Review: 2022 Yamaha NMax 155 ABS

There’s arguably no scooter in Yamaha Motor Philippines ’ (YMPH) lineup more popular than the NMax . The hype was real (it still is) when it arrived here a while back, and over the years, it has continued to grow in number.

I myself, however, have never tried this famed Yamaha. I always see a lot of these on the road, but I’ve never so much as sat on one. I’ve been riding for years, so I acknowledge that it’s a bit of a shame.

I was recently given the chance to borrow a bike from YMPH, though, and the choice was a no-brainer. I finally got that elusive test ride with the latest model, or what the community calls the NMax V2. I’m a bit late to the party, I know, but better late than never, amirite?

I spent quite some time with the scooter —strolled around the city with it, rode it from Metro Manila to Laguna and back—but was that enough to turn me into a believer? Let’s find out.

I’ve never had strong feelings about the NMax’s design. Some people have told me how it looks like a jet ski with the bulky and top-heavy front end, but I’ve never really agreed or disagreed. I don’t see the bike as ugly, but I don’t see it as anything pretty either.

What I do admit I like is what Yamaha has done with the new design. The front end—while still a bit on the beefy side—looks much cleaner with fewer sharp lines around the headlamps and with the smaller signal lamps that are now placed slightly lower than before.

I also like the less boxy shape of the rear. That rectangular taillight wasn’t bad by any means, but this butterfly-shaped taillight on the new NMax is just on point. It gives the scooter a very distinct light signature.

Since the overall shape of the bike has been retained, accessorizing the new NMax still isn’t a problem. A top box or I reckon even panniers could work with this look. As to where you’ll be able to find these aftermarket upgrades, just head to the nearest motorcycle shop—these NMax accessories are a dime a dozen.

There’s nothing to rave about in terms of the build quality of the seat, but I have to admit that it’s more comfortable than I expected. It provides good cushioning, and together with the soft suspension, it makes Metro Manila’s unforgiving roads a tad more bearable.

It’s also more rider-friendly than I thought. Similar with its direct rival, the Honda PCX 160, I was expecting the NMax’s wide seat would make it harder to flat-foot the bike despite its low stance, but that wasn’t the case. It’s no wonder that not-so-tall or newbie riders have no problems straddling the scooter.

All that being said, the NMax isn’t necessarily a treat for backrides. The wide pillion seat with the even wider fairings could leave the passenger sitting in a somewhat awkward position with legs spread a bit far apart. My girlfriend—who stands five feet short (sorry)—is used to riding pillion on scooters, but she wasn’t too comfortable with the NMax. Frankly, I’m not really sure if height is the real factor here, so I would love to hear from any of you who regularly ride pillion on an NMax.

Engine performance

Powering the NMax is a 155cc liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder engine that churns out 15.2hp at 8,000rpm and 13.9Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. A lot has been said about this powertrain, and I see why now.

The unit does have decent pulling power, whether from a standstill or not. The CVT won’t exactly allow you to play within the powerband, but squeezing the throttle on the highway will be enough to give you that added oomph when you’re trying to pick up speed. I wasn’t able to time the 0-100kph acceleration properly, but I notice the NMax does accelerate much quicker than other scooters with similar engines.

Another unfortunate thing I noticed, though, is that the NMax can be a relatively thirsty scooter. After riding it hard on the highway and through moderate traffic, I got 33-34km/L—which is by no means bad. Meanwhile, with other 150cc engines, the worst results would be around 38-40km/L. I estimate that’s probably the best I could get with the NMax if I really were to try to go lighter on the throttle under real-world conditions.

Ride and handling

The punchy engine is complemented nicely by the scooter’s sporty ride. The NMax leans through corners with ease, making mountain roads fun with this bike. The stock rubbers on the 13-inch wheels also provide decent grip, though I wasn’t able to test it through heavy rains.

Now, if you’ll be riding mainly in the city with this bike, that shouldn’t be a problem. As I’ve said earlier, it’s easy to straddle the NMax despite its width. And even if it’s bigger than your usual entry-level scooter, its weight isn’t an issue when crawling through traffic. Granted, EDSA will still be a pain in the a**—literally and figuratively—but at least the suspension setup does a good job of absorbing small road imperfections.

The NMax also has ample stopping power courtesy of the front and rear 230mm disc brakes, with dual-channel ABS at the ready for sudden hard-braking situations.

Extra features

Apart from the aforementioned ABS, the NMax also gets its fare share of helpful amenities. There’s a stop-start system, a digital instrument cluster with multiple trip meters and a fuel-consumption gauge, and a 12V socket. It’s also handy that the NMax has an easy-access pocket to go along with the closed compartment up front.

