JAPAN VISA: LIST OF TRAVEL AGENCIES Accredited by the Embassy

JAPAN VISA: LIST OF TRAVEL AGENCIES Accredited by the Embassy

By continuing to read this article, you agree to double check with the authorities or other concerned entities for the latest updates.

Because of the sheer volume of applications, the Japanese Embassy doesn’t accept direct or walk-in applications, except in rare special cases. Instead, tourist and visit visa applications must be coursed through an officially designated travel agency, which will then compile and submit the applications in bulk.

The downside of this system, of course, is the service fee. The embassy’s processing of the visa is FREE-OF-CHARGE. But the travel agency will collect a service charge per application. But this system has ensured a fast, efficient way to process visa applications. In fact, the Korean Embassy has followed suit and employed a similar model recently. The fee varies from agency to agency, so if budget is a concern, contact them before showing up at their office.

Here’s how to apply for a Japan visa:

✅ tourist visa requirements, ✅ visit visa requirements.

Below is the list of all travel agencies that are accredited by the Japanese Embassy. Of these, we were able to try Attic Tours (Roxas Blvd), Reli Tours (SM Megamall), and Friendship Tours (Dusit Thani), and we didn’t encounter any problem with any of them.

I was just wondering if you were able to verify Universal Holiday’s Cebu branch ‘coz I am seeing a Cebu branch in their site but it is not listed in your page nor in the official site. I have tried this branch before and would really like to use their service again.

Yosh Dimen

Hi Mat, I think legit naman sya kasi yung accreditation ng Japan Embassy yata ay per company, hindi per branch. So since accredited yung Universal Holiday, most likely kasama lahat ng branches nila.

Mat

Update! I applied for multiple entry at the Cebu branch and thankfully na.approve naman. I asked them why they were not listed and I think it has something to do with limitation of what type of visa they were allowed to apply. Nakalimutan ko ano exactly yun. Hehehe. Yung inaply ko tourist visa w/o sponsor which is pwd nila i.process.

Thanks for the reply.

Patricia

Hello! Do I really need to apply a Japan visa in an accredited travel agency?

All applications will go through an accredited agency. But you can apply at other non-accredited agencies, but they will still course it through an accredited agency rin so mas mahal sya.

Nel

Hi For the visa application, since I just had my passport renewed, and of course it is all empty though i had made multiple travels in the past 5 years and it is all in the old passport. What can you advise for such? Would it matter if my new passport is empty? or should i send in also the copy of my old one? just to show that i have record of my old trips?

Hi Nel, I can’t say for sure because I had a different experience each time I applied. There was a time when the agency also took my old passport too. There were also times when they did not. So I’m not sure what the protocol is.

My advice is to just bring your old passport when you visit the agency and ask them for their reco. :D

Hazel

Hi is canadian tours accredited? thank you.

Hi! Im on my graduate study program have my research conference presentation at Osaka Japan by January 2020.Do I need to apply a tourist visa Japan?Thank you for the reply.

Charmaine

I just wanted know po if it is possible that the applicant, being a student, his guarantor will not be his parents? His girlfriend will have to support and shoulder his travel expenses as a graduation gift for him. Would this be acceptable? Thank you in advance po.

Hi Charmaine, I haven’t tried something like this, so I don’t know for sure. But the biggest challenge here is proving the relationship.

According to the travel agency we consulted before, it’s still better if the sponsor is a close relative because you can easily prove the relationship using birth certificates.

Best to consult the travel agency where you will lodge your application.

Maji T. Mahilom

Hello good evening i apply japanese visa to traveland here in Sagay city…. Many documents needed from my japanese guarantor …and i comply it all but im waiting the original documents from japan because traveland ask me to bring along with me original documents from my guarantor or the person who invites me ..im hoping you will answer me about my few questions …it is needed to have an interview in japanese embassy? Can i do interview in cebu City only?

Hi Maji, if you’re visiting Japan for a short stay only, usually there is no interview.

eleny b cariaga

How much rate the travel agency charge for the processing of visa.

May plan po kami ng family ko na mag tourist visit sa Japan this year at ako po yung representative applicant. ask ko lang po sana apart po sa akin if kailangan din po ba yung wife ko at nung anak ko na adult ( 19y/o) na mag provide requirements such, employment cert., bank cert and ITR? Thanks

Hi ian, ang alam ko po, if kayo ung sasagot ng gastos, no need na for your wife and child. Basta same time kayo mag-apply.

