What Does Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance Tour’ VIP Package Include?

For weeks the Bey Hive has taken to social media to coordinate a financial plan in anticipation of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour announcement. Although tickets for the upcoming haven’t gone on sale to the general public, social media has begun to speculate not only what the potential ticket prices will be but if there will be a VIP package add-on.

Well, one fan page on Twitter (not affiliated with the singer) alleges that there will not only be a VIP ticket package for the shows in the United States, but it will grant the holder access like never seen before. In the screengrab of what appears to be a Ticketmaster checkout screen, the VIP package is titled “VIP Front Row ON Stage Experience Package.”

The picture goes on to share that this supposed package will be available for purchase starting on February 10 at 10 am local time. Included in the package, holders will be given front-row seats on the stage, a red-carpet photo opportunity, commemorative laminate, exclusive tour merch, a dedicated restroom, and more.

When Beyoncé brings her much-anticipated “Renaissance” world tour to MetLife Stadium this Saturday and Sunday, elite members of the Beyhive will be buzzing within stinging distance of their Queen B.

The hottest — and most expensive — tickets, which sold out immediately, are two VIP experiences named after “Pure/Honey,” the penultimate track on Bey’s Grammy-winning “Renaissance” album , which allow the superstar’s fans to watch the show from risers onstage.

In addition to a dedicated bar and restroom, a limited-edition tour gift and more, those willing to drop a whopping $5,000 — assuming they were even able to grab the tickets at face value — will find themselves in the front row of the risers, close enough to get in formation with Beyoncé herself.

Stage-side seating is just one of the next-level VIP perks being rolled out as the live music business bounces back with a post-pandemic bang.

Now that the days of social distancing are over, artists are all about giving fans A-list access, allowing concertgoers to get up close and personal with intimate experiences that include everything from doing pre-show shots of tequila with Katy Perry to hopping a tour bus to trek around Europe with the Backstreet Boys.

“People were just hungry … and then you open the floodgates,” said Eddie Meehan, CEO and founder of Please & Thank You, the fan-engagement company behind Backstreet Boys ’ European experience, as well as VIP offerings for everyone from Justin Timberlake to Mötley Crüe.

“People want to be part of the show. People want to be close to it.”

And while there is rampant fan demand, there is also pent-up desire from the artists to make connections— and cash.

“A lot of artists are trying to make up for the loss in the pandemic,” said Dave Brooks, senior director of live music and touring at Billboard. “You know, ‘What can we sell?’”

Which explains how you get a pop superstar such as Katy Perry boozing it up with fans as part of her “Firework” VIP Experience for her “Play” show at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, which begins its final run of dates this weekend. That top-tier package — which also includes a “brilliant” seat, an individual photo op with Perry and a selection of her favorite sushi and sake — costs a cool $1,999.

But that may seem like a bargain compared to the experience Meehan cooked up for Mötley Crüe fans on the group’s co-headlining stadium tour with Def Leppard last summer. In addition to all the usual VIP perks — including the OG meet-and-greet photo op — you got an autographed guitar from the band that sent the package topping out around $5,000.

And for something even more intimate and interactive, Meehan’s company organized a VIP package for New York indie pop trio AJR that included playing dodgeball with them.

For when a night to remember isn’t enough, some artists are bringing their fans with them on vacation. That’s exactly what will be going down when Lionel Richie’s Dancing on the Sand takes place at the renowned Atlantis resort in the Bahamas Nov. 30 to Dec. 3. Packages range from about $3,900 to about $6,500 for two people.

“We’re gonna build a stage on the beach, where Lionel is going to perform for about 2,000 to 3,000 people,” said Harvey Cohen, president of Vibee, a new arm of Live Nation specializing in music-oriented destination experiences.

“It’s very, very intimate,” he added of the event, which will also include Sheryl Crow and disco legends Nile Rodgers & Chic. “We’re going to be hosting a fireside chat, where it’s going to be a one-on-one conversation with Lionel talking about his storied career.”

That’s a lot of face time for the fans — the opposite of what they’ll get from leading concert divas Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, who don’t actually have direct contact with their VIP package holders.

Swift’s more basic offering on her epic Eras tour topped out at about $900, and Brooks doesn’t think that anything more expensive than the near-$5,000 price tag of Beyoncé’s priciest of five VIP experiences would be a good look for her.

“It looks like you’re just gouging people,” he said.

Beyoncé announced her next world tour on Super Bowl Sunday, and fans are already scrambling to snag seats at one of her 30 concerts. After the great Adele debacle of 2015, prospective buyers are wondering how to get cheaper tickets to Beyoncé's Formation Tour . There's a good chance that bargains will be hard to come by, but there are approaches you can take to evade scalpers and avoid ridiculously high resale prices.

