National geographic, make like a bird and take flight.

No, I’m not talking about a bi-plane ride or even a helicopter tour over the New River Gorge. I’m talking about an amazing ‘self-propelled’ flight that finds you racing through the treetops with the birds.

Zip Line at Burning Rock

It’s called many names: zip lining, zipping, canopy tour or (some might say) crazy.

Jokes aside, it’s quickly becoming the hottest new outdoor adventure activity in the New River Gorge region. It’s unique, family-friendly, educational and almost anyone age 10 & older can do it.

New River Gorge Zipline and Canopy Tours

Our area has quickly become a zipline and canopy tour hotbed. There is no shortage of ziplines to try. Here are some of the New River Gorge area offerings.

  • Ace Adventure Resort Canopy Tour
  • Burning Rock Express Zip Line
  • Treetop Canopy Tours and Gravity Zip Lines

One Example

An example of one of the area tours can be found at TreeTops Canopy Tour , located at Adventures on the Gorge .

As with every tour in the area guides fit everyone up in a harness, helmet and gloves and provide instructions. At TreeTops, once you have geared-up it’s off to school… ground school that is. On a lower cable (about 5 feet off the ground) guests learn the basics of proper zipline techniques and get a safety overview.

Once everyone ‘passes’ school, it’s off to the trees!

What’s It Like?

At TreeTops, like any other canopy tour, the first two zips are fairly short, allowing everyone to feel more comfortable and build confidence.

Being nervous at first is normal – its part of the fun!

By the time most people get to the third zipline they are relaxed and taking in the scenic views of spectacular Mill Creek canyon below.

Guides share stories about the local history of the area and point out interesting plants and wildlife. Everyone learns about the invasive Hemlock Woolley Adelgid , a pest that is destroying our nation’s Eastern Hemlock trees. At TreeTops, one dollar from each person’s fee for the tour is matched and goes towards conservation / treatment efforts to help save these ‘redwoods of the east’. Guests also walk across 5 sky-bridges, take 3 short hikes to gain elevation and end with a gentle rappel down from the final platform.

It never gets boring and I learn something new every time. But best of all, truth be told… I get to fly !

Highly recommend the Tree Top Canopy Tour!

I just came back from a tree top zip lining experience with my 12- and 14-year old boys. We had a prior experience at another resort, but this was a much more enjoyable experience -- the setting is beautiful, the zip line course is very well integrated with the surrounding area, and it varies a lot -- there're bridges in between some of the zip lines, and at a couple of spots, the zip line ends at the forest ground level, so you take a leisurely short walk in the woods before starting the next zip line; one of the zip lines starts from a rock platform and my kids loved it. The guides are very professional, funny and knowledgeable of the area as well -- we learned a lot about different types of mushrooms and trees growing in the area. Definitely recommend it. Our awesome guides were Chris and Kailey -- thanks you guys!!!

We had a big group and booked a raft trip on the New. We went with Class VI. There is a really nice resort area with pool, cabins, zip-lines and more. We only had time for the raft trip, but next time....maybe a Gauley trip....can plan for more. The check-in for the 9:30 trip was efficient, even though I forgot to do some of the paperwork online ahead of time....that will make it easier next time. There's a nice check in area with wooden buildings, and places to sit. They offer coffee and juice as well. Out trip leader "Squirrel", got us all organized and we got in to busses for the longer upstream commute to the put-in. (Getting off is much shorter, because the take out is just below the resort at the base of the mountain). Out guide Eric met us at the rafts and got us all situated. He had been guiding some 20 years and all of the other guides were also similarly experienced. They took safety very seriously. I'm a former guide on the Yough in SW Pa and have lots of white-water experience. The New is a great trip. The first half has fewer rapids, some medium pools, but plenty of places to jump from rocks and get in the water to swim some of the rapids. Lunch was typical raft fare....sandwiches, but there was a nice little pasta salad and plenty of fruit. The second half of the trip packs the majority of the rapids. It's probably the best rafting in the East, save for the Gauley. It's BIG water. Nice big standing waves, some techinical rapids up to class V. It makes for a really nice ride and lots, lots of fun!! At the end of the trip, they offered beer and sodas and then you can hang around, have a bite to eat in the upstairs bar/restaurant and watch the video (also for sale) of your trip! Well done trip! Thanks to all the guides. Our group really loved it!

