Hemos hecho un montón de otros viajes y ella fue con diferencia la persona más agradable, creativa, divertida y encantadora, con mucha experiencia y una capacidad maravillosa para compartir sus conocimientos con nosotros. Recomiendo encarecidamente este viaje a cualquiera que quiera divertirse y conocer mucha cultura en un solo viaje. Me encantó que el grupo fuera de sólo 10 personas, nos dio la oportunidad de conocer a todo el mundo y no hubo división en el grupo ni demasiada gente.

Esta excursión estuvo repleta de actividades con un grupo estupendo de personas y un guía turístico increíblemente informado y divertido. Superó mis expectativas en cuanto a aprendizaje y estuvo muy bien organizado y estructurado.

Esta excursión fue INCREÍBLE. Daniel, nuestro guía, era un gran conocedor de todos los lugares mayas que visitamos. Kevin fue un guía excelente. Los hoteles de todos los centros eran muy buenos, excepto el de Puerto Vallarta. Este hotel estaba en una zona muy ruidosa de la ciudad. El tiempo en la ciudad de México requiere un ajuste, por ejemplo, un breve recorrido por la ciudad sería útil.

Itinerario perfecto. Nuestra guía, Karla, rebosaba entusiasmo. Los hoteles eran estupendos.

Nathan es un excelente líder y guía turístico. Nada fue demasiado problema, siempre servicial y siempre alegre. Además de las cosas en el itinerario nos llevó a muchos bares y restaurantes interesantes, y su extenso conocimiento de México siempre fue interesante. Añadió mucho al disfrute de nuestro viaje. Los hoteles eran variables. En particular, la habitación en la segunda en Oaxaca no estaba a la altura de los estándares. Siempre miro antes de reservar para ver cómo es el alojamiento. Su hotel sugerido tiene un tamaño de habitación de 30m2, la nuestra era de 12m2. Tenía una pequeña cama doble en lugar de una gran cama doble o dos dobles, sin zona de estar y sin cafetera, que su hotel sugería tenía. Todos podemos mirar en línea y ver el tamaño y costo de las habitaciones, apenas $20 a $30 más para las habitaciones más grandes. Todo lo que tenías que hacer era reservar las habitaciones más grandes con máquinas de café, y con lo que cobrabas por unas vacaciones peregrinas eso es lo que deberías haber hecho. El hotel era en sí mismo encantador y en una buena ubicación, pero la habitación totalmente inadecuada. El baño era tan pequeño que si pones una toalla sobre el toallero se cubría el rollo del inodoro! Nathan contactó con la compañía al respecto, pero no pudimos mudarnos de habitaciones hasta la segunda noche allí. Muy pobre de Peregrine. El vuelo desde Oaxaca debería haber sido al mediodía y esta fue una de las razones por las que reservé este tour en particular, para evitar un largo día de viaje. En su lugar, tuvimos una salida a las 6 de la mañana. Disfrutamos de todas las visitas «familiares» en particular la elaboración de velas. Tuvimos un muy buen conductor.

La ruta y la duración de la excursión por el hermoso Chiapas fueron perfectas para nosotros. La combinación de naturaleza y cultura fue óptima. Die Hotels war bis auf eine Ausnahme (Palenque) gut, das Frühstück überall sehr gut. Der Comfort des Minibusses war ausbaufähig. Con un mayor tamaño, sólo hay una plaza de asiento, lo que es un problema, sobre todo en los tramos más largos y largos. Die Tourguides und Fahrer waren allesamt äußerst kompetent und freundlich. Insbesondere Hector und Francisco, die uns über mehrere Tage begleitet haben, haben die Reise zu etwas besonderem gemacht. Auch, weil sie uns bei gesundheitlichen Problemen beratschlagt haben. Este viaje es a partes iguales belleza natural y antigua historia/ruinas. Las cascadas y los lagos eran preciosos. Serían lugares estupendos para pasar un rato en el agua. Si nunca has visto las ruinas de Myan, son impresionantes. Debes saber que no es una excursión en la que te acompañe un guía. Cada día te acompañará un guía, un conductor y un grupo de personas diferentes. Se habla inglés y español, por lo que es posible que no puedas comunicarte eficazmente con tus compañeros de viaje. Sólo bebimos agua que compramos y aun así muchos enfermamos. Creo que lo que fallaba eran los sitios para comer al borde de la carretera. Cuando tienes la venganza de Moctezuma es difícil disfrutar de un suspiro que requiera caminar bajo el sol abrasador sin un retrete a la vista. Teníamos un horario de recogida a las 3:30, a las 5:30 y dos a las 6:30. Nuestro conductor siempre llegaba entre 20 y 35 minutos tarde. Estas no son unas vacaciones tranquilas. Algunos de los lugares que visitamos requerían una caminata vigorosa por terreno irregular. Algunos de los huéspedes tuvieron dificultades.

