About + live +.

+LIVE+ have sold over 22 million albums worldwide and earned two number one albums: Throwing Copper and Secret Samadhi. Their catalog is filled with such gems as “Lightning Crashes,” “I Alone,” “All Over You” and “Lakini’s Juice,” which live on today as classics on rock radio. Throwing Copper—which the band celebrated in 2019 with a new deluxe 25th anniversary edition via Radioactive/Geffen/Ume along with a global tour across major festivals, amphitheaters and arenas--produced the band’s biggest single, “Lightning Crashes,” which was #1 at Modern Rock radio for ten consecutive weeks. Throwing Copper reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually surpassed sales of 10 million albums sold, with Rolling Stone honoring the album with placement on their list, “1994: The 40 Best Records From Mainstream Alternative's Greatest Year.” Secret Samadhi (1997) immediately shot to #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and eventually went double platinum. The release of the platinum-selling The Distance to Here (1999) turned +LIVE+ into an international powerhouse and moved the band from arenas into stadiums. +LIVE+ has been and remains today a global concert juggernaut. The band released an acclaimed five-song EP in 2018, LOCAL 717, their first new music in over a decade.

The Who Announce 2022 North American Tour

the who live tour dates

Legendary rock band The Who have announced a brand new tour for 2022, THE WHO HITS BACK! The iconic band’s upcoming North American trek promises to be another rock n’ roll knockout, bringing singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend back to U.S. venues two years after their acclaimed MOVING ON! Tour, which wowed audiences with a series of sold-out dates. THE WHO HITS BACK! Tour (see complete list of dates below)will again share the stage with some of the finest orchestras in the U.S. and Canada. Produced by Live Nation, the kick-off date is April 22 in Hollywood, FL at the Hard Rock Live for the spring leg of the tour and returns in the fall on October 2 in Toronto, ON at Scotiabank Arena.

THE WHO HITS BACK! Tour will feature THE WHO’s full live band comprised of guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, second keyboardist Emily Marshall, bassist Jon Button, drummer Zak Starkey and backing vocals by Billy Nicholls along with orchestra conductor Keith Levenson, lead violinist Katie Jacoby and lead cellist Audrey Snyder, passionately delivering THE WHO’s many classics, as well as songs from their most recent album, titled WHO.Commenting on The Who Hits Back! Tour, Roger Daltrey says, “Pete and I said we’d be back, but we didn’t think we’d have to wait for two years for the privilege. This is making the chance to perform feel even more special this time around. So many livelihoods have been impacted due to Covid, so we are thrilled to get everyone back together – the band, the crew and the fans. We’re gearing up for a great show that hits bck in the only way The Who know how. By giving it everything we got.”

The Who’s wildly successful 2019 MOVING ON! Tour brought the band’s iconic brand of incomparable rock through 29 cities, including a rollicking sold-out show in Boston’s historic Fenway Park, and a memorable Seattle show where Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder joined them onstage for a rousing version of “The Punk And the Godfather.” The tour generated the most unanimous outpouring of acclaim from critics and fans of any live rock show in 2019, winning raves across North America for the orchestral dynamic as well as the duo’s cathartic rock firepower and intimate acoustic numbers. “They’re not getting older. They’re getting better. You better, you better, you bet.” hailed the Worcester Telegram, with Pollstar Magazine affirming “Daltrey is in peak form, and so is Townshend, lavishing his trademarked windmill guitar motion.”

The Who are one of the top three greatest rock legacies in music history. Their music provoked explosive change and spanned what many critics declare is rock’s most elastic creative spectrum, with Pete Townshend’s songwriting moving between raw, prosaic, conceptual, and expressively literate. Their visionary sense of stagecraft headed by Roger Daltrey’s soaring vocal prowess is topped off by the band’s blistering rhythm section. With both Roger and Pete delivering their memoirs in recent years (Pete’s Who I Am was released to much acclaim in 2012, and Roger’s autobiography, Thanks A Lot Mr. Kibblewhite; My Story, was embraced by critics in 2018) it’s fitting that the two remaining WHO members have shared their incredible legacy in literary fashion, for few bands have had a more lasting impact on the rock era and the reverberating pop culture than The Who.

Emerging in the mid-1960s as a new and incendiary force in rock n’ roll, their brash style and poignant storytelling garnered them one of music’s most passionate followings, with the legendary foursome blazing a searing new template for rock, punk, and everything after. Inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall Of Fame in 1990, the band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, placing 27 top-forty singles in the United States and United Kingdom and earning 17 Top Ten albums, including the 1969 groundbreaking rock opera Tommy, 1971’s pummeling Live At Leeds, 1973’s Quadrophenia and 1978’s Who Are You. The Who debuted in 1964 with a trio of anthems “I Can’t Explain,” “The Kids Are Alright” and “My Generation.” Since then they have delivered to the world hits such as “Baba O’Riley,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” “Pinball Wizard,” Who Are You,” and,” You Better You Bet.”