What I didn’t really use that much the Y-Connect feature, but that’s just because I wasn’t the actual owner of the motorcycle I was testing. I’m sure the added smartphone connectivity and the features and services it enableswill come in useful in long-term usage.

The NMax truly is one of the most well-rounded small-displacement scooters in our market right now—it didn’t take much for me to see that. In a decent P150,000 package, it has both the looks and the power that most would look for in a small bike with the added creature comforts and safety tech to boot. But after testing it, did it leave me wanting one?

If it’s to replace what scooter I own now, then that’ll be an honest no.But biases aside, if I were a first-time motorcycle buyer, then yes. If anyone would ask me now about what bike would be good for the weekday commute and the weekend road trips, then the NMax will undoubtedly be one of my top-of-mind suggestions.

Kenyamanan yang saya dapat dari mengendarai nmax salah satu yang membuat saya nyaman untuk bisa trip setiap harinya, tempat duduk yang luas membuat ingin setiap harinya untuk berkendara. Yamaha NMAX Periodic Maintenance Schedule Guide

Hello, here I am again, Erwin Salarda. We have now the new tutorial about the periodic maintenance schedule guide for Yamaha NMAX. Do you have a Yamaha NMAX? You’d like to know when it will require routine maintenance. This is a blog post dedicated to you. I’ve compiled a list of all the Yamaha NMAX maintenance schedules to assist you in taking care of your motorcycle. Please read the blog post below. Thank you!

• The annual checks must be performed every year, except if a kilometer-based (or mileage-based) maintenance is, performed instead.
• From 20000 km (12000 mi), repeat the maintenance intervals starting from 4000 km (2400 mi).

FUEL LINE MAINTENANCE

• Check fuel level in fuel tank. • Refuel if necessary. • Check fuel line for leakage. • Check fuel tank overflow hose for obstructions, cracks or damage, and check hose connection.

Recommended fuel:

Regular unleaded gasoline (Gasohol [E10] acceptable) Fuel tank capacity: 6.6 L (1.7 US gal, 1.5 Imp.gal) Fuel reserve amount: 1.4 L (0.37 US gal, 0.31 Imp.gal)

Note: Use only unleaded gasoline. The use of leaded gasoline will cause severe damage to internal engine parts , such as the valves and piston rings, as well as to the exhaust system.

Tips for reducing fuel consumption

Fuel consumption depends largely on your riding style. Consider the following tips to reduce fuel consumption:

• Avoid high engine speeds during acceleration.
• Avoid high engine speeds with no load on the engine.
• Turn the engine off instead of letting it idle for an extended length of time (e.g., in traffic jams, at traffic lights or at railroad crossings).

ENGINE OIL MAINTENANCE

The oil change indicator “OIL” will flash at the initial 1000 km (600 mi), then at 4000 km (2500 mi) and every 4000 km(2500 mi) thereafter to indicate that the engine oil should be changed.

After changing the engine oil, you must reset the oil change tripmeter and the oil change indicator.

HOW TO RESET THE ENGINE OIL INDICATOR?

• Pray and relax💙
• Turn the ignition On.
• Press the SELECT button until the OIL and TRIP is displayed in the instrument cluster.

• While the OIL and TRIP is displayed. Press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds  until OIL and TRIP flash simultaneously then release the reset button.

• While the OIL and TRIP is flashing. Press and hold again the RESET button until the TRIP displays 0 km.

• The Oil Change reminder is now reset.

FOR LATEST MODEL OF NMAX OIL RESET PROCEDURE

Procedure 1.

• Press the MENU button in the handle bar to select the TRIP on the screen.

PROCEDURE 2

• While the TRIP is displayed,  press and hold the MENU button for 5 seconds until the TRIP (KM COUNTER)  is flashing then release. 

PROCEDURE 3

While the TRIP (KM COUNTER) i s flashing, press and hold again the MENU button until the TRIP is reset to 0KM RESET IS COMPLETE. 

ENGINE OIL SAFETY CHECKS

• Check oil level in engine. • If necessary, add recommended oil to specified level. • Check vehicle for oil leakage.

FUEL FILTER MAINTENANCE

When to change the Fuel Filter? Every 12000 Km (7500 Mi)

What to Do?

• Check condition.
• Replace if necessary.

When should I check? 4000 km (2400 mi) | 8000 km (4800 mi) | 12000 km (7200 mi) | 16000 km (9600 mi) and Every 8000 Km (5000 Mi).

• Clean and regap.

When should I check? Check the Valves every 8000 km (4800 mi).

•  Check valve clearance.
•  Adjust if necessary.

