What to Wear to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, Broken Down by Era
Whether you duked it out with Ticketmaster for tickets or are just going as a very lucky plus-one, you need an outfit that matches the vibe.
If you’re anything like team Marie Claire, you’ve been waiting for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour from the minute that it was announced. And whether you duked it out with Ticketmaster for tickets or are just going as a very lucky plus-one, you need an outfit that matches the vibe. Or, should I say, matches the eras of Swift’s music.
As a fan who got to attend the show in Boston recently, I was amazed at the wide array of looks at my show. Fans were decked out in Reputation -era snake print, glitter-encrusted face paint inspired by Swift's Lovers album cover, and plenty of DIY’d T-shirts from her Speak Now days. The bottom line? The looks varied widely, proving that you can truly go in any direction when picking your outfit for the Eras tour.
I love getting dressed up for concerts, but I also want to make sure that I can wear my new pieces again and again. It was a question I asked myself over and over while shopping for my own Eras Tour ensemble: Is the look good for me for right now, or good for me forever? In the end, I opted for a bedazzled mesh dress that I could also wear again on a night out over jeans or a slip dress . For the show, I opted to style it over a bodysuit for added coverage.
If you’re heading to the show this summer, there are a few key things to keep in mind, no matter what you wear. The show is long—five hours from the beginning of the opening act to the end of Swift’s set!—so you’ll want to wear comfortable clothing. Plus, if you’re the kind of fan who spends the majority of the concert jumping and dancing like you’re alone in your bedroom, you’ll want to wear something that you don’t have to worry about adjusting. Comfortable footwear is a must, so make sure that your new shoes don’t require breaking in before you go. Finally, the temperature tends to drop at night—especially if you’re at one of Swift’s rainier shows—so packing waterproof layers in your stadium-approved clear bag is key. (I wish I had packed a sweater.)
Ahead, I rounded up a selection of pieces for you to wear to the Eras Tour, broken down by Era. I’ve tried to think of everything: the shoes I’ve selected are known for being comfortable from the first wear. The dresses are comfortable to both sit and move around in. The jackets add warmth when you need them. Plus, many of the pieces below fall in line with some of summer 2023's biggest fashion trends .
Taylor Swift's Debut Album Era
If you’re dying for a debut self-titled album Secret Song at your show, wear something that harkens back to Swift’s first-ever era. This time in her career was defined by pastel blue and green shades, her iconic curling-iron curls, and her country twang. Consider cowboy boots and sweet tulle skirts.
Taylor Swift's 'Fearless' Era
Prefer gold to silver? The Fearless era is for you. This album had it all: Fireworks! A sparkly gold guitar! A gold fringed dress! More was more. To make it work, incorporate gold into your look via a pair of trendy sneakers , a going-out top in the hue, or by wearing a pair of viral gold jeans.
Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now' Era
Speak Now was defined by one color and one color only: A rich purple. It's the color Swift is wearing on the cover of the album, and it's the shade that has stayed attached to the record ever since. Sweet midi dresses and shoes that come in the same shade are go-tos for this era.
Taylor Swift's 'Red' Era
Red makes for an easy outfit because it only requires that you wear one color—red. Swift also went slightly preppy while on tour for the album, opting for a classic Breton striped shirt and red high-waisted denim . No matter which outfit vibe you choose, don’t forget your heart-shaped sunglasses.
Taylor Swift's '1989' Era
1989 is one of the more unique albums in Swift’s discography regarding her looks. While she repped matching sets on tour for the album, she's opted for orange ensembles while on the current Eras Tour.
Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' Era
My personal favorite era as someone who loves to wear all-black, Reputation- inspired outfits are perfect for those who prefer a little drama. From the actual sheer mesh dress I wore to my own concert to a statement-making choker necklace priced at under $50, this era is all about going all-out.
Taylor Swift's 'Lover' Era
If you love playing with color, consider a Lover- era ensemble for your concert. The key colors for this era were bright Barbiecore pink and rich blue, but pastel shades like baby pink and lavender —a trending color for 2023—were also popular. Go all-out with a heart-shaped stencil around your eye, or heart-shaped earrings.
Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Era
Folklore was a departure from the previous maximalist Lover era. The aesthetic for the album was a combination of woodland fairy and cottagecore. On-stage, this translates to flowing summer dresses in muted shades like olive green. IRL, pair lacy layers with chunky cardigans and sweet Mary Jane shoes.
Taylor Swift's 'Evermore' Era
Cozy-core fans, the Evermore era is for you. Taylor’s second pandemic album was full of woodland references but, unlike its predecessor, the vibe this time around was very much fall-inspired. Flannel dresses, comfy Birkenstock sandals, and other comfy pieces reign supreme. Shades to highlight include marigold yellow and burnt red.
Taylor Swift's 'Midnights' Era
Good thing silver everything is one of 2023’s biggest trends—Taylor is obsessed with the shade for her Midnights era. Her looks from this time in her career are about metallics , drama, and deep shades like navy blue and fushia. If you can’t stop listening to “Karma” or You’re On Your Own Kid,” This one is for you.

100+ Taylor Swift Eras Tour Outfit Ideas + What to Wear to A Taylor Swift Concert!
Updated: Jan 17
It's been a long time coming but.... it's been a crazy few years for miss Taylor Swift. She's dropped hint after hint, easter egg after easter egg, song after song, music video after music video!! She's truly a great entertainer and artist, and genuinely one of my favorite musicians to fangirl over.
I got tickets to Taylor Swift's Era's tour, and am trying to decide what era I should go as. . I can't wait to see what Taylor Swift's concert outfits are for this tour!
What do I wear to a Taylor Swift concert? Especially to the Eras tour?
Attendees are planning to wear outfits inspired by their favorite Taylor Swift era. There are ten eras total: Taylor Swift (Self-Titled), Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights. Each era has its own vibe, color aesthetic, and specific pieces Taylor wore during those periods. For example, Reputation is an absolute classic, with snake print, black leather, and tons of sass. Or maybe the Red era? I mean, that one IS my favorite Taylor Swift album. Come as a sad autumn girl with a red scarf, black high-waisted shorts and oxfords— that's definitely a vibe.
But as I was thinking through this, I thought maybe I could make mood boards and help others find the perfect Taylor Swift outfits from amazon to wear to Taylor Swift's concert on her The Eras Tour! I assure you, while putting this list together, with each era I worked on I listened to the album ;) Guaranteed inspiration!
Because of each stadium's bag policy, concert-goers need to bring a clear see-through bag to the venue. Here are a few realyl cute ones I've found. The first is pretty simple, but you can find clear bags that are really stylized to fit your eras tour outfit!
I'm also seeing a lot of people at Taylor Swift's concerts wearing body glitter and hair gems! Here are some options online that are great for doing glitzy hair and makeup the day of the Eras tour concert. The hair gem style has been SUPER popular, and you'll find a lot of other gals at the tour that are rocking similar!
To start off, here are a few pieces that would be good for any of her eras. Concert attendees are wearing "Friendship Bracelets" (a nod to the song You're On Your Own Kid), and the era's charm bracelet as well, which are both available on Amazon!