I just came back from a rafting trip with my family of 5, including three young adults. We took the Lower New River Rafting trip. It was perfect for our novice level, but only because we had an excellent guide, Mike. The rafting was fun, and exciting, though we all stayed safe. The water level was even at spring levels though it was the middle of summer. There was also a lunch provided and it was a delicious selection of lunch meats, bread, and wrap fixings, as well as some pasta salads, chips and salsa, and even some pudding cake as dessert. We rafted through many awesome rapids, got soaking wet, worked hard and had tons of fun on the river. There were even spots to jump off a rock into the water and to swim through mild rapids on purpose. There were amazing views of the New River Gorge from the bottom up and the bridge as well. There were even beers and soda available when we got back to the bus at the end of the day. Back at the main location, there were great shower facilities to change and get cleaned off from a day in the river. After that, there were amazing pictures from the trip to review in the lounge area, which also had a bar. The bar then had live music later and there was a small restaurant near by to get a bite to eat from. The bar was moderately priced and there was also a sand volleyball court and bean bags set to play with. It was really a nice set up. The whole day was amazing. I highly recommend this resort set-up to anyone. :)

We visited for a family reunion and were there four days and three nights and had plenty of activities for all age groups. I loved the pool, food, the views of the Gorge and the comfort of the stay. The young adults loved the ziplining, rafting, disc golf, and night life. The little kids loved the play park, pool, rafting and tree tops. This resort as something for everyone no matter your age or comfort level you seek on vacation. Definitely going back!

This was my 5th trip down the New River but first time with Adventures on the Gorge. The whole experience was perfect. The campground (tent camping) was clean and beautiful. There are many convenient services (stores, places to eat, things to do, etc.) The best part is the White Water Rafting Trip. The Guides were all excellent. Kevin and Fitch were particularly good and experienced. You can tell that they all keep a keen eye on safety. I cannot believe the spread they laid out for our lunch! The food quality was top notch and the selection for a lunch buffet was huge. Be sure to visit the official visitor's center operated by the NPS. Also, you should take the narrow little road from the visitor's center down to the bottom of the gorge. There you will see some neat little waterfalls, cliffs, and viewpoints.

Visited here for my company picnic, it was just a day trip but had a blast! We ate at Smokies on the Gorge, swam in the pool and just enjoyed nature...I will be going back!!

TreeTops Canopy Tour In the New River Gorge

Check out what I did on August 11, 2012!! New Exciting Adventures.

If that seems exciting and fun for you, let me tell you about my day. It all started at a “ Environmentally conscious design & operation in a world class setting” in West Virginia at the New River Gorge , one of the more beautiful places in the world, at least in my opinion. My family and I arrived at our destination roughly a hour before our scheduled zip-line time like we were supposed to. Hanging out watching others come back from the TreeTop tours, made reality set in and I started getting excited and wondering what I was getting into.  Keep in mind this was a spur of the moment decision, after I found out I didn’t have to work that weekend, and all I knew about was what the website said, http://www.newrivergorgecanopytour.com/site/canopy-tour.html, and how I was going to complete 10 zip lines, varying in lengths from over 100 feet to as long as 730 feet with the zip speeds of 30 miles per hour and 5 sky bridges .

Then when our group was called (at 11:20) to get ready, we began learning harasses, and helmets, while learning about our tour guides and the safety precautions we need to know. Our group consisted of 8 guest(my family and 4 others) and 2 tours guides.

Our Tour Guides!

Getting Ready!!