FUEL INJECTION

When should I check? The fuel injection must be checked for the first4000 km (2400 mi) then 8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi)  and yearly checkup is necessary.

What to Do? Check Engine Idle Speed.

EXHAUST SYSTEM

When should I check? The Exhaust System must be checked for the first 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi)  and yearly checkup is necessary.

• Check for leakage.
• Tighten if necessary.
• Replace gasket(s) if necessary

AIR FILTER ELEMENT

When should I check? The air filter element must be replace every  12000 km (7500 mi)

AIR FILTER CHECK HOSE

When should I check? The air filter check hose must be CLEANED   for the first 1000km (600mi), 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi) .

V-BELT CASE AIR FILTER ELEMENT

When should I check? The V-belt Case Air Filter Element must be checked for the first 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi) .

What to do?

• Replace if necessary

When should I check? The Battery must be checked for the first  1000km (600mi), 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi)  and year check up is necessary.

What to do? 

• Check voltage.
• Charge if necessary.

FRONT BRAKE & REAR BRAKE

When should I check? The front brake must be checked for the first 1000km (600mi), 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi) .

• Check Operation, Fluid Level And Vehicle For Fluid Leakage.
• Replace the BRAKE PADS Whenever Worn To The Limit.

 BRAKE HOSES

When should I check? Check the brake hoses for the first 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi) .

What to Do? 

• Check for cracks or damage.
• Check for correct routing and clamping.
• Replace the BRAKE HOSES every 4 years.

 BRAKE FLUID

When at what to do? Replace the BRAKE FLUID every 2 years.

When should I check? The WHEELS must be checked for the first 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi) .

What to Do?  Check Runout And For Damage.

When should I check? The TIRES must be checked for the first 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi)  and yearly checkup is necessary.

• Check tread depth and for damage.
• Check air pressure.
• Correct if necessary.

WHEEL BEARINGS

When should I check? The WHEEL BEARINGS must be checked for the first 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi).

What to Do?  Check Bearings For Looseness Or Damage.

STEERING BEARINGS

When should I check? The STEERING BEARINGS must be checked for the first 1000km (600mi), 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi) .

• Check bearing play and steering for roughness.
• Lubricate with lithium-soap based grease Every 24000 Km (14000 Mi).

FRONT & REAR BRAKE LEVER PIVOT SHAFT

When should I check? The Front Brake Lever Pivot Shaft must be checked for the first 4000 km (2400 mi) |8000 km (4800 mi) |12000 km (7200 mi) |16000 km (9600 mi) and yearly checkup is necessary.

• Lubricate with silicone grease.

• V-belt if any damage or excessive wear is found. The V-belt needs to be replaced every 25000 km (15500 mi) even if there is not wear or damage.

Hydraulic brake service

• Regularly check and, if necessary, correct the brake fluid level.
• Every two years replace the internal components of the brake master cylinders and calipers, and change the brake fluid.
• Replace the brake hoses every four years and if cracked or damaged.

Fuel system service

• Use only unleaded gasoline. The use of leaded gasoline will cause severe damage to internal engine parts, such as the valves and piston rings, as well as to the exhaust system.
• Replace the fuel filler cover every two years or if cracked or damaged.
• Check the fuel filter for clogging or damage every 12000 km (7500 mi).

Battery service

• Check the condition and service the battery every 3 months.
• Recharge the battery immediately if the voltage is less than 12.4 V.
• If the battery tends to discharge, replace it immediately.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Once a year, law professor Moraima “Mo” Ivory usually brings celebrities like Steve Harvey, Ludacris and Rick Ross into her Georgia State University classroom for some entertainment legal talk. But this time, she’s taking her next lesson across the Atlantic Ocean, from Atlanta to the Paris Olympics.

Ivory and her law students will head to the Summer Games in late July for a weeklong, all-expenses-paid trip funded primarily by a Delta Airlines donation. The students in her Legal Life course will study the business and legal issues related to the Olympics.

“We normally have celebrities, but I wanted to move into the sports world,” said Ivory, the director of the school’s entertainment, sports and media law program, which she started in 2019. “I thought it would be interesting to study the Olympics as the focal point of the class and go through all the ramifications of the Games.”

During the semester, Ivory brought in guest speakers like the general counsel of the U.S. Olympic Committee, Olympian Edwin Moses and civil rights icon Andrew Young — Atlanta’s mayor during the 1996 Summer Olympics. Her students have learned about adhering to the laws of the host city, NBC’s exclusive U.S. broadcast contract, corporate governance, intellectual property ownership, security protocols and how the International Olympic Committee functions.