NEW UPDATE! Taylor Swift's Eras Tour stage outfits
Taylor Swift Debut Era
T-Swift's self-titled album is a classic, with songs like "Picture to Burn", "Stay Beautiful", and "Should've Said No". With so many Taylor Swift album era options, this one will surely stand out and be super identifiable.
Taylor Swift's debut album is a whimsical journey through the enchanting world of teenage dreams and heartaches. Bursting with charm and a sprinkle of country sweetness, the album encapsulates the essence of Taylor's early years as a rising star. The aesthetic is like a vintage photo album, filled with snapshots of innocent crushes, teardrop-stained diaries, and the magic of first loves. The vibe is undeniably cute, as Taylor's relatable lyrics and catchy melodies transport you to a world where love letters are written in glittery pens, and every emotion is felt with an extra touch of sparkle. It's a musical hug from the past that leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling and a desire to dance around your room like no one's watching.
How to dress in Taylor Swift (Self-Titled) era outfits
When you want to dress like the self-titled Taylor Swift album, you've got to transport yourself back to good ol' 2006! That means low rise flare jeans, floral dresses, and plenty of cowgirl boots. Taylor's look back then involved more soft, butterfly-like looks that harken back to her country roots.
The Taylor Swift Debut vibe: Teals, greens, butterfly, cowgirl, floral, low rise jeans, and flannels.
Where to find these Taylor Swift (Debut Album) outfits:
Moving onto Taylor Swift's sophomore album, Fearless...
Fearless Era (Plus Taylor's Version)
Fearless is when Taylor Swift really started to gain speed in the music industry, and the era evokes an true nostalgia for the early Tay years!
Taylor Swift's "Fearless" album, both the original and Taylor's version, exude a timeless charm that feels like a musical hug from a dear friend. The aesthetic is a blend of sunlit fields and starlit nights, capturing the essence of young love and fearless adventures. With a dash of country twang and a sprinkle of pop magic, the album's vibe is irresistibly cute, much like a handwritten love letter sealed with a kiss. Taylor's reimagined version adds an extra layer of nostalgia, like finding a cherished childhood toy in the attic. It's a journey back to a place where heartbreaks were mended with laughter, and every melody carried the promise of a new beginning. The vibe is like a cozy sweater, warm and comforting, inviting you to relive those moments and create new memories with the same wide-eyed wonder.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Fearless era outfits
She loves sparkly dresses. Always has, always will. But this was the first era to REALLY bring that to the forefront. Soft whimsical touches, earthy kind of feelings, with a little bit of edginess.
The Taylor Swift Fearless vibe: Golds, sparkly dresses, fairy-tale fluff, elastic headbands, cowgirl boots, and boho.
Where to find these outfits:
Next up is Taylor Swift's third album, Speak Now! You can get inspired by the original Speak Now era, or the new Taylor's Version.
Speak Now Era
A fairytale in a nutshell, Speak Now era is like a sparkly purple dream.
Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" album is a whimsical fairy tale spun with the threads of love, courage, and a sprinkle of daydream magic. The aesthetic is like a storybook come to life, filled with enchanted forests and castle walls where Taylor fearlessly takes center stage. The vibe is both daring and adorable, as if each song were a secret whispered in a moonlit garden. With a blend of country roots and pop melodies, the album dances through the pages of a romantic novel, where every chorus is a chapter and every bridge a thrilling plot twist. It's a musical adventure that invites you to join Taylor in a world where love conquers all, and each note is a charming invitation to step into a dreamscape where happily ever afters are set to a delightful melody.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Speak Now era outfits
I tapped into a few iconic Taylor Swift outfits from the Speak Now era, which welcomed in her love for oxfords, vintage pieces, and an overall romantic take on everything. Finding the perfect halter purple dress from Speak Now era is ESSENTIAL. I've added the one I found below!
The Taylor Swift Speak Now vibe: Purple EVERYTHING, the number 13, slouchy beanies, flannels, twee Oxford heels, whimsical dresses, and revenge. Lots of revenge.
Here are some more modern versions of the Speak Now era (now with Taylor's Version!!)
Next is my FAVORITE era, the RED era!
Red Era (Plus Taylor's Version)
Arguably the best Taylor Swift album, hands down. RED is my personal favorite from her discography, mostly because this is the era where I because a HUGE Taylor Swift fan, rather than just a casual listener. All of the raw pain and anguish in this album make this era (and the TV era!) probably what I'm going to choose for the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour!
Taylor Swift's RED era is a sartorial symphony of passion and bold statements. The clothing aesthetic is a captivating blend of vintage glamour and modern sophistication, reflecting the album's emotional rollercoaster. Taylor dons iconic red dresses that symbolize both heartbreak and empowerment, showcasing her fearless style evolution. Picture timeless silhouettes, chic high-waisted shorts, and classic red lips that become a signature touch. The vibe is a mix of retro vibes and contemporary chic, with Taylor effortlessly balancing elegance and edge. From the glitzy red-carpet gowns to the laid-back yet stylish streetwear, every outfit in the RED era tells a story of self-discovery and resilience. It's a fashion journey that captures the essence of love, loss, and the vibrant hues of a life lived unapologetically.
How to dress in Taylor Swift RED era outfits
This era probably has some of the most iconic fashion moments of Taylor Swift's career. The Taylor Swift red tour outfits were amazing. The "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together" and "22" looks just scream 2012! Now ten years later in 2022, this style is still just as amazing and showstoppping... and iconically RED . Try to find a good striped shirt and some tailored high waisted shorts, and add a pair of red Keds to complete the look!
The Taylor Swift RED vibe: The color red (bright, like the original, or deep, like Taylor's Version), spectator Oxford shoes, heart sunglasses, fedora hats, high wasted shorts, and KEDS.
The "Not a lot going on at the moment" shirt is a classic for sure. You can buy it below. Also, with Taylor's new tour, she has a shirt that says "A LOT going on at the moment" too, which is featured here where I have some outfit ideas that are inspired by her concert looks from this Eras era!
During the show, Taylor gives her fedora-type hat to someone special in the audience. You can match her by wearing a black hat from her RED era!
From the RED Taylor's Version album cover, don a trench coat and a burnt Sienna newsboy cap, and the autumn leaves start to fall like pieces into place for your Taylor Swift concert outfit.
I Bet You Think About Me - Taylor Swift concert outfit idea
Something from RED Taylor's Version that is an instant showstopper: the I Bet You Think About Me outfit!
Here's where you can grab it:
Onto many people's favorite -- 1989!! This is the most recent Taylor's Version to come out. "1899 (Taylor's Version)" is not just an album; it's a captivating invitation to step into a lyrical ballroom where each song is a dance through time, and Taylor is the enchanting guide, gracefully leading us through the echoes of a century past.
A HUGE era for Taylor, commercially and her tour! She has so many fun and glitzy looks from this 1989 era. I pulled some Taylor Swift tour costumes from amazon that will make people double-take.... wait, is that Taylor Swift?? No? Shake it off!
How to dress in Taylor Swift 1989 era outfits
Be sure to wear plenty of sequins, shiny fabrics, and two-piece outfits for a true 1989 era look from Taylor Swift! Add on the quintessential white rayon-type sunglasses to look like a true 1989 fan.
The Taylor Swift 1989 vibe: Sequins! Lots of blues and silver sparkles, crop tops, white rayon sunglasses, and sparkly fringe.
One of these outfits is a callback to Taylor's look at the 2016 Grammy Awards. I think it's such a unique outfit to wear to the Era's tour, because it's not exactly a "era" look, but something SO iconic from that era! Also, can you GET more 1989 than a pair of white rayon sunglasses? They were a staple piece in Taylor Swift's 1989 era.
A callback to a Swift inside joke, the yellow "No It's Becky" shirt is available on amazon!
Seagulls everywhere, on everything. With the new 1989 Taylor's Version coming out, the coastal pale blue vibe is going to be a good choice.
If you want to be a little silly, you could come literally dressed like a seagull:
Reputation Era
This era is the most similar to my own personal style, so when I attended the Rep tour, I was living my best life!! All her songs have a pop edge to them, so make sure to dress accordingly.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Reputation era outfits
Wear as much snake print, black, fishnet, and combat-wear you can find. The more you look like a hell-raiser, the better for Taylor Swift reputation outfits. I've added in a few cool amazon t-shirts in here as well from the era!
The Taylor Swift Reputation vibe: Snake print, black sequins, camouflage print, chains, combat boots, and slicked back hair.
Much like her album cover, you can find a newspaper Reputation dress below!
Lover was all bright pink and multicolored, and it was AMAZING. The fun songs (and some deep love songs) created an incredible album from Taylor Swift.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Lover era outfits
Pink, lots of pink. Actually, all pink. Just kidding! I put together some outfit ideas that are inspired by some of her performance looks and music video outfits from the Lover era.
The Taylor Swift Lover vibe: Lots of pink, multicolor, fringe, pearls, iridescence, hearts, and sweetness all around.
Grab a hot pink jacket and pearl sunglasses to look like Taylor from "You Need to Calm Down"! Choosing to wear a pastel sky print is such a Lover look, similar to her album cover!
Check out these gorgeous Lover-esque earrings and accessories:
Just like in the "ME!" music video, you can wear a heart shaped top like Taylor for the concert.
Makeup for your Lover eras tour outfit
If you're wanting to dress up as Taylor's Lover era, it's a sweet detail to do the heart shape makeup over her eye like she does on her album cover! In order to do that, you'll need two main items: liquid latex and skin-safe pink glitter. You can find them here:
I've used the liquid latex above before and it works really well. All you'll need to do is outline the heart around your eye with the liquid latex, wait for it to get tacky, and then apply the pink glitter!
Folklore Era
If you aren't the sparkly-dress Taylor Swift fan, and want to be a sad cottage-core girl, here is your chance! This album screams alone-in-the-woods-and-in-the-feels.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Folklore era outfits
Tap into the cottage-core look and opt for some comfy sweaters, cardigans, and ditsy floral prints. I've grabbed a few items that look similar to the outfits she wore on some of her photoshoots from this era.
The Taylor Swift folklore vibe: Knit sweaters, plaid jackets, chunky boots, mushrooms, trees and a general folksy vibe.
Evermore Era
Am I crazy to say that Evermore is one of my favorite TSwift albums? It's definitely the most forgotten one, but WOW does it have some bops, both sad and lovely.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Evermore era outfits
This era was so short-lived, but it gave us some beautiful looks! An easy go-to would be the brown/orange plaid jacket from Evermore. (I've linked on similar) Also, the Willow music video is a huge inspiration for these, and other Swifties will know exactly what you're going for!
The Taylor Swift evermore vibe: Deep plaids, ethereal jewelry, greens, leather boots, turtlenecks, and flown dresses.
From the "Willow" music video, you can choose a more whimsical and fairy-like look to fit in with the Evermore era! Below you can also find a dark green velvet cape like she wears during her Evermore set at the Eras Tour!
Midnights Era
Midnights only came out a few weeks ago while I'm writing this, so I'm still reeling from this album release! I know from the second I hear "Anti-Hero" that it would be an instant classic.
How to dress in Taylor Swift Midnights era outfits
When it comes to the looks from Midnights era, they span from glitzy blue midnight dresses and plenty of sparkles, mixed with vintage looks that evoke a sense of 70s retro. Combining these all together will be the ultimate Midnights tour outfit!
The Taylor Swift Midnights vibe: Honestly, Taylor's Midnights aesthetic is all over the place, but can be boiled down to: 70s vintage, starry night, retro, oranges, blues, lavender, clocks, and anything, and I mean anything that is bejeweled.
Inspired by her 70's glam looks in much of the material for the release of her album midnights, you can don some burnt orange and corduroy and fit in well! The top and fur jacket look similar to the starry dress Taylor wore out when she was promoting "Midnights". For a more casual "Midnights" look, you can wear this sheer celestial top as well. Check out some of these that also scream "Lavender Haze"!
Where're ya going? You going out tonight? ;)
You can find a corset similar to Taylor's from her "Bejeweled" music video!
Taylor Swift's Stage Outfits
If you want to come to the concert the MOST prepared, you can dress like the current Era: the Eras era! Pretty meta, right? Here are some of the outfits that Taylor's been wearing on her tour that you can recreate in your concert outfit:
Stage outfit 1— Midnights era Lavender Haze jacket
Taylor wears a pink/lavender sparkly dress with a fun faux-fur lavender coat. You can find a super sparkly dress and add a lavender faux fur coat, and look just like Taylor!
Stage outfit 2— Evermore era pink dress
Taylor's whimsical pink dress during her Evermore era is GORGEOUS. Play up your own ethereal vibe and wear a similar dress to the Eras tour!
Stage outfit 3— Reputation era jumpsuit
Taylor wears this awesome one-legged jumpsuit with red snakes all over it. You can buy a black sparkly jumpsuit and attach red snake appliqués to create a look similar to it.
Stage outfit 4— Sparkly RED era jacket
The RED era (my favorite!) has Taylor donning a long red sparkle trench coat. You can look similar to this in either this red velvet long trench I've found, or a men's sparkly suit jacket!
Stage outfit 5— "A LOT Going On At The Moment" shirt
She's reinvented her own RED era look with a shirt that instead of saying "Not a lot going on at the moment" it says "A LOT going on at the moment"! I've found a shirt that says exactly that new phrase on Amazon. Taylor also pairs it with a pair of sparkly black bottoms and a black hat.
Stage outfit 6— 1989 era green two piece
A very Taylor typical outfit, more sparkles! And this time we're working with fun and bright green. She has a sparkle fringed two piece set on stage.
I hope you find some awesome inspiration on what to wear to Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour! See ya there :)

Yay!!!! I'm so, so glad this helped, it makes me so happy. I'm excited for my tour stop (Pittsburg!) to show off my Taylor Swift era outfit; I'm going with Red.
This is an amazing resource! I’m still looking for Red inspo. Do you have any pant/shirt ideas? I’m not into dresses that much.
Thank you so much! If I find anything worth sharing, I’ll put the links down here.