In 2008, they became the first rock band ever to be awarded the prestigious Kennedy Center Honors. The Who has performed all over the world including global music events for the Super Bowl XLIV Halftime Show in 2010 and closing the London 2012 Summer Olympics. The Who continued their charity work by playing a concert in January 2011 to raise money for trials of a new cancer treatment called PDT. In December 2012 they performed at the Hurricane Sandy Benefit in New York. In January 2014 they played a set on the U.S. television special to support the charity Stand Up To Cancer. In November 2012 Daltrey, with Townshend at his side, launched Teen Cancer America. The charity is now established in the USA, with offices in Los Angeles and devoted Teen Cancer units being opened in hospitals all over the U.S. TCA’s work has impacted over 5,000 young people and their families nationwide during the last ten years.

Well, what can you say about a group that are only 50% of the original line up who still manage to rock a joint even after 40 years? They were FANTASTIC! A surprise warm up performance from Noel Gallagher ( incidentally, the only acoustic performance of the night.) doing a couple of High Flying Birds numbers and then teasing the audience with fake intros to Wonderwall and segueing into another track, finishing up with a rousing Don't Look Back In Anger.

Then it was time for the big boys. Pete made a polite mea culpa explaining that there just really wasn't time to get the acoustic show to a level or loud enough to rock this gaff "So I bought this old red thing with me!"

Well, with that he transformed into a teenager and rocked the gaff!

Roger was rejuvenated as well, demolishing tambourines and testing the cable of his microphone to the limit hurling his mike around. His voice still with that brilliant growl pulling the tableau that is Tommy together. Simon, Pete's brother and Zack Starkey played their parts admirably supplying character voices and playing guitar and drums like they had always been band members.

There's only so many tracks on the Tommy album but there was no way that they were going to end the night there and went into what can only be described as a brilliant rendition of all the intros to every CSI detective show climaxing with "We Won't Get Fooled Again".

There is only one person who could finish a gig that good with by introducing the whole band with the phrase "You were all crap!" and that's Pete. Did they fall below his exacting standards? We'll never know, but in my opinion they were brilliant and roll on Saturday for round two! A great gig for an even greater charity - Teenage Cancer Trust and all that they help as Roger finishes every gig BE LUCKY!

What. A. Night. Totally fantastic - actually, words really don't have any meaning - especially when it comes to "Love Reign O'er Me". Roger has said that he's started to sing songs as if it's the last time he will ever sing them, and it shows. John Correy seems to have a similar attitude to playing the keyboard introduction. It was pure magic.

The Who really were wonderful. I really hope I DO see them again - I need another fix - but if it never happens again (gawd forbid) I will forever treasure tonight. Yes, the sound was a bit 'muddy' but that's stadia for you. It was a shame because I didn't catch much of the banter. The guys are obviously enjoying themselves...

They did quite a chunk of "Tommy", including "Christmas" and "The Acid Queen", which was a rare treat.

The energy was definitely up and the crowd, although not completely full, was big.

If you do get the chance, go. Don't let anyone tell you they're "past it". Roger and Pete may be in their 70s, but they rock as hard as guys half that.

helen-bryant’s profile image

Even at about 70 years old, The Who put on a tremendous show. The energy in the place was absolutely electric. From the first Pete Townshend "Windmill" (Which he did over 80 of throughout the show) all the way to the final note from Daltrey (which, for us, was "The Scream" from Won't Get Fooled Again... Which he NAILED!!!) you couldn't have gotten more excitement out of the place. Sure, Daltrey can't hit every note like he used to, but his passion is still as strong as ever and he gives it everything he has, as does Pete.

Overall, it was the best concert I've ever attended, and I've attended quite a few. I've never seen The Who before, but watched concert footage from them in the 70's and this was not a disappointment... in fact, it may have been even better than when they visited Houston in 1975 when I compare it to the footage on YouTube.

I'd highly recommend this concert to anyone who enjoys good Rock & Roll or has even heard of The Who, as you'll be like me and think afterwards, "Wow, I only had to pay that much to see that good of a show?! Totally worth it!"

The Who in San Diego was fantastic as anywhere. I sat in the ninth row and we had waited for this concert eight months from a cancellation. Even the first back u I sat in the ninth row and we had waited for this concert eight months from a cancellation. Even the backup group was great. They played all their classics as usual.only thing I was surprised that they didn't come back and at least play one song at an encore. It might be because Roger is taking extreme caution with this Maurice not doing more than eight. And I don't blame only thing I was surprised that they didn't come back and at least play one song at an encore. It might be because Roger is taking extreme caution with his throat and allergies and not doing more than he has too . And I don't blame her him.Petes son is also playing guitar with them

I've seen The 'OO in 79, 80, 82, 94, 95, 07, 12, 13.

