extremely friendly and went out their way to make our stay a memorable one. Porthmadog golf club on the second day was a hard act to follow. The front 9 was Ok with perhaps 2 or 3 good holes but the back 9 was a total contrast and thoroughly enjoyable and great test of golf. The views on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th were breathtaking! Overall would I recommend this tour tour to others - well the answer is I already have! Fantastic. I will be in touch regarding future tours. Thank you so much on behalf of 21 very happy golfers.

Richard You arranged a overnight stay and a couple of days golf 9th & 10th May, the golf was good  and for the most part the weather played it's part, but the thing our party talked about most was the hotel, originally i asked for the Anglesey Arms in Menai Bridge and you told me it was unavailable but as an alternative you suggeat the Victoria Hotel Menai Bridge, what a hotel, brilliant, no fault anywhere, the rooms were clean and tidy, the food was excellent and staff, we couldn't stop talking about how friendly and helpfull the staff where, nothing was too much trouble even down to bring in the special board fron the main entrance to the bar for us to read prior to ordering our evening meal (the board was nearly as tall as the young lady ! ) Thank you for recommending this hotel.

Ian A short note to let you know how much we all enjoyed our Golf Break. Every club made us feel welcome and the whole itinerary went like clock work. Wouldn't hesitate to use your Company again. We may do something again at the same time next year. I'll be in touch when suitable. Thanks again.

Just a short note to thank you for your efforts on our behalf.

The arrangements that you made were perfect and everything went seamlessly. The courses were all good. Royal St Davids was a perfect links, and played in warm sunshine irrespective of what the weather forecast predicted, and we ended up in shirt sleeves. Pwllheli and Porthmadog were charming and I enjoyed the mix of parkland, heath and links. Porthmadog on the last day saw the only rain of the weekend, and even that stopped by hole 9. Which leaves Nefyn! We have all played golf in other countries, in Europe, America, Asia and Australia and none of us have ever seen anything like Nefyn. It was truly wonderful, the courses – we played all three 9 holes, including the Point and the old course, but the first 9 holes were truly spectacular! Driving off the first to a marker pole that just shows the sea behind it, to then playing along the cliff top was an experience to be repeated as many times as possible.

The Bron Eifion Hotel and its’ staff was also a delight, the food was good and I personally did not know that so many different types of Gin existed, you would need to stay for many weeks to sample them all.

A great trip, thoroughly enjoyed and one we all would like to repeat, just to play Nefyn again if nowhere else.

Hi Ian, Thanks for the organisation once again an excellent itinerary. Nefyn opened the peninsular on the Saturday so we could 'enjoy' the experience, well some of us anyway. We found the Hotel very obliging and the food was excellent and cheap! Nothing more needs to be said about the other two courses, they were excellent however St Davids has a lot of winter damage and two greens are out of play and in a serious condition, it didn't detract from the challenge however and our low handicappers really came to the fore. Hopefully do it all over again next year, cheers.

Mark Just a quick thanks for sorting out the issues today. The 8 who played at Nefyn had a great (if slightly breezy ) day with no rain. The course was great and so were the staff. Porthmadog was excellent with the Vice Captain turning up see us off and the Pro doing a great job of making sure it was a good day. Abersoch was OK but far less welcoming and the holes from 13 on ward were very poor. All of the guys had a great time and Ian and Anna provided excellent service Regards

Hi Ian Just a short note to say that last week's golf break in North Wales was excellent. Everything went like clockwork and the weather was perfect. I am glad that we didn't get the rooms in the Royal Sportsman Hotel as the Plas Isa was superb. Friendly owners, big rooms with sea views and an early big breakfast on the Sunday. We played at the Llanymynech Golf Club on the way home on the Sunday afternoon which is also first rate.

Just to say what a wonderful time the Lilleshall Ladies had at Conway. The hotel was outstanding, service excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The Llandudno course was tough (it was very windy) and I doubt many of us would want to play it again but it was a challenge. Conway course was lovely. Thanks for all your help, I feel sure you will hear from us again for a similar experience.