During her performance of her beautiful song "Willow," she added a dark green Etro cape to add a little extra to the theme of enchantment used in this set . This choice of outfit adds a sense of mystique to the whimsical environment as she performs "Marjorie," "Champagne Problems" and "Tolerate It" from Evermore .
13 Oscar de la Renta Shirt + Jacket
Worn performing in the midnights set.
For the beginning of the final set of her concert, Midnights , Taylor Swift wore a sparkling lilac shirt dress, with a lilac fur jacket, and sparkling black boots. The color of this attire is a perfect allude to the blues of her Midnights album. This combination pays a breathtaking tribute to the music video of her hit song "Lavender Haze" , where she notably wore a similar outfit. She later sheds the jacket during her performance of "Anti-Hero."
12 Jessica Jones Dress
Worn performing in the acoustics set.
Taylor Swift returned to her country roots during the Eras Tour, with an Acoustic set of songs. While performing four surprise songs from the acoustic set, she wore a dark pink dress with cap sleeves and ruffles, in tribute to her song "Maroon." The dress was designed by Jessica Jones, who has collaborated with the singer on previous occasions. In contrast to her sparkling bodysuits worn throughout her other eras, this simply designed dress offers a more stripped-down moment during Taylor's concert . It touchingly pays tribute to her early beginnings as a country singer-songwriter.
Jessica Jones notably designed the gold bodysuit worn by Taylor Swift at the 2019 American Music Awards; at this ceremony, Swift was awarded Artist of the Decade.
11 Ashish Romper
Worn performing "i knew you were trouble" in the red set.
Taylor Swift wore several outfits that reflected her fourth era, Red . During the opening of her hit song "I Knew You Were Trouble", she wore a red and black romper, covered in sequins. The romper was designed by Ashish Gupta, who collaborated with Swift on all the outfits on her Red set; this romper has a simple design, but the sparkles add a sense of sophistication to her performance.
10 Ashish Coat
Worn performing 'all too well' in the red set.
One aspect of the concert that fans looked forward to was Taylor Swift's 10-minute rendition of her song "All Too Well". For this performance, she donned a dark red sparkling coat over her romper for this heart-breaking song. This coat is a special addition to this fan-favorite song and helps Taylor Swift stand out further on stage.
What Taylor Swift's All Too Well 10 Minute Version Lyrics Mean
9 roberto cavalli skirt and top, worn performing in the 1989 set.
During her 1989 set, Swift wore a matching pink top and skirt designed by longtime fashion collaborator Roberto Cavalli . The pink set was paired with a dazzling pair of Christian Louboutin boots. This Cavalli outfit gave Swift a better opportunity to dance and have fun in arguably the most energetic era of her career. During her "Blank Space" performance, viewers were also treated to visuals of Swift in different styles of Cavalli outfits that were seen during her 1989 Stadium Tour (via Business Insider ). The choice to wear this pink ensemble ensured that she stood out among her dancers, who wore a range of black-and-white outfits during this era.
8 Versace Blazer
Worn performing 'the man' in the lover set.
Taylor Swift became "The Man" when she pulled on a sparkling gray blazer designed by Versace. During her Lover set, she donned the jacket over her bodysuit, as she performed her hit song "The Man" with her ensemble of office dancers. This choice of jacket completely transformed her Lover look and allowed her to become the boss of the concert. The bright gray colors chosen for this outfit also helped Swift prove that she was the true boss of the show as she climbed to the top of the office stage.
7 Oscar de la Renta Bodysuit
Worn performing the midnights set.
In the final set of her concert, Midnights , Taylor Swift wore several midnight-blue outfits designed by Oscar de la Renta. One outfit was a bejeweled bodysuit, which she wore during her performance of "Midnight Rain". The look was paired with matching dark blue Christian Louboutin boots that she wore in the final stages of her iconic concert. The bodysuit and boots were beautifully bejeweled to give the allusions to dark blue skies, an excellent homage to Swift's Midnights era.
6 Alberta Ferretti Dress
Worn performing in the folklore era.
In contrast to her earlier sparkling outfits, Swift's Alberta Ferretti gown is stark, yet beautiful with its flowing elegance.
Taylor Swift returned to seclusion in her peaceful cabin throughout her Folklore era. After the powerful and upbeat eras of Reputation and Fearless , she completely stripped back to cottage-core , by wearing a stunning flowing white gown. In contrast to her earlier sparkling outfits, Swift's Alberta Ferretti gown is stark, yet beautiful with its flowing elegance. It offers a reflection of the dreamy essence of Folklore and was the perfect choice of outfit for performing songs such as "Cardigan" and "Illicit Affairs."
Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Movie Re-Adding Cardigan On Disney+ Is More Important Than You Realize
5 roberto cavallari jumpsuit, worn performing the reputation set.
Another collaboration with Roberto Cavalli, Taylor Swift slithered into action in this striking jumpsuit that she wore during her Reputation set. In stark contrast to the bright ensembles worn at the beginning of the concert, this Cavalli jumpsuit is coal-black with intricate red patterns resembling snakes intertwined down one long leg of the ensemble. This jumpsuit reflects the notoriety and negative labels that Swift was given by the media; it is a perfect representation of arguably the darkest era of her entire career .

This is a tribute to her "22" music video and this costume is notable for being worn during one of the most anticipated moments of the concert; when Taylor gives her hat to one lucky fan .

Taylor's self-titled first album in 2006 was impossibly romantic, a celebration of all things country. It goes to follow that her style at that time was, too. Boho dresses, sparkly eyeshadow, tightly curled ringlets of blonde hair, and other cowboy-inspired accessories like chunky cowboy boots were the order of the day. Swift often opted for bright yellows, flowery prints, and relied on the innocence of youth as well as the iconography of her with a guitar when she put out her debut album in high school. Think youthful innocence, flowers, sparkle, and sundresses and you'll be on the right path here.

When Swift released her second album Fearless in 2008, her looks didn't shift from her high school fashion significantly, but she did begin to opt for a little more glitz, glam, and sequins. She decided to mix in a few more metallic shades, like gold and silver, with plenty of mini dresses and the same boots and loose curls from her younger days. Alternatively, class things up with some strappy heels to make for a look that Swift would have worn on the red carpet.

- The Drop Avery Square Toe Strap High Heeled Sandal in Gold, $34.93 at Amazon
Swift made her foray into dreamier, more storybook-styled elements with Speak Now in 2010. Though she sometimes still paid homage to her country roots, she continued to sprinkle in more experimental outfit choices, throwing in ballroom dresses, plenty of airy fabrics, and theatrical outfits. Purple, of course, was a major theme that carried through this era, so anything purple and romantic (and sparkly) would be an automatic great fit.

Taylor veered off into some very new territory with 2012's Red , effortlessly blending country and pop. Of course, it makes sense to choose something red for this era, but there are also plenty of other aesthetic notes to consider: vintage styling, red lips, straight hair with bangs, high-waisted shorts, T-shirts, hats, heart-shaped sunglasses, and other breezy attire are aspects you can't go wrong with.

- SweatyRocks Front Button High Waisted Shorts in Black, $22.99 at Amazon

Swift finally completed her full metamorphosis into a pop superstar with 1989 in 2014, and her style transformed as well. During this era, the singer debuted her choppy bob, casual crop tops, flowing skirts, funky accessories, and an air of nonchalance that felt like youth coming alive. It's easy to get the 1989 look — and you probably already have some of its staples in your closet. And, of course, you can never go wrong with the "Not a Lot Going on at the Moment" shirt, as seen in Taylor's "22" video.

In 2017, following her year out of the public eye, Swift re-emerged with Reputation . With it, came an album of dark dance-pop and another new aesthetic. This time, she rocked black bodysuits, dark lipsticks, snake motifs, and hoods. She also wore a variety of hairstyles, from slicked-back lengthy locks to bangs and updos. Her touring outfits became a lot more dramatic as well.

- Forever Camila-48 Thigh High Boots in Black, $26.25 at Amazon

With 2019's Lover , Swift entered a bright, colorful era with plenty of hearts, rainbows, glitter, and sunshiny fashion. Her music reflected these feelings as well, focusing on staying positive, being in love, and enjoying life. Think bright colors, eye-catching designs, flowing hair, and unique prints.
Folklore and Evermore

Swift released both Folklore and Evermore in 2020, debuting a marked shift to a cottage-core style that reflected what many of us were wearing during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She wore plenty of flowery prints, boho chic, frills and midi dresses, and we ate every bit of it up. Both albums featured the same types of wardrobe, given that they shared similar musical styles.

- LifeStride Suki Pump, $29.99 at Amazon

Swift released Midnights in late 2022, and we're still technically at the beginning of this era. But it's proving to be one of the more popular looks to wear to the Eras Tour since it's still fresh in everyone's minds. It seems to be a mixture of several of Swift's previous aesthetic choices, with '70s-inspired attire, sequins, bedazzled looks, and more. It's dreamy, sexy, and a little romantic, perfect for meeting someone at midnight.

The chart-topping singer has been in the industry since she was 16 years old, having released 10 full studio albums. The Eras Tour pays homage to the many eras of her career, from country sweetheart to Grammy-winning pop singer, from her cowboy boot days to her wearing a bedazzled leotard.

Taylor Swift era
Taylor Swift made her debut in 2006 when she was just 16 years old. Her first album, Taylor Swift , was a fully country album encapsulating the essence of high school love and innocent teenage experiences. At the time, she was known for her tight blonde curls and her closet drew inspiration from her teenage years in Nashville, consisting of various combinations of sundresses and cowboy boots. Fans have been embracing Swift’s country era by coordinating their outfits with the representative colour, light blue. If you’re looking to go all out, opt for a western inspired outfit, but make it fashion.
Bow-detail minidress, about $603, Simkhai at Farfetch
Stitched leather cowboy boots, $470, GANNI at Farfetch
Coastal cowboy hat, $86.36, 8 Other Reasons at REVOLVE
Fearless era
This period was a significant turning point for the star. She won a Grammy for Fearless , and it spawned several massive hit songs, including “You Belong With Me” and “Love Story”. The representative hue is gold, drawing from the stage outfits she wore while on tour in 2009. On stage, she was seen regularly donning sparkly dresses with fringe, paired with a pair of custom Christian Louboutin cowboy-inspired boots. Immerse yourself in the era with a gold dress and a bold pair of cowboy boots.
Paloma lace top, $195, Guizio
Night Rider mini skirt, about $100, Lioness at REVOLVE
Dagget Boot in white, about $395, Jeffrey Campbell at REVOLVE
Speak Now era
The Speak Now era was Taylor’s most fairytale-like, romantic season, with the singer experimenting with different styles both in music and fashion. The representative colour is a bold purple, nodding to the album’s cover image. This period also marked the start of Taylor’s love for a good red lip, which remains till this day. Get your concert fits ready with a romantic shade of purple and a sparkly accessory to pay tribute to this “Enchanted” time.
Beige bustier, about $870.87, Mirror Palais at REVOLVE
Low rise pailette skirt in Amethyst, $370, Guizio
1969 crystal-embellished chainmail shoulder bag, about $2,686, Rabanne at Net-a-Porter
The Red era is when Taylor started to focus more on the pop genre, and it gave us major hits like “22” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”. The aesthetic during this era was one of the most consistent and iconic ones, sporting a colour palette of black, white, red and occasionally navy. One of the most memorable Taylor looks was born in this era: a bold red blazer matched with form-fitting high-waisted shorts and a top hat, replicating the look of a circus ringleader. Celebrate this era with a short black bottom, a bold red top, and a red lip.
Ribbon corset top, about $457, FANCÌ CLUB
Miss mini skirt, about $455, Miaou
Low-heel thong boots, $3,200, Miu Miu at Farfetch
The 1989 era marks Taylor’s first full pop moment, coming after the star made her move to the Big Apple, giving us songs like “Style” and “Blank Space”. Her new genre translated into some of her most popular videos like “Bad Blood” and a freshly cut bob. The corresponding outfits are relatively easy to emulate, with the light blue colour seen on the album cover, lots of sequins and, of course, a classic red lip.
Blue sequin minidress, about $935, ShUSHU/TONG at Ssense
Tabi 60mm Mary Jane pumps, about $1,212, Maison Margiela at Farfetch

Reputation era
The Reputation Era was Taylor’s most dramatic style shift to date, as she made her comeback after a year-long hiatus post Kim K drama. She served much edgier looks than we’d seen her in before, opting for a bright bleach blonde hairstyle, dark lipstick, black outfits and sometimes snake motifs (iykyk). The Reputation tour documentary on Netflix is the perfect place to get style inspo, with Taylor sporting knee-high boots, and more form-fitting and sultry pieces; perfect for the girlies who love a classic all-black ensemble.
Black Druken bodice corset, about $935, FANCÌ CLUB at Ssense
Python print skirt, $756, Stella McCartney at Club 21
Black Gisele boots, about $1,762, FANCÌ CLUB at Ssense
Taylor did a 180 shift from the dark, moody vibe of Reputation to the upbeat, colourful vibe of Lover . Giving us swoon-worthy songs like “Lover” and “Paper Rings”, this era was all about romance and the brightness that comes with it. Get into your Lover era with heart-shaped garments and pastel hues to embrace the wholesome and bright energy of this album.
Ms. Heart bustier, about $442, Stolen Stores
Pleated pinstripe skirt, $2,550, Miu Miu
Lady Horsebit-detailed leather slingback pumps, about $1,433, Gucci at Net-a-Porter
Folklore era
The Folklore era; the era of dreamy music, soft hues and another genre shift. Given that this era was written during the pandemic, the songs focused more on story-telling than the theatrical aspect of performing. The aesthetic of this era seems to be a cottage-core and angelic type of style, with light and flowy floral dresses embracing simplicity with a neutral colour palette. Think a field of flowers or a picnic, something feminine, flowy and ethereal.
Judith crop blouse, about $193, For Love and Lemons
Titan skirt, about $706, Sandy Liang
Slingback 45 in satin, about $840, Sandy Liang
Evermore era
Evermore was presented to us shortly after Folklore , as its winter counterpart, and the two eras are relatively similar in aesthetics and genre. The difference lies in the details, such as the lyrics as well as music video imagery. The colour palette has a warm and cosy feeling with earthy tones, burnt oranges and burgundy. So when selecting your outfit, think warm, cosy, autumn and winter vibes but the tropical weather edition.
Cotton poplin tie string mini dress, $300, GANNI at Farfetch
Wool-blend cardigan, about $363, Vince at Mytheresa
Midnights era
The Midnights era represents Swift’s tenth full studio album, and the post-pandemic comeback of Taylor Swift pop songs. This era was slightly edgier than Swift’s previous pop albums, gifting us the chart-topping hits, “Karma” and “Bejeweled”. Taylor’s outfit for this portion of the concert perfectly captures the essence of her most recent album, shining in a glittering leotard and knee-high boots as she dazzles like the star she is. If you are looking for a fuss-free option, try dressing in the Midnights colour, dark blue, and pair it with a “Bejeweled” accessory to complete your Eras Tour outfit.
Sequin shirtee, about $127, Free People at REVOLVE
Black Lucchetto miniskirt, about $734, Pristine at Ssense
Iconic Silver Nano 1969 Bag with Crystal Charms, about $1,586, Rabanne