Yung experience ko po kasi nung sinagot ko ung trip ng nanay ko and pamangkin ko, documents ko lang po ung sinubmit.

Pero tawag na lang din po kayo sa agency kung saan kayo mag-apply to be safe.

Depends on agency and type of visa. Tourist visas usually range P700-1000, Visit visas P1500-P2000. Call the agency where you plan to apply to be certain.

Karmela

Hi, I am a bit confused because there is actually another list in the Japan embassy website specifying the accredited agencies. I think there were only 7 listed (UHI, friendship, Panpacific, Reli, etc.). For the list you specified here, ang nakalagay sa embassy site is List of Registered Agencies. May difference ba ang dalawa?

Hi Karmela,

Thanks for raising this. We emailed the embassy to clarify. Hopefully they’d respond soon. :D

MJ

Perhaps di lang naupdate ni Japan Embassy yung website nila? When I checked din kasi sa website ng Japan Embassy, sa lower part, it shows na parang 2014 pa yata yung last update nila dun sa site.

Not sure. Let’s wait for the confirmation from the embassy.

I just received feedback from the embassy. Here’s their reply:

Accredited agencies are agencies that directly submit visa application to our office. Registered agencies are those allowed to handle package tours for Japan and they need to submit the applications to any of our accredited agencies.

Thanks, Karmela.

Nagreply na rin sila sa amin pero di nila nasagot ung question exactly. Anyway, we updated the post na rin. Thanks for sharing this. :)

Lorraine Tana

Been to Japan twice (with guarantor) planning to go there next year January pero without guarantor na. I can provide bank certificates, COE and ITR but I am a minimum wage earner sa province. Makaka apekto kaya ito sa pag apply ko? Salamat.

Lahat naman ay pwedeng makaapekto. Pero hard to say without much information.

English-speaking Travel Agencies in Japan

Exploring new cultures and nations can easily pique one's interest, but without a guide who understands what you're looking for, planning what to do can be a nightmare, which is why we strongly advise working with one of Japan's many English-friendly travel agencies.

Popular Locations to Visit in Japan

travel agency accredited by japan

Before you hire an agent, however, it’s good to have a basic idea of where you would like to go. Below are some of the most popular destinations to help you narrow down your travel plans.

You could easily spend your entire trip exploring Tokyo and still find yourself wanting to see more. It offers something for everyone from sports and entertainment, to art, culture, history, cuisine, and shopping. If you plan to make Tokyo a part of your itinerary, be sure to look through our many activity guides to see what’s possible around the city.

Kyoto was once the medieval capital of Japan. Much of the old city is still preserved, making it a top destination for Japanophiles hoping for a peek into the country’s feudal past. You can still fully immerse yourself in traditional Japanese culture by visiting a variety of shrines, temples, and shop-lined alleys.

Distance from Tokyo:135 minutes by bullet train

>> English Group / Private Tours in Kyoto

Nikko , located to the north of Tokyo, is home to the famous Toshogu shrine. This shrine was dedicated to the Tokugawa shogunate and is considered one of the most beautiful and ornate shrines in all of Japan. The surrounding forest includes an impressive set of waterfalls, as well as some wonderful onsen , or natural hot springs.

Distance from Tokyo: 140 minutes by limited express train

>> English Tours in Nikko

Kamakura is a leisurely day trip from Tokyo and full of shrines and castles. This area was the capital of Japan during the Kamakura period. It offers a great combination of historical sites and hiking opportunities. Go just a little farther out to the nearby island of Enoshima for a fun day at the beach — a spot so relaxing you won’t believe Shinjuku is less than two hours away.

Distance from Tokyo: 60 minutes by local train

>> English Tours in Kamakura

Mt. Fuji, Japan’s iconic volcano, is unmistakable. The official climbing season is from May to October. It’s recommended that you only attempt the ascent during this period. There are many official groups with which you can make the ascent, so only seasoned climbers should try to go up solo.

Distance from Tokyo: 170 minutes by express and local trains

Popular Seasonal Activities in Japan

travel agency accredited by japan

There’s something for nearly every outdoor interest when it comes to touring Japan, but there are certain areas and activities that are particularly worth exploring depending on the season.

