David Guetta is a French dance-pop DJ and producer who has sold over 15 million singles worldwide. Guetta learned and perfected his craft in Paris nightclubs throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

DJing professionally from the age of 18, and after spending years on the French club scene wowing crowds and winning fans, David Guetta formed Gum Productions in 2001 in partnership with DJ and producer Joachim Garraud. He subsequently released his first hit single “Just A Little More Love” which charted across Europe. The success of this single afforded Guetta the opportunity to release his debut album of the same name on the Virgin Records Label.

Two studio albums later, David Guetta began to find some success within the UK and across mainland Europe with the release of his album “Pop Life”. But it was his 2009 album “One Love” which bought him international success with singles “When Love Takes Over” and “Sexy Bitch” storming the charts worldwide.

The success of Guetta’s collaborations with Kelly Rowland and Akon on “One Love” paved the way for a mountain of collaborations for his fifth studio album “Nothing but the Beat” which features Nicki Minaj, Sia, Snoop Dogg and Taio Cruz, amongst others. The album hit the number one spot in the UK and reached number five in the US, with “Where Them Girls At” and “Titanium” performing well in the US and beyond.

David Guetta has toured all over the world – both on solo stints and alongside Rihanna in 2013. He has literally travelled over a million miles to bring his dance anthems to all four corners of the globe, and is known for releasing the party animal in his fans.

With two Grammys already under his belt and a strong legion of fans from across the globe, David Guetta’s fame and success will continue to balloon. It is without doubt a success produced of hard work, and is more than deserved.

The man behind some of the biggest anthems of the past few years, David Guetta is probably the best of his kind.

Previously not a house music fan, my mind was changed after a friend bought me a ticket to see David Guetta at Alexandra Palace in 2012. Reluctantly I went along, little did I know that after a 3 hour set, I would be converted forever!

Opening with ‘Titanium’ and following up with by blasting out hits like ‘When Love Takes Over’, ‘Sweat’ and ‘Wild Ones’, the crowd were sent into a frenzy as the energy in the room just kept on rising.

Clearly displaying why he is so respected by fellow DJs and artists alike, it may sound cheesy, but it really seemed like this is what David Guetta was born to do, as his permanent smile revealed just how much he was enjoying every minute. Huge production, made up of fireworks and confetti cannons, made the show even better.

It has always astounded me how DJs are able to sell out arenas, even stadiums in some parts of the world. The secret is in the infectiousness of their beats, something the David Guetta has perfected, making him one of the best. He has definitely converted me into a lifelong house music fan.

One of the biggest names in dance music has collaborated with a huge string of stars of the past decade to create some momentous world-wide hits. Now the French DJ has collated these into one massive live show where he drops in some of his personal favourite dance/pop records from a variety of eras.

You cannot fault David's charisma when playing to a live crowd, he visibly enjoys what he does as the more energy the crowd give the more animated Guetta becomes within his DJ box. As he drops the likes of 'Shot Me Down' and 'Titanium' he hypes the crowd further by dancing along with the masses.

His sets often feature numerous tracks from a variety of genres, recently he has been known to spin hits from Iggy Azeala, Linkin Park, Bastille, Hozier and Oasis. It is fair to say there is something for almost everyone during Guetta's set and you assured to dance along to at least one piece of music during sets that often last for 30 songs or more.

Usually finishing with 'Sexy Bitch' or 'Dangerous', the smile on David's face mimics the audience as he feels assured he has played a great show.

David Guetta is a French DJ and record producer, he was born on November 7, 1967, in Paris, France, where he was raised and started his career in 1984. He and Sidney made a single "Nation Rap" in 1990.

He is one of my favorite artists, and I love him as a DJ and I am so excited to be his biggest fan on earth.

It was just amazing, perfect show, with amazing lights effects and a perfect set !

Everything in the Halle Tony Garnier was cool, well organized and easy. No wait to enter, and no wait too to exit !

I’ve been to over 20+ shows this year and David Guetta was the worst. He started off great and absolutely downhilled and plateaued. Many people started leaving and the venue also oversold tickets. Waaaaaay too crowded.

The French DJ and producer has lined up seven dates, wrapping up with two shows at London's Brixton Academy on May 6-7.

He will also perform in Manchester, Brimingham, Brighton and Leeds.