As they plan their 50th anniversary tour for spring of 2015, I recommend anyone who loves classic rock to see them. They still had their original energy of the 70's when I saw them last tour.

Often they will pull out more obscure songs for the hardcore fans but you can expect amazing renditions of family radio hits. As rock royalty goes, they have suitably expanded the musician on stage so they musically success playing a full sounds only doable in the studio 40 plus years back.

Despite Roger and Pete being the only surviving of the four, they find that perfect middle path between now and then.

The Quadrophinea tours of 1994/95 and 2011/12 were by far my favorites.

philamonjaro’s profile image

Had a brilliant time, however, I will say despite the atmosphere, the acoustics (mainly referring to new orchestra which was beautiful) were far too loud and overpowered the amazing vocals of The Who to the point we were lip reading and singing our much beloved songs. This, I presume, will be rectified as was an error and again, still fabulous atmosphere. Also, we were sat far from stage and camera work for projector screens....must do better. Roger was swinging his mic on stage whilst we're watching bottom of drums/member of orchestra reading music notes. All in all, amazing but that's because it was The Who, if they make minor changes in sound levels going forward it will be best ever concert guaranteed!

I almost didn't get into the show. After we went through security and they were ready to scan our tickets, I didn't have mine. I panicked first. I walked out of security where we were in line and there was my ticket on the floor being walked on. This was the most amazing Who concert I've seen. Roger Daltrey hasn't aged one year. His voice is stronger than ever before. I got the chills listening to him. Pete has slowed down but still a great singer and showman. They played so many of their classics. Also they were so personable with the audience. Like any concert this was much to short. The Who lives on and I hope they come back to Minneapolis real soon.

This was the fiftieth anniversary tour of The Who. I was lucky enough to have seen them 50 years ago as a wide eyed lad of 10 when they were the opening group for The Hermans Hermits.

I have seen them a good half dozen times since over the years.

Truthfully, one can never tire watching Pete Townsend. He still is amazing!

There were a number of jokes by Townsend about getting old, and while he isn't jumping in the air, he is still doing guitar windmills and playing amazingly.

It is truly special seeing them everytime.

If you are lucky enough to be able to get seats, then I advise you not to miss the opportunity.

Talking bout my generation.

The who rocked Honda Center on May 22. I had seen The Who twice before. Once at the Los Angeles Coliseum over 30 years ago and the recent Quadraphenia Tour in Las Vegas. They had more energy on stage and look like they were having the most fun ever. They played all their great hits spanning the 50 years of rocking the world !!!!! I had the privilege of seeing them three times in my lifetime. I would highly recommend anyone getting a chance to see them one last time to do so . You will not be disappointed. Long Live Rock and Roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It just does not get any better. The Best. Hope they keep going. We will travel to see these great artists again and again. The best group on the planet as far as I'm concerned. Second to none. After adding Zac and Simon, they have not missed a beat. Saw them in AC with Zac's God-Father in the late 70's. Will continue to support them and Teen Cancer for Life. New Album will be incredible. Will try to see them again on their incredible tour and journey.

The Who Release First Handful of 2023 Tour Dates

by Tina Benitez-Eves December 9, 2022, 9:45 am

Following up their The Who Hits Back! Tour of Canada and the U.S. in 2022, The Who has added on a small number of dates in Europe in 2023.

Videos by American Songwriter

Marking the first time the band has played in Europe in seven years, the initial three dates include shows in Spain, France, and Germany and kick off in June. Additional shows, including a full series of shows in the UK, will be added at a later date.

Like their most recent North American dates, The Who will be backed by a full orchestra for their European tour, featuring orchestra conductor Keith Levenson, cellist Audrey Snyder, and violinist Katie Jacoby.

Founding members Roger Daltrey, 78, and Pete Townshend, 77, will be backed by their longtime touring band—guitarist Simon Townshend, bassist Jon Button, keyboardists Loren Gold and Emily Marshall, and drummer Zak Starkey along with backing vocals by Billy Nicholls—and perform music from their nearly 60-year career, with sections devoted to the albums  Tommy  and  Quadrophenia .

“It is wonderful that we can return to Europe after so long away, to play Berlin, Paris, and Barcelona, three of my favorite cities in the world,” said Townshend in a statement. “We look forward to bringing our grand orchestral show which has received such great reviews so far and play some old-fashioned Who-style rock and roll songs from our back catalog as well. We mix it all up in the most amazing evening of music.”

Townshend added, “I have to say that this show is one that I personally enjoy as much as anything I have ever done in the 60 years I’ve been working with Roger.”