The most important event of spring is hanami , a fleeting week where all of the cherry blossoms bloom simultaneously in a blaze of soft pink. While it’s possible to guess which week will be blessed with the event each year, there are often changes in weather that result in the window changing, so we recommend casting your net wide for a longer stay to ensure that you get the chance to experience a picnic beneath a radiant canopy of flowers.

Summer is the typical season for international tourists, but be warned: major metropolises like Tokyo and Osaka get uncomfortably hot and humid. That being said, Japan has keeping cool down to an art form, and the most popular outdoor activities include summer festivals boasting music, singing, and drums that you will hear deep into the night.

There are also many opportunities to enjoy massive firework festivals throughout the season in Tokyo, Osaka, and other major cities. If your trip happens to line up with one of these events, be sure not to miss it.

The fall foliage is truly something to behold throughout Japan. The displays across the mountains rival any in the world. Especially against the backdrop of so many ancient temples and shrines, you can begin to understand why the Japanese hold nature sacred. With temperatures cooling, this is an ideal time to come to Japan.

Winter is perhaps the least popular of the seasons, unless you head north of Tokyo . Nagano and Niseko’s alpine slopes covered in powder snow are worth a visit at least once in your life if you’re an avid skier. After a full day’s activities, it’s common to find yourself sitting in front of a steaming communal hotpot or a bowl of intensely flavorful ramen. This is also a popular season to indulge in a hot spring vacation.

Arriving in Japan

The final question is where you will be flying into Japan: Haneda or Narita. Almost all international travel into Japan goes through these two major hubs, both located near Tokyo. While Narita is larger, it’s also further out of the way in Tokyo’s neighboring prefecture of Chiba. Haneda, on the other hand, is right in Tokyo.

Both airports have had significant facelifts in the last few years, and right now it’s not that difficult to travel into Tokyo from either one. If you would like more information, check out our full guides to traveling from Narita and Haneda into Tokyo

Great tour with great locations and amazing views! Recommend doing it 100%
Awesome trip, would have never seen so many different aspects of the country without the perfect planning of our tourguide Sarah, several opportunities for deep insights in the culture (e.g. taking part in a tee ceremony, wearing kimono…), even though some days were very packed (I am a fan of experiencing as much as possible), there was still time for exploring on your own, or taking a break in between activities !

The group was far too big.We were given to believe that the maximum number would be thirty. There were 42 which were far too many for all concerned and too many for the tour guide to deal with. The Coach driver was gregarious and blunt and argued with the tour guide on many occasions. The step from the coach to the ground was too great for older people and he did not put a step on the ground as many other coach drivers did. The tour guide at times left the coach before all 42 had gotten off and started on her trek talking to the few in front with her and the rest had no chance of hearing her comments. The hotel we were supposed to have, when purchasing the tour was closer to Tokyo centre. However we were offloaded in a hotel in Tachikawa which was a long way out in the suburbs. This wasted alot of time getting to central Tokyo and incurred extra expense. At Nara we were not able to go into the Shrine as reservations were not made. Two people were left behind in Kyoto because a proper headcount was not made. The coach did turn back and picked them up. Overall the trip was good but too much emphasis was put on signing up for optional tours. It probably would have been better to include all of the optional tours as part of the overall tour and charge accordingly.
I just back from my tour. It was so fun. Our tour guide gave us a lot of details about Japan which I learned a lot about Japanese culture. Highly recommend Sunning Tours.

The accommodations were good the food was excellent and the tour was exactly what I wanted it was an active tour that we spent most of our time out doors and in smaller cities and towns Our tour guide Toshi was excellent
Accomodation in Takayama was so disappointing. Too far out from town, the futons were not traditional, just very thin foam. Intrepid, your standards have slipped. The guide Hiro was good but the fact that she had 2 trainee guides with the tour, distracted her. Generally not satisfied with our experience. P.R.