After a short walk, we came to the practice zip-lines where we learn to stop, go, and what to do if we get stuck in the middle of the cable for some reason. Here C4 (our tour guide) started asking us questions to get to know us and see if we could follow directions correctly so we would not get hurt on the real zip-lines. Everybody did the practice course perfectly, except for 1 or 2 people whom let their nerves get a hold of them, and they started grabbing the cable instead of just pushing down to stop. This started to worry my family and I a little because we were not sure if those people would be able to make it through the course due to their dislike of heights.

treetop canopy tour new river gorge

Dad’s Practice Round

After everybody completed the practice round, we moved of the the real fun of the day, actually zip-lining!! Some of these lines started from the tops of the trees, while others started from the ground and you jumped off of rocks to get your start. Some places, the tour guides told us to see if we could yell for the full length of the zip, others we were supposed to yell out silly comments, such as something about Scooby Doo. Intertwined in doing zip-lines, we learned about the natures surrounding, where I learned about different mushroom and tree species, and crossed sky bridge, that swung in the air depending on how many people were on them.

treetop canopy tour new river gorge

Lastly where to start rappelling down the final platform, where I had to go first, which I didn’t like, the guides told us don’t worry just hold on to the rope which is on a pulley system and leap your foot out over the platform to spin around and then just starting letting the rope go through your hands. Well let me tell you that is easier said then done. And when I go to the ground I was like that was not as hard as I thought it was going to be, because on the platform it looks a lot higher than it really was. Next my aunt was next, and she start out climbing down like a pro,  until C4 the tour guide decided to start messing with her and holding the rope so she was stuck in the mid-air. She just keep yelling let me down, you are such a punk!! After everybody was down from the platform, we were ready to ride the bus back to our starting point that the lodge and end our journey.

If you would like to be interested in an experience like this one, look into the TreeTop Canopy in West Virginia I highly recommend it!! I had a Blast!! and Can’t wait to try the Gravity Zip Lines which go a lot higher and faster, but that for another weekend adventure. Want to see more pictures go to my facebook fan page, Experience Outdoors or look at the SmugMug picture at http://adventuresonthegorge.smugmug.com/Other/Treetops-81112/24759596_D99xq6#!i=2026199948&k=J75dcQM under 11:20 to see my family and myself.

1 Breathtaking Sky Bridge

Here’s a moment to really take in your surroundings: You’re high in the tree-tops, where birds make their home — and bragging rights are earned!  Crossing the sky bridge at The Gorge brings big smiles, gifts memorable photos, and is sure to leave you wishing for a treetop home of your own.

Unforgettable Family Adventure

It can be hard to find fun that everyone will love, but at The Gorge – we’ve got it!  Family-friendly adventure that is sure to deliver!  We recommend guests be at least 10 years old, and everyone must weigh between 70 and 250 pounds.  Fit the bill?  Then get ready for the thrill!  We’re stoked to adventure with you!

INDIVIDUALS

Groups (8+), weight requirements.

All participants must weigh between 70 and 250 lbs, and we discreetly verify weight at check in.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Our suggested minimum age is 10 years old. However, everyone must meet our weight requirement of 70 to 250 lbs.

PHYSICAL CONDITION

All participants must be in reasonably good physical condition, with the ability to reach above your head and hold onto a cable (your weight is supported by a harness).

There are two very short hikes on well maintained trails, but participants should be comfortable walking on uneven terrain.

Also remember that our tours last 3 to 3.5 hours.

Congrats! But we don’t want to put you or your baby at risk, so we don’t allow pregnant people to zip. We look forward to seeing you in 9 months!

MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

Guests with conditions that require fast-acting medication, like epinephrine, should bring their medication with them and make their guides aware of the condition prior to the start of the trip.

Our tours begin at the scheduled tour time. Therefore, we recommend guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time in order to allow for parking, checking in, etc. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate you on another trip that same day, if we have availability. No refunds will be issued to late arrivals – if you fail to show up for your trip on time, we still incur the same costs and may have turned others away.

WHAT TO WEAR

Our tours operate rain or shine and regardless of temperature. Check the local weather before you come (zip code 28773). Please wear appropriate clothing for the conditions. Close-toed footwear that is suitable for hiking on variable terrain is required. No crocs or slingbacks are allowed. Avoid wearing loose clothing, such as ponchos, scarves, and excessively baggy clothing. Short shorts are not recommended. Due to the nature of the tour, we recommend that participants leave valuables such as jewelry and cell phones behind, stored in a safe place (so do plan ahead).