I been a bit slow in getting back to you regarding our trip to North Wales in May!

We had a wonderful weekend. The courses were fantastic, albeit very testing, in the windy conditions. We were made to feel very welcome at both Prestatyn and North Wales I have had no hesitation in recommending them to fellow golfers. The Kinmel Hotel was a good base and the staff there were particularly helpful and pleasant - although the number of us staying there did seem to overload their electricity system!!!

Overall a great weekend and thank you for your planning and organisation.

I am already planning ahead and would like to arrange a weekend, once again in May, to include Nefyn (to include the pennisula holes) and perhaps Portmadoc. I am not sure how far advanced such a booking needs to be made but perhaps you could advise me and/or give me some idea of cost.

We returned yesterday from our days around Monmouth and I write to say how much the organisation was appreciated. The three courses were greatly enjoyed, not least for the challenges they presented. Radnor Parc was struggling with a broken pump that effected the greens but they still played true; the friendliness of members and staff was a real bonus.

We enjoyed the Hotel (The Beaufort Arms) although two of us found 2ft 6ins beds a little difficult; the others had standard sizes or did not notice! We chose to eat there on the two evenings as the food and wine more than met our needs.

So, thank you for your organisation on our behalf. I will certainly come to you first if we are looking to play in Wales again in the future.

Just to let you know that despite the best efforts of the weather to spoil it for us, we had a very enjoyable couple of days. Royal St David's lived up to its reputation and the back nine at Porthmadog was wonderful too. In light of the weather forecast and because one of our number had a 5 hour drive to London, we decided to play nine holes only yesterday and the professional at Porthmadog kindly allowed us to play the back nine, which our research showed receives all the well-deserved plaudits - wonderful views and great holes. We will definitely be returning to play both again.

The accommodation at Castle Cottages was perfect for our needs and dinner superb.

All went smoothly, so thanks again for your help.

Many thanks for organising our very successful Golf Tour of Cardiff. We enjoyed all the courses and your easy organisation made my job as Tour Manager very simple indeed. Everything ran like clockwork, never a hiccup and your supportive role, where one of our members had to drop out because of a serious family issue, was much appreciated. The hotel was great, plenty of parking and allowed very easy access to courses within and outside the city. The only thing that could be improved upon was the ability to lessen the wind speed at Southerndown from 60mph to something less challenging, I think we caught the hurricane there! The staff at Whitchurch fell about laughing when they heard we were playing there on "windy" Tuesday!

I write to inform you that we had an excellent trip to Monmouth. After a wet morning on the 2nd June, the rain stopped as our first match proceded down the first fairway at St.Pierre. It was windy but not too bad.The greens were a bit slow following the previous 24 hours of heavy rain. However, one of our members managed 35 stableford points so the greens were not a problem to him.

The Monmouthshire and Rolls were in magnificent condition and prolonged sunshine made it a pleasure to play there. Our accomodation at the Riverside was fine and well positioned. The breakfast and service could not be faulted and the staff were friendly and accomodating.

I can assure you that I have praised Wales Golf Holidays to our members and all are very grateful for the arrangements you have made at reasonable costs. We look forward to next year's suggestions but could possibly return to Monmouth to play Rolls and two other courses en route to and from Swansea.

Just a note to pass on thanks for our recent weekend spent on Anglesey which was enjoyed by all and as ever went like clockwork.

The courses were generally excellent, helped by the fact that despite the forecasts saying otherwise, we didn't even get slightly damp although Conway was seriously windy and a real test.

Holyhead - the personal favourite of all 4 of us. great layout, superb condition and a lovely welcome. we did remark that some of the green - tee directions could have been better.

Bull Bay - very similar although a few more blind shots. Again great condition and lovely views

Hotel - great location. The room I shared was fine but our other room was felt to be a bit small. Great drinks/beers range.

All in all, great value and we shall certainly be recommending you again.