If you're open to buying early, you may want to consider one of the presales starting online today. Beyoncé's fan club, the BeyHive, is hosting a members-only presale, ABC News reported this week. (You can sign up to become a member of Beyoncé's fan club on her website.) American Express is also hosting a presale exclusively for cardholders that opens today and runs through Feb. 14. It's unclear whether applying for an American Express card now can get you presale access, but you can submit your details online; The timeline for approval varies, but if you meet the criteria for Express Approval you may get a response within minutes. If it doesn't work out, you can cancel most American Express cards by calling the number on the back.

More than six months after releasing Renaissance , her first solo studio album in six years, Beyoncé finally announced the Renaissance World Tour , sharing the poster on Instagram and posting the tour dates on her website on Feb. 1. The stadium jaunt will kick off in May in Sweden, with dates currently confirmed across Europe and North America.

The Renaissance World Tour will mark Beyoncé’s first live shows in five years — aside from the extravagant private show she played in Dubai on Jan. 21 for the grand re-opening of the Atlantis resort, for which she was reportedly paid around $24 million . Naturally, demand has proven to be enormous, leading Bey to add more shows across the U.S. and Europe. She last co-headlined the On The Run II Tour with her husband Jay-Z in 2018. The singer was rumored to have planned a tour in 2020 to promote The Lion King: The Gift and its accompanying Black Is King film , but dates were inevitably scrapped due to lockdown. Her last solo outing was the Formation World Tour in 2016.

In October, the “CUFF IT” singer indicated — in a very low-key way — that she would embark on a 2023 world tour to promote her seventh studio album . At the inaugural Wearable Art Gala, the 28-time Grammy winner auctioned off a “UNIQUE opportunity,” referencing her fan-favorite track “ALIEN SUPERSTAR,” to see one of her upcoming shows. The listing confirms that the Renaissance tour will kick off in the summer of 2023, calling it “one of the most sought-after musical performances of all time” and assuring international fans that Bey will take the tour worldwide.

That VIP package included two concert tickets, first-class airfare to select cities, a three-night hotel stay, and to top it off, a guided backstage tour from Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson. According to Variety , the winning bidder paid between $45,000 and $50,000 for the honor of seeing Bey. Thankfully, this did not indicate the price range for normal Renaissance tour tickets.

The Renaissance World Tour will kick off on May 10 in Sweden and take Beyoncé to 14 cities across the UK and Europe before heading to the U.S. and Canada. The North American leg will start on July 8 in Toronto and conclude nearly three months later in New Orleans. Demand for tickets ended up being so big that Beyoncé added multiple dates across both continents. On Feb. 2, she announced second shows in several U.S. cities , and added multiple dates across the UK and Europe on Feb. 7, including a total of five shows in London alone.

How To Buy Renaissance Tour Tickets

Like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour , fans will need to register with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program to buy tickets to the Renaissance World Tour. BeyHive subscribers can register for their own Verified Fan presale, which comes first, while Citi cardmembers will also have a separate presale before the general Verified Fan onsale. The shows have been divided into Groups A, B, and C, which all have different registration periods and presale dates. Therefore, not all shows will go on sale at once, decreasing the chances of the traffic jams that happened for Swift’s Eras Tour .

That said, huge traffic and long virtual queues are still expected, as Ticketmaster announced the day after the tour announcement that the number of Verified Fan registrations exceeded the number of tickets available by nearly 800%. For cities in Group A, the BeyHive presale will begin on Feb. 6, with the Citi presale happening the next day and the general Verified Fan onsale being held on Feb. 11. The presales for Group B will be held the following week, and tickets for Group C shows will go on sale the week after. Originally, fans had until Feb. 2 to register for Group A shows, Feb. 9 for Group B, and Feb. 16 for Group C. But due to the demand, Ticketmaster ended up cutting off registration for all shows on Feb. 5.

On Sunday, Beyoncé announced that she’s hitting the road for a new world tour, which will kick off on April 27 in Miami. The tour is named after the Grammy-winning artist's recently dropped single “Formation” — a song she performed during the 2016 Super Bowl halftime show .

So, how do fans snag a ticket to the most coveted concert of the year? Well, they have a few options — but their best bet is by purchasing a presale ticket. Here’s how:

1. The Beyhivé

Are you a member of the Beyhivé? Then you get first dibs on presale tickets, which will become available to the fan club on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Signing up for a fan account is simple. While the site crashed Monday due to the severity of traffic, it appeared to be up and running Tuesday morning. If you're not a Beyhivé member, you can check out option No. 2 below!

2. Ticketmaster VIP

Super fans should flock to Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. EST on Tuesday to score a VIPnation ticket during the company’s presale event. VIP packages, which are not currently priced, range from a Beyhivé Pacakge — which includes a one standing ticket inside the Beyhivé, designated check-in with on-site event staff, exclusive merchandise, and a collectible laminate and lanyard — to a BeyParty Package — which includes a seated ticket in top-priced seat category, designated check-in with on-site staff, access to the fully decorated, catered pre-show reception, exclusive merchandise and collectable laminate and lanyard.