CAMERAS & PHONES

Cameras and phones are not permitted on the trip due to the liklihood that they will be dropped and/or broken, as well as as a courtesy to other guests. Our guides do take photos during your tour, and these are available for purchase both prior to your tour (online) or after your tour (in the Outpost).

WEATHER CONDITIONS

Our canopy tours run rain or shine, in all weather conditions, unless extreme winds or lightning interfere with operational safety. The Course Manager on duty will determine tour cancellations, and guests may be notified at any time regarding cancellation. In the event that your tour is cancelled by The Gorge, you will receive a full refund or rain check voucher depending on the circumstances. We reserve the right to postpone (or pause) a tour for up to one hour to wait out inclement weather and then resume normal operations.

Participants should be comfortable without access to restroom facilities for over 3 hours. Restrooms are available at our outpost and at the pick up point at the end of your tour.

A NOTE ABOUT CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY:

All participants are required to:

  • Follow the company’s policies and procedures
  • Follow guides’ instructions
  • Sign a release and waiver document before participating

What is included in the Canopy tour?

During your experience at The Gorge, you’ll fly through the treetops on over a mile of cable covering 11 zip lines in the breathtaking Green River Gorge. You will wear a safety harness connected to the zip line cables, allowing you to travel from platform to platform. Additional elements are included in the tour such as a suspension bridge, 3 free fall rappels and a short hike down hill. Each tour is led by 2 knowledgeable and experienced guides.

What if I’ve never zipLINED before?

That’s okay! Most of our guests have never experienced the thrill of a zipline canopy tour adventure before. That’s why our guides make sure that they give a complete orientation session before starting ground school, and why we make sure we do everything we can to make you feel comfortable about your adventure. Our program is designed for intergenerational participants. That’s what we love about this canopy tour, just about everyone can do it. Please read our requirements prior to booking your tour.

Are reservations required?

Reservations are strongly encouraged. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee that there will be an open space on a trip, although we will try to accommodate people stopping in, if we have space available. Plan your canopy tour now with an online reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

All reservations are charged in full at the time of booking. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation you are required to notify us 72 hours prior to your scheduled tour start time. Reservations are considered final 72 hours prior to your scheduled tour start time and are not eligible for a refund OR rescheduling.

How long does it take to complete the course?

From departure time our course takes 3 to 3.5 hours to complete with a fully booked trip of 8 to 10 participants, smaller groups my move through the course more quickly. We ask that you plan for at least 4 hours total.

What are the age and weight requirements?

Our suggested minimum age is 10 years old, and all participants must weigh between 70 and 250lbs. Guests are discreetly weighed at check-in. Those not meeting our requirements will not be able to participate and are ineligible for a refund.

Do I have to sign a waiver?

Yes, all participants are required to sign a participant agreement before being allowed on course.

  • If under 18 : A parent or legal guardian must also sign the waiver.

What should I wear?

We suggest that you dress as if you were going for a hike. You will be wearing a helmet, full body harness and gloves so dress for comfort. The temperatures can be different at the Outpost so we suggest bringing layers and making the final decision once you arrive.

What if it rains?

Our canopy tours run rain or shine, in all weather conditions, unless extreme wind or lightning interfere with operational safety. The Course Manager on duty will determine tour cancellations and guests may be notified at any time regarding cancellation. In the event that your tour is cancelled by The Gorge, you will receive a refund or a rain check voucher depending on the circumstances. We reserve the right to postpone or ‘pause’ a tour for up to one hour to wait out inclement weather and resume normal operations. Rain gear is not provided and you are expected to dress appropriately for the weather. Synthetic clothing is recommended when wet weather is expected.

What if it’s too cold outside?

Please be aware that our winter months can be quite cold. Zipping in the cold is fun, if you are dressed for the weather. We recommend you layer your clothing. Based upon the temperature we recommend that you consider wearing long underwear, wool socks, warm cap, warm jacket, glove liners (full gloves will not fit under the gloves you will be required to wear to zip). We have ‘hot hands’ and glove liners for sale at the Outpost.