10 Taylor Swift Eras Tour Outfit Ideas Inspired by Every Iconic Album
Design by Leana Macaya
In This Article
It’s almost time to meet Taylor Swift at midnight (and all the other times of day she’s ever sung about), as the long-awaited Eras Tour kicks off in Arizona on March 17 before heading across the U.S. all spring and summer—then, presumably, the world. The artist is making her live music comeback stronger than a ‘90s trend , as she's dropped a whopping four new albums since her 2018 Reputation tour, in addition to two “Taylor’s Version” rereleases. While the Ticketmaster fiasco resulted in a literal Senate hearing, fans are now getting excited to hear the new songs for the first time live—and confused about what to wear to such an all-encompassing concert.
If you survived “The Great War” of ticket sales but are stumped about your Eras ensemble or itching to give that Capital One card another workout, you need to calm down and build an outfit around your favorite Taylor Swift album. Whether pastel music festival vibes are your Lover , an invisible string ties you to Folklore , or you just want to stay in Midnights ' lavender haze, we’ll help you mastermind the perfect look. See Taylor Swift Eras Tour outfits for every album ahead, so you can show fellow Swifties you’re still bejeweled when you walk into the concert.
Taylor Swift/Debut Album
If you’ve been a Swiftie since the beginning or want to show your soft spot for her country era, grab a pen and an old napkin and take note of the artist’s go-to teen staples: understated midi dresses, classic cowboy boots , and a neutral, bohemian color palette. Let your hair run wild and free, and you have the perfect recipe for singing along to “Picture to Burn.”

Free People
Brother Vellies
Swift’s sophomore album, Fearless , was a "Love Story" full of the hopes and fears we all feel when coming of age. It won the 2010 Grammy for Album of the Year and recently got another moment in the spotlight as the inaugural Taylor’s Version rerelease (raise your hand if you're hoping to hear “Mr. Perfectly Fine” live). If you belong with the era's sweet late-aughts style, go for a sequined mini dress, a rose necklace, and simple leather sandals.
Reformation
Don't Let Disco
There's a lot of buzz around Speak Now right now as many fans are convinced that Swift has it slated for the next rerelease, citing everything from the "Bejeweled" music video to recent awards show looks. If you're excited for the world to finally realize that "Dear John" walked so "All Too Well" could run so "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) [Taylor's Version] [From the Vault]" could fly, embody the album's complex fairytale energy with a Bordeaux-colored princess mini dress, a delicate tie blouse, and whimsical crystal earrings.

The Red era contained multitudes: Think Harry Styles, Karlie Kloss and the squad, and endless country-pop crossover hits that highlighted Swift's ability to transcend genres. In its Taylor's Version renaissance, vault tracks like the "All Too Well" 10-minute version and the "Nothing New" collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers dominated, yet the album's signature color scheme and vintage-meets-modern vibes have remained as relevant as ever. Pair a pop of red—we love the idea of some statement pants—with a white T-shirt , Ray-Bans, and your favorite red lipstick for a moment that will have you dancing like you're 22.

1989 was a new beginning for Taylor Swift in multiple ways: It was her first pop album, she had an iconic new bob hairstyle , and she'd just moved to New York City. As she marked her rebirth with songs like "Wildest Dreams" and "Style," the star rocked an energized, instantly iconic wardrobe of crop tops, matching sets, and statement accessories. If you're in a style rut, shake it off with a crop-top-and-skirt combo plus some colorful heels, all of which can work for countless going-out looks long after your Eras Tour concert has come and gone.
Abercrombie & Fitch
Kendall Miles
When rumors about her hit a boiling point, Swift didn't back down. Instead, she released Reputation , an album that simultaneously leaned into her so-called "snake" side and shared the sweet vulnerability of falling in love. If you're in your Rep Era, you can't go wrong with leather on leather, especially if you top it off with some serpentine jewelry.
Chelsea Paris
The Lover era, which featured bubblegum bops like "Cruel Summer" and "It's Nice to Have a Friend" (the latter was recently part of the M3GAN trailer), was a time for pastel music festival vibes and euphoric romanticism. If you spent 2020 preparing for the Lover Fest that never happened, now is finally your chance to shine: Pair a candy-colored crop top and shorts for a danceable yet fun look, then finish it off with a fun hair look like temporary streaks or rainbow tinsel.
When Swift surprise-dropped Folklore during the 2020 lockdown, it marked the start of a stripped-back indie era that attracted a whole new fanbase in the process. If dark academia has captured your heart or you stream "Cardigan" and "Betty" on repeat, emphasize how smart and mysterious you are by bringing a book to the concert (spoiler alert: It's actually a purse). Paired with a ruffled, high neck blouse and patchwork shorts, you have a dreamy Taylor Swift Eras Tour outfit that pays tribute to storytelling and simpler times.
Ulla Johnson
Well Read Company
Evermore is Folklore 's sister record, wandering deeper into Swift's storytelling interest to explore themes of pain, healing, and revenge. If you fell in love with this under-appreciated era, channel the cozy yet cathartic vibes with a flannel dress, leather sneakers, and earrings that will make you feel like part of the "No Body, No Crime" universe.
Want Les Essentiels
Pamela Love
If Midnights are your favorite time these days, we totally relate. Swift's latest album explores the range of things we think about when much of the world is asleep—from the introspection of "Anti-Hero" to the major confidence rush of "Karma"—and the cosmic-meets-'70s aesthetic is exactly what we needed. Meet Taylor at midnight in a lounge suit paired with bejeweled celestial earrings and platform sandals that help you stay in that lavender haze.

What Should You Wear to the Taylor Swift Eras Tour Movie? We Have Some Ideas.
Whether you want to be comfy in merch or to dress up as one of Swift's many eras, here's a guide to moviegoing attire (Taylor's Version).
Every item on this page was chosen by a Town & Country editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy.
"The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon," Swift wrote on Instagram when she announced the film . "Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters... Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged." Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is currently in theaters, and isn't going to be on streaming anytime soon .
What exactly does she mean by "Eras attire"? It means outfits inspired by her ten albums, or eras as she calls them: Taylor Swift , Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Lover, folklore, evermore, and Midnights . Throughout her career, Swift has used different aesthetics to delineate each era, and her fans have embraced them in dressing up for the tour.
In celebration of Swift, we pulled together 33 outfit ideas of what to wear to the movie theaters for the film (which has a runtime of 2 hours, 48 minutes). From casual to over-the-top, inspired by her tour looks and her street style, here's what to wear to Swift's Eras Tour movie:
Eras Tour Sweatshirt
The easiest outfit to wear to the Eras Tour movie? Eras Tour merch. There's plenty on Etsy, or in Swift's official store .
Fearless Bracelet
A key part of the Eras Tour was trading friendship bracelets, and we have a feeling movie audiences will also lean into the power of the bracelet.
Gabrielle Sequin Robe
When Swift announced "ME!" during the NFL Draft in 2019, she wore this Retrofete dress. "The fans are amazing. I cannot believe how dedicated they are, how thoughtful, I can't believe how much they care," Swift said during the interview. "It makes it more fun for me to create music knowing that they'll care about little Easter eggs or clues or hints."
Get in the Groove Champagne Sequin Fringe Bodycon Dress
If you're looking to channel Swift's Fearless era, you can't go wrong with a fringe mini dress. (It can also double as a Taylor Swift Halloween costume , as many of these outfits can!)
Taylor's Version Sweatshirt
Swift is in the process of releasing re-records of her first six albums, with 1989 (Taylor's Version) set to come out while the Eras Tour concert film is in theaters. Celebrate all things Taylor's Version with this adorable sweatshirt.
BCBGMAXAZRIA Ziv Chiffon Gown
During the evermore section of the Eras Tour, Swift often wore an orange-y rust gown—if you're looking for a movie outfit that can double as a fall wedding guest dress , this dress is perfect.
Swift's roots are in country music, and the fashionable way to celebrate that is obviously by wearing your very own pair of cowboy boots .
'13' Temporary Tattoo
13 is Swift's lucky number, and early in her career, before performing she would draw the number on her hand. Many fans attending the Eras Tour followed suit.
Hue Blazer - Lollipop
Swift's Lover era is all about rainbows and pink, and when she performs "The Man" during the Eras Tour, she dons a blazer dress. Combine the two with this pink blazer, which also works for any Barbie screenings you plan on attending.

Smart Dad Wool Mix Coat in Brushed Check
On the cover of evermore , Swift wears a Stella McCartney wool coat. While that coat is no longer for sale, there are plenty of look-a-likes, including this plaid Asos coat. Eras Tour movie outfit and fall wardrobe upgrade? Say less!
Sequin Mini Dress
Swift closes the Eras Tour with her most recent new album, Midnights , wearing a sparkling t-shirt dress.
"A Lot Going At The Moment" T-Shirt
When Swift performs the Red section of the show, she begins by wearing a graphic t-shirt. Wear your own to the Eras Tour film!
The Eras Tour Ghost Shirt
The Eras Tour movie is premiering right in the middle of spooky season, so why not combine the two with this cute ghost t-shirt?
adidas Python Track Pants
The Reputation era is all about snakes, and moviegoing is all about comfort...the right way to combine the two is obviously these Adidas snakeskin track pants.
ELLIATT Rosalind Dress
When Swift attended the Grammys in 2021 for folklore , she wore a floral Oscar de la Renta dress . While that is now sold out, similar dupes are available online.
Polo Ralph Lauren Corduroy Logo Embroidered Ball Cap
A deeper cut is referencing Swift's New York City street style recently, which has been extremely fun to watch. She's worn this corduroy Polo Ralph Lauren baseball cap a few times, making it a nice subtle Swiftie reference.

Who designs Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour outfits?
Taylor has been bringing out the big guns for her global tour. Notable designers include Fausto Puglisi who heads up Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli. Fausto describes himself as a Sicilian maverick. He designed 12 of the looks from Taylor’s Eras shows, including the skintight snake catsuit from the Reputation era, and the gold-fringed minidress from her Fearless era.