A short email to thank you all for, yet another, superb Golf Break that you organised on our behalf for earlier this week.

The 3 Courses were excellent and the welcome we received from all personnel at the Clubs was much appreciated. I shall be wrting to the Secretary's at each of them over the weekend but, in your next dealings with Wenvoe, Llanishen and Radyr, if you would like to pass on our thanks, I would be very grateful.

As we relaxed on the Patio on the last day at Radyr, the soundings from the Group was that most would be delighted to have another Tour next year. Not sure where since we have now done Cardiff, the Mumbles, North Wales, Anglesey and Monmouth and those residing in Tenby like to go further afield for the break, Given all the toing and froing this year which sent my Blood Pressure off the scale at times ( if not yours), and the ages of the Group, we might be better booking later rather than earlier as in previous years. However, I will consult and be in touch. If you have any suggestions for a good three day break that I could put to the Team,for consideration please let me know.

Indeed, our only constructive feedback would be the absence of distance markers generally and signs to help navigate one from green to the next tee - minor points. Our accommodation and evening meals at Norton House were also excellent with Alan and his team very switched on in terms of how to look after their guests.

Everything was absolutely fantastic and we loved playing P and K and Royal Porthcawl the weather added to the experience and was a lot better than we were expecting. The reception we received at Royal Porthcawl was great, never been to such a friendly golf club from the members we met on the course to the staff in the bar, people could not have been more friendly and happy to see us.

It already has been several weeks ago when we returned from our Golf holiday in Wales. We have had a great time playing golf at the beautiful courses of Wales. The Dragon was good and we had a great time. On behave of my fellow golfer I would like to thank you and your colleagues form making this trip worthwhile. Royal Porthcawl was really stunning. Pure links golf with some wind and showers with it. Tenby and Ashburnham also were astonishing places to play. We really enjoyed our trip. Thank you for that.

The weekend went well despite getting a little wet at Maesdu, but still a great course, and the day at Pennant Park was warm and sunny. It's a course of two halves, the front nine being fairly straightforward with no particular interest but the back nine is completely different and more challenging with lovely views over the coast. The St Georges hotel was up to it's usual high standard.

Everything was well organised as on previous occasions and once again thank you for your excellent service.

A quick note to thank you all for yet another professionally organised Golf Tour that provided such excellent value for money.

The Village Hotel Swansea, provides superb accommodation and is a great base from which to travel to local Clubs and the amenities of Swansea.

Unfortunately the weather was not on our side and we could not see the spectacular views from Clyne. Tenby was far too difficult for most of us, especially on our first visit. The Jewel in the Crown was (again) The Kendleshire which I can recommend to Golfers of any level of competence. Superb holes in superb condition.

Hopefully this year has restarted our Tour and I expect to contact you again towards the end of this year.

The guys were really impressed with Cardiff GC, I personally thought the views at Woodlake Park were stunning and Creigaiu was also excellent with a fantastic meal that finished our weekend of greatly!

Just to let you know that I and my two boys were really happy with our golf break in Wales last weekend.

St Pierre was a great course even though the conditions were not at their best given the early season but Rolls of Monmouth on the other hand was fantastic! We were so happy that we had the opportunity to play two rounds there. Fabulous course and very idyllic scenery. We really liked that one! Dewstove was in comparison not up to standards with the other two apart from some spectacular holes but that we had understood in advance.

Monmouth town was also a gem! We truly enjoyed walking around the town and visiting some of the very nice restaurants and bars.

Anyway, it is always great to be in Wales and play some golf!

We will certainly be back.

Just to thank you for the package you put together for my party on 8-10 March. The arrangements worked perfectly and the reception at Royal St Davids Dormy was most friendly and efficient. Magnificent breakfasts!!

Weather could have been warmer!!! But we had 3 excellent and challenging rounds. Courses all in good condition for the time of year. I would say that the old course at Nefyn, along the peninsula, (our choice on the day), was spectacular but probably best avoided in peak flow along the public footpath!