If you have any questions, feel free to call the office. *there is no such thing as bad weather, just “bad clothing choices.”

What if I am running late?

All canopy tours begin at the booked time, so please arrive on time. If you expect to arrive late, please call us at 828.749.2500 and we will determine if we can accommodate you on another tour that day. This will be case-by-case basis, determined by our manager on duty. Refunds will not be issued to late arrivals, so please plan accordingly.

Can I make reservations for a group of more than 8?

Yes, we can accommodate large groups! You can book online across multiple tour departure times and a discount will be automatically applied if you have a group of 8 or more. Need help? No problem! Just call 828.749.2500 and allow our Reservation Team to facilitate the booking. Our group discount starts with 8 participants and is $10 off per guest. NOTE: Group discounts must be paid with one credit card at the time of booking and group discounts may not be combined with any other discounts.

If I am not able to participate, can I stay and watch?

Spectators are welcome to hangout on our deck. You will be able to observe ground school and see the participants take their first zip. We do not allow anyone to walk the trail systems setup on course or to meet a group at the bottom for safety reasons.

Do the guides take photos?

Yes they do, SMILE! The guides will carry a camera throughout the course. Getting comfortable on the lines is first priority, so they will start snapping photos after the first 3 ziplines. If you have a special request for a photo, the guides will do their best to provide, but please remember that safety comes before the photos. Photos are available for purchase prior to your tour as an “add on” in our online reservation system or in the Outpost following your adventure. Note: Our gloves don’t work with cell phone screens. Please leave cells phones and other valuables behind, stored in a secure location.

Are there any bathrooms along the way?

There are restrooms located at the Outpost before you take off, and a portalet located at the bottom of the course before you are shuttled back. There are NO restrooms on the course, so be sure to empty your bladders before going into the gear room.

Can I wear my glasses?

Yes, but you might consider wearing an eyewear retainer to ensure that your glasses do not fall off. Retainers are available for purchase in our on-site retail area. The Gorge is not responsible for and cannot recover any items dropped from the course.

Is there someplace for me to store my purse, wallet, etc. while I am on my tour?

No. Please leave bags and valuable items at home or locked in your car. We do have a place to keep your keys while on your tour, but we are not responsible for any items left in the Gear Room.

If I am pregnant, can I still zip?

For the safety of the parent-to-be and the baby, we do not allow people who are pregnant in any stage to participate in our canopy tour. But we do, of course, hope to see you in the future!

Do we have to hike back to the outpost?

We have a large passenger van that will meet you at the bottom and shuttle you back to the Outpost.

What else is there to do in the area?

Our sister company, Green River Adventures (what started it all…) is located in downtown Saluda. Plan multiple activities during your stay!

Check out saluda.com/adventureguide for more to do while in the area.

Should we tip our guides?

Sure! It’s always nice to reward those working in the service industry, and tips are greatly appreciated. Your guides work hard to make sure you have a memorable tour. If they succeeded, feel free to reward their effort – and thanks!

You can either tip your guides directly, or if you’d prefer to tip by credit card, talk to the staff at the check in desk, as they’d be happy to help!

Please make sure that everyone in your party is aware of these policies:

Participant Requirements

Guests are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to trip time. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate you on another trip that same day, given availability. No refunds will be issued to late arrivals – if you fail to show up for your trip on time, we still incur the same costs and may have turned others away.

All guests are required to sign a waiver.

  • If under 18: a parent or guardian must also sign the waiver.

Participants must weigh between 70 and 250 pounds. Guests are discreetly weighed at check-in.

Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required. No crocs or slingbacks are allowed.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. We suggest you dress as if going for a hike. Because guests will be in a harness, longer shorts or pants tend to be more comfortable.

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

What is the kremlin in russia?

The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

Gravity Ziplines

Experience one of the nation’s longest ziplines.

  • Half Day Trip (2-3 hours)
  • Min. Age 12
  • Must Weigh between 100-260 lbs.
  • Must wear closed toe shoes

Soar high above the treetops on a zipline trip that’s unlike anything you’ve ever experienced! Gravity Ziplines are for those looking for the thrill of speed and the rush of flying high above the treetops! On this gravity powered zipline, you won’t have to use your hands to brake on the cable. Instead take in the sights as you zoom high above the valley below.