And Taylor isn’t the only superstar he has dressed – J-Lo and Zendaya have also had the honour. He also designed the cape that Madonna wore on her Madame X album.
Another designer that has been tapped by Taylor for her stage costumes is Donatella Versace. The legendary designer was the mastermind behind Taylor’s bejewelled bodysuits that feature in the Lover section of her shows.
And rounding off the Lover looks are a pair of custom-made, jewel-encrusted, knee-high boots from none other than Christian Louboutin. With their signature red soles, Louboutins are the footwear of choice for the rich, famous and impeccably dressed.

Italian dressmaker Alberta Ferretti also has a starring role on the Eras Tour. Her ethereal and dreamy gowns complements the Folklore section of Taylor’s shows completely.
Taylor has also selected a number of lesser-known names to wear alongside fashion powerhouses like Oscar de la Renta and Ellie Saab. Indie designer Anish Gupta created the sequin slogan T-shirts emblazoned with her iconic lyrics “WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER, LIKE EVER”
And with that impressive list of designers, we couldn't resist the urge to round up all the Eras Tour stage ensembles she's worn so far, check out all the Taylor tour looks (as well as her newest additions)...
Taylor Swift opens with the Lover era
Taylor starts the beginning of every show looking drop-dead gorgeous in a custom Versace sequined bodysuit and sparkly Louboutin heels, setting the bar high for the rest of the concert's wardrobe!
She later accessories the look halfway through the 'Lover' set when she sports a bedazzled blazer over the top of the opening ensemble – wow!
- 'Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince'
- 'Cruel Summer'
- 'The Man'
- 'You Need to Calm Down'
- 'Lover'
- 'The Archer'
Taylor's Fearless setlist made everyone nostalgic
Next on the setlist was Taylor's 'Fearless' era, and she channelled her second studio album by stepping out in a re-imagination of her iconic glittered fringed dress.
She sings three tracks from 'Fearless (Taylor's Version)' all whilst twirling around with her rhinestones guitar, it's like its 2008 all over again!
- 'Fearless'
- 'You Belong With Me'
- 'Love Story'
Taylor stunned in her Evermore get-up
Taylor brought the 'evermore' record alive when she donned a whimsical burnt yellow dress that seemed like it leapt straight from the stories of her folky album.
She even brought along a moss-covered piano to complete the 'evermore' aesthetic when singing 'Champagne Problems', in total she treated 70,000 fans to performances of five 'evermore' tracks.
- ''tis the damn season'
- 'willow'
- 'marjorie'
- 'champagne problems'
- 'tolerate it'
Taylor brought back the drama of her Reputation tour
The 33-year-old pop star called back to her Reputation World Tour with the fiery look she donned during the next segment of the concert.
She brought all the drama as she performed in a snake-embellished one-legged bodysuit from Roberto Cavalli.
Taylor delivered four unforgettable 'Reputation' tracks, even bringing out dancers wearing a host of her most iconic looks during her 'Look What You Made Me Do' performance.
- '…Ready for It?'
- 'Delicate'
- 'Don’t Blame Me'
- 'Look What You Made Me Do'
Taylor brings the Speak Now's fairytale vibes to The Eras Tour
It may have been short but sweet but Taylor made quite the impact with the one song she chose to sing from the 'Speak Now' record.
Her fairytale-esque dresses are back for The Eras Tour as she belts out fan-favourite track 'Enchanted' whilst wearing a sequinned ball gown fit for a princess!
The gowns are strikingly similar to the Valentino one she wore during the 'Speak Now' tour back in 2012.
Taylor's iconic 'Red' looks are back on the stage
The next section of the tour sees Taylor don three looks that call back to her 'Red' album with looks we've seen before!
She kicks off this era with '22' and even sports one of her outfits from the music video, and of course, she just had to close the set with 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)' – she sure knows how to treat us!

- 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'
- 'I Knew You Were Trouble'

Taylor looks ethereal in her Folklore looks
Potentially one of the longest sets in the concerts, Taylor opts for a floaty floor length dress as she sings seven 'Folklore' songs!
Each night she rocks a Kate Bush-esque billowy gown to sing some of her most poetic tracks, giving fans an IRL rendition of this album for the first time – all whilst looking like an ethereal goddess.

Taylor is the 1989 pop princess all over again
Swift gave us another blast from the past with 1989 World Tour references whilst she sang the likes of 'Style', 'Shake It Off' and 'Bad Blood'.
She did so whilst wearing a bejewelled two-piece co-ord that just oozes her 2014 era, and the look comes in hot pink and emerald!
- 'Style'
- 'Blank Space'
- 'Shake It Off'
- 'Wildest Dreams'

Taylor stuns in romantic gowns for her acoustic set
Taylor dials down the drama during her acoustic set that becomes the penultimate section of the show.
Each night she surprises fans with a stripped-back set of two songs every night that haven't before been in the setlist.
On opening night she sang 'Tim McGraw' and 'Mirrorball', read this article to get the full list of every surprise song she's performed so far.
Taylor's Midnights outfits end the show with a bang
Of course, Taylor ended her show with her most recent release and tenth studio album!
She knew how to finish off the event when she brought a seven-track set of 'Midnights' material to the stage and sported four iconic looks in the process.
From a lavender fur coat to a jet-black glittering bodysuit, Taylor pulled out all the stops for her closing era. What. A. Wardrobe!
- 'Lavender Haze'
- 'Anti-Hero'
- 'Midnight Rain'
- 'Vigilante Shit'
- 'Bejeweled'
- 'Mastermind'

Taylor Swift is officially in her “Eras” era. On March 17 and 18, the singer kicked off her Eras tour in Glendale, Arizona, which temporarily renamed itself Swift City, ERAzona, in honor of the start of the tour.
It might only be the first leg of her Eras Tour , but Swift is already delivering when it comes to fashion. During her Glendale set, the singer sported looks from Oscar de la Renta, Alberta Ferretti and Versace, among many other notable designers. While her fans are attending the tour for the music, Swift is poised to give a mini-fashion show at each leg. WWD has rounded up some of the singer’s looks so far.

Swift donned another version of her custom bodysuit from Versace for her Arlington, Texas performance. This bodysuit came with a different color scheme, featuring sequins in bronze, gold and aqua.
Nicole Felicia Couture
Swift looked like a Disney princess come to life in this Nicole Felicia custom ballgown. The costume alluded to a previous gown Swift wore on the “Speak Now Tour” that was designed by Valentino. Swift also wore this designer in her “I Bet You Think About Me” music video.
Oscar de la Renta
For the finale act of weekend one of the Eras Tour, Swift wore two looks from Oscar de la Renta. The first was a black sequin bodysuit with fringe trim paired with sparkling black Louboutin boots, and the second was a midnight bodysuit, crystal T-shirt and lavender faux fur coat, both inspired by her “Midnights” album.
For her MetLife Stadium leg of the tour, Swift brought out Ice Spice to perform the remix of her song “Karma.” Swift wore a custom midnight blue sequin bodysuit from Oscar de la Renta.
Roberto Cavalli
Another standout look that set the internet abuzz was an asymmetrical sequin bodysuit with a beaded pattern of snakes on it referencing what some fans called her “snake era.”
In a classic Taylor Swift look, the singer wore a sparkling fringe dress with sparkling silver boots. She wore a similar gold fringe dress from Roberto Cavalli for the opening of her Speak Now Tour.
A stylie that was a testament to the craftsmanship of the Roberto Cavalli brand was a dégradé look created using thousands of hand-applied Swarovski crystals. The outfit was paired with knee-high sequin Christian Louboutin boots.
Alberta Ferretti
Swift wore two custom Alberta Ferretti gowns for her Glendale dates, both featuring Grecian and cottagecore inspiration. Both gowns were made from chiffon and featured airy fluid silhouettes.
Channeling her “Folklore” era, Alberta Ferretti created this dress for Taylor Swift channeling a wood nymph fairy. This green dress with its leaf design detail is a custom look from Alberta Ferretti’s spring 2023 collection worn for the Tampa leg of the Eras Tour.
Zuhair Murad
For another bohemian cottagecore look, Swift wore an orange ruffled, tie-front dress. The one-of-a-kind dress was created by Etro’s creative director Marco de Vincenzo.
Swift poked fun at herself in this custom T-shirt from Ashish Studio. Underneath the T-shirt, she wore a sequin bodysuit that looked like a regular pair of shorts.
On the East Rutherford leg of her tour, Ashish draped Swift in this custom red sequin duster with a trench-style silhouette. The duster contrasted with her sparkling black guitar.
Swift was the bell of her own ball for the night one of the Tampa Swift leg of her tour wearing a dark beige silk tulle ballgown featuring a silver crystal embroidered bodice with long sleeves, scoop neckline, and a dramatic, cascading skirt fully embroidered with gardenia-colored organza petals from Elie Saab’s fall 2022 couture collection.
Jessica Jones
Swift unveiled her red tiered pleated dress custom designed by Jessica Jones during the Tampa performance of the Eras Tour. She joined fellow musician Aaron Dessner on stage as they did a guitar duet.

Musicians Are in Their Eras Era
From Taylor Swift to Madonna to Missy Elliott, stars are increasingly blurring the lines between past and present.
Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy.
There was a time, not so long ago, when the term “era” brought to mind strictly academic concepts: a scale to measure the Earth’s geological time; a system for classifying sweeping events of human history; a theoretical timeline of our known universe.
If this trend has a progenitor, it’s Taylor Swift : The musician’s career-spanning Eras Tour is reportedly the highest-grossing tour of all time. “Branding it as the Eras Tour and doing a greatest-hits run pulled in so many people, because you go to a show and it’s so clear how many fans came from the country years, and how some didn’t become Swifties until Reputation ,” says Elana Fishman, Page Six style editor and bona fide Swiftie. And Swift didn’t just revisit those eras musically; she also paid homage to the aesthetics of each album cycle, whether through a Reputation -era snake slithering across a Roberto Cavalli catsuit or a sequined matching set that called back to her 1989 persona.
Of course, Swift didn’t invent the idea of tying fashion to different album cycles—that would be Madge, the Queen of Pop herself. Madonna committed to changing everything—from hairstyle to makeup to wardrobe—for each new record cycle, as if creating characters, in a way that few have achieved before or since. “Other artists have also had eras, but they may have had the same hair color throughout all of them. It doesn’t really count,” says creative director and stylist Shannon Stokes, who’s worked with Beyoncé , Rihanna , and SZA . “To me, those are great, and those can still be considered eras, but as a true textbook, you always have to go to Madonna.”
For Stokes, creating and revisiting these visually disparate eras isn’t just useful in distinguishing album cycles, it also creates a fuller picture of the artists themselves. Fans feel more connected to a multifaceted musician. “When you’re doing everything properly, people get to see who you are in all different [areas] of your life: your sexual sides, your fun sides, your vulnerable sides, your introspective sides,” he explains. “It creates a stronger bond, because that fan base feels like they know you more, seeing all sides of your personality.”
It’s notable that there are very few male artists playing with visual identity in quite the same way. While there are some, like Harry Styles or Lil Nas X, dabbling in tying fashion to album cycles, Paul McCartney isn’t exactly hauling out a Sgt. Pepper jacket on his tours. Maybe female stars feel more pressure to constantly reinvent themselves. Or maybe they’re embarking on a high-stakes version of what we all do when embarking on a makeover. Whether it’s a post-breakup closet cleanse or a big-ticket luxury purchase to celebrate a milestone, our clothes reflect who we are at different moments in time—and revisiting those pieces can be liberating, not to mention a fun way of remembering our former selves.
“We, as regular people, have had eras too,” Stokes says. “It’s an evolution, but you still can differentiate the time periods when you were living a certain way and therefore dressing a certain way and doing certain things.” While she may not have invented the wheel, Swift has discovered how to put her own spin on it, keeping fans engaged in the process. She’s taught followers to hunt for clues about upcoming album cycles in her clothes, fueling speculation that Reputation (Taylor’s Version) would be her next re-release with a pair of Jimmy Choo x Jean Paul Gaultier boots—or announcing her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department , with a white Schiaparelli gown at the Grammys.
“A few months before the album rollout really starts, she’ll solidify what her aesthetic is going to be for that era,” Fishman says. “It keeps people hooked, because they’re decoding these clues and zooming in on Getty Images of her paparazzi walks and saying, ‘Is that a snake on her ring, or is it just a vine twisting?’ It becomes a real game.”
And while reinvention may still be all the rage among younger artists, one thing is for sure: There’s no longer a reason to fear history repeating itself. This article appears in the May 2024 issue of ELLE.