After touching down in Paris, Ivory and more than 30 students expect to explore the Olympic Village, visit Team USA House, attend the opening ceremony, check out Olympic sponsorship sites and spend time at a local law school. They’ll also embark on a scavenger hunt around Paris, seeking all trademarks the class studied throughout the semester.

“This is having sort of an immersive education,” said Hannah Nodar, 24, a second-year law student and Ivory’s graduate research assistant. Hoping to venture into sports and entertainment law, she’s looking forward to learning more about security regulations and sponsorship deals.

“I think it’s more practical, especially in a legal sense. I think it’s really cool to be able to go into an interview and describe what a licensing agreement is or what a record deal entails,” she continued. “You’re able to have a more authentic conversation. You understand what you’re talking about as opposed to just regurgitating stuff that’s coming out of a book.”

Nodar said she’s grateful to have a professor like Ivory, who wanted her students to hear directly from stars and veteran lawyers on negotiating the deals, contracts and legal concepts behind their brands. She started her course in 2019 with Ludacris as a featured speaker before bringing in Kandi Burress, Harvey and Ross. Others who have made appearances include DJ Drama and Steve Sadow, the lead attorney for former President Donald Trump in the Georgia election interference case.

In January, Ivory surprised the class with the Olympic trip in dramatic fashion. The professor passed out envelopes to the entire class, telling them only two envelopes contained tickets to the Games.

As Ivory’s students eagerly opened their envelopes, each gradually pulled out roundtrip tickets to Paris. The professor said Delta Airlines — which did not disclose the amount the company’s covering for airfare and hotels — was on board with sponsoring the trip about 48 hours after she pitched them her idea. She garnered other small donations from alumni of Georgia State’s law school.

“It wasn’t a hard sale,” said Ivory, a Spelman College alum who earned her law degree from Temple University. Over the years, she built her relationships within the entertainment and media industries as a practicing attorney and a radio host and at Warner Music Group, where she worked on artist contracts.

Ivory said she wants to use her relationships to enhance her students’ experiences, while creating new partnerships.

“I’m giving my students a learning experience through the popular culture that they already love,” she said. “It’s not hard to explain that to an organization or corporation or anybody. They immediately get it. People are genuinely kind and really want to see students get the experiences that will change their lives.”

That’s certainly been the case for one of Ivory’s students, Ayanna Grant, who comes from a family of immigrants. She’s gained invaluable experience through the course that she feels has given her a “leg up” — even if Georgia State’s law school is not as highly ranked as Yale, Harvard and Stanford.

“Seeing professor Ivory and hearing her story and path as an attorney is very inspiring for me,” said Grant, who is Guyanese and Jamaican and has aspired to become an entertainment lawyer since the fifth grade.

Now, Grant and her classmates will have a chance to network and build connections on an international level.

“Seeing who’s putting on and helping to make the Olympics happen, that’s an amazing opportunity,” she said. “You never know what connections can come out of that. Years down the road, that person could be someone who’s giving you a job. You’ve already gained that familiarity with them.”

10 tips for planning your 2026 solar eclipse trip

Are you ready for the next total solar eclipse? As soon as the April 2024, eclipse across North America was over, eclipse chasers turned their attention to planning for the next one, which will be on Aug. 12, 2026 .

It will be the first total solar eclipse visible from Europe since 2015 and the first in mainland Europe since 1999. However, only five countries will experience totality — when the moon's shadow completely blocks the sun's face — on Aug. 12, 2026. That day, the sun will rise totally eclipsed from a remote part of Siberia in Russia before the moon's umbra moves across eastern Greenland, western Iceland and northern Spain, clipping a tiny part of northeastern Portugal.

The weather across the path of totality is helped by the time of the year, as August is the best month for clear skies across the region, although finding clear skies will still be a challenge. However, perhaps the most confusing aspect of this eclipse will be its height, at least for observers in Spain. You'll need to calculate sight lines in advance, which wasn't necessary for North America's total solar eclipse.

The prize, however, is the same: a totally eclipsed sun , for a maximum of 2 minutes, 18 seconds. Here are 10 top tips for planning your total solar eclipse experience in 2026.

1. Forget duration

Never judge a total solar eclipse by its maximum duration of totality. Although totality for the April 8, 2024, total solar eclipse lasted over four minutes for some viewers, most total solar eclipses last two minutes or less. Moreover, the duration of totality is trivial. What's spectacular is that totality happens at all — and how dramatic it is. Instead, think about where you'll watch it from in the path of totality because the location does make a difference.

