With an eye always on the latest market trends and committed to innovation and sustainable development, Braskem is launching the platform Braskem 360°, a virtual reality environment that reinforces the company’s identity and innovates how it communicates its projects, investments, products and sustainability actions. The goal is to offer other ways for people to relate with the company.

“As you can imagine, the idea behind the project is to show in the virtual world what we already see in the real world. We want to bring together in one place and expand access to information about Braskem to help users learn more about us, our commitments, our markets and our actions,” said Edison Terra, vice-president of Olefins and Polyolefins at Braskem in South America.

“It also allows us to show how we are always innovating and seeking new forms of communicating with different publics and investing in new technologies, while expanding access to content and the sharing of knowledge without geographical barriers,” explained Márcio Sanitá, director of Communication, Technical Services and Customer Service at Braskem.

The initiative offers free access to the vast universe of Braskem’s content, projects and events. Visitors can navigate a corporate environment inspired by Braskem’s São Paulo office and also can hear messages from senior executives.

The platform offers virtual tours of various real-world sites, such as the mechanical recycling plant in partnership with Valoren, which gives visitors a better understanding of how the recycling process works, and Cazoolo, Braskem’s design lab for sustainable packaging.

Users also can tour Braskem Week, the company’s first virtual trade fair, which showcases its solutions in all market segments, as well as Braskem’s virtual booth at K Fair 2022, which is exactly the same as the real booth that welcomed visitors in Düsseldorf, Germany. From the comfort of their home, visitors can keep up with the latest news and launches through videos recorded by Braskem’s specialists during the event.

In the TS&D space, users can explore the knowledge platform, which includes cases, live streams and technical content produced by Braskem’s application engineers.

Braskem holds its first virtual trade show

The event to be held between October 05 and 07, will present the company's sustainable solutions in chemicals and plastics for different sectors, such as agribusiness, packaging, civil construction and automotive, among others

Braskem, the largest producer of thermoplastic resins in the Americas, market leader and pioneer in the production of biopolymers on an industrial scale, promotes Braskem Week - its first fully owned and 100% online trade show. The event, to be held from October 05 to 07 in three languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish), will take place on www.braskemweek.com.br and will present sustainable solutions in chemicals and plastics for various sectors, such as agribusiness, packaging, civil construction, automotive, among others.

The trade show will have the same look as a traditional show environment where visitors can browse at their own pace. Each booth will have different content representing Braskem's commitment to developing innovative and sustainable products, in addition to experts to provide individual support. Presentations will also be held during the event on various topics involving plastics, chemicals and society. Subjects include: circular economy, design for packaging circularity, sustainable development, diversity in companies and Sanitation Legal Landmark.

"We have clear global goals for 2030 and 2050, which involve seeking increasingly more sustainable projects with a positive impact on society and environment, based on circular economy concepts and practices. Braskem Week was designed as an opportunity to foster synergy between the various business segments in which we operate and, at the same time, show our capacity in developing innovative, sustainable and customized solutions according to our clients' requirements", explains Roberto Simões, Braskem CEO.

The public commitment in favor of the circular economy includes a number of efforts in setting up partnerships with clients and conceiving new products to increase efficiency, making recycling and reuse of plastic products easier. "Adopting practices committed to the circular economy is a fact for everyone and is related to various initiatives, such as reducing energy consumption, preserving natural resources, opting for usage of renewable energy, choosing processes that prevent wasting raw materials, disposing properly of material that has the possibility of reuse or recycling, among others. During the pandemic, when we face various challenges, such as how to get closer to our different audiences, Braskem Week will be an important channel through which we can expand the discussion on this topic and present our innovative solutions, bringing awareness and guiding the supply chain we are part of, thus contributing so that it can also become increasingly aware of product consumption and disposal", explains Edison Terra, Vice-President Olefins & Polyolefins Unit South America.

Braskem has been keeping up with the main market trends and working along with its clients in order to deliver more effective results to its supply chain. DreamWorks Land Virtual Tour Sees Shrek, Kung Fu Panda & Trolls Worlds Come to Life

Want your first live-action look at how the animated worlds of  Shrek , Kung Fu Panda , and  Trolls  came to life at DreamWorks Land? Look no further. 

At long last, Universal Studios Orlando Resort let eager fans inside its highly anticipated DreamWorks Land ahead of its grand opening this summer . Although the tour was virtual, it still gives people their first real look at the way some beloved animated characters have been brought to life across the park. 

For those unfamiliar, DreamWorks Land is a new park opening at Universal Studios Orlando Resort that will let kids of all ages immerse themselves in the imaginative worlds of DreamWorks franchises like Shrek, Kung Fu Panda , and Trolls . While much has been revealed about what people can expect from the park since it was initially announced mere months ago, the new video sees the creative director of Universal Studios Orlando, Dean Orion, don his hard hat as he shows off just some of the many attractions waiting for your family when you visit the park.

First, he offers a look at Shrek’s Cottage, plucked directly from the films and brought to life in live-action for all to see. Although no characters came out to play during Orion’s tour, those who visit the park will get to meet Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey if they make their way to the cottage for a special meet and greet and a photo opportunity the family is sure to cherish for years to come. 

One character that did make an appearance in the video was none other than Pinocchio, who sat in a small treehouse overlooking Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres, a new play area within DreamWorks Land. If you press a button labeled “Fact Check” outside his treehouse, Pinocchio will share a fun fact that may or may not be true. If you’re wondering how to tell if he’s telling the truth or not, well, you’re probably not too familiar with Pinocchio. 

Next on the tour is Trolls Treats, a new haven for guests with a sweet tooth where they can get all kinds of themed goodies from the world of Trolls . Attendees can then jump aboard the Caterbus and make their way to the park’s thrilling Trollercoaster, which is sure to delight fans of all ages while giving them the best (and fastest) look at the park there is. 

This Teaser for Halloween Horror Nights 2024 Will Leave You Terrified

Finally, the tour concludes in Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp where families can immerse themselves in the zen world of Kung Fu Panda . Start your journey off right by pulling a rope and banging a massive gong in the center of the camp to let the entire village know you’ve arrived! 

“I can’t wait for you all to experience DreamWorks Land for yourself this summer at Universal Orlando Resort,” Orion concluded  the tour .
