Following a successful first outing that helped revitalize North Wilkesboro Speedway, the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour is now set for its second visit to the historic track as part of week-long festivities heading into the NASCAR All-Star Race.

A lot has changed for the series since 30 cars took the green flag in front of a sold-out North Wilkesboro crowd on Aug. 31. Along with new ownership, both divisions will have an opportunity to race at the facility, with the CARS Pro Late Model Tour and Late Model Stock Car Tour running the Crossroads Harley-Davidson 75 and Window World 125 respectively.

Since a surplus of entries were expected for the Window World 125, the CARS Tour elected to put a cap on the car count for the feature while simultaneously expanding the field to 38 cars from 30. The current top 26 in LMSC Tour owner points automatically earned bids for the Window World 125, with the remaining 13 positions being determined by series and promoter’s provisionals.

No limit was placed on entries for the Crossroads Harley-Davidson 75, as nearly 50 cars in the PLM Tour are seeking the chance to race at North Wilkesboro. Only 39 cars will take the green flag in that race, with the top 36 being determined by qualifying speed and the final two spots going to provisional starters.

With a star-studded cast featuring short track legends, promising young stars, and NASCAR veterans like Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski and Ross Chastain, the CARS Tour’s return to North Wilkesboro is expected to exceed the series’ first race at the facility in regard to anticipation, notoriety and intensity.

RIGGS EAGER TO RACE WILKESBORO

cars tour at north wilkesboro

Commitments to the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series championship prevented Layne Riggs from attempting the CARS LMSC Tour’s first visit to North Wilkesboro Speedway in 2022.

There was no way Riggs was planning on missing the series’ return to the historic facility. Although he had to use a provisional to make the North Wilkesboro field with only two starts on the 2023 season, Riggs believes he can excel on such a big stage for the LMSC Tour.

“It’s going to be even bigger than last year,” Riggs said. “There was so much hype with Dale Jr. racing and it being the first race back at North Wilkesboro, but because of the All-Star Race, there’s going to be so much attention drawn to the Late Models. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to race and I’m looking forward to it.”

Riggs admitted he and his team are entering North Wilkesboro slightly behind since most of their competition have full notebooks from the event last August.

From what he was able to observe in 2022, Riggs anticipates a tire conservation race on Wednesday like those seen at Hickory Motor Speedway and Florence Motor Speedway. While Riggs has never been an expert at saving tires, he does believe his team is making progress on creating a setup that will thrive at North Wilkesboro.

Track position is expected to be imperative in a field consisting of nearly 40 cars, which is why Riggs intends to keep his car at the front of the pack with the goal of adding his name to the prestigious list of drivers who have a North Wilkesboro win on their resume.

“[A win at North Wilkesboro] would be my biggest victory so far,” Riggs said. “Everybody loves to win Martinsville, but I haven’t had a chance to do that. North Wilkesboro would be right up there for me. It isn’t a big money race, but it will have more attention than any Late Model Stock race has had in over 30 years.”

DIAZ READY FOR WILKES FOLLOW UP

cars tour at north wilkesboro

Mason Diaz, pictured at Southern National Motorsports Park in 2020. (Andy Marquis/Short Track Scene photo)

Mason Diaz was one spot away from earning the distinction of being the first Late Model Stock winner at North Wilkesboro Speedway since 1996.

Diaz’ path from the middle of the pack to second place required a tremendous amount of patience, but the veteran short track racer is confident he can finish one spot better on Wednesday evening and build momentum with Chad Bryant Racing.

“It was a long night [in 2022], but it meant a lot to get up there to the front at the finish,” Diaz said. “No one really had me circled as someone who could finish up front, but we qualified 20 th and slowly made our way through the field.”

Despite setting up the car tight for qualifying, Diaz admitted there was more he could have done to position himself better for last year’s 125-lap Late Model Stock feature.

Qualifying has remained an issue for Diaz through the first four races in 2023, as his best starting position so far was seventh in the season-opener at Southern National Motorsports Park. Diaz knows starting outside of the Top 10 creates more pressure on him to use up his equipment and hopes North Wilkesboro serves as the first step towards rectifying that problem.

