Is Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour VIP Package Worth It? A Breakdown

Perks include great views, ride share vouchers, and exclusive merch.

While it’s no Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour , getting tickets to Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour hasn’t been an easy feat. Aside from battling scalpers and virtual queues, the biggest hurdle for many fans was just affording the price of the tickets. For fans who got codes for the BeyHive Presale , nosebleed section tickets in certain stadiums ranged from $62 to $162 before taxes and fees. While that might be doable, Renaissance Tour VIP tickets near the stage may cost you more than a month’s worth of rent. With their expensive prices, you might be wondering if Beyoncé’s VIP tour packages are worth it — and what perks they come with.

The first question you have to ask yourself is if you actually afford VIP. Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour is broken down into different price levels, similar to Swift’s Eras Tour packages . The lowest level is Club Renaissance, which gets you the following:

  • Tickets to the Club Renaissance pit on the floor
  • Access to a cash bar in Club Renaissance
  • A specialty-designed Club Renaissance gift
  • Club Renaissance VIP wristband
  • Early entry
  • A VIP concierge team and onsite hosts

The Club Renaissance tickets are around $889, which to put them into perspective, are almost as much as Swift’s most expensive VIP package — and that’s just the beginning. If you want the best seats in the house, you’ll need to fork over almost $5,000. While fans like TikToker @grandpahive claim VIP is “so f*cking worth it” to be that close to Beyoncé, your bank account may beg to differ.

How Much Are The Beyoncé Renaissance Tour VIP Tickets?

Fans want to know if Beyoncé's 'Renaissance Tour' VIP packages are worth it after seeing her perform...

While tickets have been on sale for the Renaissance Tour since February, there are a few VIP packages still available in some cities — and it may be because of their price tag. Here’s a breakdown of each package:

  • Club Renaissance Experience — ~$889
  • BeyHive VIP Package — ~$1,401 to $1,902
  • Alien Superstar Riser — ~$1,834 to $2,001
  • Pure/Honey On Stage Risers — ~$2,501 to $3,757
  • Pure/Honey On Stage Risers: Front Row Experience — ~$4,001 to $4,939

Seats & Merch For Beyoncé Renaissance Tour VIP Packages

To be close to the stage, you need Beyoncé 'Renaissance Tour' VIP tickets.

All Renaissance Tour VIP packages will get you on the floor. It just depends on which package you buy whether you’ll be in a seat on the stage or standing in the pit. The Club Renaissance tickets get you access to the circle pit at the end of Beyoncé’s runway. The BeyHive VIP package is general admission as well, but to the BeyHive pit located on either side of the main stage.

The rest of the packages have reserved seats. The Alien Superstar Riser is located behind Club Renaissance on the floor, and the Pure/Honey Risers are on either side of the stage. The most expensive package is the one that will get you front row seats on these side stage risers, where Beyoncé will come right up to you. TikToker @cozypare shared just how close Beyoncé gets to one of the Pure/Honey risers during “I Care,” which just happens to be only song four in her over three-hour-long setlist .

In addition to incredible tickets, each package also comes with merch. It appears every VIP ticket holder gets the same limited edition gift , which includes a silver tote bag, Renaissance World Tour dad hat, and electric fan that says “fan me off.” Anyone BeyHive VIP and above also gets a collectible VIP laminate along with a Renaissance World Tour photo opp. The photo isn’t with Beyoncé, but more like a red carpet step-and-repeat. You also get early entry into the venue, and for VIPs on the risers, you also get a fast pass to the merch booths. Of course, the Renaissance Tour merch is also expensive, so you may not have the funds to buy a $60 tee after you paid almost $5,000 to be there.

Something that does come with your VIP package that will save you some money, if you’re on the risers, is a VIP parking spot or ride share voucher to use the day of the show. You also get two drink tokens to use on beer, wine, or any of the specialty Renaissance Tour cocktails .

Are Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Packages Worth It?

If you want to sit close to the stage, Beyoncé's 'Renaissance' Tour VIP packages are worth it.

If you have thousands of dollars to spend on a Beyoncé ticket, you’re going to say it’s worth it. Either you have the money to spend and $5,000 is nothing to you, or you’re a diehard fan willing to go into debt to see Beyoncé sing “Virgo’s Groove” three feet away from you. For anyone who doesn’t fall into either of these categories, VIP just doesn’t seem like a financially responsible choice.

It’s hard not to compare Beyoncé’s tour with the other mega tour happening right now — Swift’s Era Tour. One of the biggest complaints from VIP ticket holders for that show is that it’s a massive stage and when you’re on the floor, you can’t always see what’s happening. The risers definitely help in this case, but you can get just as good of a view (and sometimes better) from the nosebleeds. Sure, you’re not making direct eye contact with the queen, but you’re there in her presence.