Earlier in 2022, Townshend joked that Roger Daltrey “wants to sing until he drops,” and that this isn’t a final Who tour. “No. It’s not a farewell tour,” said Townshend . “Apart from anything else, we still have people who have tickets for the UK 2019 tour [ The Who’s 2020 UK tour that was cancelled in 2021]. We’re very, very keen to do that tour and we’ll be doing that in 2023.”

Legendary rock band The Who have announced a UK tour which will see the band performing with a full orchestra each night with shows from 6th to 23rd July in Hull, Edinburgh, London, Derby, Badminton, Durham, St Helens and Brighton. Joining them will be UB40 featuring Ali Campbell across all regional shows except for The O2 London and Edinburgh Castle dates.

Pete Townshend , Roger Daltrey and band will be performing music from throughout the band’s nearly 60-year career, including sections devoted to classic albums Tommy and Quadrophenia as well as other beloved Who tracks and songs from their 2019 WHO album, their first studio release in 13 years.

The 2023 UK shows include Edinburgh Castle, the band’s first show in the Scottish capital in over 40 years as well as shows in Derby, their first since 1966, The O2 London, Durham and Brighton Cricket grounds. The gigs follow last year’s highly acclaimed The Who Hits Back! tour of the US, where the band shared the with some of the finest orchestras in America.

The 2023 UK tour will feature The Who ’s full live band comprised of guitarist/backup singer Simon Townshend , keyboardist Loren Gold , second keyboardist Emily Marshall , bassist Jon Butto n, drummer Zak Starkey and backing vocals by Billy Nicholls , along with orchestra conductor Keith Levenson , lead violinist Katie Jacoby and lead cellist Audrey Snyder .

The Who wound up their The Who Hits Back! tour of the US in November last year having wowed audiences in over thirty cities, with media and fans agreeing that the band were as good as, if not better than ever and that the orchestral arrangements, most of which were done by the legendary David Campbell , brought a new depth and excitement to Pete Townshend’s music.

Performing with The Who and an orchestra had been a long-held ambition for singer Roger Daltrey “Having not toured the UK for six years, it’s great that at this time of our careers we have the chance to go to places that are not on the usual touring map Edinburgh Castle and Derby, as well as the other cities across the country that we haven’t been to for decades, will make this very special for me. This opportunity will give our UK Who fans the chance to hear our current show, which, with the addition of an orchestra, takes our music to new heights.”

Pete Townshend “Roger initially christened this tour with an orchestra Moving On! I love it. It is what both of us want to do. Move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose. I’m really looking forward to bringing this show to the UK.”

The Who are calling upon fans to add an optional £1 donation onto their ticket price at point of sale in support of Teenage Cancer Trust . Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey are longstanding supporters and Roger has been the driving force behind Teenage Cancer Trust’s Royal Albert Hall concerts since they began in 2000. In July 2019, The Who headlined Wembley Stadium in London for the first time in forty years. The show was the only UK date on their Moving On! Tour and featured the band accompanied by an over 50-piece orchestra performing classic tracks and more as well tracks from their WHO album. The Who With Orchestra Live At Wembley will be released as a limited edition yellow, orange and red 3-LP set, triple black vinyl, 2-CD / Blu-Ray set which features the audio remixed in Dolby Atmos/5.1 mixes and a 1-CD edition.

The Who are my all-time favorite band… Townshend, Daltrey, Ox and Moon are unequaled… Bring on another chapter!

The best rock+ orchestra published concert to date I feel is Collective Soul + Atlanta Youth… Daltrey Plays Townshend a close second… c’mon boys blow ’em out of the proverbial water! 🙏

' src=

I have two tickets for Edinburgh 8th, so looking forward to being in an iconic venue as in Edinburgh Castle and with an iconic band, but my wife needs to know why UB40 especially Ali Campbell are missing from the Edinburgh Gigs ? Please help she’s threatening to not go Lol.

' src=

Great news on the forthcoming tour and new album release. Had tickets for the original Birmingham Show but alas not rescheduled Might there be a midlands show announced?

' src=

I read that if I join the fan club this month that I would be entered into a lottery.

If I win, Roger and Pete will come over to my house and perform deep cuts from “Face Dances” and “Endless Wire” in the garden.

If that’s true, I would indeed like to sign up. Please tell me whether the rumour is accurate.

' src=

Have you any plans to play in Ireland.

No current plans for appearing in Ireland on this tour.

' src=

Who (no pun intended) is the support at the o2 and how long roughly will the gig last?

' src=

Any concert dates for the U.S. Tour? The Who is on my Bucket list 🙂

' src=

Can’t find the link for my Derby tickets 2023… Help

LIV Golf Masters Leaderboard: Live updates, scores for LIV tour as DeChambeau dominates

The Masters are here.