2. Fixate on the sky position.

At no point on Earth will the eclipsed sun appear higher than 26 degrees above the horizon during the August 2026 eclipse. It won't be much of a problem in Greenland and Iceland, but in Spain, the sun will be eclipsed just 70 minutes before sunset on Spain's Galician coast, where the sun will be just 11 degrees above the northwest horizon.

It will be visible lower in the sky and closer to sunset as the path of totality shifts eastward. The eclipsed sun will be barely 3 degrees above the northwest horizon from the west coast of any of the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Minorca and Ibiza). That could cause the sun to be lost in the haze and clouds of the horizon. Or, it could produce a rare, dramatic "golden corona." As with all eclipses, you must weigh risk versus reward.

3. Pay attention to sight lines on the Spanish coast

The sun will be eclipsed from Spain's east coast at just 4 degrees above the northwest horizon. It's possible to find locations on the coast with a clear view of the eclipse, but do not take anything for granted. In many coastal locations, the trick will be to get inland and onto higher ground. Either way, triple-check the sight lines of all locations.

4. Consider some landscape photography.

The 2026 eclipse will offer a short time to image the eclipsed sun balanced with the opportunity to see and capture the sun's corona low over landmarks, mountains and buildings. Expect images of an eclipsed sun above icebergs in Greenland; over the Sun Voyager sculpture in Reykjavik, Iceland; and through the arches of the Roman aqueduct bridge in Segovia, Spain. Many photography workshops will travel to Spain to catch the eclipsed sun close to the horizon. 5. Think about cloud cover

As solar eclipse meteorologist Jay Anderson notes on his website Eclipsophile.com , Valladolid and Zaragoza, Spain, and the Mediterranean coast have the highest chances of clear skies. That said, there are good reasons to be optimistic about clear skies in Iceland and Greenland, too, with the latter's Scoresby Sund often experiencing sunny weather in August. If the 2024 total solar eclipse taught eclipse chasers anything, it was to expect the unexpected.

6. Stay mobile

Trying to find accommodations in rural areas of Spain ahead of time might be tricky. Plus, there's no need to wake up inside the path of totality for this one because it occurs just before sunset. You'll have all day to travel somewhere that's forecast to have clear skies.

7. Don't obsess about the centerline

You don't need to aim for the centerline for this eclipse. Yes, it will maximize the duration of totality. However, not only is the maximum duration reasonably short, but there are diminishing returns the closer you get to the centerline. That's because the moon 's shadow is oval-shaped, so the totality duration tapers off gradually on both sides of the centerline. For example, Burgos, which is close to the centerline, will get 1 minute, 44 seconds, while Valladolid, which is halfway between the centerline and the southern limit, will get 1 minute, 29 seconds.

8. Prepare for a "Pac-Man" sunset.

The E80 motorway linking Valladolid to Burgos straddles the centerline in the most probable place for clear skies of the entire path of totality. It also represents the dividing line for a partially eclipsed sunset. From all locations west of here, the sun will no longer be eclipsed as it sets. To the east, it will sink below the horizon while still partially eclipsed. Locations farther east — such as Calamocha, Teruel and Zaragoza — will be good locations to watch an eclipsed sunset.

9. Plan for "shooting stars" and the Milky Way.

It's a coincidence that Aug. 12 is also the peak of the Perseid meteor shower in 2026. So, in theory, traveling to Spain could get you a total solar eclipse followed by a night sky full of "shooting stars" in completely moonless skies (because a solar eclipse, by definition, occurs during a new moon ). It's also the peak time for a view of the Milky Way streaming down in the southern sky. The Perseid peak will also occur in Greenland and Iceland, but there is no darkness in that region. In Reykjavik, Iceland, the sun sets at about 9:50 p.m. on Aug. 12 and rises around 5 a.m., but it never gets completely dark.

10. Head north for possible auroras

There's a lot of talk about whether it might be possible to see the aurora borealis — the northern lights — during the eclipse as seen from Iceland and Greenland. However, it's highly unlikely — the aurora is fleeting and unpredictable in terms of timing and intensity, and during totality, the sky does not get darker than a bright twilight. There will be a chance during the nights around the eclipse, but true darkness never arrives in August; from midnight, there are about three hours of nautical twilight when it's dark enough to sometimes see auroras.

Untuk mendapatkan perbandingan kenyamanan yang baik, saya membandingkan Yamaha NMax155VVA dengan Honda Goldwing 1800cc. Regis, putra pertama saya yang juga seorang videografer dan admin YouTube, mengangguk,

Beklah… Di kelas 150cc ini, ada dua motor yang menjadi poros utama Yamaha All New NMax Connected (selanjutnya disebut “NMax”) dan Honda PCX160 (selanjutnya disebut “PCX”). Mana yang lebih nyaman?

