'Legendz of the Streetz' tour date in Memphis pushed to 2022

The “Legendz of the Streetz” tour has rescheduled its upcoming Memphis date for early 2022.

The rap/hip-hop package — featuring headliners Rick Ross, Jeezy, Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz, among others — was set to stop at FedExForum on Oct. 22. The show has now been pushed back to Feb. 6.

No specific reason for the change was given. But in a statement announcing the change, concert promoters We Are Live Entertainment noted that, “The ‘Legendz of the Streetz’ Tour will be one of the most iconic tours of all time, and to ensure that the show is bigger and better for the state of Tennessee, we are rescheduling our Memphis date. We can’t wait to see you there.”

According to FedExForum, previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date. Fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets. Those unable to attend the rescheduled date should contact their point of purchase by Jan. 6 for more information.

The show will go on.

After being postponed in the wake of the pandemic, the “Legendz of the Streetz Tour” will resume this fall. Formerly titled “Feed the Streetz,” the nationwide tour includes a powerhouse lineup co-headlined by Rick Ross, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, and 2 Chainz, along with Fabolous and Boosie Badazz. Lil’ Kim and Trina will also perform on select dates, with DJ Drama serving as the official tour DJ for most stops.

The 11-date trek kicks off Sept. 30 in Augusta, Ga. and wraps Oct. 22 in Memphis, Tenn. The rescheduled dates also include stops in Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Miami, and Tampa.

The original tour was slated to launch in April 2020 and also included T.I. and Yo Gotti.

Tickets are on sale now, with additional dates to be announced.

‘Legendz of the Streetz’ tour reschedules Memphis show date

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The “Legendz of the Streetz” tour is rescheduling its date to take the stage at the FedExForum.

The tour, featuring artists like Rick Ross, Gucci Mane and Jeezy, was originally set to come to the Bluff City on October 22 but now fans will have to wait until February 2, 2022.

A promoter connected to the tour says it wants to “ensure that the show is bigger and better for the state of Tennessee.”

Anyone who has already purchased tickets can use them on the rescheduled date, so be sure to hold on to them. Anyone who will not be able to attend on the rescheduled date should contact the vendor you purchased from no later than January 6, 2022.

The FedExForum Box Office is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Atlanta rap legends t.i., jeezy, 2 chainz and gucci mane set to grace the stage for the legendz of the streetz reloaded tour at state farm arena.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Legendz of the Streetz Reloaded tour is set to make a stop at State Farm Arena on Sunday evening with hip-hop heavyweights including several of Georgia’s own rap legends.

Atlanta rappers T.I., Young Jeezy, 2 Chainz, and Gucci Mane are the legends set to kick the tour back into high gear at 7 p.m. The tour also features Miami hip-hop legends Trina and Rick Ross, New York rap legends Cam’ron, and Jadakiss in addition to several other rappers.

“It is with great pleasure that we get to continue presenting such an epic tour for fans with this year’s launching of the Legendz of The Streetz Tour, paying homage to an amazing group of artists!” We Are Live Entertainment cofounders Linell Rowe and Jerry Schools previously told Atlanta News First. “This is an opportunity for hip-hop fans across the country to experience something monumental and is sure to be another epic run.”

DJ Drama, arguably one of, if not the biggest DJ around the world, saw T.I. grow into one of the most influential rappers of all time.

“I met a very young TIP who was just getting into the music business,” DJ Drama recently told Atlanta News First. “The first time we met, he did a freestyle for me and said he was the “King of the South.” And for a young kid, fresh in the game to have that much confidence to say that really blew me away.”

Best known as “King of the South,” the multi-platinum and Grammy award-winning T.I. released 12 albums on Billboard including multiple No. 1 albums. He released his last album titled “The Libra: The Legend Is Back Running Atlanta” in 2020. He is best known for his many ground-breaking hits “24′s”, “Bring Em Out,” “You Don’t Know Me,” “What You Know,” “Big Things Poppin,” “Swagga Like Us, “Top Back,” “About The Money,” “Family Connect,” “Mediocre” and more.

In November, T.I. sat down for an exclusive interview with Atlanta News First at Trap City Cafe where he detailed opening the restaurant with Mike Upscale.

