Sound quality.

The sound quality was horrible for the concert. I don't know if it was where we were sitting upper level to the side or just the Acoustics of the Matthew Knight arena. Kind of leery of going to another concert at that venue.

A wonderful time

Had a hard time finding out seats the guy wasn't very helpful but we finally go to our seats and I could barely see because I forgot my glasses, then a older gentleman comes up and hands us two tickets closer to the floor, it made my whole experience way better getting seats that were closer.

It was a great time! All 12 of us loved the show! Some of us were seeing him for a 2nd time.

Pardi with Midland🎸

I've seen Jon Pardi and I've seen Midland and seeing them together!!!! FANTASTIC! These guys played hard-band members included. I think they were having just as much fun as we were dancing and singing. I love watching band members have solos on stage and my daughter was handed Midland's setlist...Definitely would do it again.

Metal detectors?

I was shocked at how many people were able to bring in vaping pens and liquor. Even more surprising was the lack of monitoring. Makes me wonder what else people might sneak in?

It was the best concert I ever been to. Matthew Knight Arena was the perfect place to have it. If Jon Pardi was to have another concert I would definitely want to go!

Great concert

I enjoyed Will Jones as the first opener. Midland was up next. They did good but it was difficult to understand them at times. I loved Jon Pardi and his energy!! The venue was good but would be more helpful to have ushers at the stairs to assist with seating questions.

Sound was terrible.

We could hardly understand Midland. Jon Pardi was not much better. He was great and the concert was fun but the venue needs some serious work on the sound quality.

First Matthew Night Arena is a great venue. Pardi put on a great show, will go again next time he is in the area!

Jon Pardi (born May 20, 1985) is an American country singer-songwriter and guitarist who made his national debut in 2012 with the single “Missin’ You Crazy”, hailing from Dixon, California, U.S.

Born and raised in Dixon, California, Jon Pardi was introduced to country music while still in nappies; endeared to the music of George Jones and Hank Williams Jr. Making use of his grandmother’s country karaoke machine, the young singer made his debut at the age of seven at his father’s 30th birthday party with the single “Friends in Low Places”. By the age of 12 Pardi was writing his own songs with musical accompaniment, and subsequently joined his first band aged 14. After graduating from high school Jon, alongside friend Chase McGrew, Pardi formed a country music duo who played the regional club circuit, before enrolling in Butte Junior College and performing with the group Northern Comfort.

With the unshakeable dream of finding success in the country music capital, Pardi moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2008 and worked as a life guard. It wasn’t long before the musician’s name was generating attention, notably for his songwriting, and by 2010 inked his first publishing deal. The deal enabled Pardi to work with a host of successful artists, promote his name further, and ultimately led the musician to sign with Capitol Records Nashville in 2011.

Featuring friend and producer Bart Butler at the production reigns, the singer begun work on his debut album, the first single of which “Missin’ You Crazy” arrived in March 2012. Marking his debut on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, it was his second, Top 10 single “Up All Night” which exposed Pardi to a large country music audience. In January 2014 the singer-songwriter issued his debut full-length album “Write You a Song”. Peaking at No. 3 on the U.S. Country Album Chart and No. 14 on the Billboard 200, the record proved a critically acclaimed, cohesive country album, and spawned the subsequent singles “What I Can’t Put Down” and “When I’ve Been Drinking”.

As a huge fan of country music, hearing Jon Pardi at Austin City Limits Festival, Texas, in 2011 was a unique and absolutely thrilling experience. This guy has all the suave and cowboy charisma of a rural, grassroots musician, with the class and talent of a modern day performer. Jon's career is relatively still in its early stages, but he's really bringing his A game to each and every performance, and with a festival as huge as ACL, he's made an amazing start.

Watching Jon on stage was a hugely powerful experience. He's relaxed, he's confident, and he knows exactly how to get a crowd riled up and in the mood. The country singer has a really suave approach to his audience, and he kept giving us that sly smile of his - it really had the effect of feeling like he was singing for the crowd, rather than just at us. After he sang 'When I've Been Drinking', the crowd started swaying and dancing along to the beat, obviously won over by this charming young Californian.

Jon Pardi has all the attributes a country singer needs to survive. He has talent, a passion for guitar and rhythmic vocals, and evocative lyrics that usually end in the crowd singing along with him. Watching him on stage was a hugely pleasant experience, and I can tell this kid is going places.

Really good show, energetic and made a good connection with the Sunday night crowd. Certainly a must see if you like the Neotraditional country sound. I will definitely go again.