The first major tournament of the year begins on Thursday, and nearly 90 players are at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia to contend for a highly sought-after green jacket. Thirteen of them are LIV golfers.

Spanish golfer, LIV participant and 2023 Masters champion Jon Rahm will be looking to become the fourth golfer in Masters history to win back-to-back jackets and the first since Tiger Woods in 2001-02.

Several other LIV golfers likely will be in contention for a Masters win in the end, with Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and up-and-comer Joaquín Niemann also among favorites.

Though it's red-hot American (and non-LIV golfer) Scottie Scheffler who is the early favorite after winning his second consecutive Players Championship last month. He also won this year's Arnold Palmer Invitational just one week before his Players win.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The 2024 Masters has arrived, and four days of pristine golf at the nation's best course are ahead with the best hoping to play all 72 holes at Augusta National. The action began Thursday with Round 1 setting the stage for the rest of the year's first major, though the first 18 holes did get started behind schedule.

Augusta National announced Thursday morning that Round 1 of the 2024 Masters would start at 10:30 a.m. ET, a three-hour delay due to heavy rains and thunderstorms. Nevertheless, tournament play is underway after Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson served as Honorary Starters  hitting their ceremonial tee shots .

You can follow 2024 Masters live leaderboard updates and coverage with us at CBS Sports.

The grounds are filled to capacity with patrons now that the gates are opened, and they are undoubtedly keen to see how Tiger Woods plays while taking the course for just his second professional event of 2024. Woods is just five years removed from winning his fifth green jacket, and while a sixth is certainly unlikely, counting Tiger out of anything is a foolish endeavor.

Far more likely to find the winner's circle is Scottie Scheffler, the 2022 green jacket winner seeking to win his second in three years. Scheffler enters as an overwhelming 4-1 favorite ahead of the likes of Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Jordan Spieth. McIlroy, of course, is still one Masters title away from clinching the career grand slam.

There is so much to follow this week that it can be overwhelming at times. No worries: We have you covered. On Thursday alone, you can watch the entire first rounds from Woods, Rahm, Dustin Johnson, Viktor Hovland and Wyndham Clark, the latter of whom will be making his first appearance at Augusta National.

CBS Sports is offering live coverage of the 2024 Masters from start to finish Thursday with our myriad of Masters Live streaming options. Hit the links below to tune into the Featured Groups channel and watch complete rounds from some of the best golfers in the game, spend your day surveying Amen Corner or view all the action at Holes 15 & 16. Masters TV coverage does not begin until later in the day, so this is the absolute best place to watch the Masters live on Thursday.

Today, GRAMMY® Award-nominated songwriter/producer/performer M aggie Rogers announced her first-ever arena outing – “ The Don’t Forget Me Tour, Part II.” Tonight’s release of her third studio album, Don’t Forget Me , will kick off a week-long celebration that she’s dubbed “Box Office Week,” which will include pop-up events, special shows taking place over the course of the week at intimate venues in four U.S. cities and a new round of Maggie’s notable in-person ticketing.

“On the last album, Surrender , I decided to go old school and sell tickets in-person in an effort to reduce fees, combat bots and get tickets directly into the hands of fans,” explains Maggie.   “That process was so fun, this year I’m hosting ‘Box Office Week,’ where I’ve set some special prices for fans who want to come purchase tickets in person.  Here’s how it’s going to work… from April 13th to April 20th, in every city where I’m playing an arena this fall, you can go to the local box office to choose your seats and buy your ticket for a special in-person price. You can find all the exact information for your city HERE . In NYC, Philly, Boston, and Chicago, I’m going to be in person selling tickets directly to you at the box office. After the box office day festivities, I’ll be playing a show that very same night in those four cities where me and my band will perform  Don’t Forget Me  for the very first time.”

Presented by Chase and produced by Live Nation , “ The Don’t Forget Me Tour, Part II” will launch on October 9 at Moody Center in Austin, TX and include shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden (October 19) and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA (November 2). See below for full itinerary. Ryan Beatty will support on all fall arena dates.

The first chance at tickets for both the “Box Office Week” shows and the fall arena performances will be through in-person box office sales from Saturday, April 13, to Saturday, April 20. Dates vary per city. Release Show tickets are limited to two per person at the box office and will be available for $25 with no added fees. Fans can check shop.maggierogers.com/pages/tour to find the box office sale date, time and location in their city. Release Shows will take place the very evening of the in-person box office event post the album pop-ups.

For all arena dates, Maggie is partnering with Chase to offer cardholders an exclusive presale starting on Monday, April 22, at 10:00 AM ET. Fans can also access Maggie’s artist presale by registering now  HERE . The artist presale will begin Tuesday, April 23. The general on sale for all arena shows on “ The Don’t Forget Me Tour, Part II” will begin Friday, April 26, at 10:00 AM local time. For tickets and all tour information, please visit  shop.maggierogers.com/pages/tour .