Even if the merch was more exciting, it probably wouldn’t justify spending more than what you do on rent and groceries in one month. Considering there are still plenty of VIP tickets available at various shows, it looks like many fans also agree that these packages are just not worth the cost. Beyoncé may be telling you to release your job in “Break My Soul,” but unless she’s going to pay for your ticket, that might not be an option.

What To Expect From Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance World Tour

The stadium tour kicks off in May in cities across Europe and the U.S.

Beyoncé's 2023 Tour: Dates, Tickets, & Presale For 'Renaissance' Shows

Get ready for your soul (or at least your bank account) to be broken . Queen Bey is coming to a city near you soon. More than six months after releasing Renaissance , her first solo studio album in six years, Beyoncé finally announced the Renaissance World Tour , sharing the poster on Instagram and posting the tour dates on her website on Feb. 1. The stadium jaunt will kick off in May in Sweden, with dates currently confirmed across Europe and North America.

The Renaissance World Tour will mark Beyoncé’s first live shows in five years — aside from the extravagant private show she played in Dubai on Jan. 21 for the grand re-opening of the Atlantis resort, for which she was reportedly paid around $24 million . Naturally, demand has proven to be enormous, leading Bey to add more shows across the U.S. and Europe. She last co-headlined the On The Run II Tour with her husband Jay-Z in 2018. The singer was rumored to have planned a tour in 2020 to promote The Lion King: The Gift and its accompanying Black Is King film , but dates were inevitably scrapped due to lockdown. Her last solo outing was the Formation World Tour in 2016.

View on Instagram

In October, the “CUFF IT” singer indicated — in a very low-key way — that she would embark on a 2023 world tour to promote her seventh studio album . At the inaugural Wearable Art Gala, the 28-time Grammy winner auctioned off a “UNIQUE opportunity,” referencing her fan-favorite track “ALIEN SUPERSTAR,” to see one of her upcoming shows. The listing confirms that the Renaissance tour will kick off in the summer of 2023, calling it “one of the most sought-after musical performances of all time” and assuring international fans that Bey will take the tour worldwide.

That VIP package included two concert tickets, first-class airfare to select cities, a three-night hotel stay, and to top it off, a guided backstage tour from Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson. According to Variety , the winning bidder paid between $45,000 and $50,000 for the honor of seeing Bey. Thankfully, this did not indicate the price range for normal Renaissance tour tickets.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Renaissance World Tour.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Dates

The Renaissance World Tour will kick off on May 10 in Sweden and take Beyoncé to 14 cities across the UK and Europe before heading to the U.S. and Canada. The North American leg will start on July 8 in Toronto and conclude nearly three months later in New Orleans. Demand for tickets ended up being so big that Beyoncé added multiple dates across both continents. On Feb. 2, she announced second shows in several U.S. cities , and added multiple dates across the UK and Europe on Feb. 7, including a total of five shows in London alone.

How To Buy Renaissance Tour Tickets

Like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour , fans will need to register with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program to buy tickets to the Renaissance World Tour. BeyHive subscribers can register for their own Verified Fan presale, which comes first, while Citi cardmembers will also have a separate presale before the general Verified Fan onsale. The shows have been divided into Groups A, B, and C, which all have different registration periods and presale dates. Therefore, not all shows will go on sale at once, decreasing the chances of the traffic jams that happened for Swift’s Eras Tour .

That said, huge traffic and long virtual queues are still expected, as Ticketmaster announced the day after the tour announcement that the number of Verified Fan registrations exceeded the number of tickets available by nearly 800%. For cities in Group A, the BeyHive presale will begin on Feb. 6, with the Citi presale happening the next day and the general Verified Fan onsale being held on Feb. 11. The presales for Group B will be held the following week, and tickets for Group C shows will go on sale the week after. Originally, fans had until Feb. 2 to register for Group A shows, Feb. 9 for Group B, and Feb. 16 for Group C. But due to the demand, Ticketmaster ended up cutting off registration for all shows on Feb. 5.

Beyoncé Announces 41-Date 'Renaissance' Tour

The five-month romp takes her to the U.K., Europe, and North America.

Beyoncé won’t break our soul — but she’s about to break our wallets.

Finally, months after the release of her acclaimed seventh studio album , the superstar has announced her Summer 2023 Renaissance world tour. The five-month romp, kicking off in May and wrapping in September, will take the singer to over 40 cities in the U.K., Europe, and North America. This will mark the first-ever live performances of her new album, and first live shows for Beyoncé in general since her 2017 On The Run II tour with husband Jay-Z.

Details of the Renaissance tour leaked early, in late 2022, after extravagant VIP packages for the tour went up for auction at the WACO Theater‘s Wearable Art Gala charity auction.

Unlike with previous album cycles, Beyoncé uncharacteristically withdrew from the public eye following the release of Renaissance. To date, the singer hasn’t released any music videos or visuals to accompany the songs, nor has she made any public performances of the songs. On Jan. 23, Queen Bey gave her first performance in years at the Atlantis The Royal hotel in Dubai, though the theatrical show was invite-only and she didn’t perform any songs from Renaissance . Bey reportedly earned around $24 - $34 million for the gig.