With more notes and more competitors to deal with in 2023, Diaz anticipates drivers to get aggressive in Wednesday’s Window World 125. Diaz feels more comfortable racing at North Wilkesboro compared to 2022 and wants nothing more than to defeat the best in short track and NASCAR for a win at the iconic facility.

“We were close last year, and I want that elevator ride as much as the next person,” Diaz said. “It would also mean a lot to get my first CARS Tour win, but doing so at North Wilkesboro would be even more cool.”

JARRETT BUTCHER SET FOR DEBUT

cars tour at north wilkesboro

Both Butcher brothers will be contending for victories during the two-day festivities at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

While Cole pursues a checkered flag in the ASA STARS National Tour, his younger brother Jarrett plans to make his CARS PLM Tour debut in the family-owned No. 53. Jarrett considers North Wilkesboro to be a perfect venue for his first PLM Tour race and hopes to be one of the 38 starters to take the green flag on Wednesday.

“I’m pretty excited,” Jarrett said. “This is going to be a pretty cool event to go to and it’ll be a packed house. The field is going to be very tough, so I’m a little nervous about that, but there’s a lot I’m looking forward to as well.”

Jarrett credits Cole for being the main influence behind his team bringing both a Super Late Model and Pro Late Model to North Wilkesboro for All-Star week.

Although he is from Porters Lake, Nova Scotia, Jarrett is familiar with the history surrounding North Wilkesboro as one of NASCAR’s original tracks. He was thrilled to see the facility host racing once again in 2022 and hopes to add his own history to North Wilkesboro in the Crossroads Harley-Davidson 75.

Despite having made three starts in the prestigious Snowflake 100, Jarrett believes the 100-lap PLM Tour race will be the toughest he has ever qualified for in his brief career, which is why he plans to explicitly focus on developing a setup that will get him solid track position for the main event.

“This isn’t going to be a high momentum track with the [Pro Late Model],” Jarrett said. “The corners are pretty tight, so you’ll have to rely a lot on practice and make sure you get a good baseline setup for time trials. This track suits my style since its flatter compared to Pensacola, so it would mean a lot to get a win here.”

Qualifying for the CARS LMSC and PLM Tour will take place on the same day as their respective races. The Crossroads Harley-Davidson 75 is set to go green at 8 p.m. ET immediately followed by the Window World 125, with both races being broadcasted live on FloRacing.

CARS LMSC Tour heading to historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in August

cars tour at north wilkesboro

The long-awaited revival of North Wilkesboro Speedway later this year will include the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour.

Wrapping up a busy August at the historic track will be a Late Model Stock Car race sanctioned by the CARS Tour, in which the series regulars and a few other notable names will battle it out for the opportunity to add a North Wilkesboro victory to their resume.

Planning out a race at North Wilkesboro has been a long, meticulous process for CARS Tour owner Jack McNelly and director of operations Keeley Dubensky. Now that all the details have been sorted with XR Events CEO Barry Braun, Dubensky is eager to see drivers on track for what she believes will be one of the most storied events in the history of Late Model Stock Car competition.

“We are overwhelmed with the amount of support from our competitors and fans,” Dubensky said. “The nostalgia and excitement surrounding this event speaks for itself. I’m excited to introduce Barry and his team to our Late Model Stock program and put our heads together to create something special for everyone to enjoy and remember for years to come.”

The inaugural visit to North Wilkesboro for the CARS LMSC Tour will count towards the championship.

A full entry list of 30 cars has already been established for the feature, but the actual race structure has yet to be determined. Dubensky added that the starting grid could be expanded to include 38 cars but doing so would reduce the number of laps from 125 to 75 to conserve tires.

The CARS LMSC Tour drivers automatically locked into North Wilkesboro include every Touring 12 member as well as those who have competed in all six races so far. Positions in the field have also been secured by a handful of outsiders, whose inclusion will be announced within the next couple of months.

On-track activities for the CARS LMSC Tour are going to take place over the course of two days. Details on the schedule are still being finalized, but Dubensky would prefer to have practice and qualifying during the day on Aug. 30 prior to holding the feature on Aug. 31.

Simply making plans for a race at North Wilkesboro was something that McNelly thought to be impossible just a couple of years ago. He is grateful for all the strenuous effort put in by XR Events to make the event happen and is ready to see how the track races after a decade of being dormant.