“Come buy a ticket like it’s 1965,” Rogers encouraged fans when her “Summer of ’23 Tour” was announced last year. She even worked the box office at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg where tickets for her Forest Hills Stadium shows went on sale, as Vulture , the Los Angeles Times and others reported. Elle noted, “For fans, waiting in line was part of a greater experience…What she was really doing was curating an experience for us to meet one another.”

Part 1 of “ The Don’t Forget Me Tour” will kick off May 23 at Gallagher Square at Petco Park in San Diego, CA and include two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado (May 27 + May 28). The Japanese House will support from May 24 – June 22. Rogers will also perform at Lovin’ Life Festival and Bonnaroo. See itinerary HERE .

Don’t Forget Me will be released tonight via Capitol Records. Rogers co-produced her new album with Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris) at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, writing eight of its 10 songs with him and penning two alone. Shawn Everett (Brittany Howard, The War on Drugs) mixed. The album was mastered by Emily Lazar (Beck, Coldplay), who has mastered all of Rogers’ albums to date. Pre-order / pre-save Don’t Forget Me HERE . Watch the official video for the title track HERE .

“I wanted to make an album that sounded like a Sunday afternoon,” Rogers explains. “Worn in denim. A drive in your favorite car. No make up, but the right amount of lipstick. Something classic. The mohair throw and bottle of Whiskey in Joan Didion’s motel room.  An old corvette. Vintage, but not overly Americana. I wanted to make an album to belt at full volume alone in your car, a trusted friend who could ride shotgun and be there when you needed her.”

Don’t Forget Me is the follow-up to 2022’s  Surrender , which earned widespread praise, with Rolling Stone hailing Rogers as a “pop music prodigy…an artist who’s in it for the long haul.” She recently celebrated the 5 th anniversary of the release of Heard It In A Past Life , her 2019 debut album.  Now certified Gold by the RIAA, the album has sold nearly a million copies worldwide and accrued one billion combined global streams.

The 2024 Masters  is here, live from Augusta National Golf Club. The first major men's tournament on the PGA Tour, the Masters is a tournament deep in tradition, including its location and date. The tournament is always held during the first full week in April and is always located in Augusta, GA.

What's not predictable about the storied tournament is the competition. First-timers rarely win (no Masters newbie has won since Fuzzy Zoeller did it in 1979), while Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods have won the most titles with six and five Masters wins respectively.  Jon Rahm won the 2023 Masters, while Scottie Scheffler won in 2022. Both sit at the top of the 2024 Masters leaderboard with Xander Schauffele and Brooks Koepka close behind.

Approximately 40,000 people will watch the 2024 Masters live at Augusta, while most of us will watch from home. Keep reading below for the full Masters schedule , plus how and when to watch even if you don't have cable.

Note: CBS Essentials, CBS and Paramount+ are all subsidiaries of Paramount. CBS is one of the broadcast homes of the 2024 Masters Tournament.

hidb-hdtv-antenna.jpg

You can also watch network-aired Masters rounds on TV with an affordable indoor antenna, which pulls in local over-the-air HDTV channels such as CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, PBS, Univision and more. Here's the kicker: There's no monthly charge.

For anyone living in a partially blocked-off area (those near mountains or first-floor apartments), a  digital TV antenna  may not pick up a good signal -- or any signal at all. But for many homes, a digital TV antenna provides a seriously inexpensive way to watch PGA golf without paying a cable company. Updated: Thursday, April 11, 8:11 a.m. ET: First-round tee times are set to begin at 10:30 a.m. off the first tee due to overnight and morning rain.

After a morning of monitoring strong storms that have affected states from Texas to Florida, Masters officials announced the gates will open to the patrons at 9:30 a.m., and honorary starters Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson will tee off at 10:10, followed by the first tee time in the 89-player field, Jake Knapp and Erik van Rooyen at 10:30.

According to weather.com, thunderstorms are possible around 8:30 a.m., with potentially strong, gusty winds.

Updated: Thursday, April 11, 7 a.m. ET: First-round tee times will be delayed at least an hour because of morning rain. "We continue to monitor the weather closely," read a post from the tournament on X. "Gate openings and tee times have been delayed until further notice. The first round will not begin before 9 a.m."

According to weather.com, it is expected to be cloudy from 7-8 a.m. but there is a chance of scattered thunderstorms from 8-10 a.m.

Updated: Wednesday, April 10 7 p.m. ET : The Masters has issued a weather update, noting that patron admission will be delayed Thursday due to adverse weather conditions expected overnight and into the morning.