That being said, we may finally see more activity from the Bey camp in the months leading up to her tour. For everything you need to know about attending the Renaissance tour, including the full tour schedule, openers, and how to snag tickets, read on.

On Her Renaissance Tour, the World Is Beyoncé’s Ball

The pop superstar’s first solo outing in seven years draws on the dance-music cultures that inspired her 2022 album, and her work that led up to that ecstatic release.

By Lindsay Zoladz

Reporting from Toronto

It was a crowd that had come to dance, dressed for a rodeo in the distant future: sparkling cowboy hats, silvery fringe, outré sunglasses and any other sartorial detail that represented “Renaissance,” Beyoncé’s dazzling seventh album and the occasion for her first solo tour in seven years. But as the imperial pop superstar took the stage at the Rogers Center in Toronto on Saturday night for the first North American show of her Renaissance World Tour, she reminded the club-ready audience just who was in charge. Because if they were prepared to move, she was going to make them wait a little longer.

Setting the table for a two-and-a-half-hour performance that was visually spectacular, vocally ambitious and sometimes tonally confused, Beyoncé, 41 — clad in a glimmering chain-mail mini dress — began the show with a nearly 30-minute stretch of ballads and deep cuts that harked back to her past: an acrobatically sung solo rendition of the 2001 Destiny’s Child track “Dangerously in Love,” a bit of “Flaws and All” from the deluxe edition of her 2007 album “B’Day,” and the sparse, soulful “1+1” from 2011, which she belted atop a mirrored piano.

It was a both a display of her vocal agility and a curiously traditional way to start a show centered around an album as conceptually bold and forward-thinking as “Renaissance” — a sprawling, knowingly referential romp through the history of dance music , with an emphasis on the contributions of Black and queer innovators. Here, instead, was a stopover in Beyoncé’s Middle Ages.

As a live entertainer, though, she has earned a fresh start. The Renaissance World Tour shows are some of Beyoncé’s first appearances since her dazzling, commanding performance headlining the 2018 Coachella festival (later released as the concert film and live album “Homecoming”), which served as a kind of mic-drop capstone to her career thus far. It would be futile to repeat that, and difficult to top it. The loose, fluid “Renaissance,” still said to be the first part of a trilogy , represents a new chapter in Beyoncé’s recorded oeuvre. And once the show finally found its center and, however belatedly, welcomed the crowd to the Renaissance, it heralded her maturity as a performer, too.

The show’s look — as projected in diamond-sharp definition onto a panoramic screen — conjured Fritz Lang’s “ Metropolis ” by way of the 1990 drag ball documentary “Paris Is Burning.” After a lengthy video introduction, Beyoncé emerged from a chrome cocoon and vamped through a thrilling stretch of the first suite of “Renaissance” songs; during “Cozy,” most strikingly, a pair of hydraulic robotic arms centered her body in industrial picture frames, like a post-human Mona Lisa.

In May, when Beyoncé began the European leg of the Renaissance World Tour, rumors swirled that she may have been recovering from a foot injury, since her choreography was a bit more static and less stomp-heavy than usual. The Toronto show did nothing to dispel that chatter, but it also showed that it doesn’t matter much. Perhaps because of some constraints, Beyoncé has embraced new means of bodily expression. She brought the flavor of ball movements into the show and served face all night, curling her lip like a hungry predator, widening her eyes in mock surprise, scrunching her features in exaggerated disgust.

Few seats in the stadium provided a legible view of Beyoncé’s face, of course, though the screen took care of that. She played expertly to the cameras that followed her every choreographed move, aware of how she’d appear to the majority of the audience and — perhaps just as crucially — in FOMO-inducing social media videos. The stage itself was breathtaking, featuring an arced cutout section of the screen that made for playful visuals, but its full grandeur was not visible from many of the side seats, making the band and sometimes the dancers difficult to see.

The screen, though, was the point. Beyoncé’s two solo releases before “Renaissance” — her 2013 self-titled album and “Lemonade,” from 2016 — were billed as “visual albums,” featuring a fully realized music video for each track. Again toying with her fans’ anticipation, she has still not released any videos from “Renaissance,” giving the previously unseen graphics that filled her expansive backdrop an added impact, and making them feel more weighty than a convenient way to pass time between costume changes.

Many of the tour’s outfits struck a balance between Beyoncé’s signature styles — megawatt sparkles, high-cut bodysuits — and the futuristic bent of “Renaissance.” She played haute couture bee in custom Mugler by Casey Cadwallader and glimmered in a Gucci corset draped with crystals. But the night’s most memorable look — so instantly iconic that a few fans had already tried to replicate it, from photos of the European shows — was a flesh-tone catsuit by the Spanish label Loewe, embellished with a few suggestively placed, red-fingernailed hands.