The beginnings of David Guetta

David Guetta is a star! Born Pierre David Guetta, the Parisian has even been named the best DJ in the world by the magazine DJ Mag! But before becoming the David Guetta that everyone knows, the Frenchman built his success little by little. Working as a DJ in the 80's and 90’s in France, it is in Parisian nightclubs that David Guetta takes his first steps as a DJ. The first turning point of his career came when he convinced his managers to play his own sets, which were heavily influenced by acid house.

After DJ-ing in Ibiza and getting numerous talented artists to feature several of his tracks, David Guetta released his first compilation album, Fuck Me I’m Famous. It was at that point that the French DJ moved from Parisian clubs to tours around the world and chart-topping singles, such as “Love Don’t Let Me Go”, and “People Come People Go”. As of today, David Guetta has sold nearly 10 million albums and 30 million singles. Indeed, David Guetta is a hits machine. The most incredible period of his career is surely in 2009 when the French DJ released his fourth album, One Love. The song “When Love Takes Over”, which featured Kelly Rowland, topped numerous charts and sold over 5,5 million copies worldwide, and so did “Sexy Bitch”, featuring Akon. Recent years have seen the blond-haired sensation feature with some of biggest names in music. Kicking off the new year in style, David Guetta keeps the hits coming with a massive new BENNETT remix of ‘When We Were Young’, his hit single featuring GRAMMY-winning pop star Kim Petras.

Craig David confirms massive UK tour with special guest

Craig David, one of the UK's biggest and best R&B artists of all time, is going on tour once again.

The British performer has just confirmed The Commitment Tour will kick off in February 2025, with some of the country's biggest arena venues on the list.

Not only will he be hitting Newcastle's Utilita Arena and Milton Keynes' Marshall Arena, but he'll also be arriving at London's O2 Arena to finish off the event.

Speaking about going on tour next year, David said: "I can't wait to bring my band back to the UK for my 2025 Commitment arena tour! Looking forward to having a party and mixing up the classics and maybe something new..."

That's not all, however. David will be getting in the tour bus with another of the country's most renowned artists: Lemar.

The British singer songerwriter will be joining David on the arena tour, playing hits from his latest album, Page in My Heart.

Tickets come out at the end of the week, but there are plenty of presale events going on before then. And we have the breakdown below:

Kid Cudi cancels tour due to broken heel after jumping off Coachella stage

Kid Cudi has been forced to cancel his tour after breaking his foot during his Coachella set.

The US rapper broke the body part during a performance at the Californian music festival on Sunday.

Cudi, 40, jumped off stage to get closer to fans but obtained an injury in the process and had to be carried out of the Sahara tent.

The musician – real name Scott Mescudi – later posted an update on X to concerned fans, writing: ‘Hey guys, so I broke my foot today at the show. Just leavin’ the hospital.

‘Never broken a bone before so this is all a bit crazy.

‘I wanna thank u all for ur concerns and well wishes! I love yall man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big.’

Now, however, Cudi, who has worked with Eminem and Kanye West, said that he will have surgery on his ‘broken calcaneus’ and there will be ‘a long recovery time’.

‘We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all,’ he added on Instagram.

‘There’s just no way I can bounce back in time to give 100%. The injury is much more serious than I thought. Anyone who bought tickets will get a full refund, you’ll get an email soon.

‘We will be back with new tour dates as soon as possible and I can’t wait to get back out there with you guys and turn up how we do. I’m so sorry fam and I love you all so much, thanks for the endless love and support.

‘I’m really disappointed as I’m sure you guys are too, but I will be back. That’s a promise I’m ok, just a (little) soreness, but I’m in good spirits.’

He previously posted a video saying he learned a ‘valuable lesson’ that he would be doing ‘no more prancing around, jumping off stages’ and had hoped he would be ‘healed up’.

Also known for acting in the horror movie X, action movie Need for Speed and the animated TV series Knuckles, Cudi had been due to play US dates throughout June and August before moving to his European leg next year with gigs in London and Manchester.

In his set at Coachella last week, which was a later addition to the festival, he performed new songs MOON MAN S**T and BLUE SKY for the first time but it was during Memories – a song with David Guetta – that he tried to get closer to fans.

As Cudi falls to the ground, a security guard instantly comes to his aide before a photographer and another member of his team take an arm each to safely carry him away as the DJ played a Steve Aoki mix of his song Pursuit Of Happiness.

Cudi, who recently released his tenth studio album, last performed at Coachella in 2019 when he brought out Kanye West as a guest.

He is set to begin a North America tour in June with Pusha T. He is set to take the same Insano tour to the UK and other parts of Europe in 2025. It has not been discussed publicly if the injury will impact the performances.