Jeezy is known as one of the best and most influential rappers, entrepreneurs, and innovators in hip-hop. “To this day, Jeezy goes out in front of a crowd of 20,000 and performs records that he put out in 2005 and will have entire stadiums sing word for word,” DJ Drama said. “Because it was more than just music to them, it was a movement.”

He has released several hit albums and countless classic mixtapes, sold more than 5 million worldwide, and positively changed the way the music industry promotes and markets music. Jeezy has countless ground-breaking hits including “Dem Boyz”, “And Then What”, “Go Crazy”, “Put On”, “I Got Money”, “Lose My Mind”, “Love in this Club”, “Seen it All”, “We In This”, “Standing Ovation”, “Grew Up a Screw Up with Ludacris, and more.

Gucci Mane is best known for hits such as “Yellow”, “Freaky Girl”, “So Icy”, “Break Up”, and “I Get The Bag” and countless mixtape hits.

Cam’ron, a member of the legendary Harlem rap group Dipset, is known for “You Gotta Love It,” “Oh Boy”, “Down and Out”, “Dipset Anthem”, and “Crunk Muzik.”

2 Chainz first burst on the music scene in the early 2000′s with fellow Atlanta rap legend Ludacris and his group DTP before venturing out as a solo artist. He is best known for many ground-breaking hits such as “When We Were Kids” with Ludacris and DTP, “Duffle Bag Boy” with Dolla Boi of Playaz Circle, “Birthday Song” with Kanye West, “No Lie” featuring Drake, “Bands A Make Her Dance” with Lil Wayne and Juicy J, “RIP” with Jeezy, “Bounce” with Lil Wayne, “Fork” and more. He is currently working on new music including the follow-up to his 2016 hit collaboration album with Lil Wayne called “Collegrove.”

Trina, also called “The Diamond Princess” is known as one of the most influential female rappers in hip-hop. She is known for hits, “B R Right” with Ludacris, “Don’t Trip” with Lil Wayne, “Here We Go” with Kelly Rowland”, and “Look Back at Me.”

Rick Ross has evolved from a Miami rap legend into a successful businessman, mogul, and innovator over the last nearly 20 years.

He is best known for hits such as “Hustlin”, “We Taking Over”, “I’m On One”, “Aston Martin Music”, “Made Men” with Drake, “Stay Schemin”, “Lemon Pepper” with Drake, “Run It”, and more.

Jadakiss is known as a fierce Yonkers-born lyricist and cultural icon. He is best known for hits such as “Why?”, “Letter to B.I.G”, “Money, Power and Respect”, “Made You Look Remix” with Nas and Ludacris, “The Champ is Here” and more.

 We Are Live Entertainment is excited to announce the return of the  “Legendz of the Streetz Tour Reloaded” , set to kick off on Friday, February 3, 2023, in New Orleans, LA. Now in its third installment, the  “Legendz of the Streetz Tour Reloaded”  returns with fan favorites Jeezy, Rick Ross, T.I., Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, and Trina. In addition, Jadakiss, Cam’ron, and Ja-Rule have all been added to the bill, with special guest Jucee Froot (from the hit show P-Valley) on select dates. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date and fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets. No, tickets must be scanned through the AXS App.

Can I have multiple tickets on one phone?

Yes. However, we recommend that you transfer tickets to each person attending the event.

Please bring a valid photo ID and the card you used to purchase the tickets to the Toyota Center box office.

How far in advance can I access my tickets?

Unless otherwise noted, tickets are accessible on the AXS app and ready to manage as soon as the purchase is complete. Ability to transfer and/or sell tickets varies by show and is subject to change.

Aerosmith announces new dates for 2024 farewell tour 'Peace Out,' headed to Nashville

Aerosmith has announced the rescheduled 2024 dates for their farewell 'Peace Out Tour.' The tour, which was originally set to come to Nashville in January 2024, was postponed due to singer Steven Tyler's vocal cord damage.

The band will now hit the stage at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Sunday, Oct. 20.

Rock legends Aerosmith—comprised of Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford—are known for hits "Dream On," "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" and "Walk This Way."

The band has released 15 studio albums, with their most recent released in 2012, "Music From Another Dimension!"