Harga nmax bekas murah terbaru 2023.

Untuk penilaian yang lebih objektif, saya menguji NMax dengan paman Nurxal, anggota Road Safety Association pemilik PCX. Saya tanya karena dalam kurun waktu 2-3 bulan sepeda motor sudah menempuh jarak 5000 km dan dipakai bolak balik dari Tangerang ke Lampung. Tidak ada kotak, tidak ada makanan kaleng.

Kami mencoba secara bergantian di medan yang mulus, menjumpai kerikil pendek, jalan tanah untuk mendapatkan ide yang lebih cocok. Setidaknya menurut saya dan om Nurxal lho hehehe.

PCX meski garis desainnya cenderung lebih elegan, namun saat pertama kali duduk di atasnya terasa lebih kaku dan ergonomis sporty. Legroom atau ruang kaki tidak seluas yang saya kira untuk NMax (panjang 174cm) dan Paman Nurxal (178cm). Mungkin untuk pengendara dengan tinggi dan ukuran tubuh yang lebih ‘normal’, hahahaha PCX legroom sudah cukup kan? Kami juga merasakan ergonomi motor ini lebih didesain untuk perkotaan.

Sedangkan NMax mengambil pendekatan berbeda. NMax di area kaki terasa lebih elastis dan menenangkan. Terdapat 3 posisi kaki yang bisa diletakkan di dek. Selonjor (jika kunjungannya lama), santai (di bawah dek panjang) dan agresif (posisi kaki lebih ditarik). Cocok untuk perjalanan jauh karena ada fleksibilitas dalam posisi berkendara.

Membandingkan Spesifikasi Yamaha Nmax Dan Honda Pcx, Pilih Mana?

Dengan penempatan tangan di setang saya masih merasa sangat nyaman, bahu dan tangan tidak terasa lelah dalam perjalanan jauh. mencicipi.

Ini bukan masalah kecil. Desain dan bahan furnitur bisa menjadi teman sekaligus musuh saat berkendara. Kalau duduk lebih dari 2 jam terasa nyeri, cepat lelah.

Di PCX, karena ingin mendapatkan bagasi yang sangat lebar, dan sebenarnya di antara kedua motor PCX bagasinya lebih besar, ukuran dan bentuk joknya lebih sempit.

Untuk kebutuhan perkotaan mau jalan kursi PCX masih sama. Atau kemudian tambahkan busa. Tapi di luar kota saya tahu bokong kurus tapi menarik ini.

Sedangkan untuk NMax, karena bagasinya kecil, Yamaha membuatkan jok yang besar untuk NMax, dan cocok untuk perjalanan jauh.

Posisi duduknya juga berbeda. Paman Nurxal dan saya merasa tempat duduknya lebih luas dari NMax. Sedangkan PCX lebih sporty/ramping. Selain itu, sudut jok juga terasa miring/diturunkan sedikit ke belakang. Menurut Paman Nurxal, mungkin karena itu saat naik motor dari Tangerang ke Metro Lampung PP, istri sering duduk sangat merapat ke depan. Bagi mereka yang bepergian jauh, mungkin lebih cocok dengan konfigurasi NMax.

Ini sangat penting ketika berbicara tentang kenyamanan sepeda motor. Karena memang suspensi yang mengambil kondisi jalan sebelum tenaga dipindahkan ke sasis sepeda motor oleh kita.

PCX terasa lebih kokoh. Hal ini menguntungkan untuk daerah perkotaan, dimana sepeda motor dapat dikendarai dengan lebih agresif.

Yamaha Nmax 160 2021 2

Masing-masing punya kelebihan dan kekurangan tergantung kebutuhan kakak dan adik. Bagi saya, karena cenderung bepergian jauh dan keluar kota, mungkin NMax lebih cocok.

Ketika saya (yang mengendarai PCX) dan teman saya (NMax) berkendara menuju CItorek, belum 1 jam kami berjalan, saya berhenti dan bertanya kepada saudara saya gentian. Karena dengan berat badan saya (84kg) suspensi masih sangat keras dan membuat tulang belakang dan tulang ekor yang menopang 100% berat badan menjadi lelah. Segera setelah saya beralih ke NMax, saya merasa sangat berbeda.

Keunggulan PCX adalah suspensi lebih kaku di tikungan setelah Jasinga terasa lebih ringan. Saat tikungan bisa terasa lebih agresif. Hanya saja, saat menjumpai jalan rusak, terasa sangat sulit.