I just wanted to take a moment to drop you an email to say what a fantastic break we had at The Vale Resort and Celtic Manor from Sunday 24th to Tuesday 26th March. Despite leaving the Midlands in thick snow on the Sunday morning we couldn't believe our luck when we found we'd booked the only place in the country that wasn't white or wet!! Despite the freezing cold wind we couldn't have had a better trip. The Vale was perfect from start to finish. Two excellent courses (I will definitely be back to play the Wales National in the summer), friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, phenomenal food and spacious well appointed bedrooms. Stopping to play the Roman Road at Celtic Manor on the way home was the cherry on the cake and we really couldn't have asked for more.

I'd like to thank the company for all your help and support arranging the break at an excellent price. I have never dealt with such an organised and helpful company and would whole-heartedly recommend you to friends, family and colleagues. Should I organise a golf break in Wales again, I will not look anywhere else.

Just thought I would drop you a quick note with some feedback on our recent trip to Cardiff with yourselves. We visited on 9th/10th/11th Sept staying at The Village and playing Southerndown, Wales National and Monmouthshire -we were a group of twelve booked in my name Overall we had a really good weekend one of the best- we have been doing this for the last 11 years so thanks. Hotel was excellent, Southerndown quirky golf but very good and the staff were great.

Well where to begin firstly we were blessed with glorious weather so we were off on a good footing, but enough of that, the ease of booking our trip with you I cannot recommend more highly the courses you booked for us and the hotel all lent to a most enjoyable trip.

One major factor with booking with your company is that whenever you phone you speak to someone almost straight away and any concerns or queries are dealt with wit the upmost efficiency.

Just a note to thank you for as splendid weekend's golf, The Rolls was, well The Rolls, Alice Springs as welcoming as they could be and The Monmouthshire Golf Club was a revelation, so much so that we were talking of going back next year when we came off the course!!

After 24 hours of reportedly torrential rain the course only opened at 10am as we drove through the gates but after a brief chat in The Pro Shop we were off to what turned into a most enjoyable round of golf.

I will be in touch as soon as I have confirmation from the players and will probably ask you to have a look at putting together something with The Monmouthshire Golf Club , and possibly The Rolls on Saturday and Sunday, with one other on Friday or Monday, around the last weekend in September again.

Just returned from the golfing break you organised for us, all went very well including the weather. The Hotel was fine just what we wanted, very clean and welcoming, the staff also were very helpful and friendly.

The arrangements made for us at the various golf clubs all fell into place exactly as requested, and we saw no evidence of any disruptive course maintenance on any of the courses, which was a big relief, we've had some very bad experiences in the past, buggies etc were at our disposal.

My friends, all from different parts of the UK were very impressed and experienced for the first time 3 welsh golf courses all in excellent condition, a few a my friends have asked for your details which I was happy to provide them with.

I just wanted to drop you a message regarding the recent trip we made. Everything went fantastically well including unbelievable weather, the courses were tough, challenging but most enjoyable with stunning surroundings. Both clubs offered us a warm welcome which made a nice change from some venues. The hotels were basic but ideal for a golf trip & we wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to a golf group. I'd also like to add that the advice, knowledge & service from The Wales Golf Holiday Company was first class even when we needed to make a late change to our booking, I will definitely recommend & use them in the future.

Many thanks for your assistance in organising this weekend. Everyone had a brilliant time and were blown away by the quality and scenery provided by each course we played. We received a warm welcome at all 3 courses and the hotel was great. The weather was fantastic with no rain at all for all 3 days, how you managed to book that I have no idea as it seemed to be raining all over the rest of the UK! Nefyn was universally agreed to be the best and most picturesque course any of us had ever played, absolutely stunning (and my own personal highlight was an eagle 2 at SI 1 out by the lookout tower holing my pitch from 120 yards out, never happen again).