Aerosmith has announced that The Black Crowes, comprised of brothers Chris and Rich Robinson , will accompany them on tour. The Black Crowes released their first album in 15 years, "Happiness Bastards," on March 14.

Why did Aerosmith postpone their final tour?

Aerosmith first announced that they would be embarking on their final tour via video in May 2023. The tour began on Sept. 3 in Philadelphia.

The band, though, was forced to cancel remaining tour dates after frontman Steven Tyler suffered an injury at their performance on Sept. 9 in at the UBS Arena in New York.

Tyler suffered a vocal injury that included a fractured larynx and vocal cord damage.

In a Sept. 29 statement on Facebook , the band promised to honor tickets for new dates. “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world,” Tyler said.

“I promise we will be back as soon as we can!”

Now, the rescheduled farewell tour will start back up on Sept. 20 in Pennsylvania, celebrating Aerosmith's hits from over 50 years together as a band.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows. Ticket-holders will receive more information via email.

Tickets for the newly announced shows, both rescheduled and added performances, will go on sale on Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. CST at  ticketmaster.com .

Aerosmith announces rescheduled date for farewell tour in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — Classic rockers Aerosmith have announced their return to the road after the band was forced to postpone their “Peace Out” farewell tour last year after singer Steven Tyler fractured his larynx.

The rock legends will perform at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on Oct. 2 (the show was originally scheduled for Oct. 17, 2023).

R ock n’ Roll legends Aerosmith have announced their 2024 return to the road, celebrating five decades of groundbreaking hits on their PEACE OUT farewell tour featuring special guests The Black Crowes .

Following a quick hiccup in their plans due to lead singer Steven Tyler ‘s vocal cord injury at the end of last year, Aerosmith has announced the return of their farewell PEACE OUT tour, with special guests The Black Crowes joining them on all dates except for a one-night-only performance from Teddy Swims at the tour kickoff in Pittsburgh, PA on September 20.

The updated 2024 run promises fans an electrifying show of Aerosmith’s hits performed in an immersive 360° production as they celebrate 50 years as America’s greatest rock band.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows --- updated information will arrive via email. Tickets for the rescheduled dates and newly added shows will go on sale Friday, April 12 at 10AM local time. Take a look at the updated tour itinerary below.

• Aerosmith Drop Rescheduled Peace Out Tour Dates with Special Guests Black Crowes, Add Three New Concerts

Rock-and-roll legends Aerosmith have relaunched their Peace Out Tour after previously postponing the run stemming from frontman Steven Tyler’s vocal cord injury. The band returned today with an updated list of dates. The tour is slated to feature special guest Black Crowes, fresh off the release of their first collection in 15 years, Happiness Bastards . The run will now pick up on Friday, Sept. 2, in Pittsburgh, with a one-night-only performance from one-off accompaniment Teddy Swims.

During the forthcoming 40-stop run, the esteemed act will draw on its rich five-decade history, reviving classic material from its expansive discography, ranging from its self-titled 1973 debut to 2012’s Music from Another Dimension! HX Certified Live! will enhance the live music experience by equipping each arena appearance with high-fidelity and leading-edge technology.

As noted, the makeup dates follow the band’s previous postponement, meaning the locations remain the same. However, given heightened interest, a trio of new concerts has been added to the band’s schedule, including their aforementioned Pittsburgh opener and follow-up on Monday, Sept. 23, in Philadelphia. The group’s third and final newly added show comes late into their touring lineup, landing on Feb. 11, 2025, at the Kia Center in Orlando, Fla.

DETROIT - We weren’t sure this would ever happen, but it appears to now be a reality. After canceling their final concert scheduled in Michigan with no signs of rescheduling it, Aerosmith has just announced they will bring their “Peace Out” farewell tour to Detroit.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will be at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday, January 4, 2025. The concert had originally been scheduled for September 18, 2023 before being postponed after lead singer Steven Tyler suffered vocal cord damage. It had been rescheduled for this past January, but was again cancelled.

Tickets for the re-rescheduled concert go on sale on Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled show. Ticketholders will receive more information via email.

The postponed tour restarts on September 20th in Pittsburgh and wraps up on February 26 in Buffalo. The Black Crowes will open for Aerosmith.