“We’re looking forward to being an integral part of this event,” McNelly said. “We’re eager to work with XR Events and all of us are excited to showcase our series and its competitors on a big stage.”

Dubensky and McNelly intend to iron out a full plan for the CARS LMSC Tour race with Braun, who is excited to have the series on an itinerary that includes races for Touring Modifieds, the CRA Super Series and the Super Cup Stock Car Series.

With the old pavement at North Wilkesboro set to be removed in September, Braun said that ending the month with a CARS LMSC Tour race is an appropriate way to honor the history of the facility while simultaneously ushering in a new era for racing.

“The CARS Tour at North Wilkesboro will be the perfect fit to wrap up the pavement racing month,” Braun said. “It is a perfect mix of grassroots racing and legends to cap the revitalization of this historic track.”

Anticipation will only build for the CARS LMSC Tour’s first visit to North Wilkesboro ahead of the green flag, which will fly on a talented field of drivers on Aug. 31 at approximately 7 p.m..

CARS Tour Unveils North Wilkesboro Speedway Entry List

CARS Tour officials unveiled their Late Model Stock Car roster for the highly-anticipated return to the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway on Wednesday, May 17. The field, which is capped at 38 cars, is stacked from top to bottom with talent from across the CARS Tour and NASCAR worlds.

2023 CARS Tour at North Wilkesboro Speedway

The car count cap was raised from 30 a year ago to 38 for this May’s extravaganza. The top 26 in CARS Tour owner points make up a large portion of the field, plus guaranteed spots for any “Touring 12” drivers not already in the top 26. The remainder of the field will be made up of current or former NASCAR Cup Series competitors.

Headlining the entry list for the Window World 125 is NASCAR Hall of Famer and two-time Daytona 500 champion, Dale Earnhardt Jr . Earnhardt ran this event last August with the CARS Tour and finished third.

Earnhardt isn’t the only driver with strong NASCAR ties on this list, either. Two past champions in Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski will be going back to their Late Model roots.

Harvick will be racing a car out of the Kevin Harvick Inc. shop in Harrisburg, North Carolina prepared by his Cup Series crew chief and former Late Model Stock standout, Rodney Childers.

Keselowski will be racing a car prepared out of the Hedgecock Racing stables with his familiar No. 6 adorning the doors and roof.

It’s time to go back to my roots. I’m excited to head to @NWBSpeedway next week behind the wheel of the No. 6 @fr8auctions Ford for the @CARSTour race! 😊👍🏼 pic.twitter.com/op3QJYbezw — Brad Keselowski (@keselowski) May 9, 2023

Joining Harvick is his Stewart-Haas Racing teammate, Chase Briscoe, who will be making his pavement Late Model debut in a car prepared by Chad Bryant Racing. Briscoe’s history with Chad Bryant goes way back to his ARCA Menards Series days when Bryant was his crew chief. Briscoe will be a teammate to Mason Diaz and Connor Hall.

And then there’s also the Trackhouse Racing duo of Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez , the latter of which will also be making his LMSC debut much like Briscoe. Chastain will be racing a car prepared by Pinnacle Racing Group out of Mooresville, North Carolina, while Suarez will be running a R and S Race Cars machine and will be teammates to three-time CARS Tour champion Bobby McCarty, and Conner Jones.

The drivers and teams using a series provisional are Isabella Robusto for Lee Faulk Racing, Layne Riggs, Bryant Barnhill, Cameron Bolin, and Josh Dickens.

The Window World 125 caps off a massive two nights of Late Model racing at North Wilkesboro Speedway during NASCAR's All Star Week. It all kicks off on Tuesday, May 16 with a 150-lap feature for the ASA STARS National Tour Super Late Models. Then on Wednesday the CARS Tour will run a doubleheader featuring a 75-lap showdown for the Pro Late Models and the Late Model Stock Car Window World 125.

Both nights of Late Model racing from North Wilkesboro Speedway will be broadcast live exclusively on FloRacing. Race fans can subscribe to FloRacing by clicking here .