A pesar de las dificultades lingüísticas, el viaje superó mis expectativas. Los guías eran buenos y considerados y los conductores tenían mucha experiencia. Además, creo que la gente hizo que la excursión fuera especialmente alegre. Todos nos llevábamos muy bien y nos ayudábamos mucho los unos a los otros: gente de todos los rincones del mundo.

El recorrido fue bueno en general, pero ten en cuenta que este recorrido está formado por una serie de contratistas independientes. Algunos sólo hacen los traslados, otros te guían por lugares importantes y otros hacen ambas cosas. Te encuentras con diferentes guías y pasajeros a lo largo del viaje. El itinerario está "sujeto a cambios" y cambia, aunque no suelen ser buenos. Los numerosos vales que recibes después de pagar dictan el itinerario final. Por ejemplo: el traslado a Campeche que "incluye un breve recorrido por la ciudad" acabó siendo sólo un traslado con un conductor que no hablaba inglés sin ningún recorrido por la ciudad. La "comida incluida" del primer día no estaba incluida. Cosas por el estilo. No es gran cosa, pero tenlo en cuenta. En el lado positivo, los hoteles eran estupendos. Todos estaban situados en el centro y eran de buena calidad, así que estuvo bien.

Lo pasamos muy bien en México. Fue un viaje corto, pero aun así aprendimos mucho sobre la cultura azteca y pudimos ver la parte antigua de Ciudad de México.

Mi mujer y yo, junto con tres amigos, nos apuntamos al viaje a México de Indus Travel. El viaje total de 12 días a la Cultura Maya nos dio realmente la oportunidad de conocer a fondo las culturas indígenas de México. Hemos visto muchas ruinas y pirámides, cada una de ellas tiene representaciones diferentes y puede contar la historia de lo que ocurría en aquella época. También tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar a las familias indígenas para experimentar la verdadera vida de los mexicanos en la zona rural. Las vistas de los volcanes, pueblos y cañones también son inolvidables. Se trata de un grupo pequeño con un total de 7 turistas, nuestro conductor/guía turístico es un guía muy experimentado, José nos explicó la historia en secuencia de acontecimientos dentro y fuera. Sobre todo, con 2500 km de conducción, nos hizo sentir seguros con sus habilidades. En resumen, este viaje merece más de 5 estrellas. Me sorprendió mucho que Indus Travel asignara una coordinadora de viajes dedicada a nuestro grupo, Kathlene nos ayudó mucho a organizar todo el viaje, sus rápidas respuestas hicieron que no nos preocupáramos.