"Due to forecasted weather on Thursday, we have decided to delay all gate openings in the morning," the Masters posted on X, formerly Twitter. "All Masters free parking will be closed until further notice while gate openings are delayed. Further updates will be shared no later than 5 a.m. via Masters.com and social channels."

Updated: Wednesday, April 10 10 a.m. ET: AUGUSTA, Ga. – The first round of the 88th Masters Tournament could be affected by inclement weather as dangerous conditions are predicted to arrive early Thursday.

There’s a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms prior to 1 p.m., with wind gusts of 40-45 mph between 8 a.m. ET and noon. That would create potentially dangerous conditions and push back tee times, possibly bringing Friday into play for the conclusion of Round 1.

Last year’s Masters was also affected by weather, with second-round play pushed to Saturday and third-round play pushed to Sunday, when eventual winner Jon Rahm and co-runner-up Brooks Koepka played 30 holes.

Severe weather began slamming the southern United States on Tuesday night, continued into Wednesday and was expected to reach the Augusta area first thing Thursday.

According to the Masters Tournament weather update:

“A cold front is forecast to bring a band of rain and scattered thunderstorms through the region between 6 a.m.-1 p.m. ET Thursday. Heavy rainfall and occasional wind gusts of 40-45 mph are anticipated over this period. A lull in precipitation should occur behind the cold front between 1-4 p.m. ET before scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms drift back into the region for the late afternoon and evening hours.

“Windy conditions persist Friday under mostly sunny skies as a dry and stable airmass settles into the area. Mostly sunny skies can be expected through the weekend with west to southwesterly winds in the 7-15 mph range.”

  • Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 90% chance of showers and thunderstorms prior to 1 p.m. ET. Partly cloudy with a 40% chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms after 4 p.m. Forecast rainfall: 1-1 1/2 inches. Wind gusts of 40-45 mph between 8 a.m.-noon. Low: 65F High: 77F Winds: S shifting SW 15-25; gusts 30-35 mph.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny and windy. Noticeably less humid. Low: 54F High: 72F Winds: W 15-20; gusts 30 mph.
  • Saturday: Mostly sunny and warm. Low: 49F High: 78F Winds: WNW turning W 7-15 mph.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny and warm. Low: 53F High: 84F Winds: W turning SW 7-15 mph.

The Masters has dealt with its share of weather conditions in recent years. The final round of Tiger Woods’ iconic 2019 victory came hours earlier than scheduled to avoid impending storms. Last year’s leaders played 30 holes on Sunday as storms wiped out much of the third round.

This year’s Masters is largely devoid of rainy conditions, with Thursday as the lone exception. According to the official Augusta National weather forecast, there is an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, with an expected rainfall of 1.00-1.50 inches.

“Isolated light showers are possible Tuesday and Wednesday before rain and thunderstorms arrive early Thursday and continue throughout the morning hours. A cold front is expected to pass through in the early afternoon, with diminishing precipitation chances for the remainder of Thursday. Thunderstorm wind gusts of 40-45 mph will be possible,” the official forecast stated.

Conditions are expected to clear up by Thursday afternoon and stay dry through the rest of the tournament. Here’s a day-by-day breakdown of the official Augusta National weather forecast:

  • Monday: Mostly sunny. Low: 48F High: 79F Winds: S 7-10 mph
  • Tuesday : Cloudy with a 25% chance of light showers. Low: 58F High: 77F Winds: SSE 5-10 mph
  • Wednesday : Cloudy with a 20% chance of light showers during the day and a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Low: 62F High: 80F Winds: S-SE 10-15, gusts up to 20 mph
  • Thursday : Mostly cloudy with an 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Windy. Forecast rainfall: 1.00-1.50” Low: 65F High: 78F Winds: S shifting SW 15-20 gusts up to 30 mph
  • Friday : Mostly sunny and windy; noticeably less humid. Low: 56F High: 73F Winds: WNW 15-20 gusts up to 30 mph
  • Saturday : Mostly sunny and warm. Low: 50F High: 78F Winds: WNW turning W 7-12 mph
  • Sunday*: Mostly cloudy. Low: 61F: High 82F Winds: SW 6-13 mph, gusts of 17 mph

The Jonas Brothers Are Being Called Out By Fans After They Rescheduled 22 Tour Dates On Short Notice To Make Room For “Exciting Projects”

One disgruntled fan asked: “could you not have planned your exciting projects around the tour that people have already spent money on tickets/hotels/travel arrangements?”

Stephanie Soteriou

BuzzFeed Staff

Last August, the Jonas Brothers kicked off their Five Albums. One Night. world tour in New York City .

Jonas Brothers performing onstage with instruments and microphones

While the tour was organized around the band’s sixth studio album, The Album , the set list includes 67 songs from all of their studio releases since 2007.