The Real Reason Taylor Swift Dresses Like That
A close read on a decade of outfits..
This article was featured in One Great Story , New York ’s reading recommendation newsletter. Sign up here to get it nightly.
Considering the meta nature of Taylor Swift’ s performances — her autobiographical lyrics and her intimate connection with audiences — it’s unsurprising that her fashion choices betray self-consciousness. One senses that she isn’t entirely comfortable with high fashion, and maybe that’s something she shares with her young fans and why they instinctively relate to her. Swift is 34 and one of the most successful musical artists in history , with an empire estimated at over $1 billion . And much of that success is due to the image she projects — of a woman still coming of age, still discovering herself. Any style that’s too sophisticated or eccentric would spoil the illusion, and that goes for her red-carpet and casual attire as well as her stage clothes.
For the Eras tour, which had 16 costumes per show, Swift did have some looks by Versace, Oscar de la Renta, and Roberto Cavalli. But these are not the most exciting designer names. Besides, the Cavalli and Versace styles — a beaded miniskirt and cropped top or a bejeweled bodysuit, all worn with glitter boots — conformed to Swift’s favorite stage aesthetic of a drum majorette. She dressed like a marching-band leader, in a gold-braided white jacket and top hat, for her 2009 global Fearless tour. To me, so many of her costumes are reminiscent of the corny saloon-gal styles that another American sweetheart, Debbie Reynolds, wore in westerns, as well as the spangled costumes that the great Bob Mackie designed for TV variety shows in the 1960s and ’70s. There’s a wonderful hoofer charm, a showgirl moxie, about these Swift looks that resonate with audiences. During Eras, Swift also wore ethereal princess gowns — another key style for the singer — like a dreamy Elie Saab number in blush tulle and a lavender tiered Nicole + Felicia dress, both worn for the Speak Now section.
By contrast, other pop divas have harnessed high fashion to their power. Look at Madonna’s “Blond Ambition” phase, in 1990, and her use of Jean Paul Gaultier’s shocking designs. Beyoncé, for her Renaissance tour, completely bent fashion to her will, taking the work of some of the most daring designers — Marc Jacobs, Rick Owens, and Jonathan Anderson of Loewe, to name three — and pushing their looks for her further into fantasy.
That’s not Swift’s jam or, rather, her brand. She sees herself as a storyteller, in the tradition of Joni Mitchell. She has sung about love, breakups, revenge, family, and self-loathing. These are universal themes and especially relevant to girls and young women. Swift is famous for planting what she calls “ Easter eggs” — hidden clues — in her lyrics. Describing the strategy as a way to “incentivize” fans to read her lyrics, she has said, “I think the best messages are cryptic ones.” This also applies to her style. Indeed, with Swift — more than most pop stars — every choice seems to relate to her work or the Swift brand image. One obvious, feel-good connection point with her audience — which includes moms who accompany their daughters to concerts — is nostalgia and a feeling of pageantry. Some of her frothy gowns evoke not only high-school prom and images of old-style debutante parties but also the glamour of Edith Head’s movie costumes in the 1950s. Swift has said that watching Hitchcock’s Rear Window — gowns by Head — and reading the romantic novel Rebecca during lockdown influenced her albums Folklore and Evermore . In a cynical, fast-moving world, that kind of traditional form can seem quite attractive.
It’s also worth noting that Swift is hyperaware of the dangers of celebrity. “I see a lot of celebrities build up these emotional walls around themselves where they let no one in,” she said in 2014, “and that’s what makes them feel very lonely at the top.” Staying emotionally open in her lyrics and accessible in her fashion is surely a way she avoids creating walls. Her fans must sense that. But it can lead to some self-conscious looks on the red carpet and in her street attire. This was true of the white custom-made Schiaparelli gown with a floor-sweeping hem and train that she wore to this year’s Grammys , which was criticized across social media. On Instagram, Sarah Chapelle (@taylorswiftstyled), who is publishing a book this fall about Swift’s style, likened the gown’s draping to “tangled bedsheets” and said that considering it was the work of Daniel Roseberry, it was “almost a greater disappointment.” Chapelle, who has spent years tracking and decoding every detail of Swift’s outfits, assumed that the gown and its black accessories were Easter eggs. This time, the hint was to her forthcoming album The Tortured Poets Department, which has a black-and-white cover of a woman in black underwear lying in white sheets. Chapelle hunted down the make of the undies — a sheer Saint Laurent top and The Row’s briefs — and noted that Swift’s wearing so much of late from those brands was no coincidence. “Is there ever one with Taylor, really?” wrote Chapelle. She felt that the beautiful elements of the Schiaparelli gown were “sacrificed to the early evocation of a scholarly-sounding album.”
In other words, Swift laid a bad egg.
There is also a fair amount of calculation in the singer’s off-duty clothes — more than a non-Swifty might suppose, given how basic much of her street style is. Her favorite looks, and maybe her best, are easy slip dresses, or a frilly white shirt with denim cutoffs and boots, or a schoolgirl plaid skirt with a plain sweater and chunky loafers — what one Swiftologist calls “liberal arts student, Shoreditch dweller.” Though Swift is known for wearing relatively inexpensive brands like Rails, House of CB (for a $119 black bustier top she wore earlier this year with a $1,400 Miu Miu mini), Madewell and Reformation, she also wears a lot of high-end labels, including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, The Row, Stella McCartney, and Area. Lots of celebrities play with a similar high-low mix, but with Swift, the effect generally comes off as decidedly junior, as though she’s consciously trying not to get above her fans’ tastes or means.
As a Kansas City Chiefs fan, I watched Swift’s appearances during the NFL season to cheer on her boyfriend , Travis Kelce . Still, I found nothing special about her red sweaters and bombers, with layers of gold jewelry, other than a tie-in to K.C.’s team color. But Chapelle found the Easter eggs. The red crewneck, from Gigi Hadid’s Guest in Residence brand , that Swift wore to the Chiefs’ title match with the Ravens was a “sentimental” nod to a friend. In Chapelle’s view, its plainness showed that Swift was careful “to strike a more supportive spectator (not starring) role” at such a big game. Chapelle clocked her diamond tennis bracelet with the romantic letters “TNT” and then linked the style to the friendship bracelets her fans wear, a fad that started because of a line in a song she wrote.
The fact that Swift makes all these gestures, with or without the help of a stylist (she has long worked with Joseph Cassell), is a great way to keep her fans engaged. And apparently, it’s also good for business. But it seems exhausting and limiting for a woman in her mid-30s to dress according to a lyric or a girlish sentiment. You can understand why many people on fan sites wish she’d take more risks with her street style. They’re probably bored with the “liberal arts student” look. It’s also a little disingenuous, given her grown-up status. I admire the fact that she doesn’t seem interested in playing the high-fashion game — that is, turning up at the shows or appearing in a campaign or being a brand ambassador. She has her own immense platform, which she’s used for political and social causes.
But she could afford to go further in her style. Instead of a schoolgirl skirt or a baggy pair of jeans, she’d look amazing in, say, a sleek Dior pencil suit, made to measure — why not? — and without all the trinket jewelry, however expensive. It’s worth remembering that Taylor Swift has always been older and wiser than her years. The girl can’t be discovering herself forever.

Taylor Swift Displays Friendship Bracelets Received from Fans on Eras Tour at Country Music Hall of Fame

Where are all the friendship bracelets Taylor Swift has received from fans throughout the Eras Tour?
In conjunction with the release of Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department , on April 19, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville began displaying a new artwork in its Taylor Swift Education Center featuring many of the bracelets fans have given the pop superstar.
The new artwork commemorates the 2023 leg of Eras Tour shows in North America, featuring unique posters labeled with specific dates and cities as well as what appears to be hundreds of friendship bracelets gifted to Swift, 34, by concertgoers, according to a press release.

Several other new artifacts have been added to the Taylor Swift Education Center around the release of TTPD , including a custom Taylor PSGA Koa guitar featuring her name engraved into the fingerboard that was played by the "Karma" singer during The Red Tour.
Also on display is the Deering Boston B6 six-string acoustic-electric banjo played by Swift for her performance of "Mean" on the 2012 Grammy Awards — where the song won both best country solo performance and best country song. She even decorated the instrument by hand with "13" on the banjo head as well as lyrics from "Mean" and doodles of clouds and stars.
Swifties will also be able to view the "Fortnight" musician's outfit from both the 2006 ACM Awards and CMA Music Festival: a sequined BCBG Max Azria silk handkerchief dress adorned and BCBGGirls decoratively-stitched metallic bronze boots.

The Eras Tour kicked off in March 2023 and marked Swift's first tour since releasing the albums Lover , Folklore , Evermore and Midnights. Many fans took it upon themselves to create beaded bracelets utilizing phrases or titles from her music, inspired by a lyric from "You're On Your Own, Kid," where she sings, "Everything you lose is a step you take / So make the friendship bracelets / Take the moment and taste it / You've got no reason to be afraid."
Friendship bracelets have since become something of a phenomenon at Swift's concerts. Even celebrities have joined in on the fun , with Lupita Nyong'o , Sarah Paulson , Kumail Nanjiani , Mindy Kaling , Simu Liu, Joe Locke, Selena Gomez , Mariska Hargitay , Savannah Guthrie , Halsey , Lance Bass , Flavor Flav and more sharing photos from the Eras Tour after receiving bracelets.

Before Swift officially entered a relationship with Travis Kelce, the NFL star was already in the know regarding the friendship bracelet trend — and attempted to use one to make a move on her .
"If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it," said Kelce on a July 2023 episode of his New Heights podcast, noting that he wasn't ultimately able to meet her and give the gift. (Luckily for him, they connected through other avenues and have remained together since going public in September 2023 .)

Will Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Setlist Change After ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Release?
Taylor Swift ’s The Tortured Poets Department has already captivated the world , leaving her fans to wonder whether any of the new songs will pop up on her Eras Tour setlist.
Swift, 34, kicked off her three-hour concert series in March 2023 in Arizona, soon traversing the United States, Central and South America, Asia and Australia. The shows highlight most of her past albums: Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Folklore, Evermore and Midnights . There also is a section dedicated to “surprise songs,” where Swift adds two new acoustic renditions (most recently, mash-ups) to the show.
Swift has been on hiatus since early March, weeks before The Tortured Poets Department dropped on Friday, April 19. The record, her 11th studio album, features 31 songs including “Fortnight,” “So Long, London,” “Fresh Out the Slammer,” “So High School” and “thanK you aIMee.”
Swift’s fans planning to see Eras later this year — the tour leg kicks off in Paris on Thursday, May 9 — have since taken to social media, curious if they will be able to hear any TTPD live.

“OK listen I NEED Taylor to add ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ to the Eras Tour setlist. … Just that ONE. … PLEASE. … It was MADE for the Eras Tour !!!!!!!!!!” a social media user wrote via X.
Another added, “I am so obsessed with Taylor’s new album idk how to survive the Eras Tour (if I actually go twice I might just drop dead afterwards).”
Since Eras has sections dedicated to Swift’s previous albums , it is possible that TTPD could get its own mini-set in the lineup. Not all of her preexisting cohorts feature the same amount of songs, so Swift could cut some songs in order to add a time for Tortured Poets additions .
Spotify added further fuel to the fire on Friday as Swifties noticed the streaming platform’s official video for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” a TTPD track, features footage solely from the Eras Tour.