Bamba Travel

The tour organizer has very, very poor communication, planning and organizational skills. The final itinerary was sent 2weeks before the start of the actual trip, I have to remind them by email to send it to us asap as they promised it will be sent a month before the actual trip. We where told initially that they will arrange our airport transfer and have told them we will be arriving two days before the actual tour, but after days before we've been told that we have to do it ourselves. The two hotel from original itinerary was changed on the final one provided so it caused some confusion on our side. Their representative met with us on the first day of the tour to sort out our JR. Pass and it took 2hours of our precious time to do this, we almost missed the pre-booked museum that day. Their hotel choices where below average, first one is in Ikeburo with bfast included but only seaweed soup and toast where given, again we have to travel to Shinjuku station to get the train to Hakone (very inconvenient), they could just chosen a hotel in Shinjuku instead. In the morning next we arrived in Hakone, we supposed to drop off our luggage at the next hotel to free our hands to roam around the area and found that it was closed and nobody around to asked for information so we have to dragged our luggage back to the station to put them in the locker. I have contacted their representative but he even asked me the name of the hotel (unbelievable, how could he not know all this details). They replied around 2.30ish pm and was told it was unmanned and we where given a PIN number to access, again they should have known this important details and informed us even the day/night before the trip. The next day we travelled again to Kyoto, to avoid the hassle of dropping off our luggage palarva we've decided to use the coin lockers at the station. It was late in the afternoon when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist asked us to pay City Tax 1200yen for 3nights stay, this again we where unaware of. I messaged the representative and to the people on the WhatsApp group and question about this city tax, they said they will refund me with the money so no choice I have paid.Again breakfast was included but only varieties of bread available and some butter and jams and coffee or water. Unsatisfied again. On arrival at Hiroshima after 3days this is where the confusion happens as the name of the hotel was different on the final itinerary they've sent us (this was our mistake we owned this as we didn't checked the final itinerary). We've only stayed at the Flex hotel (supposed to be two nights) for a night as wanting to have more time in Osaka instead (paid privately for one night
I recently took a trip to Japan and visited Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Osaka, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences I've ever had! The tours were fantastic and provided great insights into each city's culture and history. The transportation was also very reliable, making it easy to get around from one city to another. The accommodations were top-notch, with comfortable rooms and excellent service. I highly recommend booking a trip to Japan with Bamba and experiencing all that it has to offer!

Much improved. I have been to Japan twice now both times with Discovi and this was by far the best trip I could have imagined. There are new guides all local Japanese every single one of them is amazing (Shinya was exceptional!) and a brand new Hotel not a hostal like before but even the hostal option is better this time. But the hotel has breakfast and it was AMAZING a mix of Japanese and American food. Great start to the day. And the PUB CRAWL!! Crazy night so much fun, thanks Discovi!
I expected this to be more touristy but I WAS SO SHOCKED This is a local tour! I felt like we had the nicest guides all Japanese and they knew so many little spots that you would never find yourself! Take this tour if you want to see the real Japan

Wasting so much time for bilingual translations for the last 2 weeks. Tour guides and busses keep changes every 2-3 days with no reason even all buses goes the same direction. Not sure about Spanish side, but English was awful from all 4 guides we had throughout those 2 weeks. You better pick other companies who would provide a single bus with a single tour guide and ONLY with your language. You’re getting what you're paying for, 100%.

The whole experience was seamless. Supera seems to be a very good company with good prompt feedback at the planning stage. Eriko was an outstanding tour guide. She was knowledgeable, helpful, funny, kind and incredibly hardworking. I can't speak too highly of her. The food and accommodation surpassed my expectations as did the way the s company structured the tour. I highly recommend the Japan tour with Eriko.

First tour guide for the first 8 days was great, second tour guide tried hard and seemed lovely as a person, but she was disorganized, oblivious of who was or wasn’t following her, was unaware of where she was going at times, and just didn’t seem like she knew how to do the job. I’m not the only one who felt that way. Your pre trip support was excellent and accommodating, but having taken a number of tours with other organizations, Rick steve’s in Europe, you charge a lot when offering very little. I will not recommend your tour group to anyone, and will most likely discourage others from taking one.
Genuinely fast paced very active tour with moderate quality hotels and well priced

A really well organised trip with very good guides in Japan. From the outset the communication from Indus was excellent. We loved the "Indus app" that gave us al the info we needed for our trip. World Expeditions

World Expeditions

Our only gripe was the long bus trips involved at the beginning and end of each day. Kohei, our guide, was outstanding. He let us experience many aspects of Japanese culture, and he became as much a friend as a guide.
My husband and I went on the World Expiditions Back Roads of Japan Tour last year, and were extremely disappointed in the quality of guide provided. The guide had never done the tour, had never even been to half the places on the itinerary and was a complete loose cannon, on two occasions taking elicit drugs and drinking to the point of being unable to function. When the entire tour group sent complaints following the completion of the tour, World Expeditions were elusive and largely uncommunicative, and offered us all an insulting refund of about 12% of our tour cost. Needless to say, we will not be taking or recommending World Expeditions tours in the future.