Disfrutamos mucho del Indo Tour, «México Mágico». Nos referimos a este tour como, «Ver el Real México «, no lo que se le permite ver mientras se aloja en un todo incluido. Nuestro recorrido abarcó la conducción de unos 2600 km desde la Ciudad de México hasta Cancún. Pusimos presenciar y experimentar la Ciudad de México, 6 ciudades antiguas (aztecas, zapotecas mayas y otras), 5 pueblos coloniales, 3 parques naturales (incluyendo un paseo en barco a través de un cañón de río y presenciar la cascada más alta de México). El paisaje a lo largo del camino fue impresionante mientras zigzagueamos a través de las montañas de la Sierra y nos sentamos asombrados de nuestro viaje a lo largo del Golfo de México. Viajamos con otra pareja en una camioneta Toyota de ocho plazas, así que teníamos mucho espacio para estar cómodos. Aunque las carreteras eran ventosas, el sistema de carreteras a lo largo de México es excelente- carreteras suaves a lo largo del camino. Nuestro conductor también fue nuestro guía. Benjamin manejó ambas responsabilidades como profesional. Sus habilidades inglesas eran implacables, así como su conocimiento histórico. Nuestro recorrido también fue realzado por la personalidad de Benjamin. Todos disfrutamos de su maravilloso sentido del humor y de sus habilidades narrativas. Todos los hoteles eran instalaciones de 4 o 5 estrellas y estaban en general céntrico en todas las ciudades. Esto hace que sea fácil caminar a punto de recorrer por nuestra cuenta. Siempre nos sentimos seguros en todos los lugares. Los desayunos estaban en los hoteles, pero también comíamos en muchos restaurantes locales; establecimientos que atienden a la población local. Al viajar en diciembre, las temperaturas durante el día variaban desde los adolescentes de hasta mediados de los años 20 C. Siempre se enfriaba por la noche. Ambas temperaturas eran perfectas para viajar. Por supuesto, nuestra furgoneta tenía aire acondicionado por lo que el viaje en furgoneta siempre fue cómodo. Si te gusta estar en movimiento, ver lugares históricos interesantes junto con paisajes maravillosos... entonces este tour es para ti. Para un servicio maravilloso en Indus Travel le recomendamos encarecidamente que se encargue de una Rachel. Ella es muy reflexiva y agradable y ve que todas sus preguntas son respondidas de manera rápida y profesional. Recomendamos encarecidamente este tour.

El lugar es bueno por sí mismo, ¡pero la gestión de la visita no merece la pena reservarla a través de la visita guiada! Reservé el viaje por Navidad y Año Nuevo antes de las largas vacaciones con mi mujer. Como muestra que aún está disponible, reservé una fecha de viaje anterior para una semana. Después, hay que confirmar el recorrido y esperar una respuesta al itinerario. Al principio, el personal me dijo que recibiría el itinerario en 1-2 días, pero lo recibí al cabo de 4 días con muchas modificaciones inesperadas. En primer lugar, el precio de la entrada había aumentado con respecto a lo que habían publicado. En segundo lugar, la entrada a Chichén Itzá no estaba incluida (44 $/pp). Al principio, no indicaban que tuviera que pagarla. Luego, en la fecha de salida, el personal simplemente me envió un mensaje de texto diciendo que no tenían ningún compañero que nos recogiera del aeropuerto al hotel. Fue un cambio de un minuto, pero el personal se portó muy bien intentando reembolsarme 50$ por la tarifa del taxi. . Luego, cuando llegamos al hotel, éste no tenía una habitación queen/king para nosotros. Así que me puse en contacto con la agente, pero no pudo ayudarnos en nada al respecto aunque dijo que nos había reservado la cama de matrimonio. . Los billetes de autobus se reservan a diario, y tambien nos hizo retrasar el viaje 2 horas, ya que no habia suficientes plazas para el autobus en el horario previsto en el itinerario. . El personal también me dio un nombre equivocado para mi primer billete de autobús. Por suerte, el personal del autobús no se lo tomó en serio. El personal del tour está dispuesto a ayudar si ocurre algo en esa situación. Eso está muy bien, pero no tener un billete equivocado al principio es mejor. . Fue difícil conectar con el personal, sobre todo por la mañana (8-9 h). . Algunas tasas adicionales no se indican en el itinerario. Y, por supuesto, si no pagas, no puedes entrar en ese lugar (Cenotes). . El personal del tour no sabe lo que afectará al tour, así que le pregunté antes de viajar si las vacaciones afectarían a nuestro viaje. Y me dijo que no. Sin embargo, algunos de los lugares están cerrados, y no podemos entrar para hacer el recorrido normal (algunas iglesias). . El siguiente es el compañero o guía local, la mayoría de las veces nos recogen a una hora posterior a la programada durante 15-20 min. . ¡¡¡Según el itinerario, los guías locales tenían que dejarnos en el hotel, pero algunos simplemente dijeron que había atasco en el centro y nos dejaron volver andando al hotel!!! . Por último, los guías locales cambian algunos de los recorridos, y no puedes hacer nada al respecto. Debería haber conseguido una excursión en grupo pequeño a Chichén Itzá (14 pax con furgoneta), ¡pero me dieron una excursión en autobús! Además, dieron un cambio de última hora: Tuve que caminar sola hasta el punto de encuentro porque no podían recogerme en el hotel debido al tráfico. Sin embargo, la visita guiada se cambió al autobús, lo que facilitó la espera en un solo lugar. Porque recibí un mensaje para quedar en otro hotel y luego acabé teniendo que volver andando a otro lugar para coger el autobús que no está para nada cerca del hotel indicado. . No recomendaria hacer este tour porque tiene mucha informacion oculta y es confuso, aunque el tour se reservo a traves de una agencia. Si no tienes tiempo para reservarlo todo por tu cuenta, sigue siendo una buena opción, pero ten en cuenta que en muchos viajes hay cargos ocultos y sorpresas por parte de los guías locales.