Throughout the set, Beyoncé wove interpolations of her predecessors’ songs throughout her own, as if to place her music in a larger continuum. The grandiose “I Care” segued into a bit of “River Deep, Mountain High,” in honor of Tina Turner, who died in May . The cheery throwback “Love on Top” contained elements of the Jackson 5’s “Want You Back.” Most effective was the “Queens Remix” she performed of “Break My Soul,” which mashes up the “Renaissance” leadoff single with Madonna’s “Vogue,” paying homage to the mainstream pop star who brought queer ball culture to the masses before her. (The merch on sale at a Renaissance Tour pop-up shop in the days before the show included a hand-held fan emblazoned with the song title “Heated” for $40. It sold out.)

The show contained moments that sometimes felt conceptually cluttered and at odds with the “Renaissance” album’s sharp vision, like dorm-room-poster quotes from Albert Einstein and Jim Morrison that filled the screen during video montages. The middle stretch, arriving with a lively “Formation,” featured Beyoncé and her dancers clad in camo print, riding and occasionally writhing atop a prop military vehicle. There was a wordless, gestural power in the moment she and her entourage held their fists in the air, referencing a salute that had rankled some easily rankle-able viewers of the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show. But if Beyoncé was calling for any more specific forms of protest or political awareness — especially in a moment when drag culture and queer expression are being threatened at home and throughout the world — those went unarticulated.

Beyoncé’s endurance as a world-class performer remained the show’s raison d’être; she is the rare major pop star who prizes live vocal prowess. By the end of the long night — and especially during the striking closing number, the disco reverie “Summer Renaissance,” when she floated above the crowd like a deity on a glittering horse — she extended the microphone to lend out some of the high notes to her eager and adoring fans. “Until next time,” she said, keeping the stage banter relatively minimal and pat. “Drive home safe!”

Even when Beyoncé embraces styles and cultures known for their improvisational looseness, she still seems to be striving toward perfection — a pageant smile always threatens to break through the stank face. Commanding a stadium-sized audience, she was an introvert wearing an extrovert’s armor. That tension is part of both her boundless charm and her occasional limitations as a performer. And it makes moments of genuine spontaneity all the more prized.

Naturally, #RenaissanceWorldTour was trending on Twitter long after the show, but one of the clips that went viral was unplanned. During a rousing performance of her early hit “Diva,” Beyoncé accidentally dropped her sunglasses. She fumbled them for a second, mouthed an expletive as they fell to the ground, and gave a sincere, shrugging grin before snapping back into the choreography’s formation. For a fleeting moment, she seemed human after all.

Everything We Learned from Night One of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour

Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour Opening Night - Stockholm

I t’s the moment everyone’s been waiting for: Beyoncé finally kicked off her Renaissance World Tour in Stockholm, Sweden , Wednesday night. This comes close to a year after the release of her seventh album, RENAISSANCE , a period during which she has rarely acknowledged the album with interviews or public performances of the new music, nor put out any music videos to accompany the songs. Nonetheless, the BeyHive was still buzzing with excitement on social media as they shared clips of the stage, the merchandise, the view from different VIP sections, and, most importantly, the artist performing the songs live for the first time.

Beyoncé is gearing up for a second night at the Friends Arena in Stockholm. As she gets ready to hit the stage, let’s take a look at what was revealed in the first show that might offer an indication of what could happen on the rest of the highly anticipated tour. A lot has already happened—from Bey herself addressing the lack of visuals to her celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, in keeping with the themes of the album.

Here’s everything we learned from night one of the Renaissance World Tour.

Beyoncé said not to rush a queen for music videos

omg not beyoncé addressing the visuals i’m crying 😭 #RenaissanceWorldTour pic.twitter.com/xQ9AkBCp3p — rasmus (@rasmusbravado) May 10, 2023

If we haven’t learned by now, Beyoncé releases things when she is good and ready . This is her first solo album since 2016’s Lemonade , so we can’t act surprised that she told her fans to be patient and stop asking about the music videos. Her last solo albums, Lemonade , Beyoncé , and The Gift (a concept album for The Lion King ), all had visual components that included music videos for each song. This built up the expectation that RENAISSANCE would get the same treatment.

Beyoncé is online and knows her fans have been hounding her, and she has finally responded. During a break on the first night, a disembodied voice addressed the crowd as the words it spoke were displayed on stage: “Aww, you mad? Well, there’s no remedy for that, bitches… I know you’ve asked for the visuals. You’ve called for the Queen. But a Queen moves at her own pace, bitch. Decides when she wants to give you a f-cking taste. So get your fork and your spoon if you got one.”

She is cutting out some of her biggest hits to make room for the new album and deep cuts

Attendees at the concert in Stockholm filmed every moment for the world to see on social media, and many of Beyoncé’s fans were quite surprised by some of the songs she decided to perform. She opened the show with “Dangerously In Love” from her debut album of the same name and ran through a string of popular songs, both mainstream hits and fan favorites. At the opening night show, she also performed songs like “Rather Die Young,” “Flaws and All,” and “Black Parade,” which have not gotten much attention from Beyoncé in recent memory.