Group organization wasn’t great, but overall the guides did reasonably well. Kaylie’s English was much better than Martin’s.
Overall we were pleased with the trip. The hotel in Tokyo was quite far away from the city center but had wonderful insensitive available and a good breakfast. Our group was only 25 people so the bus was comfortable and we got around pretty quickly. Our Guide Sumi was excellent and helpful although there were a few problems understand. She made general recommendations for restaurant areas and it was fun to find and sample the food. The city tours were additional but by the end we felt comfortable taking trains and exploring on our own.

Agate Travel

Agate Travel

  • Excellent - 282 reviews for Japan tours
I was traveling with my spouse, tween, and 70+ year-old parents. We visited during the busy cherry blossom season. We were lucky as we arrived during the peak of this season and cherry blossoms were abundant. It was also quite crowded, so I appreciated my family having our own guide (versus being part of a bigger tour group). Also, it was nice to be picked up at the airport so that we didn't have to find our way around a foreign country upon arrival. I think the value was good considering it included the hotel, entrance fees to places visited, and public transportation fares. It was nice not to have to worry about the logistics of getting from one place to another in a foreign country. Our online tour consultant was very responsive and helpful. Also, the guides were knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. The biggest challenge is that the days involved quite a bit of walking, which was difficult for my elderly parents. If I convince them to go on another trip, I would add in more leisurely days. Maybe that's my fault for not asking for some lighter days. I'm a bit torn because as a traveler, you do want to make the most of each day you are there to visit all the beautiful sites; but, it can also be exhausting. This also meant having to lug luggage around various trains to the various destinations. We stayed in four different hotels as we traveled across Japan. It was a packed itinerary; we were able to see a lot in a short amount of time. Over the course of five days, we visited Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, Nara, Kyoto, Hiroshima, & Miyajima Island. Overall, an excellent trip that provided a snapshot of Japan. I would rate it four and a half stars if I could (but only whole stars were allowed). I recommend it for most families (including those with little ones and elderly); I would just add more rest days/free time (or fewer site visits per day), especially if you have members in your party that are young or elderly. Also, if you have members that have mobility issues (such as those in a wheelchair), I would work with the tour consultant as there were places that would be difficult to access. My consultant was great; I just don't think I took advantage of having chosen a “private, tailor-made" tour as much as I should have. I relied and trusted the recommendations. To be clear, their recommendations were all top notch, I just should have taken my family's (which included elderly parents) abilities more into account and been more vocal with what would be best to accommodate my specific family's needs.
Excellent customer service. Very efficient and responsive. Guides were informative. Thank you. I’ll be using your travel again. Highly recommend.

How to Apply for Japan Tourist Visa?

702336449cc57d56f35b6ff36d190ef5.jpg

  • Client contacts Rajah Travel (or any travel agency accredited by Japan Embassy) to book a package tour. The package tour does not only refer to group tours organized by the travel service provider in Japan. It is possible to organize a package tour for a private party (for example, a family of 4), but this customized arrangement will be between Rajah Travel and the travel service provider in Japan.
  • Rajah Travel coordinates with the travel service provider in Japan about the package tour request. Rajah Travel will request specific documents from the package tour participants as required by the travel service provider in Japan in order to apply for the ERFS.
  • The travel service provider in Japan registers the package tour participants with the ERFS (Entrants, Returnees Follow-Up System) in Japan. The travel service provider in Japan must be accredited with the ERFS first to proceed with the registration of the package tour participants.
  • If successful, the ERFS will then provide a "Certificate for Completion of Registration to the ERFS" to the travel service provider in Japan for each participant.
  • The travel service provider in Japan then sends the Certificates to Rajah Travel.
  • Rajah Travel then applies for the ERFS single-entry tourist visas at the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines. Travel agencies in the Philippines cannot apply for the ERFS tourist visa directly unless acquired accreditation from the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines.
  •   If successful, the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines will then issue the ERFS single-entry tourist visas and send them back to Rajah Travel.
  • Rajah Travel then returns the passports with the ERFS single-entry tourist visa to the package tour participants.