Moscow Metro 2019

Will it be easy to find my way in the Moscow Metro? It is a question many visitors ask themselves before hitting the streets of the Russian capital. As metro is the main means of transport in Moscow – fast, reliable and safe – having some skills in using it will help make your visit more successful and smooth. On top of this, it is the most beautiful metro in the world !

. There are over 220 stations and 15 lines in the Moscow Metro. It is open from 6 am to 1 am. Trains come very frequently: during the rush hour you won't wait for more than 90 seconds! Distances between stations are quite long – 1,5 to 2 or even 3 kilometers. Metro runs inside the city borders only. To get to the airport you will need to take an onground train - Aeroexpress.

RATES AND TICKETS

Paper ticket A fee is fixed and does not depend on how far you go. There are tickets for a number of trips: 1, 2 or 60 trips; or for a number of days: 1, 3 days or a month. Your trips are recorded on a paper ticket. Ifyou buy a ticket for several trips you can share it with your traveling partner passing it from one to the other at the turnstile.

On every station there is cashier and machines (you can switch it to English). Cards and cash are accepted. 1 trip - 55 RUB 2 trips - 110 RUB

Tickets for 60 trips and day passes are available only at the cashier's.

60 rides - 1900 RUB

1 day - 230 RUB 3 days - 438 RUB 30 days - 2170 RUB.

The cheapest way to travel is buying Troyka card . It is a plastic card you can top up for any amount at the machine or at the ticket office. With it every trip costs 38 RUB in the metro and 21 RUB in a bus. You can get the card in any ticket office. Be prepared to leave a deposit of 50 RUB. You can get it back returning the card to the cashier.

SamsungPay, ApplePay and PayPass cards.

One turnstile at every station accept PayPass and payments with phones. It has a sticker with the logos and located next to the security's cabin.

GETTING ORIENTED

At the platfrom you will see one of these signs.

It indicates the line you are at now (line 6), shows the direction train run and the final stations. Numbers below there are of those lines you can change from this line.

In trains, stations are announced in Russian and English. In newer trains there are also visual indication of there you are on the line.

To change lines look for these signs. This one shows the way to line 2.

There are also signs on the platfrom. They will help you to havigate yourself. (To the lines 3 and 5 in this case).

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

6. Novoslobodskaya Metro Station  was built in 1952. It has 32 stained glass murals with brass borders.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.

10. Teatralnaya Metro Station (Theatre Metro Station) is located near the Bolshoi Theatre.