Millington Looking for Another Ace Trophy

Ryan Millington earned his first zMAX CARS Tour victory in 2020 at Ace Speedway and will be a threat to challenge for the top spot again this weekend. Millington, whose family team consists of himself and his father, Scott, have put together quite a record on the quick layout at Ace. Since 2018, Millington has finished no worse than eighth in CARS Tour action here. The Statesville, N.C. native is fast nearly everywhere he goes, but especially at Ace, as he won pole for CARS Tour events in both 2019 and 2022. After four races so far, Millington is eighth in LMSC points, just 32 markers off the top spot.

Sawalich Seeks Another First Place at Ace

William Sawalich won the Pro Late Model race here in the summer of 2022, driving his familiar Starkey Sound Gear-clad racer. The young Minnesotan returns this weekend in hopes of earning another in the Pro Late Model division. The 18-year-old has had a busy season so far, winning at Phoenix Raceway in ARCA Menards Series and earning a pair of pole positions in his two series starts.

McCarty Showing Championship Form

Three-time LMSC champion Bobby McCarty has been solid at every stop on the season schedule thus far, winning at New River All-American Speedway and controlling the most recent event at Orange County Speedway before a crash ended his night in 24 th . Prior to that, McCarty earned a 10 th -place finish in the season opener at Southern National Motorsports Park, ran to sixth place at Hickory Motor Speedway and led 49 laps at New River All-American on the way to victory. Should McCarty finish in the top five on Friday in his No. 6 Black Acid Apparel Ford, it will mark his 40 th top-five finish in 83 zMAX CARS Tour LMSC races.

Davis Seeks Pro Win at Ace Spencer Davis has shown a lot of speed in the three Pro LM races he’s competed in this season with the zMAX CARS Tour, finishing sixth in the season opener at SNMS, second at Hickory and third at Orange County. That’s an average finish of 3.6, and Davis is looking to improve that number this weekend at Ace. The 25-year-old Dawsonville, Ga. native has competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, the ARCA Menards Series and the NASCAR Whelen Modified tours in his career, as well as winning Pro Late Model races across the Southeast. His No. 29 Bolen Construction Chevrolet has been a factor all season, and Davis would like to end up in Victory Lane.

Brandon Jones Joins CARS Tour on Off-Weekend JR Motorsports NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Brandon Jones will compete this weekend in the LMSC division, teaming up again with Hawk-McCall Racing to race the No. 9 Chevrolet this weekend and in two more CARS Tour events at North Wilkesboro Speedway and Hickory Motor Speedway. Jones and Hawk-McCall Racing won at Concord (N.C.) Motor Speedway back in 2012. “It’s truly an honor to be back with Hawk-McCall Racing after all these years,” said Jones. “The opportunity to reunite with the team brings back fond memories of our past successes, particularly our win at Concord Speedway in 2012. It’s incredible to reflect on how far we’ve come since then, transitioning from the early days of my career at just 14 years old with Lee McCall, to now being 27 and ready to bring a decade more of experiences to the table.”

The green flag for the AcceleratedGFX.com 285 is set to wave at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, beginning with the zMAX CARS Pro Late Model Tour’s 100-lap feature. FloRacing will provide qualifying and race coverage for both CARS Tour divisions. NASCAR, North Wilkesboro announce new format for All-Star Race. Here’s what to expect

The format has been set for NASCAR’s return to North Wilkesboro .

Next month’s All-Star Race, featuring recent Cup Series points-race winners and champions, will debut a new strategy that requires teams to make choices among different types of tires during their pit stops. There will also be a new qualifying procedure and a pit crew challenge.

NASCAR’s annual exhibition event, scheduled for 8 p.m. Sunday, May 19, is being held at the newly-paved historic 0.625-mile oval in Wilkes County for the second straight year. The stars of the auto racing’s highest circuit will race for a grand prize of $1 million.

Prime, Option and Wet-Weather: Three different tires will be used

Teams will be given nine sets of Goodyear tires for the entirety of the weekend as NASCAR experiments with new tires.

There will be a baseline “prime” tire, which was developed through last month’s test at North Wilkesboro . The “option” tires will be slicker and made with the same rubber as wet-weather tires, but should be a softer tire with more grip and faster wear. Those “wet-weather” tires will be on-hand as well, should the track get wet.