[2022] JAPAN VISA Full List of Accredited Travel Agencies by the Embassy

Mello fabrique.

  • January 2, 2022
  • Japan , Visas & Immigration

Japan Tourist Visa is one of the easiest Visas to apply and obtain by Filipinos nowadays due to it’s straightforward process and requirements. But of course, you need to know and understand the procedures first to properly lodge your Visa application to the right channels.

The Japanese Embassy in the Philippines does not accept direct applications from individuals, except for very special cases. Otherwise, the only way to apply is through travel agencies accredited by The Japan Embassy . Also, be guided that the Embassy does not charge a fee, however accredited travel agencies do and they usually range from ( P800-P1,500 ) as processing fee.

P.S. This list is according to the official website of the  Embassy of Japan in the Philippines , but in my case I applied with TravelPros (which happened to be not listed here) twice in their SM Megamall and SM Auras branches. Both applications were very successful, I even got a Multiple-Entry Visa in my 2nd application. So, there may also be other travel agencies accredited by the Embassy that are not listed here, but to be on the safe side, better apply to any of the travel agencies listed above.

List of Accredited Japan Visa Travel Agencies in the Philippines

Accredited Japan Visa Travel Agencies play a crucial role in the visa application process for Filipinos traveling to Japan.

These agencies are authorized by the Embassy of Japan to assist applicants in their visa applications. They provide guidance and assistance in preparing the necessary documents, filling out application forms, and scheduling appointments for visa processing.

Accredited travel agencies also help applicants in tracking the status of their visa applications and provide updates on any changes in visa policies and procedures.

With their expertise and knowledge of the visa application process, these agencies make the process more efficient and less stressful for applicants.

Here are some reasons why you should use a travel agency for your Japan visa application:

  • Expert Assistance : Accredited travel agencies have extensive knowledge of the visa application process and can provide expert guidance and assistance to ensure that your application is complete and meets all requirements.
  • Convenience : Travel agencies can help you schedule appointments, gather necessary documents, and track the status of your visa application, saving you time and effort.
  • Reduced Chance of Errors : Visa applications can be complicated and require attention to detail. Using a travel agency can help reduce the risk of errors and ensure that your application is processed without delays.
  • Keep up with Changes : Travel agencies stay updated on any changes in visa policies and procedures, which can be especially important during times of travel restrictions and uncertainty.
  • Peace of Mind : Using a travel agency can provide peace of mind, knowing that you have expert assistance in ensuring that your visa application is complete and processed efficiently.
Using an accredited Japan visa travel agency can make the visa application process more convenient, reduce the risk of errors, and provide peace of mind during the planning stages of your trip.

While Japan visa travel agencies can assist you with your visa application, there are limitations to what they can do for you. Here are a few things that they CANNOT do:

  • Guarantee Approval : While travel agencies can provide guidance and assistance in preparing your visa application, they cannot guarantee that your application will be approved. The final decision lies with the Embassy of Japan.
  • Expedite Processing : Travel agencies cannot expedite the processing of your visa application. The Embassy of Japan has their own processing time and it varies depending on the type of visa application.
  • Influence the Decision-Making Process : Travel agencies cannot influence the Embassy of Japan’s decision-making process. They can only provide assistance in preparing your application.
  • Provide Legal Advice : Travel agencies cannot provide legal advice or representation. If you have legal concerns, it is best to consult with a lawyer.
  • Book Flights or Accommodations : While some travel agencies may offer assistance with booking flights or accommodations, it is not their primary responsibility. It is up to the applicant to make their own travel arrangements.

Now that we’ve set proper expectations as to what travel agencies can and cannot do, let’s take a look at some of the most common services they offer.

Travel agencies offer a wide range of services to assist travelers in planning their trips. Here are some of the most common services offered by travel agencies:

  • Hotel Reservations : Travel agencies can assist in booking hotels or other accommodations that meet your travel needs.

If you’re a Filipino citizen planning to visit Japan, you’ll need to apply for a visa. The visa application process in the Philippines involves filling out a visa application form and providing the necessary supporting documents, such as your passport, flight and hotel bookings, financial statements, and itinerary.