Swift’s musical director David Cook , who has also been featured on several of her past LPs, also hinted that TTPD songs could make an appearance on the tour lineup.
“Not sure how much I can add to the discourse other than this album is really REALLY good. You FEEL it,” Cook wrote via Instagram on Friday, quoting “Loml” with a mind-blown emoji.
According to eagle-eyed Swifties that captured screenshots, Cook also wrote, “Wait until you hear the live versions.” The addition, however, has since been deleted.
Of course, it is also possible that Swift will drop a TTPD single in her surprise song section.
“How will The Tortured Poets Department affect the Eras Tour ? Hopefully only on surprise songs (in a good way),” an X user theorized.
While Swift has yet to address if TTPD will affect her Eras Tour setlist, she’s given fans insight into how she picks song s for the acoustic section.

“This has become my favorite part of the show because it’s become very chaotic and it’s become a challenge for me to think of new things to do for every single city,” Swift told the crowd in Singapore in March. “And hope that I’m doing something that you guys might like. It’s been a blast!”
Per the Grammy winner, she “invented [her] crazy acoustic section,” to be able to play “as many songs” as she could way over the 44 staples at each show. Adding TTPD tracks there seems like an easy way to do just that, if you ask Us.
The Tortured Poets Department is out now and Swift’s Eras Tour resumes on Thursday, May 9.

Taylor Swift's outfit in new 'Fortnight' video designed by Milwaukee artist Elena Velez
In her latest music video, “Fortnight,” Taylor Swift donned a Victorian-gothic-style outfit that was designed by emerging Milwaukee artist Elena Velez .
The video, which was released Friday, had nearly 18 million views by Saturday night on YouTube and is the No. 1 trending video for music.
The ensemble designed by Velez and worn by Swift makes its appearance at a little more than one minute into the video just before the music artist Post Malone makes an appearance and the two performers start using early 1900s typewriters.
The all-black outfit is actually separates and is not a dress, according to the Taylor Swift fashion blog Taylorswiftstyle.com .
The pieces are from Velez’s Fall 2024 collection, which debuted in February.
Velez told Vogue magazine that her intentions with this collection included bringing a “more multi-dimensional representation of womanhood, good and bad; one that accepts the difficult, complicated, ugly truth of being a woman as part of the beauty that makes us whole…”
The dark and gloomy outfit fits the overall mood of Swift’s new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
It is reminiscent of the dresses worn by high-class women of the late 1800s and early 1900s in Europe and the U.S.
The look was popularized by Queen Victoria of England, who wore elegant and elaborate funeral garb in public mourning of her husband Albert, who died in 1861, until her own death in 1901.
Velez posted a picture of Swift wearing the ensemble on her Instagram page , but she has not made public comments about the exposure, yet.
Velez is of Puerto Rican heritage but was raised in Milwaukee by a single mother who was a ship captain on the Great Lakes. Velez told Journal Sentinel reporter Hannah Kirby in March that influenced her artistic identity.
Educated in fashion design in Paris and London with degrees in 2018 and 2020, she was quickly noticed in the fashion world. Velez was the 2022 Council of Fashion Designers of America’s “Emerging Designer of the Year” award winner and the 2022 Vogue Fashion Fund winner.
Velez says on her website that some of her proudest work so far has been with Midwestern makers to help democratize resources and recognition for artists outside of traditional creative capitals.
She is now based in New York.

Hayley Williams is ready to hit the road with longtime pal, Taylor Swift ! The Paramore frontwoman gushed over Swift's new album, The Tortured Poets Department , while offering a tease of the band's upcoming Eras Tour run.
The 35-year-old musician took to her Instagram Story on Monday, after enjoying an electric Record Store Day over the weekend, to share a handful of her current favorite albums. Unsurprisingly, Swift's TTPD made the list.
"Had me from the storytelling alone, my friend," Williams wrote. "Every one of us knows this kind of grief! It's so impressive to me how specific and colorful Taylor's words get without ever losing the universal thread. I'm so ready to be tour-mates."
Also receiving honorable mentions from Williams were Beyoncé 's Cowboy Carter , Brittany Howard's What Now , Rufus Wainwright's Want One , Bee Gees' Main Course , Tierra Whack's World Wide Whack , Radiohead's The Bends , The Smile's Wall of Eyes , Blonde Redhead's Sit Down for Dinner and Idles' Tangk .
Paramore is set to open for Swift on her Eras Tour when it resumes on May 9 in Paris, France. The band will continue to tour with her through her remaining international tour dates, which includes a whopping eight shows at London's Wembley Stadium .
The dates come less than a year after Paramore's headlining This Is Why tour was derailed due to a lung infection for Williams. At the time, Williams shared with fans that she would be using her downtime to "dive head first into creating some better routines" and getting back into "the creative process."
"For me, when we get into this mode it always feels nice to disappear in a way," she admitted in a post on Discord . "Maybe this time I will be able to find balance between the disappearing and yet not completely shutting out the world. But probably not."
It was last summer that Swift, 34, announced that Williams' band would be joining her on the Eras Tour around the same time she dropped Speak Now (Taylor's Version) . On the rerecorded full-length, Williams is featured on the from-the-vault track, "Castles Crumbling."
"Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour," Swift shared in July 2023. "And I get to travel the world doing shows with Paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???"
In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show , Williams spilled details on how she and Swift first became friends back in 2008.
"Me and Taylor met because both of us -- Paramore and Taylor -- were nominated for Best New Artist the same year at the GRAMMYS," she said.
Though the late Amy Winehouse took the trophy that night, Williams and Swift ended up at the same after-party.
"We were at some GRAMMY party -- it was actually Timbaland's GRAMMY party. [It was] huge. I was very nervous," Williams recalled. "But a woman came up to me and she said, 'I'm Taylor Swift's mom and, you know, Taylor doesn't have a lot of friends her age that do music. And I would love to, like, you know, introduce you guys or get your number or whatever.'"
"So Andrea, the legend that she is, she connected us," Williams added, referencing Taylor's mom, Andrea Swift.
Swift's 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets D epartment , and its lead single, " Fortnight " featuring Post Malone , were released on Friday to much fanfare.
In terms of traditional album sales, Billboard reports that Swift's TTPD sold 1.4 million copies -- including CD, vinyl, cassette and digital download versions -- in its first day alone. This surpasses her own biggest sales week, when 1989 (Taylor's Version) sold 1.359 million copies. All signs indicate that TTPD will be making a massive, record-shattering debut when tracking for its first week concludes on Thursday, April 25.
The 31-track collection -- which turned out to be a surprise double album -- features a hefty helping of heartbreak songs following her splits from Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy , as well as a few sweet love songs amid her current relationship with Travis Kelce .
"She has put her heart and soul into the music, just like with everything she does," a source told ET about the album, "and can't wait for her fans to listen to it and to share it with them."

Moscow is the capital of Russia. In 1156, Prince Yury Dolgoruky erected timber walls around Moscow, and a moat. He is generally regarded as a founder of Moscow, and his monument is among the most honoured in the city.
In 1755, Moscow University was opened, and in 1703, the first printed newspaper (“Vedomosti”) appeared. Moscow architecture reached its peak of perfection in the second half of the 18th century due to advanced Russian architects V.I. Bazhenov (Pashkov’s house), and M.F. Kazakov (the Senate building).
The present-day appearance of Moscow’s centre was founded after Napoleon wars in Europe. Thus, Alexandrov Garden and Theatre Square appeared alongside the Bolshoi and Maly theatres, as well as the buildings of Manezh and the First Gradskaya Hospital. The 19th century is known as a “golden age” for science and the arts, and Moscow was a birthplace for many famous artists, writers, painters and cientists. A number of outstanding politicians were also from the city. The world is familiar, of course, with figures whose talents and ideas made the glory of Russia: Pushkin, Gogol, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Herzen, Pirogov, Sklifosofsky, Vasnetsov, Serov, Levitan and many others.
Today, Moscow is the largest economic, political and scientific centre of Russia.

Red Square is a city square in Moscow, Russia. It separates the Kremlin, the former royal citadel and now the official residence of the President of Russia, from a historic merchant quarter known as Kitai-gorod. Red Square is often considered to be the central square of Moscow since the city’s major streets, which connect to Russia’s key key highways, originate there.
The square was laid out in the 15th century. Until the middle of the 17th century, Red Square was known as “Pozhar” – the place destroyed by fire. The name “Red” (or “Krasnaya,” which means “beautiful” in old Russian) came in the mid-17thh century. The main architectural detail of the square was the Cathedral of the Intercession on the Moat – the Kremlin walls were surrounded by a moat. It later took the folk name of the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed.
In front of the cathedral was a marketplace, also the scene of religious ceremonies, appearances by the tsar, and the announcement of court verdicts from the Lobnoye Mysto. The square is a lasting witness to Russia’s dramatic history. The Victory Parade to celebrate the defeat of Nazism was held there on June 24th, 1945.