Some of Beyoncé’s most popular songs, many of which she has made a point to perform on past tours, are notably missing from the set list. “Run The World” fans, do not worry: she still performs the song. But those who are fans of “If I Were a Boy,” “Single Ladies,” and “Halo,” a notorious closer for Beyoncé—as evidenced by the Homecoming concert film and her Formation World Tour— may be disappointed.

Beyoncé brought back the Les Twins, who have accompanied her on multiple tours and performances

The Les Twins, Laurent and Larry, were approached by Beyoncé years ago after a video of them dancing went viral and they appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show . They were invited to perform with Beyoncé at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011, and she took them on the road with her for the Mrs. Carter World Tour, her joint On The Run Tour with Jay-Z, and her Coachella performance in 2018 . Her fans were excited to see the Les Twins back on stage with her for this new tour.

It was gay as hell: An unabashed celebration of the LGBTQ+ community

In the lead-up to the album, Beyoncé dedicated the project to her Uncle Johnny, who battled HIV when she was young. He is referenced in the song “HEATED,” and in the outro of the song, Beyoncé takes on the role of MC at a ball (a queer dance party) where she starts “reading.” All of these influences took center stage at the Renaissance World Tour and will make a strong statement when it comes stateside in July, given the wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation being introduced across the country.

BEYONCÉ IS HEATED😭😭😭 #RENAISSANCEtour pic.twitter.com/ddL9s1ByUA — 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘆🫧💚 (@beyoncegarden) May 10, 2023

One of the biggest displays of affection for her queer fans came even before the concert started. As concertgoers poured into the stadium, they were greeted with a fake TV error screen, but if you look closely, some of the colors are different. This error screen has the colors of the progress pride flag, which includes colors from the transgender pride flag, as well as brown and black to indicate the greater discrimination experienced by those members of the community. Twitter users joked, “Nashville is gonna be ready to arrest Beyoncé for this, lord Jesus,” referencing the state’s attempt to ban drag shows and broader attempts across the US to infringe on trans people’s rights.

There is also a ball that happens in the show. Beyoncé makes space for her dancers to vogue and dance to her song, “PURE/HONEY.”

Some people might recognize Honey Balenciaga from The House of Balenciaga, which appeared in season two of HBO Max’s Legendary . She was seen voguing on stage with the rest of Beyoncé’s dancers.

@legendaryvoguex HONEY BALENCIAGA @Honey. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE IT GIRL #RENAISSANCE ♬ original sound - Legendary Vogue X

As we’ve seen with other tours from major artists like Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and the 1975, their fervent fan base will keep everyone up to date on all the song changes, new outfits, and surprises that these artists pull out of their bag of tricks on the road. As we’ve seen with Swift’s notoriously sold-out Eras Tour, her fans made sure to give people who couldn’t get tickets a chance to see the tour play out online. Based on how night one played out, it seems like Beyoncé’s fans will be doing the same for those of us stuck at home.

Correction, May 11: The original version of this story misgendered Honey Balenciaga. She uses she/her pronouns.

By now we've all seen those TikToks from Beyoncé's Exclusive Dubai performance with her viral Siren-esque vocal runs (even though it was technically supposed to be a photo and video-free event, but we're not complaining 🤭). Those clips of Bey absolutely slaying in Dubai have been leaving us hot with Bey fever, so we literally jumped for joy when we saw that Beyoncé *finally* dropped the deets on her world tour.

The singer posted to her Instagram in a disco cowgirl ensemble to make the announcement. She looked fierce sitting atop a shimmering horse with a cowgirl hat to match and an intricate crystal bodysuit. She captioned the post, "RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR 2023." Beyoncé's last tour was in 2018 when she and her husband Jay-Z blessed us with their On The Run Tour .

"See you soon mother," a fan commented.

Beyoncé's album Renaissance set the music world on fire and broke records. Released on July 29, 2022, her album quickly landed at the number one spot on the Billboard 200, making her the first female artist to have all seven of her solo albums make it to first. Renaissance has been nominated for an astounding nine Grammys at this year's ceremony which will take place on February 5.

In a letter to her fans posted on her official website, Beyoncé wrote, "Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration."

Beyoncé Announces Her 2023 ‘Renaissance’ World Tour

'bey is back and i’m sleeping real good at night'.

beyonce renaissance world tour vip

Queen Bey is giving us exactly what we need. Beyoncé just announced that her highly anticipated Renaissance World Tour will take place this year. She shared the news on Instagram and posted a comprehensive list of 41 dates and locations on her official website .

It all will kick off in Stockholm on May 10, before moving across Europe, to Canada and North America, before concluding on Sept. 27 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Renaissance World Tour will have a mix of both stadium and arena performances.