Untuk kenyamanan suspensi dan bobot saya, saya lebih suka NMax, tapi saya harus berhati-hati, tetap saja tidak demikian. Saya menjatuhkan suspensi depan beberapa kali karena terlalu lelah untuk melewati lubang. Hehehe.

Jika saudara Anda memiliki kebutuhan perkotaan khusus, mungkin PCX cocok untuk Anda. Dragnya sama, suspensinya sama. Tapi kalau serba bisa, atau saya lebih sering keluar kota, saya pakai NMax. Suspensi dan ergonomisnya di luar ekspektasi saya sebagai motor yang nyaman. This Snorkeling Experience Between 2 Tectonic Plates in Iceland Was Just Named One of the Best Experiences in the World

Waterfalls, geysers, and volcanic formations greet your eyes at every turn in Iceland, so when our tour guide pulled up to a nondescript lake in the middle of a rather muddy patch of land in Thingvellir National Park , I was rather unimpressed. Skeptically, I followed his instructions putting on a dry suit and snorkeling gear, and lowered myself down the metallic staircase into the water.

But the experience that unfolded in front of me in the next few moments was completely out of the ordinary. Here we were in Silfra, a rift between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates filled with glacier meltwater. Instead of feeling like I was underwater, it was as if I was suspended in mid-air above a dramatic rocky valley. 

While I went on that trip with a private guide nearly a decade ago, more Icelandic visitors have also been taking a dip into the experience, which was just named one of the top experiences in the world in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards .

Earning the No. 10 spot, the winning tour is operated by Dive.is . Meeting on-site, the 2.5-hour excursion includes all the necessary equipment, the snorkeling tour with a PADI-certified guide, the Silfa entry fee, and hot chocolate and cookies to warm up afterward. 

While in the water, guides will point out the four main features of Silfra. First, there's the Big Crack, the narrowest section, where the two plates are so close that you can practically touch them. It then opens up into Silfra Hall, filled with all the natural colors of the formation. There’s also the Silfra Cathedral, with sections as deep as 75 feet — the area where I felt like I was flying. Finally, there’s Silfra Lagoon, where visibility seems to drift through eternity.  

Daily tours start at $139 per person and can be booked online . For safety reasons, restrictions may apply for certain travelers, so be sure to read the details before committing.

Which part of the readout on the dash is not completely accurate? Thanks.  

Trip 1 = Work Mileage Trip 2 = Miles since last Oil Change  

Don't bother with it  

I generally only use them on long trips. We just spent two weeks on the road and did just under 3000 miles. I set trip 2 to track mileage for the entire trip, then use trip 1 if I want mileage for an individual day.  

I reset Trip 1 after an oil change and reset Trip 2 after filling the gas tank. Unless, I'm on a multi-day roadtrip (ie., driving from Texas to Vermont.) Then I reset Trip 2 at the start of the road trip to get a reading at the end of the multiday drive.

I use the Trip 1 for current trips if needed. I start Trip 2 upon purchase and leave for lifetime readings. Not sure if Mavericks have idle time read outs? Will find out in a month. Truck in production this week. Changed from Hybrid to Eco Dec 17 when they started allowing that change. Gave me a production date a month later. Was moved back 2 weeks and then up one week.  

Not a Maverick... I don't understand GM. On my aunt's Chevy Equinox, Trip 2 comes up before Trip 1. Makes no sense. As for how I use them? Clear them at fill up.

Both the speedo and the tire pressure readings can be calibrated at your Ford dealer. They have an app for that the tire pressure gauge can be funky depending upon your altitude like if you live in Colorado at 8000 feet you’re going to have to have it adjusted.

Just completed a trip in my Mav XLT Hybrid from Atlanta, GA to Venice, FL to Ft Pierce, FL to West Palm Beach, FL and back to Atlanta. (Watched 3 Atlanta Braves spring training games.) Total miles: 1,470.0 miles RT, mostly flat interstate or 2 lane highways once in FL. Very little city driving. Elevation dropped from 1,100 ft to 16 ft on the way there and went from 16’ to 1,100’ on the trip home. Gas used was 40.590 gal costing $129.54. Calculated mpg’s 36.2. (EPA highway is 33 for the Mav Hybrid.) If dashboard mpg’s has been accumulated for the whole trip, they probably would have been 38.5. We had to keep our speed to 70-75 mph to avoid being run over on GA and FL interstates. Most vehicles flew by us at 80-85 mph. Our speed burned more gas. NOW as to use of Trip 1 and Trip 2. I used Trip 1 for segments of the trip and Trip 2 to monitor mpg’s on a tank of gasoline. I was wrong. Too much record keeping. Hence forth, for trips taking more than 1 tank of gas, I will use Trip 1 to monitor a tank of gas and Trip 2 for the entire trip.