The Gravity Ziplines tour serves up a dose of adrenaline that’s on par with our most extreme adventures! You’ll zip up to 200 feet high and over one and a half miles worth of cables, all through a wonderful series of mountain ridges and bowls in the heart of Southern West Virginia. The course descends six ziplines: two 500-foot warm-ups, and then progressively longer and faster lines at 1,300 feet, 1,600 feet, and 1,800 feet before getting to the main attraction.

All that adrenaline so far? That’s just a preview of the thrill you’ll experience on Adrena-line! This 3,150-foot zipline (that’s about three quarters of a mile) is one of the longest and fastest in the nation, pushing zippers up to 65 miles per hour. Give yourself to Gravity. It’ll be a highlight of your trip!

The minimum age for Gravity Ziplines is 12. Participants must weigh between 100 and 260 lbs.

Requirements and limits.

  • The minimum age for this adventure is 12.
  • Participants must weigh a minimum of 100 pounds but no more than 260 pounds.
  • All participants must fill out a waiver prior to the trip. Those under 18 will need assistance from a guardian when filling out their form.
  • Closed-toed shoes are an absolute requirement.
  • No alcoholic beverages, illicit drugs, or tobacco products are allowed on Adventures on the Gorge courses.
  • We do not allow pregnant individuals on Gravity Ziplines. Please consult your guide about any other medical conditions before you head out on the course. Few conditions ever keep individuals from going on this course, but it really helps the guides cater to specific needs.
  • A certain level of physical mobility is required for this course. Participants will be required to extend their arms and actively use their hands when steering and in proper zipline position. Individuals are not required to perform their own hand-braking on this course. Your guide and/or automatic zip-stop systems will be responsible for slowing guests down.
  • Loose clothing, dresses, and dangling jewelry are not advised. Longer hair is best placed into a low ponytail for a comfortable helmet fit.

What’s Included

We’ll provide expert safety instruction and all the necessary safety gear, including helmets, gloves, and harnesses.

What to Wear and Bring

Closed-toed, secure shoes are mandatory. Wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move around in, but avoid loose clothing, and tie back long hair–you don’t want anything getting stuck in our zipline cables. Our trips run rain or shine, so dress according to the weather. Think sunscreen and sunglasses during the summer and jackets for the cold, wind, or rain.

We’ll provide guests with all the necessary safety equipment for this course. Small backpacks are permitted in most cases but are absolutely not necessary. Water will be provided at stations throughout the course. Let your guide know if any specialized medical supplies need to be brought out on course throughout the adventure. We will have a safe spot for any valuables you don’t want to take on the course.

Where to Meet

Trips will start and end at Building 8 on the Mill Creek side of campus. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to trip time for check in.

Inclement Weather

Trips will continue even during periods of heavy rain, but trips will be halted in the case of lightning or heavy sustained winds on the mountain.

Trip Length

It all depends on the size of your group, but a round-trip adventure generally takes two to three hours. This includes bus rides, gear up, and actual physical completion of the course.

There is inherent risk in any adventure, but with our highly trained guides we aim to mitigate any risks involved. Gravity Ziplines features top-of-the-line equipment, and we follow strict safety guidelines.

What if I decide I do not want to continue the course?

There will be an option to exit the course after our starter zips if you so choose. You will remain on the Gravity Mountain for the remainder of the trip until the group finishes up. This usually means a ride in the UTV to the bottom of the mountain to hang out at our gear trailer.

What if I am afraid of heights?

Although these ziplines are the highest and fastest around, half of your journey will be spent navigating the platforms at the ground level. Our guides are highly trained in helping calm these fears and are usually able to help you work through it.

Will I be able to watch my group complete this course?

No. Gravity Ziplines is located away from Adventures on the Gorge’s main campus and is only accessible by bus ride. People actively participating on the trips are the only persons allowed on this journey.

Due to high traffic volume online booking is currently running slow. For booking help call (855) 379-8738 or see our Trip Planner .