I would just like to say a big thank you for organising our trip that was based in Swansea this past weekend. To a man my party of 23 had a great time. The mix of courses you recommended gave us a different type of challenge on each of the three days of our annual 54 hole competition. The Vale Resort Lake Course and The Gower G.C. were very good but the Machynys Peninsula was exceptional and many of my party have stated their intention to return to play it again. We all enjoyed our stay at the Dragon Hotel where the concensus view was that it was tremendous value

Our visit to North Wales was a great success> The Plas Isa Hotel, Criccieth made my Party most welcome, the rooms and dining were excellent. Just a line to thank you for all the arrangements made by you for our golf tour in Monmouth, from which we have just returned. The hospitality shown by everyone we met was first class to ensure our brief stay in Wales was a pleasant one. The proprietors of the Punch House Hotel were very accommodating and helpful from the moment we arrived on the wednesday lunch time until we departed on the friday after breakfast. The rooms were all very clean and tidy and excellent service was provided in the bar and restaurant areas. Also, the two courses we visited, Monmouth GC and The Rolls of Monmouth were in excellent condition and the very friendly welcome we received at both courses was very impressive indeed.

Thank you for organising the mini golf break. It has taken me a week to recover from having a 10 on my score card for the first time in years! It was one of those pot bunkers at Porthcawl. The Bear Hotel had friendly staff and was a lovely nights rest. I have no doubt you will be hearing from me again. You gave me and my golf partner two great contrasting courses..

We have just returned from our golfing weekend in Newport. I just wanted to write and say what a wonderful time we had staying at the Newport Hilton, a very nice and friendly hotel with lots of facilities. The 'golfers' had a great time at the Celtic Manor, finding Wentwood Hills VERY challenging! What a beautiful setting and well run golf course. We thought the organisation of our weekend was second to none, with everything going like clockwork and would like to pass on our congratulations to Welsh Golfing Holidays, who we will certainly use in the future.

The greens are magnificent as you would expect but they seem to have been dropped in to the natural dunescape. Good shots are well rewarded but being less than accurate with your approach shots will find you on the banks of the dunes with a tricky up and down.

Royal Lytham & St Annes – British Open Host 11 times

One of the toughest driving courses I have ever had the privilege to play! Formidable fairway bunkers truly the slightly off line tee shot. This is a golf course where you need to plot your way around, very often opting for the shorter club from the tee to avoid the bottle necks. World class “old greens” which as you walk on you feel the history and footsteps that have walked before you. One of the friendliest and welcoming clubhouses of all the Open venues, Royal Lytham is a must visit on your trip to North West England.

Royal Liverpool Golf Club – British Open Host 12 times

Recently returned to the Open Rota in 2014, the course plays out over the Hoylake flats of the Wirral estuary. The course features plenty of tall wispy fescues which frame the fairways of this gently undulating land. With several holes playing along the estuary the wind plays a major part in the challenge presented by Royal Liverpool.  The history and memorabilia on display in the clubhouse is worth a visit on its own.

The History in these clubs is nothing short of spectacular, and the challenge presented by the courses is second to none.

Arrive at Manchester or a London airport, drive to Harlech for three nights at Y Branwen Hotel. The drive will take you through the spectacular Snowdonia National Park to the North West coast.

Play the championship links of Royal St David’s , just five minutes from your hotel.

Play the cliff top course at Nefyn , sometimes known as the ‘Pebble Beach’ of Wales. You can visit the famous Portmerion village and several other places of interest.

Drive south down the coast for about an hour and play the traditional links at Aberdovey . After golf continue south to the Penally Abbey hotel at Tenby for 2 nights.

Play Tenby , a famous links, the oldest in Wales. Tenby is a fascinating ancient walled town with elegant Georgian terraces and a pretty, partly medieval.

Drive to Porthcawl and play the championship links Royal Porthcawl often ranked # 1 in Wales. After golf drive to the Royal Hotel in Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, for two nights.

Play the 2010 course at Celtic Manor , a great experience playing this course which was the venue for the Ryder Cup in October 2010.