Good artist, bad sound system

I went to the MidLand/Jon Pardi concert on February 15,2024 and while the artists were great, showed high energy and sang great songs....the sound system was awful. I have been to lots of country concerts over the years and never heard the sound system this bad before, there was too much bass to the point you couldn't hear the lyrics the artists were singing, thank god I knew the songs so well that I knew what they were saying. The venue is great and comfortable and the staff was wonderful, just maybe check the sound next time.

What a wonderful show, my kids first concert and even had Jon take my youngest phone on video. Unforgettable!!

Great concert!

Concert was great! He put on an amazing show. The openers were well worth watching as well.

Concert and venue were exceptional. I think there should be designated seating for those that want to drink or have no alcohol allowed in seats. People in our row were constantly getting up (every 15-20 min) to go to the beer gardens. People behind us sloshed beer on us.

Country music

It was a great show but wish Jon pardi second opener was Whiskey Blind Instead of Midland I didn't even know who they were I was talking to a few others none of them didn't even know who Midland was again I wish Jon pardi second opener was Whiskey Blind they wouldn't have been so much better In my opinion

THEY COVERED IT ALL

It was everything I hoped it would be and More The bad Midland added to the start of the concert, so many great songs! The energy they portrayed was contagious Joh Pardi himself was amazing, I just loved it, so many sing along songs The original concert was cancelled from 2023 and rescheduled to Feb 2024 A long time to anticipate seeing an artist and I was sooo looking forward to it, it crossed my mind well maybe I might be expecting too much, well it was great and then some, he filled the bill. Thanks for a great night!

A honkytonk arena show!

Jon Pardi exceeded my expectations by a country mile! From beginning to end he and his talented band put on a highly professional show, musically and visually. Jon's stage presence and performance truly made an arena feel as intimate as a Nashville honkytonk. High energy from beginning to end with just enough patter to engage the audience. Excellent sound quality and choice of material. I now have a few new favourites because of the stage performance presentation. Jon has numerous quality "hits"and was generous in treating the audience to what they hoped to hear, as well as several lesser known but equally great songs. I was a fan before, but am now even more so. I would definitely see him again. My admiration for his professional work ethic and professionalism has grown considerably. He is a genuine star and deserves his well earned recognition.

Good music by John Pardi, annoying experience

The sound system needs to be either upgraded or fixed. The bass was off and penetrating into my body in a very annoying way. If it was accurate sounding it would have been much better. The rest of the sound system was ok, but not great. Somebody should let the performers know that flashing bright lights directly into the crowd actually hurts the eyes and is very annoying. lastly, to all the people who like to stand and watch the show and / or dance, you are blocking the entire show to the people directly behind you. Even when I stood up ( I am 5 foot nine) I could not see the stage clearly. My shorter wife had no chance at all. We missed about two thirds of the live performance on stage. This should not be allowed and definitely makes it far less likely to attend concerts here if this is not addressed. Very annoying and disapointing!!!

Jon Pardi Announces Headlining Summer 2022 Tour Dates

Jon Pardi will bring his high-energy, high-volume live show to amphitheaters this summer. The country singer announced dates for his headlining Ain’t Always the Cowboy Tour on Friday, with shows set to begin July 14 in Irving, Texas.

Named for a single from Pardi’s album Heartache Medication , the trek will run 25 dates and conclude with an Oct. 1 performance at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater. Along the way, he’s set to make stops on both coasts and several points between, including Santa Barbara in his home state of California, Milwaukee, New York City, and Boston. Lainey Wilson and Hailey Whitters will be opening through this stretch of dates, save for the final three shows when Whitters doesn’t appear on the bill. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 4, at 10 am local time.

Heartache Medication , which came out in September 2019, expertly blended classic country sounds with youthful rock & roll energy, peppering in flashes of heavy metal even as it refused to skimp on fiddle and pedal steel. Pardi recently released “Last Night Lonely” as his first preview of an upcoming studio album, and it’s a fiddle-laced rocker that doubles as a sexy pick-up line. “We could be some history in the makin’ girl, tonight/Might be your last night lonely,” he sings.

Named after his latest critically-acclaimed album, Mr. Saturday Night , the tour kicks off in Belfast on Aug. 25 followed by multiple dates across the U.K. plus stops in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Oslo, and Stockholm. Pardi then returns for the North American leg of the Mr. Saturday Night World Tour, and rolls through Knoxville, Savannah, St. Louis, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and more including dates in Ontario and B.C. with a stop at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario on November 16.