Would assume yes. I've not encountered a situation where actual was greater than displayed  

Unfortunately it does not work on hybrid XL. If I push OK in ON position first, it goes to reset TRIP. If I push OK before even putting key in, and do a normal start, it does nothing. I even tried holding start position for 10 seconds - nothing.

Is there any difference between Trip 1 and Trip 2 on the trip computer?

On most cars there's a difference, like Trip 1 is "this trip" and Trip 2 is "trip since last reset". And sometimes "MPG since last fillup", but on this car they both seem to act the same "trip since last reset" Also everything has to be reset individually, there's no "reset trip" feature. I wish there was a automatic trip reset for one of them. How many people get in their car and manually go through and reset all of the trip functions? Am I missing something?

I think the term for issues of blatantly stupid programming like this is "undocumented features". I'm guessing that someone's idiot son has a job he shouldn't.

I don't see why this is an issue, I can think of plenty of times I'd want two trip meters. Most common? I'm running one for fill ups, and the other a business trip that I get reimbursed for.  

Well that's fine if that's what you want but... a) it doesn't automatically reset one for the fill-ups (like our Honda does) b) that's not what I want How hard would it have been to add an option "reset Trip 1 at start of journey"? and maybe an option for "reset Trip 1 at fill-up" then we both get what we want  

Another reason, is when you are running one for a fill up and the other for trip measurements. Maybe not as important with nav though. Wes  

I use one for fillups and the other for oil changes.  

I want to say this is a waste of bandwidth, if they even use that term anymore.. but I won't.  

I personally left trip 2 unchanged, so it will give me lifetime mpg and hours of driving. Unfortunately the petals reset when you reset trip 1. Design flaw if you ask me...

Trip Odometer(s)

Just purchased a certified 2016 XTS4 and navigated through all the bells and whistles fairly good. I can only find a single Trip Odometer. I can't believe there is only one and not two trip odometers as in Trip 1 and Trip 2? All cars have two...what am I missing?  

My 2013 has 2, Trip 2 has never been reset and is the same as the odo on mine. Kind of easy to skip thru. Both are right around the MPG displays in the sequence.  

I noticed that my 2018 XTS Luxury only has one trip odometer as well. Another thing it doesn't have is a 110 VAC outlet. My last two Malibus even had that.  

In my 2018 XTS Luxury there is a general setting in CUE I believe under vehicle that enables the second odometer. You can then access it from your steering wheel controls.  

I noticed same thing on my 2019 Luxury XTS too. Can't believe that for $55,000 they can't include a second trip odometer!! :-(  

Thank you all for your response...I will see the dealer for another minor repair in a few days and see what they say. On another note, when i received the 130 or so certified point inspection, it looked as if all the check marks were checked at the same time. After two weeks I had to bring in the XTS and it needed two new shocks (no charge)! The car only has 21500 miles on it. . Again, I will get back and thanks again for your input! Ron R  

You must turn it on. DIC Starting on Page 136 in owners manual. Pg. 137 Trip 1 or Trip 2 (Base Cluster)/Trip 1 or Trip 2 and Average Fuel Economy (Uplevel Cluster) : The Trip display shows the current distance traveled, in either kilometers (km) or miles (mi), since the trip odometer was last reset. The trip odometer can be reset by pressing and holding SEL while this display is active. Edit: Sorry this is for my '18. I'm not sure its applicable to your '16  

Thanks for the clarification on how to enable the second odometer. I like to reset my first odometer upon fill-up and my second one at each oil change.

Trip 1 and 2 not working

I searched and don't see any information on this. On my new '15 Street Triple the trip 1 and 2 odometers don't function properly, just random mileage, sometimes even going backwards. Do I need a new gauge cluster or is there a fix for this. Clock, gas gauge, and odometer seem to be fine.  

Are you sure you havent just accidentally cycled through the display options? "Trip 1" or "Trip 2" will always be displayed on top of the odometer, regardless of what information (average consumption, average speed etc) is actually being displayed. The next cycle-setting after the trip-meter is range to empty, which would explain the mileage going down. Look for the small extra symbols below the odometer to see what setting you are actually in.

Odometer going backwards? This could be the count down to your first/next service. How many miles on the bike?  

Thanks will check that out ...I'm at about 800 miles and have had the first service.  

If user error is not the cause, my next step would be to check with the dealer, before I started fixing things on my own, on a brand new motorcycle. After my warranty expires I do my own service, but on their dime, let them fix the problems that arise. And a screwy gauge cluster doesn't sound easy to fix.