The exciting announcement comes just ahead of the 2023 Grammy Awards, which will take place on Feb. 5, where Beyoncé will give her husband Jay-Z a run for his money as the most-nominated artist. The “Alien Superstar” singer has garnered nine nominations this year off her seventh studio album, Renaissance — making her an 88-time nominee.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce)

The “ Break My Soul ” singer recently returned to the stage after a four-year hiatus in quintessentially theatrical fashion at the new Atlantis the Royal Resort in Palm Jumeriah, Dubai on Jan. 21.

The songstress appeared with her extravagant entourage of background dancers, and the 48-member troupe of the all-female Dubaian orchestra Firdaus. Beyoncé sang the night away with some of her  greatest hits , such as “Crazy in Love,” “Halo” and “Drunk in Love.”

She also paid homage to the iconic Algerian singer Warda as her hit song “Batwanes Beek” played, and recreated her performance at President Obama’s 2015 inauguration, singing Etta James’s “At Last.” Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy also made an appearance on stage, along with the Lebanese dance group and winners of America’s Got Talent , Mayyas.

The 2023 Renaissance World Tour will mark Beyoncé’s first tour since her 2018 On the Run II Tour alongside Jay-Z, which celebrated their collaborative record Everything Is Love . Before this, her last solo headlining tour was the Formation World Tour, which took place in 2016 with music from her beloved album Lemonade .

Beyoncé dropped her first solo album in six years on July 29, with 16-tracks chock full of joyful and electrifying house music, paying homage to disco and queer club culture, and becoming the soundtrack of the summer.

While we spend all of our money on concert tickets, we’ll be rooting for Beyoncé to take home the gold at this year’s Grammy Awards .

Beyoncé Reveals She Had Planned to Release ‘Cowboy Carter’ Before ‘Renaissance’

Beyoncé may be Queen B, but when a higher power speaks, she listens — and that’s exactly what she did when it came to her Renaissance . The superstar revealed that though the first act in her trilogy made its debut in 2022, it was Cowboy Carter — which dropped Friday (March 29) — that she had originally planned to arrive first.

Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’: All 27 Tracks Ranked

The 32-time Grammy winner announced the follow-up to Renaissance during the 2024 Super Bowl in a Verizon ad that featured Tony Hale, and immediately dropped two songs: “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages,” offering the Beyhive a taste of her country -tinged album that features icons Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton.

But as Bey previously teased, “This ain’t a country album. This is a ‘Beyoncé’ album.” Indeed, the set features collaborators from various musical genres — including Post Malone and Miley Cyrus — as well as instruments such as the accordion, washboards, harmonicas and even her own nails.

“The joy of creating music is that there are no rules,” Beyoncé noted in the press release. “The more I see the world evolving the more I felt a deeper connection to purity. With artificial intelligence and digital filters and programming, I wanted to go back to real instruments, and I used very old ones. I didn’t want some layers of instruments like strings, especially guitars, and organs perfectly in tune. I kept some songs raw and leaned into folk. All the sounds were so organic and human, everyday things like the wind, snaps and even the sound of birds and chickens, the sounds of nature.”

Bey also opened up about her process, and revealed that she recorded many, many songs for the album.

She concluded in the release: “I think people are going to be surprised because I don’t think this music is what everyone expects, but it’s the best music I’ve ever made.”

20+ Best Beyoncé Gifts for Anyone Currently in Their ‘Cowboy Carter’ Era

By Sage Anderson

The Renaissance era may be over, but with Cowboy Carter , Beyoncé ‘s first full-length plunge into country music is sure to give us all something to “yeehaw” about. To kick off the hoedown, you can gift your fellow Beyoncé fan’s country act with something special, or just treat yourself to some goodies off the boot heels of her latest album release.

Luckily for you, the Beyhive does not play when it comes to supporting Queen Bey — we’ve seen fans (and been those fans) dropping big bucks on tickets for her Renaissance tour, but also head-to-toe themed outfits. But besides curating the rhinestone cowpolk aesthetic, we’ve seen sold out vinyl album packages, official Renaissance World Tour merch , and even a newly-released fragrance, so there’s certainly no shortage of Beyoncé gift ideas.

Don’t know where to start? Bey’s Amazon merch storefront is an easy place to grab officially-licensed tees, hoodies, hats and other Renaissance Tour merch still available right now (along with free two-day shipping with Prime , if you’re a chronic last-minute gift shopper). Want something something with more of a custom feel? There are plenty of Bey-themed gifts on Etsy and Amazon (like this coffee mug that features imagery from Act II , now Cowboy Carter ).

We’ve curated a list of the best Beyoncé gifts based on top-rated products from well-trusted brands along with fan recommendations. While “this ain’t Texas”, there plenty of great Beyoncé gifts out there for your besties’ birthday or special occasions, from cowboy hats to Cécred hair products, bee-shaped jewelry, and more.