You can choose to apply for a visa directly to the Japanese Embassy or through an accredited travel agency. It’s important to ensure that your application is complete and accurate to avoid any delays or rejections. The processing time for a Japan visa application typically takes around 5-7 business days.

By following the embassy’s guidelines and preparing all the necessary documents, you can increase your chances of getting approved for a Japan tourist visa and enjoy your trip to Japan.

Japan Visa Fees

If you are a Filipino citizen planning to visit Japan, one of the things you need to prepare for is your visa application. Along with the other required documents, you also need to pay a visa fee. Here’s a guide on Japan visa fees in the Philippines:

The visa fee you need to pay depends on the type of visa you’re applying for. Japan offers several types of visas, including tourist visas, business visas, student visas, and working visas, among others. Each type of visa has its own set of requirements and corresponding visa fees.

As of September 2021, the following are the current visa fees for Japan visa applications in the Philippines:

  • Single-entry tourist visa: Php 950
  • Multiple-entry tourist visa: Php 1,900
  • Transit visa: Php 560
  • Short-term stay visa (up to 90 days): Php 1,200
  • Working visa (up to 5 years): Php 2,000
  • Spouse or child of Japanese national visa: Php 900
  • Cultural activities visa: Php 1,200
  • Trainee visa: Php 1,200
  • Technical intern visa: Php 1,200

Note that visa fees are subject to change without prior notice, so it’s best to double-check with the Japanese Embassy in the Philippines or their official website for the latest information.

You can pay your visa fee at any accredited travel agency or at the Japanese Embassy in Manila. You can pay in cash or through debit or credit card, depending on the payment options available at the payment center you choose.

Once you have prepared all the necessary documents and payment, you can now submit your visa application. You can do this by either submitting your application in person at the Japanese Embassy in Manila or through an accredited travel agency.

In summary, the Japan visa fees in the Philippines depend on the type of visa you’re applying for. It’s essential to check the latest visa fees and prepare your payment accordingly. Make sure to also comply with all the other requirements and guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free visa application process. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

In case you’re wondering what the difference is between a travel agency and a tour agency, this section is for you.

While both offer similar services, there are some key differences.

  • Services Provided : Travel agencies primarily focus on providing services such as flight and hotel reservations, visa assistance, car rentals, and travel insurance. Tour operators, on the other hand, specialize in providing complete tour packages that include transportation, accommodation, guided tours, and other activities.
  • Customization : Travel agencies offer a greater degree of customization as they allow travelers to pick and choose the services they need for their trip. Tour operators, however, typically offer pre-packaged tours that may not be as flexible.
  • Expertise : Travel agencies are knowledgeable about travel services and can assist in booking various travel components. Tour operators, on the other hand, specialize in certain destinations or types of travel and have more expertise in those areas.
  • Pricing : Travel agencies can offer competitive pricing as they can shop around for the best deals on flights and hotels. Tour operators, however, may have fixed pricing for their tour packages.
  • Customer Support : Travel agencies typically provide ongoing customer support before, during, and after the trip. Tour operators also offer support but tend to focus more on the on-the-ground support during the tour.

Tips on Choosing the Right Japan Visa Travel Agency

Planning a trip to Japan can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to the visa application process. Fortunately, there are travel agencies that can help make things easier for you. Here are some tips on choosing the right Japan visa travel agencies in the Philippines:

Before choosing a travel agency, do your research and look for reviews or recommendations from previous customers. You can also check if the travel agency is accredited by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) or the Japanese Embassy in the Philippines. This ensures that the agency is recognized and authorized to handle visa applications.

Different travel agencies offer various visa services and fees. Some may offer additional services such as document processing or delivery services, which may come at an extra cost. Compare the fees and services of different travel agencies to find the one that best fits your needs and budget.

It’s important to work with agents who are knowledgeable and experienced in handling Japan visa applications. Ask the agency how long they have been handling visa applications and how many they have processed. This will give you an idea of their expertise and level of service.

Choose a travel agency with excellent customer service. They should be responsive to your inquiries and able to provide clear and accurate information about the visa application process. This will help ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.

Consider the location and accessibility of the travel agency, especially if you need to submit your application in person. Look for an agency that is convenient for you to travel to and has accessible parking or public transportation options.

Choosing the right Japan visa travel agency in the Philippines involves researching and comparing different agencies based on their reputation, visa services and fees, experience, customer service, and location.