The North American leg of the tour concluded in December, but the Jonas Brothers were back on the road in February with dates in the Philippines, Indonesia, and New Zealand.

They hit Australia last month, and next week, the band will begin their 10 Latin America dates.

Amid all of this, European fans have been patiently waiting for the Five Albums. One Night. tour to reach their countries, and excitement was growing as the first date of the European leg loomed closer, with the Jonas Brothers set to perform in Norway on May 18.

The Jonas Brothers on the red carpet

But on Wednesday, the trio posted a video to social media explaining that they had rescheduled every single European date due to other “exciting projects” taking precedence.

@jonasbrothers Europe!! We’re shifting our upcoming shows to later this year. We appreciate your love and support so much. We know this is a bit inconvenient but we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming 😏 All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date and info is at Jonasbrothers.com. More details will be sent out on email. Latin America - We can’t wait to see you next week!! ❤️ ♬ original sound - Jonas Brothers

In the clip, Nick Jonas tells fans: “We have shifted the European dates to later this year, but that is only because we have some exciting projects that we’re very excited to share with you at a later point.”

“European fans, we love you, we can’t wait to see you, it’s been long overdue,” he continued. “And we are so excited to play these shows later this year, in the fall.”

“So make sure you hold on to your tickets,” Kevin Jonas added. “We will be having more information to come, but we cannot wait to see you.”

The group added in the video’s caption: “Europe!! We’re shifting our upcoming shows to later this year. We appreciate your love and support so much. We know this is a bit inconvenient but we can’t wait to share more about what’s coming 😏"

“All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date and info is at Jonasbrothers.com. More details will be sent out on email,” it continued. “Latin America - We can’t wait to see you next week!! ❤️”

According to the updated schedule, the Jonas Brothers’ tour will now take a four-month break after their third Mexico show on May 6.

The Jonas Brothers peforming

It will pick up again in Northern Ireland on September 9. Interestingly, this particular show was initially scheduled to be the final date of the tour on June 20.

The tour will now end in Poland on October 16, a show that was originally scheduled for May 30.

Meanwhile, the Norway date has been moved from May 18 to October 6.

Needless to say, the Jonas Brothers’ decision to reschedule 22 dates to make room for other projects has rattled fans, with many revealing that they will now lose the money that they spent on travel and accommodation to attend the original dates.

The Jonas Brothers perform on stage with guitars and a microphone

It was also argued that the band’s reason for the change wasn’t valid enough to inconvenience the thousands of people who planned to attend the concerts — especially on such short notice.

One popular tweet asked : “i hate it when artists reschedule their tours and the excuse is ‘exciting projects are coming’ … could you not have planned your exciting projects around the tour that people have already spent money on tickets/hotels/travel arrangements on?”

“What a shame you care more about your exciting projects than the money your fans spent on accommodations and transports less than a month before your tour starts ! this is so so so disappointing,” somebody else wrote in response to the video.

“Sorry but this is absolutely ridiculous. The fact that the tour starts in a month and you’ve just ‘changed’ the dates for an upcoming project is not ok,” another added .

“Cancelling due to sickness/illness or family commitments I would totally understand,” one more reasoned . “But re-scheduling for a ‘project’ that you are prioritising over a tour that thousands of people have paid out for, on tickets/transport/hotels DURING A COST OF LIVING CRISIS??????  REALLY????”

“You guys DO realize people spent their hard earned money and made plans to make this work, right?” another disgruntled fan asked . “A ‘bit inconvenient’ seams [sic] like a ‘bit’ of an insult.”

Over on TikTok, a self-proclaimed “huge Jonas Brothers fan” racked up thousands of likes and hundreds of comments when she stitched the band’s original video and explained exactly why people are mad.

@stefaniemaqz #stitch with @Jonas Brothers love u guys but this is a huge loss for a lot of fans 🥺 #jonasbrothers #jonasbrothersconcert #jonasbrotherseurope ♬ original sound - stef

“This is really not OK,” the creator began. “It’s one thing to shift your dates, but this kind of announcement just doesn't sit right with me — and a lot of fans as I can see. It's just really irresponsible for them to come on a video and say that they're shifting their dates due to ‘exciting projects’ when so many people have bought tickets, plane rides, hotel — it's a lot of money.”

“When artists cancel for health reasons, understandable, things happen. And buying a ticket outside of your country, you're already taking a risk,” she added. “But this video and them just saying that they're doing it because they have exciting projects, that doesn't really make sense to a lot of fans and is not a good look.”

“They’re apparently the friend that cancels when better plans come up 🙄,” one person commented on the TikTok. Another agreed: “Like schedule better boys lol they’re essentially saying ‘we decided we’d rather do something else but we’ll circle back to you guys.’”

The Jonas Brothers have not publicly commented on the backlash, and BuzzFeed has contacted their rep for comment.