Moscow Kremlin
The Moscow Kremlin or simply the Kremlin is a fortified complex in the center of Moscow, overlooking the Moskva River to the south, Saint Basil’s Cathedral and Red Square to the east, and the Alexander Garden to the west. It is the best known of the Kremlins (Russian citadels) and includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. In addition, within this complex is the Grand Kremlin Palace that was formerly the Tsar’s Moscow residence. The complex now serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation and as a museum with 2,746,405 visitors in 2019.
The name “Kremlin” means “fortress inside a city”, and is often also used metonymically to refer to the government of the Russian Federation in a similar sense to how the “White House” refers to the Executive Office of the President of the United States. It previously referred to the government of the Soviet Union (1922–1991) and its highest members (such as general secretaries, premiers, presidents, ministers, and commissars). The term “Kremlinology” refers to the study of Soviet and Russian politics.
Christ the Savior Cathedral
The Cathedral of Christ the Savior is a Russian Orthodox cathedral in Moscow, Russia, on the northern bank of the Moskva River, a few hundred meters southwest of the Kremlin. With an overall height of 103 meters (338 ft), it is the second tallest Orthodox Christian church in the world, after the People’s Salvation Cathedral in Bucharest, Romania.
The current church is the second to stand on this site. The original church, built during the 19th cen- tury, took more than 40 years to build and was the scene of the 1882 world premiere of the 1812 Over- ture composed by Tchaikovsky. It was destroyed in 1931 on the order of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. The demolition was supposed to make way for a colossal Palace of the Soviets to house the country’s legislature, the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Construction started in 1937 but was halted in 1941 when Germany invaded the Soviet Union during World War II. Its steel frame was disassembled the follow- ing year, and the Palace was never built. Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the current church was rebuilt on the site between 1995 and 2000.
The State Historical Museum
The museum of incredible beauty, dedicated to the ancient Rus’ and the imperial era, seems to be as old as the Kremlin. It was built until the end of the 19th century, and thanks to its neo-Russian style it does not look out of place among the other buildings in Red Square.
The State Historical Museum on the Red Square was founded by the order of Emperor Alexander 2 in 1872. Built by architect V. Sherwood and engineer A. Semenov, the museum opened to the public in 1883.
Today the State Historical Museum is the national treasure chest of Russia, storage of historical relics of the world. The history and culture of Russia from old times is represented by more than 4.5 million objects and more than 15 million of unique archive documents.
Tsaritsyno Museum-reserve
The estate is known from the late 16th century when it belonged to Tsarina Irina, sister of Tsar Boris Godunov. It was called Bogorodskoye at that time. It belonged to the Streshnevs and then to the Gal- itzines in the 17th century.Tsaritsyno is located in the south of Moscow and includes an architectural complex of the late 18th century, Greenhouses, Historical Landscaped Park with ponds, and new park zones with Light dynamic fountain. The territory covers 405 hectares.
The palace complex created as a suburb residence of Empress Catherine II. It was designed and built by the architect Vasily Bazhenov. Later the new Grand Palace by Matvey Kazakov became the center of the composition. The buildings were not completed. Work stopped after the Empress’s death. There are a history and architecture museum, a landscape park with an adjacent forest, an art museum, the Biryulyovo dendropark, and a cascade of the Tsaritsyno ponds. There are many pavilions, pergolas, arbors, artificial grottos, decorative bridges around the palace in the park. There are Russian Orthodox temple “Source of Life” and a modern recreation center with an upscale restaurant in the park.Ski and skating are available in winter and a climbing wall in the summer. There are trips around the park on an electric car along several popular routes. It is a great place for leisure and relax!
Ascension Church in Kolomenskoe
Kolomenskoe, a former estate of Moscow grand dukes and Russian tsars, is located on the right-hand bank of the Moskva river. Today it is a museum-reserve, a monument of Russian architecture of 16th and 17th-century and is a favorite venue of popular festivities and theatrical shows featuring episodes of Russian history. The Church of the Ascension was built in 1532 in the imperial estate of Kolomenskoe, near Moscow, to celebrate the birth of the prince who was to become Tsar Ivan IV (‘the Terrible’). One of the earliest examples of a traditional wooden tent-roofed church made of stone and bricks, it had a great influence on the development of Russian ecclesiastical architecture.
The church is of great importance for planning the town, as it dominates the surrounding architectur- al structures and landscape, and provides visual unity to all the elements of the estate. The Church of the Ascension is unsurpassed in its marvelous beauty and elegance it’s forms. It was built despite the strict canons of ecclesiastical architecture of the 16th century. Its a one-pillar construction, which is different from the usual five-domed structure of four pillars, that looks like a memorial sculpture with architectural features that incorporated the best of Byzantine, Greek, Roman, Gothic, and ancient Russian traditions. The example of the architecture of the Church of the Ascension in Kolomenskoe then became widespread all over the country shortly and later the tent-like style became the embod- iment of Russian national architectural tradition.
Spaso-Andronikov Convent
Originally founded in 1320, this monastery is famous for its icon painting monk, Andrei Rublev who lived and died here in the early 14th century. Rublev is a well-known master that worked on the icons of the Kremlin’s Cathedral of Annunciation and many other churches. Today there is the Cathedral of the Savior, and the museum named after Rublev is housed in the adjacent Chapel of St. Michael Archangel.
The walls of the 15th century Spaso-Andronikov Convent show traces from the hand of Andrey Ru- blev, buried at the site, and his friend Daniel Cherney. There are many burial places of great figures of Russian culture and art and monuments surviving from days of communist purges in the territory of the Convent. The children of families that were considered opponents of the system were kept in the convent during years of repression. The convent houses a unique collection of ancient icons and depicts the process of their creation, including the technology used in preparing boards and paints.
Novodevichy Convent
Novodevichy Convent is one of Moscow’s most beautiful sights which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004. Novodevichy Convent can be translated as New Maiden Convent. It was founded in1524 on the orders of Grand Prince Vasili III of Moscow to celebrate Russia’s recapture of Smolensk in 1514. The convent is dedicated to the Our Lady of Smolensk Icon. It was built as a fortified convent on the River Moskva. Later the convent served as a place of retirement or imprisonment for female members of royal family.
Irina Godunova became a nun under the name of Aleksandra at the convent in 1598 and died there in 1603. Sofia Alekseevna, the sister of Peter the Great and former regent of Russia, was imprisoned here from 1689 up to her death in 1704. Most of the buildings in the convent and its walls date from around this time. In 1727, Tsarina Yevdokia Lopukhina (the first wife of Peter the Great) was permitted by her grandson Emperor Peter II to return from the exile in Schlisselburg and to settle at Novodevichy Con- vent. She died there in 1731. French troops were leaving Moscow in 1812 and they tried to burn down the convent, but the fire was put out by the nuns in time according to legend. The convent was closed in 1922 and reorganized as a museum which became a branch of the State Historical Museum in 1934.
Moscow State University
Welcome to Moscow State University, the first Russian University founded in 1755 on the initiative of Mikhail Lomonosov, an outstanding scientist of the Enlightenment, whose unsettled encyclopedic mind and energy gave the inner impetus to the project. From the very beginning, elitism was alien to the very spirit of our community, which determined the University’s long-standing democratic tra- dition. Students irrespective of their background have been always admitted to University to further become our renowned alumni – famous scientists and scholars. And the students convene here, as they have always done, to study, to research, to push at the frontiers of knowledge.
Today, the emphasis is on advancing the applied science: new materials, genetics, biomedicine, phar- maceutics, cognitive sciences, ecology, and information technologies. We work hard to preserve our heritage and develop our traditions of a comprehensive approach to higher education and science. Moscow University has a rich academic history. Yet the major commitment remains the same as it has been in centuries: to provide outstanding teaching, scholarship, and research. But what makes our University so lively is this intellectual spirit combined with inexhaustible curiosity.
Poklonnaya Gora
Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow is one of the main attractions of the capital, which perpetuated the memory of those who died during the Great Patriotic War. This is a memorial park located between Kutuzovsky Prospekt and Minsk Street. It is a popular holiday destination for Muscovites and guests of the capital. The park is part of the Memorial of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Ostankino TV Tower
In truth, the most attractive thing in height is an opportunity to rise above the everyday routine and interim and to examine the movement of life from above.
Therefore, tall structures symbolizing the drive of a modern person for progress attract a large num- ber of tourists all over the world. Interest in tower tourism became global after the foundation of the Global Federation of Great Towers, at the baseline of which was Ostankino Tower.
Built-in 1967 upon the project of Soviet engineer Nikitin, N.V., Ostankino Tower, reaching the height of 540 meters, it became an architectural and engineering milestone of its time. Such known sights of Moscow city as Star boulevard, Akademika Korolyova Street, All-Union Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNKh), and “Ostankino” TV Center are close to the tower not only territorially. In the era of conquering new heights by a human being, Ostankino District became a progressive and cultural part of the city, and Tower became a symbol of its time and city.

Bolshoi Theatre of Russia
On 28 March 1776, Catherine II granted the prosecutor, Prince Petr Urusov, the “privilege” of “main- taining” theatre performances of all kinds, including masquerades, balls and other forms of entertain- ment, for ten years. And it is from this date that Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre traces its history.
The Bolshoi building, which for many years now has been regarded as one of Moscow’s main sights, was opened on 20 October 1856, on Tsar Alexander II’s coronation day. On 29 October 2002, the Bol- shoi was given a New Stage and it was here it presented its performances during the years the Historic Stage was undergoing massive reconstruction and refurbishment. The reconstruction project lasted from l July 2005 to 28 October 2011. As a result of this reconstruction, many lost features of the historic building were reinstated and, at the same time, it has joined the ranks of most technically equipped theatre buildings in the world.
The Bolshoi Theatre is a symbol of Russia. It was awarded this honor due to the major contribution it made to the history of the Russian performing arts. This history is on-going and today Bolshoi Theatre artists continue to contribute to it many bright pages.
Kuskovo is an outstanding palace-and-park ensemble. In the 18th century, ceremonial receptions and grand gatherings turned it into a summer out-of-town pleasure house of Petr Sheremetev. Nowadays Kuskovo Estate is an official museum of Russian architecture, ceramic, and sculpture. The Palace is the center of the ensemble, which preserved the layout and decorative interiors, consisting of first- class works of Russian and Western European fine art; a unique collection of painting of the 18th cen- tury, gift portraits of Russian emperors and several generations of the owners of the estate.
The museum organizes 3-4 stationary stock exhibitions each year. The old traditions of the manor’s hospitality are being revived, the museum has excellent opportunities for organizing and conducting theater and entertainment programs, receptions, and festivities. In the summer, concerts and music festivals are held in the dance hall of the Palace with the participation of Russian and foreign perform- ers. The splendor of architectural monuments, genuine interiors, a park, and a unique collection of ceramics and glass will allow visitors to get an unforgettable experience, immerse themselves in the world of an old Russian estate.

La Marée menu is a real marine encyclopedia, so even the most experienced gourmet will discover some new clam, crustacean or rare wild fish. La Marée is a truly unique project not only for Russia, but for the entire world. Here you will be offered a classic French-style oyster set, a crudo of raw fish in Italian and sashimi in Japanese style – all on one plateau.
The restaurant is headed by the brand chef of the La Marée chain, Abdessattar Zitouni, who has forty years of experience in the world’s best restaurants. Zitouni has worked for the Four Seasons hotel chain for many years and has been creating gourmet masterpieces for La Marée for 8 years. He supervises the kitchens of three restaurants in Moscow, one in Saint Petersburg, and one in Monaco.
White rabbit
Located in the very heart of Moscow, White Rabbit is a world-famous project of Russia’s eminent restaurateur Boris Zarkov. A visit to this restaurant takes guests to a new level of gastronomic bliss.
Here Russian cuisine goes in unison with the latest gastronomic trends, and Russian traditional ingredients rise to the height of recognized delicacies.
Each dish in the menu is the result of long-distance expeditions and the most careful handling of traditions.
What’s more, White Rabbit boasts perhaps the best panoramic view over the historical center of the capital from the 16th floor of Smolensky Passage.
One of the halls of White Rabbit is Chef’s Table — the first and only gastronomic theater in Russia. Resident chefs present new sets, and world-renowned guest chefs bring their own tast- ing menu. Here, chefs communicate their philosophy through their culinary masterpieces as well as personal interaction.
Sakhalin restaurant is a project of Russian prominent restaurateur Boris Zarkov and the White Rabbit Family brand chef Vladimir Mukhin.
Here the focus is a variety of seafood straight from the Russian Far East: shells, crabs, shrimps and fish along with a unique 360-degree panoramic view of Moscow.
Sakhalin is all about Gastronomy as an art, where perfection of performance is achieved under the conductor’s baton of taste. It is a restaurant that plays the music of seas and oceans.
The Turandot restaurant serves Pan-Asian and European cuisine.
The combination of Eastern culinary traditions with the Western approach, the synthesis of the most interesting elements of different gastronomic cultures continue the game set by the restaurant’s unique interior, made in the European “Chinese” style of the XVII–XVIII centuries.
Since 2008, the Turandot kitchen has been headed by Dmitry Eremeev, who previously worked for the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and the famous Cafe Pushkin restaurant. This brilliant professional is always in tune with the latest gastronomic trends, striving to adopt the best of the world ‘s experience.
Cafe Pushkin
After touring Moscow some 50 years ago, the famous French chansonnier Gilbert Bécaud wrote a song about Café Pushkin. The song became incredibly popular in France; the French were looking for “Pushkin’s Cafe” when they came to Moscow, but could not find it, for it was only Bécaud’s poetic fantasy. It was this song that inspired Andrei Dellos, one of the most prominent Russian restaurateurs, to open a restaurant that revived the Russian cuisine of the past centuries.
Cafe Pushkin opened in 1999 in a Baroque mansion on Tverskoy Boulevard. Gilbert Bécaud performed his famous song at its grand opening.
The main menu of the restaurant was compiled after a year of culinary experiments and a detailed study of hundreds of old recipes. Today it offers Russian and French courses of the Golden Age.