The prime tires will have yellow “Goodyear Eagle” lettering, while it’ll be a distinct red on the option tires and white on the wet-weather ones.

NASCAR officials have been exploring ways to enhance the short-track package since the tire wear that the resin caused in the March 17 race at Bristol . The Easter night race at Richmond started on wet-weather tires , which have shown strong wear, so this exhibition race will be an opportunity to see if a hybrid using some of their rubber and treads to make the new slick “option” tires.

Pit Crew Challenge will be incorporated into qualifying format

Next month’s All-Star Race will combine a traditional qualifying session with the pit crew challenge .

Drivers will run one lap at full speed, then a second lap to a designated pit stall for a four-tire stop and a mock fuel delivery. They’ll complete the qualifying attempt by coming off pit road and racing to the checkered flag. Their qualifying time will be the total time elapsed from green flag to checkered flag, and the winner will start both the All-Star Race and first heat race on the pole.

Which drivers will be eligible?

All winners of Cup Series points-paying races since the start of the 2023 season, along with previous Cup champions who still race full-time.

That includes: Ross Chastain, Kyle Larson, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, AJ Allmendinger, Chris Buescher, Martin Truex Jr., Christopher Bell, Joey Logano, William Byron, Michael McDowell, Tyler Reddick, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Daniel Suarez. Shane Van Gisbergen is eligible but does not plan to enter .

Fans can vote up to five times a day to nominate a driver for a chance to compete in the All-Star Race with the Fan Vote poll , which closes at 5:30 p.m. on May 19. The winner will be revealed before engines are fired on Sunday night.

Rick Ware Racing posted a video to social media Tuesday evening after the Fan Vote opened promoting Justin Haley, who drives their No. 51 Ford Mustang.

NASCAR, North Wilkesboro Speedway Announce 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race Format

1

NASCAR and Speedway Motorsports today announced details for the 2024 NASCAR All-Star Race to be held on Sunday, May 19, for the second consecutive year at the newly paved North Wilkesboro Speedway. While the simplified format will return this season – featuring two heat races to set the All-Star Race starting lineup, a 100-lap All-Star Open, and a 200-lap main event – several new features will debut including a tire strategy element, a new Qualifying / Pit Crew Challenge format and pitting requirements. The spotlight will be on the stars of the sport as they take on these new challenges at the historic .625-mile track in the annual exhibition event for the grand prize of $1 million.

The signature new element in this season’s format centers around tire type and allotment. Potentially, three different tires will be utilized throughout the event weekend— a “prime tire” (the baseline tire assessed in last month’s Goodyear Tire Test at North Wilkesboro Speedway), an “option tire” (slick tires, but made with the same rubber as the wet weather tire, making it a softer tire with more grip and faster wear) and “wet weather” (the wet weather tire only used if the track is wet). The ‘Goodyear Eagle’ lettering will be yellow on the prime tires, red on the option tires, and white on the wet weather tires.

The particulars on the tires:

  • Teams will be allotted nine sets of tires for the event weekend.
  • For practice, qualifying, the heat races, and the Open, teams will be allotted three sets of prime tires and two sets of option tires.
  • For the All-Star Race, teams will have two sets each of primes and options.
  • All four tires on the car must be of the same type at all times.
  • Only the prime tire will be used during both qualifying sessions.
  • For practice, the heat races, and the NASCAR All-Star Open, teams will have the option to start on any type of tire.
  • All teams will start on the option tire for the All-Star Race.

“After a successful return to North Wilkesboro Speedway last season, we are thrilled to bring the action back to one of NASCAR’s most iconic and storied tracks,” said John Probst, NASCAR Senior Vice President and Chief Racing Development Officer. “The spotlight will certainly be on the crew chiefs and drivers as they plan their tire strategy for this special race. In testing, the softer tires were significantly faster -- but wore much quicker. Goodyear has been an incredible partner in this All-Star element, and it will be fascinating to watch how crew chiefs and drivers manage this unique challenge.”

The NASCAR All-Star Race will be 200 laps with two All-Star cautions at lap 100, and lap 150. At the lap 100 break, teams must perform a four-tire pit stop, using any tire of their choosing. All laps (caution and green flag) will count, and NASCAR Overtime rules will be in effect.