ABC also advised that in addition to trying to land tickets through the website, “Formation” fans should call the ticketing company directly. During the Adele presale , many fans grew frustrated when they were unable to purchase tickets online. However, some admirers of the British singer found success when they dialed the ticket sale company directly to order over the phone.

3. American Express Card Members

Amex card members are also receiving early access to tickets, which according to the official UK Twitter account of American Express, will begin after Ticketmaster’s presale at 12 p.m. on Tuesday.

4. LiveNation

On Friday, Feb. 12, LiveNation will offer presale tickets for the 2016 "Formation" World Tour. In addition to purchasing a ticket through the general website, fans can also attempt to attend the show through the LiveNation Mobile App.

Fans who do not purchase presale tickets will have to wait until Tuesday, Feb. 16. That's when general admission tickets in addition to public VIP packages will go on sale at 10 a.m. EST. Tickets for the event can range from $40 to $350 depending on the arena or stadium and fees.

Shakira's 2024 world tour is coming to Phoenix. Here's ticket and presale info

Shakira is bringing her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024.

Promoted by Live Nation, the tour’s first leg features 14 arena shows across North America kicking off Nov. 2 in Palm Desert, California, with stops in Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, Brooklyn, Chicago and more.

Known for her high-energy performances, Shakira will perform tracks from her new album and her catalog of hits.  

Shakira hinted at the tour while appearing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" last month.

Shakira teases 2024 tour at Coachella with Bizarrap

On Friday, she surprised fans at Coachella when she appeared during Bizarrap’s set to perform their global smash hit “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and “La Fuerte,” both featured on her new album. Before exiting the stage, Shakira teased the tour news to a roaring crowd .

Coachella marks the second time in the last month that Shakira has surprised fans with a showstopping performance.

Last month, following the album release, Shakira shut down New York City’s Times Square, giving a crowd of more than 40,000 fans a peek into the energy of her live shows when she performed at the TSX Stage.

The performance included such iconic hits as “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Te Felicito/TQG” and “Session 53,” as well as “Puntería” and “Cómo Dónde y Cuándo” from her new album.

Shakira tour 2024 is in support of 'Las Mujeres Ya No Llora' album

The tour is in support of Shakira's new album, "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran," which within 24 hours of its release became the most streamed album of the year with more than 10 billion streams, and was certified seven times platinum.

The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Album and Latin Pop Album charts, while “Puntería” with Cardi B holds the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard Latin Airplay and Latin Pop Airplay charts.

Shakira last played Phoenix in 2018 on the El Dorado World Tour

Shakira last played Phoenix in 2018, when the El Dorado World Tour played that same venue , which was still called Talking Stick Resort Arena at the time.

Since then, she's performed one of the more iconic Super Bowl halftime shows in history with Jennifer Lopez.

ATEEZ’s 2024 World Tour Ticket Prices Shock Fans

After successfully making history as the first K-Pop boy group to perform at the Coachella music festival, ATEEZ announced their highly anticipated 2024 ATEEZ WORLD TOUR [TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER] IN NORTH AMERICA, which will kick off on July 14 in Tacoma, WA.

ATINYs have discovered one trusted source through Gas South District ‘s website, as ATEEZ’s Atlanta date is on July 31 at Gas South Arena in Duluth, GA. If you click on the seating chart, you’ll see the arrangement as well as ticket prices for each section.

The prices range from $105.07 to $738.70 USD, without fees. The highest-priced ticket is for VIP 1. ATINYs were left shocked by the ticket prices and concerned about how much their total would be.

ATINYs joked about the potential VIP benefits one must receive to warrant such an expensive price. Some proposed it should include personal one-on-one interactions with an ATEEZ member.

According to Gas South, VIP1 includes VIP Check-in and entry, first early access to the GA floor, sound check, send-off, limited edition gift, VIP laminate and lanyard, and early access to merchandise, while VIP2 includes nearly everything but send-off and early access to merchandise. The tickets include no Meet & Greet.

Naturally, ATINYs are disappointed by the news. The tickets have only increased in price since previous tours. Yet, now the VIP tickets have even fewer benefits.

ATINYs are reminiscing over ATEEZ North American tours of the past. VIP tickets were over half the cost of this year’s. Some paid just over $100 USD for VIP, including interactions with members, which is now the price of the cheapest, most basic concert ticket.

ATINYs also can’t help but compare the North American ticket prices to ATEEZ’s for other locations, such as South Korea. Yet, knowing how much it costs to travel besides the increase in Visa fees , it shouldn’t be a surprise that the North American tour costs as much as it does.