1. Beyoncé Official Renaissance World Tour Merch Disco Cowboy Tee

Editor’s picks, the 250 greatest guitarists of all time, the 500 greatest albums of all time, the 50 worst decisions in movie history, every awful thing trump has promised to do in a second term, 2. stetson straw cowboy hat.

Queen B herself wore structured felt cowboy hats on tour (which are Stetson, by the way), but this easygoing Stetson straw version is a more casual option for everyday wear. Whether you tip your hat up at the beach, the cookout, or on the dance floor, you’ll be channeling Cowboy Carter style.

3. Beyoncé Act II Cowboy Carter Mug

Sip like Bey herself with this fan-made mug featuring iconic imagery from the Act II teasers before we even had the Cowboy Carter album title! So if you need someone who needs some drink in their cup, this mug will have them sipping coffee or tea (or anything else) and feeling like a boss.

4. Cowboy Carter Vinyl Edition

While we’re sure they’ve already been listening to Cowboy Carter on repeat since its release, with this “Bead Face” cover edition , they’ll get all the visuals that came along with that era, too. This vinyl releases on April 12 and includes the singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ’Em”. The latter hit made history with Beyoncé as the first Black woman ever to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

5. Dezi Booked 52mm Rectangular Sunglasses

Beyoncé fans are not happy that some 'cowboy carter' songs were cut from cd and vinyl, how to watch the duke vs. nc state march madness final four game tonight, on 'cowboy carter,' beyoncé isn't going country. she's reinventing american music in her own image, 6. beyoncé official renaissance world tour sticker pack.

This official Renaissance tour pack comes with 16 stickers featuring eye-catching images of Bey from songs like “Alien Superstar”, “Cuff It”, and “Cozy”. The best part is that they can either frame the stickers to make a unique piece of decor, or just slap them on their emotional support water bottle to keep the energy going into her next era.

7. Kilian Paris Angels Share Eau De Parfum

Beyoncé was seen shopping Kilian Paris Angels Share before she started developing her own Cé Noir fragrance. If they want to smell like Queen Bey herself (without the royal price tag) gift them the rollerball travel size of this warm and sweet gourmand scent with notes of cognac, Tonka bean, and sandalwood with a praline and vanilla finish.

8. Beyoncé Official Renaissance World Tour Merch Sweatpants

If you want to get them something cozy, Beyoncé’s Amazon Music exclusive merch launch also included both a pair of these oversized heavyweight cotton sweatpants which are perfect for lounging. The pants come in a range of sizes and include a subtle “Renaissance World Tour” printed on one side of the leg, which is nice if they want something a little less flashy to show off their Queen B devotion.

9. Telfar Small Shopping Bag

“This Telfar bag imported,” Beyoncé sang on “Summer Renaissance”. “Birkins? Them shit’s in storage.” Any Bey fan would be obsessed with having their own “Bushwick Birkin”, but if you don’t want to brave the drops or wait weeks to buy this coveted handbag, this purple colorway is available now on Amazon Prime.

10. Little Golden Book: Beyonce: A Little Golden Book Biography

If they’re not only a Queen B, but a Mama B , then this illustrated biography is perfect for any moms who want to get their little ones started early. Meant for the youngest members of the Beyhive, this picture book follows Beyoncé’s rise to fame, from starting out in Destiny’s Child, to becoming an (alien) superstar.

11. Zoe Lev 14k Gold Bee Stud Earrings

Crafted by sustainable, LA-based jewelry brand Zoe Lev, these chic and dainty 14k yellow gold bee stud earrings make the perfect splurge-worthy gift for the bougiest Beyoncé fans. Looking for a more budget-friendly alternative? These playful bumble bee studs from Amazon remind us of her iconic honey bee RWT costume.

12. Expression Tees Heated Hand Fan

Now this is a fan that’ll make you go “yada, yada, yada, bom-bom, kah-kah!” This one’s for the true fans who were heated when they couldn’t find any official “Heated” hand fans on the merch table during the Renaissance tour — hence, gift this endlessly clappable version from Amazon so they can put on their own performance.

13. Makeup Masterclass with Sir John

Celebrity makeup artist Sir John, who has beat the face of the Queen herself, has been Beyoncé’s long-time collaborator — and now you can gift them a lesson from the master. This Masterclass program will help them transform their makeup skills, build a skincare routine, and learn three of Sir John’s most sought-after looks: the “No-Makeup” look, the “Everyday” look, and the “Icon” look. Right now, MasterClass has also discounted its yearly subscription rate 15%, which brings the price down on its annual billing to  $108 for the Individual plan .

14. Beyoncé Official Renaissance World Tour Merch On Air Hat

This is the original IYKYK hat for folks that attended the tour itself (or watched the Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé in theaters). The dad hat is perfect for the queen that needs a break from their crowd, and features a double-sided print, the same one found on the tour graphic tee and On Air hoodie .

15. Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith’s Rosebud Salve

While I’m not sure we’ll ever get Beyoncé’s full skincare routine, even back as early as 2011 Beyoncé has confirmed that she used Smith’s Rosebud Salve to wear with her lipstick and even prime her lashes before curling. Your giftee will appreciate having this little piece of Bey history as a part of their daily routine.

16. Scandinordica Disco Ball Planter

The entire summer of RWT was disco ball and chrome everything as far as the eyes could see. For the friend who still wants a little bit of club Renaissance energy in their home, this sparkly disco ball planter makes the perfect gift.

17. Beyoncé Official Renaissance World Tour Merch Summer T-Shirt

Category: Bey, and you’ll score 10s across the board with this t-shirt gift from the Renaissance tour. This breathable cotton tee cost $20 (less than at your average concert merch booth!) and has that Cowboy Carter -esque design that’ll come in the clutch for Act II.

18. Everybody On Mute Patch

The “look around, everybody on mute” part of RWT definitely challenged some cities’ ability to shut their mouths, but it did give us some iconic moments. Relive that moment with this patch that’ll help remind others not to disturb your giftee when it’s not necessary.

19. On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray

Trump launches another attack on judge's daughter, this time with photos, 'snl' cold open: indicted trump hawks bible complete with miranda rights, trump allies plan to reinterpret civil rights laws to protect white people: report, 20. liberté egalité beyoncé.

Who runs the world? Beyoncé, that’s who, and this coffee table book brings Queen Bey’s most inspiring and empowering quotes, and moments of fierceness together, along with lovely illustrations, to help you wake up feeling, well. Like this!

21. Vanilla by Diptyque Scented Candle

Who doesn’t love a good scented candle (or being gifted one)? This is something we all share with Beyoncé, who reportedly loves the “warm, sweet scent” and of this Vanilla Diptyque candle . “I have a lot of Diptyque candles around the house,” the artist once told  InStyle .

Beyoncé Fans Confused Over Five Missing Tracks on ‘Cowboy Carter’ Vinyl, Fueling Theories About Last-Minute Changes

Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” arrived on Friday to critical acclaim , ushering listeners into her new era. But some fans who received their physical copies were confused that tracks included on the digital release were missing, with four omitted from the CD and five from the LP.

Those who have complained directly with the album’s retailer were met with an automated response that they were “experiencing a higher volume of emails than usual” and that their concerns would be addressed in three to four days.

Fans speculate that Beyoncé initially met the deadline for CD and vinyl pressing, which can often be months before an album’s release, but decided to add in more songs after manufacturing began. This has likely been a wrinkle in recent vinyl pressings for other pop stars: Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” vinyl only came with 10 songs (the streaming version has 22 tracks), and Ariana Grande’s “Eternal Sunshine” featured a version of “Supernatural” missing some vocals.

But what confuses this theory is that musicians who contributed to “II Most Wanted,” a duet with Miley Cyrus , said they were working on the song last month. One Nickel Creek member posted a story on Instagram that they were asked to play on the tune “a month or so ago,” putting the recording timeline somewhere in February. “II Most Wanted” appears on the vinyl in the same form as the digital version, so it’s unclear if new pressings were issued to include it or if pressings first began in the month leading up to release.

On the CD and limited edition vinyl pressings of the album, the spine reads “Act II — Beyincé — Beyoncé,” and the covers show a picture of the singer wearing a sash embroidered with “Beyincé.” The only mention of “Cowboy Carter” is a sticker placed on the packaging. The album itself has two mentions of “Cowboy Carter”: Once by Beyoncé on “Ya Ya,” which was excluded from the vinyl edition, and another by Dolly Parton on the introduction to “Tyrant,” which was included.

While of course, this is all speculation — Beyoncé and her team keep their cards close — some are holding out hope that an additional bonus track might end up on the Target edition of the album. For now, physical media enthusiasts will have to settle for a shorter listening experience.

Beyoncé

Beyoncé’s newest album Cowboy Carter is already setting records.

Not even 24 hours after its release, Spotify revealed that the Grammy-winning artist’s country album became its most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 so far. The music giant also noted that it was the first time a country album had held that title this year.

Since being dropped, fans have been flooding social media with their reactions to the highly-anticipated project that marks Beyoncé’s first studio album in the genre. It’s also a notably special project for the singer, as she has previously expressed feeling not “welcomed” in country space during past attempts to enter the genre.

“This genre forced me to propel past the limitations that were put on me,” she wrote on Instagram earlier this month. “Act ii is a result of challenging myself, and taking my time to bend and blend genres together to create this body of work.”

Earlier Friday, it was also announced that Cowboy Carter broke records on Amazon Music — making it Beyoncé’s biggest album debut to date. The album scored more first-day streams on Amazon Music globally than any of her previous albums, as well as marked the most first-day streams for a country album by a female artist in the history of Amazon Music.

Cowboy Carter , which features tracks “Jolene,” “II Most Wanted,” “Bodyguard,” “Sweet Honey Buckin’” and more, is currently streaming across music platforms.