Saturday’s All-Star Open will give drivers who are not guaranteed a spot in the main event a chance to race their way into the All-Star Race. The 100-lap Open will have an All-Star caution at Lap 50, at which time teams must perform a four-tire pit stop. At the end, three Open drivers will advance to the All-Star Race – the top two race finishers and the Fan Vote Winner. NASCAR All-Star Race Fan Voting is now open on NASCAR.com/fanvote.

“This format will challenge drivers, crew chiefs and pit crews from Friday through Sunday, and strategy will play a huge part in who takes home the $1 million prize,” said Speedway Motorsports President and CEO Marcus Smith. “The All-Star Race has always been a place for innovation, from its very creation in 1985 to racing under the lights, unique paint schemes and double-file restarts. Now we have an old-school, short track format developed by Dale Jr. plus a new twist on tires courtesy of NASCAR and Goodyear. Kevin Harvick gave great input on stepping up the impact of qualifying. Throw it all together at North Wilkesboro and we’ve got something special for the 40th running of the NASCAR All-Star Race.”

All-Star weekend festivities will begin Friday evening with the All-Star Open qualifying and Pit Crew Challenge. While last season’s qualifying was based solely on the results of the Pit Crew Challenge, this season combines the traditional qualifying effort with the Pit Crew Challenge element. Drivers will take the green flag, run one full lap at speed, and on the second lap proceed to one of two NASCAR designated pit stalls for a four-tire stop with mock fuel delivery. When the pit stop is complete, the cars will exit pit road and race back to the checkered flag. The qualifying time will be the total elapsed time from green flag to checkered flag, and the pole sitter will start on the pole for Heat Race 1 and the All-Star.

The pit crew with the fastest stop during the All-Star qualifying attempt (no penalties) is the winner of the Pit Crew Challenge. Timing lines are established one box behind and one box ahead of the NASCAR designated pit stop boxes. Pit Crew Challenge results will determine pit picking order.

Saturday night will feature two 60-lap heat races that will determine the starting lineup for the All-Star Race among drivers already locked into the field. There will be an All-Star caution at lap 30 of each heat race; teams must perform a four-tire pit stop. The results of Heat 1 will establish the inside row, and the results of Heat 2 will establish the outside row. The action-packed weekend will conclude Sunday night with the All-Star Open and All-Star Race.

“The emphasis on tire strategy and returning to an old-school qualifying approach are both great moves to give the entire weekend more impact,” said Harvick, who will call his first NASCAR All-Star Race for FOX Sports. “Being able to walk away from qualifying with both a Pit Crew Challenge champion and a locked-in pole winner elevates the event for both the fans and the teams.”

Drivers eligible for the NASCAR All-Star Race include those who’ve won a points event in either 2023 or 2024, drivers who’ve won a NASCAR All-Star Race and compete fulltime, and drivers who’ve won a NASCAR Cup Series championship and compete fulltime.

Drivers who have already clinched an All-Star Race spot include: AJ Allmendinger, Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney, Chris Buescher, Kyle Busch, William Byron, Ross Chastain, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, Michael McDowell, Tyler Reddick, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Daniel Suárez, Martin Truex Jr., and Shane van Gisbergen.

The NASCAR All-Star Race will air live on FS1, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 19.

NASCAR All-Star Race Week ticket packages as well as single day tickets for all May 14 – 19 events are on sale now. Tuesday and Wednesday feature the zMAX CARS Tour with The Reverend 100 Pro Late Model race Tuesday night and the Window World 125 Late Model Stock race Wednesday evening.  All-Star Friday presented by Raymer Oil includes NASCAR Cup and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series practice sessions, the NASCAR Pit Crew Challenge presented by Mechanix Wear and a Neal McCoy concert. Saturday features NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series qualifying and the Wright Brand 250 race, Trackside Live with Kenny Wallace, John Roberts and Jose Castillo plus two NASCAR Cup Series All-Star heat races. Sunday’s schedule includes pre-race concerts by Warren Zeiders and Tim Dugger, the NASCAR All-Star Open and the NASCAR All-Star Race. Tickets can be purchased online at www.northwilkesborospeedway.com.
