Rising London band Palace has announced its biggest North American headlining tour to date, with 18 shows in 1,000+ capacity rooms across the US and Canada, including nights at Brooklyn Steel, DC’s 9:30 Club, The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and over a dozen more. The announce follows show-stopping festival performances at Life Is Beautiful , Portola, Format, and more.

Alongside the tour announce, the band shared “All We’ve Ever Wanted,” their first new music since the acclaimed 2022 album Shoals .“‘All We’ve Ever Wanted’ is about dreams and desires,” explains singer Leo Wyndham about the track that straddles the anthemic, lighters-aloft sentiment of Britpop’s finest and an artfully applied sheen of shoegaze noise.

“It’s about wondering if things ever can come to pass exactly as we’ve pictured them in our mind’s eye, and confronting the reality that things often don’t move in a predictable straight line. In the end, new growth seems to occur from the soil of the unexpected.” The track is taken from a new EP due for release this spring.

Lo-Fi Musicians: Tape Heroes Of The 80s And 90s

2022’s Shoals is a profound and pensive album, boldly exploring some of life’s greatest questions over its 12 mesmerising tracks. The album deftly explores the interplay of three central existential dilemmas against a broader backdrop of wonder at the vastness and power of the ocean, concluding its arc with the stunning opus “Where Sky Becomes Sea.” Through diving into themes of the subconscious, dreams and existentialism, Shoals is broadly a record about living with and processing fear.

Palace unifies indie rock and blues rock into a single genre that envelopes you like a London fog. Formed in 2012 in the UK by Leo Wyndham, Rupert Turner, Will Dorey, and Matt Hodges, the buzz began after their first gig. "A part of us thought we might be the s***tiest band in the world," Wyndham revealed to DIY Magazine . "The moment we started playing, we could see it in people's faces. They liked it."

Lost in the Night , the band's 2014 debut EP, set Palace's cinematic tone in stone. Drenched in reverb, Wyndham's vocals recall Jeff Buckley. He admits that he's "obsessed" with the late singer, who opened his eyes -- and ears -- to performing with all his emotional vulnerabilities on display. He also counts Kurt Cobain and underground singer/songwriter Daniel Johnston as influences.

The 2015 follow-up, Chase the Light , landed Palace more radio play on the BBC. The subsequent full-length albums, So Long Forever and Life After , were somber affairs. Palace recorded Shoals during the pandemic, which brought the band -- now a three-piece -- even closer together. It also forced Wyndham to confront his own struggles with mental health. "My brain was like a conveyor belt of negative thoughts and a feeling of purposelessness," he told NME . "When music was taken away, I started to wonder what the f**k my purpose was." His physical health was deteriorating as well -- Wyndham caught COVID-19 while making the album and suffered from inflamed lungs for nine months. Ultimately, the isolation added a new depth to Palace's music, and it's one they can't wait to share with fans. The band has announced plans to tour in the U.S. in late 2022.

Incredible energy

Fantastic live performance. The band exceeded my expectations! The staff and service at this venue is awesome. So excited to return for another concert.

Palace is amazing live. This was my second time seeing them, and their performances feel like a spiritual event with how their lyrics speak to the emotions we all grapple with. The Fox was a great venue to see them in.

Leo Wyndham’s voice is so pure

The Fix is always my favorite place to listen to live music. It is gorgeous and amazing sound system. Palace was absolutely AMAZING! Wyndham’s voice is powerful, pure, controlled but full of emotions! These men are way up there, true artists, geniuses.

The absolute best concert I have ever been to in my whole life. Stage performance was there, energy was there and the music was heard from all the way in the back near lodge. 15/10

One of the best

Palace has been a favorite for some time. This was my first time seeing them live after being unable to go last year. But they didn’t disappoint. If anything, it made me more bummed I couldn’t see them in 2022. From vocals, to lyrics and everything in between, they are definitely a band worth seeing.

Not as good as Detroit a year ago

Felt like they rushed through their set. 0 interaction with the crowd. In Detroit a year ago they played for almost 2 hours. At this show they played for barely an hour. Would think Chicago/House of Blues would be a marquee show for them but it was anything but that. Still love the band and their music, just didn't sit right driving 3 hours to see THAT performance

Fantastic artist but the venue is important

I saw Palace at Massey Hall in Toronto (which is basically an theatre) and it was the most angelic performance I’ve ever heard. Incredible voice, music, performance, everything. I loved the show so much I decided to see Palace again at Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit and it really did not do them justice. I was honestly a little disappointed but not by the band, but by the sound quality there (not the bands fault). Saint Andrews Hall is not a good place to see concerts. Palace is great though!!!

Exceeded Any Expectations!!

Palace played an INCREDIBLE set in Detroit. It was everything!! I was truly blown away with their ability to captivate the room. Such a beautiful and euphoric stage presence. To top it off, the sound quality was perfection. 11/10!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely Magical. The Atmosphere Was Ethereal.

I traveled from NY to Toronto to see Palace… and I knew it was going to be worth it. It be process for scanning tickets and getting in was so very smooth so 10/10 experience on that. The show itself was just… no words. I was second row GA and the view was incredible. Not too loud but perfect. Near the end of the show this doll of a girl pulled me to the front to see the show from her eyes. Cant wait to see them again

absolutely loved this concert, such a magical time 🥹

With Wolves and West Ham also playing one another earlier in the week, the inaugural Stateside Cup trophy will then be awarded to the best-performing team across the three fixtures.

Palace’s recent Premier League meetings with Wolves and West Ham have produced plenty of goals and entertainment – the Eagles defeated both teams at Selhurst Park earlier this season, 3-2 and 5-2 respectively.

Chairman Steve Parish said: "After such a brilliant tour last year, we are delighted to be returning to the United States once again this summer.

“As a club, we are always hugely appreciative of the support that we receive over in the US, and we hope our growing fanbase will enjoy the chance to join us in Annapolis and Tampa for two exciting matches against Premier League opposition.

“I know our US-based supporters will give Oliver and his team a warm welcome as they step up preparations for the 2024/25 season.”

Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Maryland

Palace have developed a special relationship with their American fanbase and this continues to grow with the popularity of the game, with the United States due to co-host the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals alongside Canada and Mexico.

On top of six previous pre-season tours Stateside, Palace have attended the last two Premier League Mornings Live! Events in Nashville, Tennessee, and Orlando, Florida, where the club was represented by the American Eagle Foundation’s 34-year old American Bald Eagle ‘Challenger’.

US Men’s National Team player Chris Richards recently scored his first goal for the club, after moving to south London in the summer of 2022, following in the footsteps of Gregg Berhalter, who became the first Palace player to feature at a World Cup finals when he represented the USA in South Korea and Japan in 2002.

Plus, American hit TV show Ted Lasso was filmed at Selhurst Park, which has been seen in televisions across the country as the home ground of the fictional side AFC Richmond.
